you have to swipe at your mouth to stop yourself from drooling when he puts his mug down and lifts an arm up high to put the coffee granules back in the cupboard — his shirt riding up just enough for you to get a good look at a slither if his his sun-kissed, diamond cut v-line and waistband of his boxers too. it’s like the guy is purposefully trying to kill you.

just the very sight of katsuki like this, probably fresh from his work out, has you in a shambles — breaking out into hot sweats, panting like a dog. someone might even think you’re sick.

katsuki pays your little tantrum no mind, crossing his arms and leaning his hip against the kitchen counter while he waits for you to finish.

you can’t help that your eyes drop back down to his cotton grey sweats — they’ve slipped a little lower, low enough for his sharp v-line and soft blonde curls from his happy trail to peek out from the waistband. if you squinted (not that you would need to) you could make out the outline of his semi as it brushes against your inner thighs.

this is it. this is the end. “it makes me feel worse actually. like i might die of thirst or something. especially if you don’t—“

“if i don’, what?” his hands are all over you now, splayed over your tummy, digging into your waist — he overwhelms you. pressing his body against yours until you practically feel him through your pores. bakugou is hot (physically, sure) but against you, your desire for him spreads like a heatwave through every inch of your body — from the tips of your fingers and toes to the top of your head.

“kiss me.” you breathe, a neediness seeded into your tone.

bakugou arches a blonde eyebrow, looking down at you cockily. “c’mere then, brat.”

he uses a finger and thumb to tilt your chin up towards him, leaning down to kiss you before tricking you with a fake out. just as you begin to whinge and complain, the blonde squishes your cheeks so you can’t wriggle away from him and licks into your mouth with a teasing laugh. he only kisses you fully when you grasp at his slender waist, feel him up from under his clothes and slip your hands over his ass — just bellow the waistband of his sweats.

“fuckin’ tease,” katsuki grunts, tugging on your lower lip with his teeth and sucking in your tongue.

on an especially productive day, you head for the university gym to break a sweat and make progress on building your glutes. it’s upon arrival that you see mikasa, toned body sheen with sweat. exercises that would be considered strenuous to others, she pushes through with the utmost ease. it’s your first time seeing her in a sports bra, and you’re close to audibly gasping— has she always been this fucking ripped? you never would’ve thought that such a defined pack of tight abs belonged to her. it must be the magical work of all the layered clothes that cover up her physique and leave you none the wiser. you’re almost entirely sure that she has just as much muscle as the campus jock, reiner.

The fridge has been pulled open too- all that remains of a pack of sausages is the plastic bag and some chewed ends, an entire block of cheese has been half-eaten, and a bottle of milk is dripping steadily from where it's leaning upside-down against the door.]

after the initial HORROR of this MOMENT. i realised that in the mess lay clues to the perpetrator!

mostly there were pawprints. big ole pawprints in the coffee. leading to the window. which has definitely been forced open because it's been raining too much for me to have it open otherwise BUT IT'S OPEN.

i looked up the pawprints.

Hello! Oldie Chinese Diaspora™️ Anon here. Thanks for the question! Nothing quite like a challenge, Anon, I had to go back and dig through my organic chemistry roots. But hopefully I can offer something that will put your mind at ease.

Medical waste comes in two broad categories, vinyl and polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The Antu series, as far as I can glean, are made of ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) and PVC (as seen from the Dollection website https://www.mydollection.com/product-page/penny-s-box-penny-college-series This website said the hair is made of resin, but I don’t see that information repeated anywhere else. Therefore, I am going to assume it is a possible translation error). For comparison, the GSC Nendoroid dolls are completely made of PVC. This means we’ve already eliminated one category of potential waste; no vinyl in the Antu series.

Here comes the more chemistry-heavy part, so please bear with me.

PVC is a versatile and extremely useful material, therefore it’s ubiquitous in our daily lives. There are many forms of PVC, depending on the amount of plasticizer in the material – rigid PVC have less or no plasticizer present, while pliable PVC has more. Medical use PVC tend to favour the softer, pliable kind, whereas construction (like water pipes) tends to favour the rigid type. Toys are somewhere in the middle, depending on the design of individual items.

PVC plastic is useful because is actually recyclable. There are two main forms of recycling: Mechanical recycling (where you grind the old items into granules to be melted for later use) and “feedstock” recycling (where chemical reactions are involved to alter the types of PVC in the recycled products). Mechanical recycling is cheaper, but limited – you only get the same type of PVC as what you start with. If there is a mix of different PVC that went into the chompers, the end result is unstable and unpredictable. It greatly reduces the lifespan and utility of the resulting plastic. (More information here: https://www.bioenergyconsult.com/recycling-polyvinyl-chloride/ ) From what I can find on the Chinese illegal recyclers, they chose the easier, cheaper mechanical path (Once again, from this article here: http://industry.people.com.cn/n1/2019/0316/c413883-30979176.html ) It means the most likely scenario for the illegally-sourced medical waste was that it was ground into soft granules (possibly with some batch unpredictability, depending on if there was anything mixed into that batch.) This kind of granules are unsuited for small, semi-rigid toys (once again, think Nendoroids). From what little I know of the Antu series (I don’t have one and has no plans to get one), I am of an opinion that it’s highly unlikely that recycled medical waste went into their production. Besides, considering that it is a subdivision of Dollzone (apparently this is a spinoff series off of Dollzone’s Antu: http://www.acbjd.com/antu-p-12974.html?cPath=327_557 ), it’s even less likely that illegally-recycled medical waste went into these dolls.

Note 1: Medical waste are not allowed to be recycled due to potential contamination precautions. However, other types of PVC are perfectly good to be recycled. Please do not side-eye anything that contains “recycled PVC” because of the illegality of some unscrupulous bad actors.

Note 2: Apparently, the Antu series does contain ABS. Once again, ABS plastic is ubiquitous and extremely useful. However, ABS plastic does contain Bisphenol A (BPA). Therefore, as silly as I may sound, I do not recommend these dolls for children who may put these in their mouths. If anything, please recycle them properly when you no longer want to keep them as well.

Note 3: A number of legit resin companies are starting to venture into non-resin lines these days. Granado has their Vindoll line. Imomo and Kinoko Juice both have vinyl lines as well. I believe this is a way for these legit companies to pivot in the face of recasts (since there seem to be fewer recasts done in other materials around.) These lines are also more affordable than resin as well. I personally believe these lines are created to curb the flood of recasts. So please, if you are inclined, please give thought and hopefully support these ventures as well.

Kolkata's AB Polypacks adds a new rotogravure press 

AB Polypacks, a West Bengal-headquartered one-stop shop for a wide range of flexible packaging solutions, recently added a 9-color Solomark ELS 6450 rotogravure press from Pelican Rotoflex to its portfolio. The company had earlier added a turret slitter from Pelican.

With its manufacturing facility spread over 1.5 lakh square feet of land in Howrah near Kolkata, the company, which started its journey in 2006, provides a wide range of flexible packaging solutions, including collation shrink films, shrink labels, wrap-around labels, laminates, and all kinds of pouches, under one roof.

The Solomark 6450 has a maximum web width of up to 1300 mm, with a web tension range of 60 to 400N and a reel diameter of 1000 mm. Chinmay Kumar, co-founder of AB Polypacks, emphasized its high energy efficiency with lower power consumption and less waste. “It is user-friendly with better operational ease with better print quality and higher productivity,” he said.

According to Kumar, the machines present in the plant's arsenal for printing, lamination, blown films, shrink labels, and pouching are what set the company apart from its counterparts.

The printing unit, apart from the new Solomark 6450, is equipped with four more high-speed rotogravure printing presses. It has expertise in a diverse range of materials, ranging from polyester and PVC to PET-G, shrink film, BOPP film, foil, and paper.

The blown polyethylene film unit at the plant has a production capacity of 10,000 metric tonnes per annum. The company says it takes pride in manufacturing the best quality three-layer collation shrink film and poly films of a wide variety for lamination.

Speaking about the blown film unit, Kumar said, “Our W&H Optimex extruder provides excellent mechanical strength, and a completely automated machine provides precise operations. The thickness controller ensures easy downgauging and reduces micron variation with minimum wastage.” The major suppliers of plastic granules to the plant are HPL, IOCL, Dow Chemicals, and Borouge.

To provide high-quality packaging material, the manufacturing unit is equipped with fully automatic corona treatment machines such as Nordmeccanica. It is a combi line in which simultaneously solventless and base facility can be utilized.

The pouching unit manufactures various types such as three-sided sealed pouches, central seal pouches, stand-up pouches, pillow pouches, spout pouches, shaped pouches, and various customized pouches as per requirements.

With the entire gamut of flexible packaging solutions under one roof, the company offers its products to the food packaging, liquid packaging, healthcare, and agriculture sectors, the household and personal care sectors, and the spices industry as well.

“High barrier properties along with high aroma retention properties of our packaging material make us the supplier of choice to most of the spices brands in the country,” he said.
