Fentonic 2024 - A February Danny Phantom, Art/Writing Monthly Prompt

Heya fellas! As I seen February did not have a monthly prompt yet for DP so I created one just for the kick of it! I made on for MLB with a very specific theme last October and I enjoyed it a lot so i thought i'd create another one, this time for DP as am mainly drawing for this fandom these days.

This challenge/prompt can be taken as a pure DP or a DC x DP (Batpham) one. If u wanna spice it up? You can even mix in other fandoms too! Go wild!

This challenge/prompt can be taken as both an art or a writing one, whichever you'd prefer. I tried to make it so all days can be both drawn and written with the given prompts (at least one of the two). Hope i managed it well enough.

As February is mainly know for Valentine's it will contain a few romatic prompts but most can be taken as platonic. For those not comfortable with writing or drawing romance: feel free to leave out that half of the prompt or even skip that day, no pressure.

Also let's not forget about the other half of it: winter. So stuff associated with it like cold, hot drinks, winter sports and more-

Jour 19. Robot.

Il m'a fallu plusieurs années pour lire une grande partie des romans d'Isaac Asimov l'auteur qui a popularisé le personnage des robots humanoïdes dans la littérature.

En 2011, ma belle-soeur m'a prêté les recueils de nouvelles intitulé Le Grand Livre des Robots.

Puis en 2012 je me suis attaquée à la grande saga de la Fondation qui compte 7 romans.

L'ensemble est si dense qu'il me faudrait les relire car je ne me souviens que des grandes lignes. Celles-ci m'ont permis d'apprécier l'adaptation de la série que j'ai pu découvrir sur la plateforme Apple TV.

C'est toujours intéressant de découvrir des "classiques" d'un genre littéraire, même si ça n'est jamais évident de remonter le temps quand on a l'habitude d'une narration et d'un univers qui est à présent bien établi dans la culture populaire. Pourtant, les premiers auteurs à avoir participé au genre de la science-fiction ont le mérite d'avoir essayé quelque chose de différent qui était osé et risqué.

Je reste encore surprise du récit de la Guerre des Mondes de H.G. Wells qui a réussi à décrire des concepts scientifiques difficiles à appréhender pour son époque. Il en va de même avec Ray Bradbury et sa description des écrans qui envahissent le quotidien et la destruction des livres dans Farenheit 451. Ce que j'appelle le "génie" d'un auteur, c'est cette capacité à pressentir ce que l'humanité pourrait accomplir et leur compréhension de la nature humaine.

Only used one pose out of the two i wanted to do XD but ‘m still proud of this creation X3 Entry for @far-side-skies art challenge. We were given the Oriental dwarf kingfisher and I had a blast with the colors. ❤️ Also I love owl house X3

These two are in charge of all forms of love from childhood love to destined lovers, is their work perfect? no, they’ve had a few mess ups their biggest one being when they were tricked into creating the sin of Lust by a demon of the underworld. After 500 years of stone imprisonment the two were released and allowed to resume their work of matchmaking and fixing the damage Lust had caused.

C'est l'une des injonctions sociales qui met le plus de pression : se mettre en couple, et par la suite, s'installer, se marier et avoir des enfants. Ce schéma ultra conservateur impose une vision de la vie très rigide qui manque cruellement de tolérance pour celles et ceux qui ne souhaitent pas s'y conformer.

Pourquoi une telle urgence à se mettre en couple avec une autre personne quand on apprend encore à se connaître soi-même et que l'on cherche encore sa voie professionnelle ou tout simplement son but dans la vie ? La planète étant déjà surpeuplée, la priorité n'est plus à la procréation comme la religion l'a imposé avec force et fracas à travers les siècles.

Chacun devrait être libre de choisir son style de vie, avec ou sans sexualité, avec ou sans partenaire amoureux, avec ou sans enfants. Car, en fin de compte il n'y a que la liberté de choix et le consentement total qui permet d'atteindre le bonheur.

Forcer une pièce à entrer dans un espace qui n'est pas adapté à sa forme ne fera qu'abimer cette pièce et tout ce qui l'entoure.
