A monster a day - Day 6 - NYAROMON

Now doing it right this time, let's start with an In-Training Digimon. Obviously the right choice to Augmon is Gabumon. So I did Kairi's digimon instead at the request of my s/o.

So when I do eventually do Matt's partner Digimon, you can Expect TK's to follow shortly after. Also I swear, this won't be all digimon. I'll do other monsters, I swear!

Il m'a fallu plusieurs années pour lire une grande partie des romans d'Isaac Asimov l'auteur qui a popularisé le personnage des robots humanoïdes dans la littérature.

En 2011, ma belle-soeur m'a prêté les recueils de nouvelles intitulé Le Grand Livre des Robots.

Puis en 2012 je me suis attaquée à la grande saga de la Fondation qui compte 7 romans.

L'ensemble est si dense qu'il me faudrait les relire car je ne me souviens que des grandes lignes. Celles-ci m'ont permis d'apprécier l'adaptation de la série que j'ai pu découvrir sur la plateforme Apple TV.

C'est toujours intéressant de découvrir des "classiques" d'un genre littéraire, même si ça n'est jamais évident de remonter le temps quand on a l'habitude d'une narration et d'un univers qui est à présent bien établi dans la culture populaire. Pourtant, les premiers auteurs à avoir participé au genre de la science-fiction ont le mérite d'avoir essayé quelque chose de différent qui était osé et risqué.

Je reste encore surprise du récit de la Guerre des Mondes de H.G. Wells qui a réussi à décrire des concepts scientifiques difficiles à appréhender pour son époque. Il en va de même avec Ray Bradbury et sa description des écrans qui envahissent le quotidien et la destruction des livres dans Farenheit 451. Ce que j'appelle le "génie" d'un auteur, c'est cette capacité à pressentir ce que l'humanité pourrait accomplir et leur compréhension de la nature humaine.

A monster a day - Day 1 - AGUMON

Happy 2024 everyone! I'm trying a personal challenge of doing a warmup doodle of a monster for all 366 days this year (curse you leap year)

Anything that would be considered a monster is free game, including monster guys n gals/Monster forms of human characters/dragons/humanoid monsters and so on!

I'm currently going through the most iconic monster design of all Pikachu! The rest of the evolution line is soon to come!

I'll likely take monster request as I run out of popular media to reference
