As a certified teenager, it’s safe to assume that I love summer. Why wouldn’t I? It’s the time of the year when you can pretty much do whatever you like. Summer is the grand time where the months-long prep and countdown for family vacations actually come in fruition.

But there’s danger that lurks during summer. It’s the trap of monotony where sleeping late, waking up at noon, watching endless TV, and playing video games for hours become a routine. Well, not if you are friends with Miyako.

Despite chatting with friends into the wee hours of the morning, the girl is an early riser. She’s the “get up and go” type, only grabbing a banana for breakfast as she sprints out the front door. Afterall, an object in motion in stays in motion.

It was the first Saturday of summer vacation when she barged into my room, a flurry of purple hair and lipgloss. “Hika!” she screeched. Miyako was one of the only people that called me by a nickname, and never failed to abuse this privilege. “What are you still doing in bed? If you want to go scope out hot guys on the beach with me, you have to get up. We’re burning daylight!”

I didn’t even have to glance at the clock to know that it was inhumanly early. The coffee machine in the kitchen was silent, and the sound of my brother snoring permeated the apartment. Somehow, I managed to pull myself away from the warmth of a slept-in comforter, yawning all the while. Before my feet hit the floor, Miyako was rummaging through my wardrobe, clicking her tongue in disapproval at my large collection of borrowed basketball t-shirts. “Hmm, where do all these come from, I wonder?” she asked pointedly. She laughed airily, flashing me a wink.

“Ha, ha, Miya, very funny. You know me and him are just friends,” I offered, attempting to stretch the sleep out of my joints. She shook her head in disapproval, purple ponytail swinging behind her.

A note about Miyako: she fancies herself a matchmaker, and believed I was her perfect target.

For years, she has tried everything to pair me up with my best friend. A few summers ago, she locked us both in the hall closet, smushing us between the extra linens and a scratchy, wool blanket. Takeru and I are pretty close, so we weren’t particularly bothered by our close proximity. We might have been able to enjoy our time together had Miyako not forgotten about us. It wasn’t until my brother came home from soccer practice that someone heard our desperate pleas for freedom. Ever since then, she has stayed out of it.

With a hum of approval, she tossed a sundress in my direction. I barely had time to catch the flimsy, yellow fabric before she barked out another order. “Go to the bathroom and put that on, we need to hurry.”

My socked feet padded their way silently to the bathroom, pausing only to check the time displayed in the hall: 7:45 in the morning. Changing quickly, I slipped the sundress over last season’s bathing suit, adjusting the straps as the material settled around my hips. Miyako, being a full year older than me, had taken puberty gracefully, filling out gradually and evenly. My body, it seemed, had other plans. The hips seemed to be its first priority, leaving the top of my dress little to fill itself out.

I made my way back towards my room, careful to avoid any creaky floorboards. Miyako sat atop my bed, flicking through a stray magazine. She hadn’t noticed my arrival, and I took my few extra moments of silence to study her.

This past semester, she had shot up several inches, giving her legs the slender look of a model. Her cut-off shorts only emphasized this fact. Her Hawaiian-esque button down should have been tacky, but she left the buttons undone, showing off her camisole underneath. A bathing suit top poked out from underneath it, accentuated her new curves. Compared to her, I felt like a little girl playing dress up.

While I struggled to coax the tangles out of my horrendous bedhead, Miyako gave me the rundown of the day. “Okay, so I was thinking we hit up Starbucks first. They have some new fruity lemonade that I’ve been dying to try, and I’m also kind of hungry.” As if to punctuate her statement, my own stomach growled, and I grinned sheepishly up at her. “Make that two of us,” I laughed.

She rambled on about sunbathing and beach volleyball, the metallic jingle of her bracelets accentuating every point. Miyako talked with her hands, making gestures large and small as if it would help the listener understand her better. Spoiler alert: it never did, but it was fun to watch all the same.

My hair finally tamed, I applied some light concealer, desperate to rid myself of the dark circles clinging underneath my eyes. “You know,” her jingling stops, “You really don’t need any makeup, Hika.”

I only snort in response; taking compliments has never been my forte. Grabbing my purse and phone, I slipped on a pair of sandals. “Okay, I’m ready.”

As one could expect on the first weekend of summer vacation, Odaiba beach was cluttered with people. For mile it seemed the white sand was obscured by sunburnt bodies and an array of towels, but that was understandable.

The passing heat wave had been brutal. One could not go outside without sunscreen, lest risk getting sun poisoning. Within minutes, Miyako sucked her lemonade dry, settling on chewing the left-over ice. “Oh!” she squealed, bits of ice flinging about. “An empty spot, just over there!”

Years of running away from evil Digimon looked like practice as we narrowly dodged the ample bodies of beach-goers. Arms linked together; our feet kicked up sand behind us as we ran. Just as we were about to secure our small area, a blue beach towel obscured the white sand.

I was panting too hard to notice Miyako’s eyes light up or the stranger’s shadow obscure the sun’s rays.

“Hey, guys! What are you two doing here?” a familiar voice asked, humor lifting at the end of his question. My breathing stopped mid-pant, silently cursing whatever deity that would listen. Once my heartbeat was under control, I managed to stand up straight. Raising a singular eyebrow, I challenged our guest. “Well, Takeru, the last time I checked, this beach is open to the public.”

His blonde hair reflected the sunshine, a soft, golden glow haloing around him. As if I needed any more reason to fall in love with him. He laughed in good nature, smiling a boyish, toothy grin.

“You took our spot.” Miyako pointed out, arms crossed over her chest. Wrinkles formed between her brows, her effort to look more menacing. A pair of heart-shaped sunglasses shielded her hazel eyes, and I almost giggled at the thought of her trying to look domineering while wearing something so innocent.

“Who says we all can’t share?” he countered; blues eyes illuminated by mischief. Never one to back down from a challenge, Miyako stood her ground, “I don’t think so.”

Anxiety clenched at my stomach. As of late, being in a close proximity to Takeru made me nervous, especially when he was shirtless with little rivets of water trailing their way down his abs. He was no longer the cute little eight-year-old that sat with me by the campfire. Years of basketball practice had solidified his athletic figure, and two summers ago, his growth spurt had him towering over his own brother. Seeing him in nothing but a pair of swimming trunks did not help my flushed state.

“It’ll be fine, Miyako. We can just squish our towel beside his.” Rolling her eyes, she begrudgingly pulled out her Hello Kitty! themed towel, spreading it haphazardly on the ground. “Let’s just get in the water. That’s where all of the cute guys are, anyway.”

Takeru, for his part, pretended not to notice the hostility in her voice. He was as used to her moodiness as I was. Standing there awkwardly, he only made the move to leave as we began to strip down to our bikinis. “I should probably go find Ken and Daisuke. I’ll catch you both later,” he stammered, eyes intently focused on the granules of sand that had clung themselves to his hands.

Looking at each other, Miyako and I burst into a fit of giggles. She had a twinkle in her eyes as she wiggled her eyebrows in my direction. “No, absolutely not.” I deadpan, knowing exactly where this was about to go.

Her glossed bottom lip poked out, her attempt at a puppy-dog look. In my opinion, she looked more like a Kardashian, and when I told her exactly this, the lip was sucked right back in.

Though it was still pretty early, the sun was high in the sky. My cheeks were warm, and my shoulders had turned a light shade of pink. “We need to put some sunscreen on before we fry.”

“Nah, I’m good. I need to work on my tan anyway.” Miyako’s high-waisted bikini bottoms and halter bathing suit top suited her figure, the cornflower blue color complimenting the slight tan she had already developed. She raised an eyebrow at my pink one-piece, but I just shrugged. Shopping for a skimpy bathing suits had never been one of my priorities.

Neither of us felt comfortable oogling guys when our friends were here and apt to make fun of us, so the though of swimming was abandoned. I smeared sunblock on any bit exposed skin, using the technique a toddler would when icing a cake: all hands on deck.

The pair of us sprawled out, Miyako’s body covering most of the cartoon cat. My pale legs claimed Takeru’s towel as my own. His blonde hair had disappeared in the throngs of beachgoers, and considering that he wasn’t the sunbathing type, I figured he wouldn’t complain.

Rays of sunshine encapsulated me, and the muscles in my shoulders slowly unwound. Eyes closed, I only half-listened to surrounding conversation. A child begged his mother for ice cream while some teenaged girl made her move. A nearby volleyball game was in full swing, both teams shouting at one another. The summer air was stagnant, smelling of sunscreen, sweat, and salt.

We laid around, soaking in the sunshine and the freedom that came with summer vacation. Those last few weeks of school had been stressful. Between taking pictures for the school paper and studying for any upcoming exams, I had been ready to lose my mind. Takeru had also been acting strange, flip-flopping between avoiding me at all costs or never letting me out of his sight. It had all be so intense that I was grateful for Miyako’s distraction, even if it meant waking up at the ass-crack of dawn.

“Psst.” I whispered. I rolled onto my side, doing my best to ignore the way iced coffee moved around in my belly. In our haste to get to the overcrowded seaside, we had forgone any breakfast, hoping that caffeine would be enough to fuel us throughout the day. The rumble in my stomach proved otherwise.

Miyako groaned, peeking at me through her ridiculously long lashes. Note to self: interrogate her about the brand of mascara she uses.

“Psst, Miyako.” She ignored me once again, opting to rotate like a rotisserie chicken.

“Ugh, fine, I’ll go find food on my own.” I stood up, dusting invisible debris off of my legs. Sure enough, I had my friend’s full attention. Anything that involved eating always got her going. In a flurry of purple hair and sand, she was up on her feet, eyes searching for the nearest snack source. A laugh bubbled out of my throat. Miyako tended to do all things with a theatrical flair, making even the most mundane tasks enjoyable.

Once, in middle school, we were both sentenced to lunch duty. Our job was simple: serve food to our peers. Dishing out food was easy; just ladle the mystery meat on a plate and voila! You were finished. It would have been simple enough, had we not had to wear hairnets and white smocks that made us look more like a middle-aged lunch lady than we ever wanted to. Miyako was never the type to wallow in self-pity. She ignored the looks of sympathy other girls gave us and found pleasure in the odd slurp sound the food made when hitting the trays. Soon, it became a competition of who could create the best squelch, testing out different flinging techniques until we were satisfied. By then end of lunch period, our smocks were littered with oil stain, and our cheeks were sore from smiling.

Miyako channeled her inner lunch lady food-flinging abilities as she practically pushed innocent bystanders out of her way. God help those who stood between Miyako and, well, whatever it was that she wanted. Her ponytail navigated through the crowd, giving me no choice but to follow. Her legs lead us to a slushie cart, manned by a woman who was all smiles and sticky syrup. It might not have been solid food, but I wouldn’t deny myself a sugar high.

A small line had already formed, several children tugging on their parents’ sleeves. My bathing suit clung to my skin uncomfortably. I tried to shift in place, but the air was thick with heat. Aside from seeing my childhood crush half-naked, waking up early hadn’t been the best idea. The sun was high in the sky, my morning shadow disappearing.

The line moved quickly, and before long, the pair of us stood at the front, pondering our choices. Finger resting on her lip in faux-concentration, Miyako made a show of deciding on a flavor “Could I have a mix of wild cherry and blue raspberry, please?”

“Why pretend to chose when you get the same thing every time?” As a woman of few pleasures, I found a great joy in calling Miyako out. Her flush of embarrassment was a rare sight. Turning towards the employee, I order the first flavor to have ‘strawberry’ in its name.

A few minutes later, we found ourselves walking along the shoreline. The waves lapped at our bare feet and we slurped on our slushies, rambling on about anything that came to mind.

“You know,” I said, disrupting the natural lull of conversation, “The last time I drank a slushie like this was before I even met you.”

By now, Miyako’s slushie had melted into a dark purple, the last remnants of red dye staining her lips. “But slushies are, like, a summer staple. What’s up with that?”

I twirled my straw around, savoring the last bits of pink ice that had collected on the bottom of my cup. “Well, my brother would probably make fun of me. He already gives me a hard-enough time about my ice cream addiction; he says sweet things are for children.” Switching voices, I lowered my pitch and curled my arms, much like an ape would at the zoo. In a horrible attempt at mocking my brother, I continued, “ ‘Hikari, sweets bad, protein good. Eat more meat.’”

I took a few more steps before I realized she was no longer beside me. Turning around, I barely had time to register the shocked look on her features before she cried out: “Slushies are not just for kids! Fuck him!” Apparently, my friend took summer treats very seriously.

If her passionate outburst hadn’t of attracted attention, her colorful language sure did. Quickly, I grabbed her arm, hastily pulling her towards our belongings. Embarrassment colored my cheeks as I attempted to dodge the gazes of judgmental bystanders. “Miyako, you can’t just say things like that,” I whispered to her, clenched teeth giving my tone a pinched quality.

“C’mon,” I thrusted her towel into her arms, “let’s get out of here before we get kicked out.”

Pulling on her shorts, she cast me a sideways glance. “I’m sorry, Hika, I didn’t mean to upset you.”

Sighing, I held both of her hands between mine. “You said what you did because you care about me, and I can’t fault you for that.” I gathered up the rest of my own belongings before continuing. “Besides, you forgot to feed me today. I’m thinking we get some McDonald’s. Your treat?”

She laughed, hands now busying themselves with her shirt. “Isn’t McDonald’s for kids?”

Tossing my purse over my shoulder, I turned around and winked. “Fuck society.”

Going through questions:

Nitroblue tetrazolium testing is used for diagnosis of Chronic Granulomatous Disease (CGD). Normally, neutrophils will turn blue on nitroblue tetrazolium testing because of the respiratory burst in phagolysosomes, but there is no blue color change in CGD because there is no production of oxidative species. CGD is due to an X-linked Recessive NADPH oxidase mutation. NADPH oxidase catalyzes production of reactive oxygen species, which kill bacteria. NADPH also catalyzes activation of granule proteases, like elastase, in phagosomes. Mutation of NADPH oxidase gene-> deficient NADPH oxidase-> neutrophils and macrophages can't kill bacteria that they phagocytose. This leaves pts susceptible to recurrent fungal and bacterial infections, especially catalase + bugs (staph aureus, serratia marcenscens, aspergillus, burkholderia cepacia, and nocardia). The skin, lungs, liver, and lymph nodes are often infected in these pts. For diagnosis of CGD, you want to measure neutrophil superoxide production with either the Nitroblue Tetrazolium (NBT) test or with flow cytometry using dihydrorhodamine (DHR). The DHR test is better.

IL-12 presented to naive helper T cells by macrophages causes naive helper T cells to differentiate into Th1 cells, which release IFN-gamma; IFN-gamma activates cytotoxic CD8+ T cells and macrophages to kill intracellular pathogens. Mycobacterium is an intracellular pathogen that is killed this way. People with IL-12 deficiency can't mount a cell-mediated immune response and are susceptible to mycobacterium infection. Interferon gamma is given to treat these pts.

In OnlineMedEd, Dustyn said that in graft vs host disease, the lymphocytes in the donor tissue trigger the recipient to make antibodies against the recipient. In this question I just answered, it says that T lymphs in the donated organ are sensitized to the recipient's MHC Ag and then they attack the host's tissues. Donor T cells from the donated organ go into the host's tissues, become sensitized to the host's MHC antigens, and then the donor CD4+ and CD8+ T cells destroy host cells. The GI tract, the skin, and the liver are usually affected. The pt can get a rash that includes the palms and soles.

IL-2 is made by CD4+ helper T cells and activates more CD4+ helper T cells, cytotoxic CD8+ T cells, Natural Killer cells, monocytes, and B cells. T cells and natural killer cells activated by IL-2 kill renal cancer and metastatic melanoma. I posted a picture showing how immumosuppressants work. So IL-2 causes activation of macrophages and NK cells, proliferation and differentiation of helper T cells, growth and secretion of IFN-gamma from T cells, and proliferation of B cells.

Macrophages, B cells, dentritic cells = Antigen-Presenting Cells (APCs); they have MHC Class II, which they use to present angtigens to CD4+ helper T cells.

Type IV (T cell-mediated/delayed type) HSR = T lymphs release cytokines that cause induration 24-48 hours after exposure to the Ag. So cytokines, CD8+ T cells, and macrophages cause the type IV HSR. Poison ivy is a type IV HSR.

Poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac make urushiol, which attaches to proteins (haptenization)-> T-cell mediated immune response. CD8+ T cells destroy keratinocytes with the haptenated proteins.

Accumulation of ADA-> destruction of lymphocytes. Adenosine is converted to inosine by adenosine deaminase (ADA). ADA also catalyzes the conversion of deoxyadenosine to deoxyinosine. If ADA is absent, then deoxyadenosine is converted to dATP and that causes lymphocyte apoptosis. Hairy cell leukemia is a lymphocyte cancer, which can be treated with ADA inhibitor (cladribine). ADA deficiency also causes SCID, which is lack of B and T cells.

Hib vaccine is made with the polysaccharide capsule of Hib conjugated to tetanus toxoid carrier protein (or N. meningitidis outer membrane protein). The protein conjugation elicits T cell mediated immune response-> B cell activation-> memory B cells, which causes long term immunity. The capsule isn't effective at eliciting the T cell response in pts younger than 2 years old because their humoral immunity is underdeveloped. So conjugating the capsule polysaccharide to a protein increases the humoral response against the capsule via T cell activation. T cells-> B cell stimulation-> memory B cells.

Steroids cause neutrophil count to increase because it prevents them from marginating (lining up against the walls of blood vessels). Steroids can cause hypomania and psychosis. Steroids decrease basophils, eosinophils, lymphs, and monocytes.

Mycophenolate inhibits IMPDH, which prevents conversion of inosine monophosphate to guanosine monophosphate. This prevents DNA and RNA synthesis in lymphs. Mycophenolate is used to prevent transplant rejection.

Eosinophils release major basic protein, which causes the induration that occurs 2 to 10 hours after exposure to an allergen. It's responsible for the late phase of a dermatologic type I HSR and is IgE-mediated. Major basic protein damages tissue. Wheal and flare is the early phase of a type I HSR in the skin. The late phase induration of the skin is due to release of major basic protein from eosinophils. Contrast this with type IV HSR, which is T cell-mediated and takes days, rather than hours, to develop.

Classical complement pathway starts with C1 binding to 2 IgGs or 2 IgMs. C1 binds Fc region of heavy chain near the hinge point. After IgM binds to an antigen, the C1 binding site is revealed and C1 can bind to it, activating complement.

There are more steps in WBCs leaving the vessels to get to the cytokines than what he mentioned in OnlineMedEd. The steps of inflammation are: margination, rolling, activation, tight adhesion and crawling, and transmigration. He grouped it differently in the video. Rolling is when the neutrophil slows down via interaction of its sialylated carbohydrate groups with selectins on endothelial cells. For example, sialyl Lewis X or PSGL-1 on neutrophils with selectins on endothelial cells. Then integrins on the endothelial surface (ICAM-1) stop the WBCs. In the tight adhesion and crawling phase of inflammation, CD18 beta 3 integrins on neutrophils bind to ICAM on endothelial cells. Then PECAM lets neutrophils slide through the spaces between the blood vessel wall cells during transmigration. Leukocyte adhesion deficiencies (LADs) prevent leukocytes from migrating from the blood to the site of cytokine release. LAD type 1 = no CD18-> no beta 2 intergins-> skin infections with no pus and delayed separation of umbilical cord.

C1 inhibitor deficiency leads to cleavage of C2 and C4-> excessive activation of complement system; also causes angioedema and GI symptoms.

Hemolytic Disease of the Fetus and Newborn (HDFN) occurs when the mom has type O blood and thus makes IgG against type A and B blood. If this mom's baby has type A, B, or AB blood, her IgG can diffuse across the placenta and cause hemolysis in the baby. But moms with type A or B blood make IgM antibodies (anti-B if the mom has type A blood; anti-A if the mom has type B blood), which can't cross the placenta, and thus don't cause hemolysis in the newborn. In contrast to Rh disease, HDFN can occur during the first pregnancy because the mom makes anti-B and anti-A IgGs in response to similar antigens that are encountered early in life.

LE LINCEUL DE TURIN

Depuis de longues années, votre serviteur a une grande Foi en l’authenticité du Linceul de Turin. Relique sacrée à mes yeux, car je vous confirme haut et fort que c’est bien le Linge mortuaire qui a servi à envelopper le Corps du Christ ! Grâce à Dieu, votre serviteur a été inspiré d’organiser trois pèlerinages à l’occasion de l’ostension du Linceul à Turin en 1998 et l’an 2000. C’est une grâce immense et exceptionnelle qui m’a été donnée, car j’ai pu voir de près cette impressionnante Relique de quatre mètres trente-six de long. La gr��ce a aussi été dans le fait que jamais le Linceul a eu droit à une ostension aussi rapprochée. En effet, c’est en général tous les vingt ans que nous avons l’honneur de pouvoir nous recueillir devant cette sainte Relique et durant trois minutes seulement ! C’est Jean-Paul II qui avait demandé et obtenu une ostension exceptionnelle à l’occasion du Jubilé. Comme à chaque fois, une foule immense de tous les pays a fait honneur au Linceul du Christ. Cela m’a fait chaud au cœur de voir les millions de personnes ferventes, heureuses de se rendre à ce rendez-vous unique. En effet, il faut avoir approché de près cette sainte Relique pour savoir ce que nous pouvons ressentir. Personnellement, j’avoue avoir été particulièrement ému et ai ressenti dans toutes les fibres de mon corps toute la souffrance de la Passion…

D’où le chant que votre serviteur a composé sous inspiration spirituelle et qui relate avec intensité mes sensations particulières face au Linceul du Christ. Ce chant, d’une durée de six minutes, a été écrit et composé en vingt minutes seulement sous la dictée de l’Esprit-Saint. Afin de prouver que ce chant a été directement inspiré de l’Esprit de Dieu, votre serviteur vous offre le clip vidéo ci-joint en fin de ce dossier. Du fait que je ne peux faire payer à quiconque les Informations venant de Dieu (« Vous avez reçu gratuitement, donnez gratuitement. »), je donne donc ce DVD que vous pourrez visionner par le biais de votre lecteur de salon, ou sur un ordinateur. Si vous n’avez pas de platine DVD, il est possible d’écouter seulement le chant sur un simple lecteur de CD. Cette réalisation et le don de cette œuvre sont pour la seule gloire de Dieu. Aussi je vous demande d’en avoir le plus grand respect et de bien vous imprégner des Paroles, dont vous pouvez vous servir comme support d’évangélisation ou de méditation.

Le Linceul de Turin a été controversé et à tort ! Ceci a été volontaire et prémédité par Satan afin de semer la confusion dans les esprits, y compris de l’Église. Quelques scientifiques manipulés par le Diable ne se rendent même pas compte que les arguments qu’ils soutiennent sont absurdes, car totalement irrecevables. Nous autres, par la grâce de l’Esprit-Saint, savons que ce Linge sacré est bien celui qui a contenu le corps du Christ et, par notre Foi intense, n’avons nullement besoin de preuves fallacieuses nous démontrant l’indémontrable. Néanmoins, afin de contenter tous les lecteurs de ce dossier ( et cela ne va pas être facile ! ), je vais utiliser les mêmes propos stupides tenus par les détracteurs du Linceul afin de les confondre. Voici donc ce que ces personnages « savants » – heureusement minoritaires – en disent de cette Relique :

1- « Le "Suaire" de Turin, ayant été daté en 1988 par le carbone 14 en ressort qu’il a été fabriqué environ à la fin du treizième ou début du quatorzième siècle. » 2- « Nous n’avons pas trouvé de pigments de peinture, ce qui ne signifie pas qu’il n’y en a pas, en revanche, tout porte à montrer que l’apparition des traces laissées sur le "Suaire" est bien de nature photographique. » 3- « Nous en concluons donc que le "Suaire" de Turin est faux et que son ingénieux faussaire se nomme Léonard de Vinci. »

Bien entendu votre serviteur abrège ces énoncés invraisemblables, parce que je n’ai pas de temps à perdre à m’étendre inutilement dans la profusion cafouilleuse de leurs inepties. D’autant que, pour ceux qui possèdent la science de la Vérité, ces « savants » manipulés par le Diable se ridiculisent eux-mêmes. Toutefois, pour les gens moyennement cultivés et se posant des questions sur le sujet, ils sont odieusement trompés par ces personnages sans scrupule remplis de vanité. Maintenant et afin de remettre les pendules à l’heure, je vais humblement démanteler toutes les objections de ces « scientifiques » pédants…

- Le « Suaire » est impropre pour parler du Linceul de Turin. Le mot « suaire » provient du latin « sudarium » qui signifie : « sueur ». Le suaire était utilisé par les Hébreux, selon la tradition, afin d’entourer la tête des morts avant de les placer dans les tombeaux. Ce linge n’avait pas pour seule fonction d’éponger la sueur et le sang, mais aussi d’apporter une pression sous le menton afin d’empêcher la bouche du mort de s’ouvrir. A cet effet, il arrivait parfois en plus qu’une mentonnière était fixée. Déjà, il résulte une grave ignorance de la part de ces dit « scientifiques » à ce sujet… Tandis que le Linceul est le drap mortuaire qui a enveloppé entièrement le corps nu du Seigneur. Quant au Suaire du Christ, il a été placé comme il se doit aussitôt la descente de la croix et le corps a été transporté avec ce tissus entourant la tête de Jésus jusqu’au sépulcre. Ensuite le Suaire a été retiré, puis laissé de côté et Jésus a été déposé dans un drap mortuaire neuf Le recouvrant complètement. Préalablement deux pièces de monnaie ont été placées sur les paupières. Puis, hâtivement, ( parce que le temps du Sabbat était arrivé et qu’il était interdit de toucher un cadavre ) trois bandelettes ont été misent provisoirement autour du Linceul, ( au niveau du cou, du thorax et au bas des jambes ) dans l’attente de revenir après la fête préparer le corps selon l’usage...

- Effectivement, en 1988, trois échantillons miniatures prélevés sur le Linceul ont été envoyés dans trois laboratoires différents ( Tucson, Oxford et Zurich ) à des fins d’expertises par le biais du carbone 14. Les résultats des rapports approximatifs disent que : « ce linge a été fabriqué entre 1260 et 1390 », certes, mais est-ce que cela est suffisant pour apporter une preuve formelle de datation ? D’autant que les laboratoires en question avaient sur le rapport un siècle environ de décalage et cela me paraît déjà une grosse lacune, mais personne n’en a fait état ( sauf JeanBaptiste Rinaudo, Prêtre et physicien ). D’autre part, les cinquante milligrammes d’échantillons qui ont été prélevés proviennent du bord du Linceul, à l’endroit même où il a été maintenu par des centaines de mains lors des multiples ostentations dans les siècles passés. Ce n’est donc pas un bon choix d’avoir procédé à une étude sur de minuscules bouts de lin incrustés d’un amalgame de crasse et de bactéries. Par ailleurs, nous savons que le lin, justement à cause des facteurs polluants, est une matière extrêmement difficile à analyser et surtout au carbone 14. Puis il est utile de savoir qu’au tissage, le lin chauffe et contient forcément un apport en carbone pouvant fausser les analyses. A la rigueur, pour que l’analyse du carbone 14 soit fiable, il aurait fallu que le Linceul reste dans un coffre blindé stérilisé, à l’abri de la lumière et des particules polluants, et ce depuis les origines…

- Or, les origines du Linceul nous les connaissons fort bien. Il y a en effet des traces historiques facilement vérifiables pour ceux qui veulent s’en donner la peine. C’est le 15 août 944 ou est mentionné pour la première fois le Linceul du Christ. Il y est question de deux Linges sacrés arrivés à Constantinople, dont les preuves manuscrites sont conservées à la bibliothèque du Vatican. Le premier Linge est le Mandylion portant l’effigie du Visage du Christ. Le second Linge porte l’image entier du corps de Jésus : « Qui non par main (d’homme)… a été imprimée par les seules sueurs de l’agonie qui ont coulé comme des caillots de sang, ce sont elles qui ont coloré l’empreinte véritable du Christ… » Puis en 1147, le Roi de France, Louis VII, vénère le Linceul aux Blachernes à Constantinople. Ensuite il y a d’autres dates connus que chacun de vous peut vérifier. Sans oublier le Codex de Pray, manuscrit Hongrois datant de 1190 et dont l’iconographie représente les mêmes concordances que le Linceul. ( Bibliothèque national de Budapest ) Mais je ne vais pas ici remplir ce dossier avec des références, alors qu’il existe bon nombres d’ouvrages sérieux sur le sujet.1 Cependant ces quelques dates prouvent incontestablement que le Linceul existait longtemps avant le 14è siècle. Mais la mauvaise foi étant, pour ceux que le Linceul du Christ dérange, ils cherchent en vain des arguments fallacieux quitte à se ridiculiser, ce qui est exactement le cas…

- N’oublions pas qu’avant les expertises au carbone 14, il y a eu des recherches très sérieuses sur le Linceul et faites par des scientifiques dignes de confiance. Il a en effet été découvert des éléments troublants : -1) en 1976 : "Présence sur le Linceul de granules de pollen provenant de plantes désertiques qui poussent en Palestine ; le pollen le plus présent sur le Linceul est identique à celui que l’on trouve le plus souvent dans les sédiments du lac de Génésareth, précisément dans les couches sédimentaires qui datent de deux mille ans ; un autre échantillon de pollen provient d’Asie Mineure, plus précisément des environs de Constantinople, et un grand nombre de granules sont d’origine française et italienne ; il est donc logique de déduire que la vie historique et géographique du Linceul correspond aux migrations qu’il a connues dans le temps selon les témoignages recueillis." ( Sindon, cahier n°23, avril 1976 ) -2) En 1981 : Le Linge contenait "du sang humain" et une "identification de traces d’aloès et de myrrhe". -3) En 1982 : "Les traces de sang du linceul que nous venons d’examiner appartiennent au groupe A B."

- Tiens donc, un groupe AB, comme c’est curieux ! Nous savons que 3% seulement de la population possède un tel groupe sanguin. D’autre part, dans la cathédrale d’Oviédo en Espagne est situé le véritable Suaire ( transporté depuis Jérusalem au début du VIIè siècle ) et qui a servi pour la mise au tombeau du Christ, tel que j’en ai fait mention plus haut. Or ce Suaire, après analyse du sang, est également du groupe AB ! Par ailleurs nous avons aussi comme référence le Miracle de Lanciano. Pour les personnes n’ayant pas eu connaissance de ce miracle, je résume qu’il s’agit d’un phénomène réel qui s’est produit à Lanciano en Italie au VIIIè siècle. C’est l’histoire authentique d’un moine qui avait perdu la Foi en la transsubstantiation et, durant la sainte consécration eucharistique, l’Hostie s’est vraiment changée en muscle cardiaque et le Vin en sang.2 Or le sang a été analysé et il se trouve qu’il est aussi du groupe AB !

- Précisons au passage, lors des analyses microscopiques approfondies, qu’il n’a été décelé aucune trace picturale, ni de sels argentiques. Il est donc totalement exclu que cette emprunte soit l’œuvre d’un peintre, ou d’un génie déjà expert en photographie… au quatorzième siècle ? Je vous précise pareillement qu’en 1993 a eu lieu à Rome un symposium scientifique international pris à l’initiative du C.I.E.L.T ( Centre International d’Études sur le Linceul de Turin ). Etait présent à ce symposium 57 savants internationaux et je donne ici un extrait des conclusions de cet acte officiel : « Le Linceul de Turin est bien l’authentique Linceul de Jésus de Nazareth, personnage historique mort vers l’an 30 de notre ère. »3 A partir de 1970, la NASA, et en 1980 des chercheurs italiens, puis en 1994 des chercheurs du CNRS se sont penchés sur les photographies exceptionnelles du Linceul. Ces photographies ont été analysées en détail par le biais du matériel informatique et les découvertes ont été particulièrement intéressantes. A savoir : Visage en trois dimension ( difficile à réaliser avec nos moyens actuels ), ne possédant « aucune direction privilégiée », et des écritures anciennes grecques. Ces inscriptions traduites en français révèlent : « Jésus, Nazaréen, à la mort tu iras ».

- En 1979, à l’université Loyola de Chicago il a été découvert sur la paupière droite de la Sainte Face l’empreinte d’une pièce de monnaie : un dilepton lituus, frappé par Ponce Pilate à la fin de l’année 29. En 1996, il a été découvert sur l’arcade sourcilière gauche la trace d’une autre pièce de monnaie identifiée comme : lepton simpulum, frappée elle aussi par Ponce Pilate en l’an 29 de l’ère chrétienne. Il était en effet de coutume chez les Juifs de placer une pièce de monnaie sur les paupières des morts afin qu’elles restent closes. Grâce à d’autres recherches en ce sens, par le biais des technologies de pointe, il a été possible de vérifier que c’est bien une lance romaine qui a perforé la cage thoracique de JésusChrist sur la droite, et que le coup a été effectivement porté après la mort du Seigneur sur la croix.

- Enfin pour terminer sur les éléments clés qui font tomber un à un les arguments non fondés des quelques détracteurs stupides, il en revient à l’historienne suisse du textile et conservatrice : Mme Mechthild Flury-Lemberg – qui a travaillé « en secret » sur la restauration du Linceul en 2002 – d’apporter sa remarque pertinente. Elle nous dit : « Il existe une ligne tissée sur le Linceul, comme vous pouvez le voir cette ligne est extrêmement bien faite. On a retrouvé des traces de ce type de points dans la ruine de la forteresse de Massada, ( au bord de la mer Morte ). Tout ce qui concerne la toile à proprement parlé, montre qu’il s’agissait d’une pièce très précieuse. On sait que le tissu de Massada date de l’époque du Christ et qu’il est de la même facture. Ce type de tissage n’a jamais été retrouvé dans l’Europe du moyen-âge. La toile de Massada remonte à l’an 7 après Jésus-Christ, et on peut y voir ce point particulier. Les deux toiles ne sont pas comparables, mais c’est ce point qui est le même. Ce procédé était donc connu. Ce point n’est visible que d’un côté. De ce côté-ci c’est lisse et de l’autre on voit ce petit point délicat, qui est réalisé de façon très méticuleuse. Il savait ce qu’il faisait. C’est un travail de professionnel. Je ne crois pas à la datation au carbone 14. Il y a trop d’indices qui indiquent que cette pièce remonte au premier siècle de notre ère. » ( Emission sur France 5 « Le Saint Suaire : La fin d’un mystère », du samedi 13 novembre 2004 ).

- La conclusion qui s’impose en la matière est d’abord de préciser qu’il s’agit bien d’une « projection » photographique, mais non faite par un homme, puisqu’il y a absence d’argent sur le Linceul. Et s’il devait y en avoir un peu, se serait à cause du frottement du tissu qui se serait produit dans le reliquaire en argent datant du XVIè siècle où était entreposé le Linceul. Dans ce cas, la quantité serait infinitésimale, donc trop insuffisante pour prouver qu’elle ait servi de révélateur pour former une contre-façon...

Pour démontrer certaines absurdités et entrer dans le jeu des détracteurs, si vraiment ce Linge d’exception était l’œuvre d’une reproduction photographique de la part d’un grand « génie » tel que Léonard de Vinci, il aurait fallu qu’il : 1)- Installe dans une chambre noir une toile de Hollande de 436 centimètres de long sur 110 centimètres de large parfaitement droite, ou pliée en deux. 2)- Badigeonne cette toile avec du sel d’argent. 3)- Fasse un petit trou dans un mur afin d’y placer une lentille en cristal. 4)- Etudie avec grande précision les Évangiles. ( Bien que l’emprunte laissée par le Christ sur le Linceul montre une crucifixion dans les poignets et non dans les paumes des mains comme on a l’habitude de voir dans les œuvres picturales traditionnelles. ) 5)- Trouve un homme bien proportionné de 178 cms,1 avec des cheveux très longs et tressés à l’arrière. ( Un homme vivant bien sûr, car des crucifiés romains il en existait plus depuis le VIIè siècle. Or seul Jésus a été crucifié de cette façon particulière qui Lui est propre, voulu justement pour que la souffrance soit à son comble et que l’on puisse authentifier le Linceul. ) 6)- Fasse subir à cet homme durant des heures les odieuses souffrances de la Passion du Christ, à savoir : a) des coups extrêmement violents portés au visage et sur le corps ; une flagellation de 122 coups déchiquetant un corps nu avec un fouet romain ( flagrum romanum ) reconstitué avec des osselets en plomb au bout de deux lanières courtes en cuir attenant au manche ; b) tresse une couronne d’épines de jujubier ( ziziphus spina-christi ) et l’enfonce brutalement sur la tête de sa victime ( consentante bien sûr pour le plaisir ! ). Lui fasse porter sur les épaules un patibulum ,( barre transversale d’une trentaine de kilos ) sur un important trajet, sans oublier de le faire chuter pour montrer sur sa future « œuvre » des genoux tuméfiés, ( ça fait plus vrai ! ) ; c) le crucifie premièrement en lui plantant des clous au sol sur le patibulum, le monte à force de bras sur une poutre bien droite et après avoir disposé le pied gauche sur le pied droit, plante un gros clou directement sur le pieu de la croix. d) Et enfin laisse la victime dans cette position durant des heures interminables ( Oui, la représentation de l’empreinte laissée sur le Linceul montre que Jésus à souffert plusieurs heures en se vidant lentement de Son Sang. ) e) Donne un coup ultime sur le flan droit en perforant la cage thoracique de ce pauvre homme, avec une lance d’époque romaine antique ! 7)- A descendu sa victime au sol ( toujours à bout de bras ? ), lui a posé sur les yeux des pièces de monnaie frappées sous Ponce Pilate. 8)- A pendu son cadavre à une certaine distance du trou optique, d’abord de face pendant au moins 8 heures. 9)- Entre dans la chambre noir pour retourner la toile et ensuite à l’extérieur pour retourner le cadavre afin que celui-ci soit pris de dos, encore 8 heures. 10)- Enterre son cadavre qui devait sentir mauvais après quelque 24 heures ( au soleil ? ) et revienne faire tremper son faux linceul dans le bain révélateur…

Mon Dieu, quel scénario ! Et surtout quel imagination de la part de quelques hommes se prétendant « scientifiques » ! Nous voyons nous-même qu’une telle fiction est totalement irréalisable, même avec un « génie » de la trempe de Léonard de Vinci. Il est clair que ces personnages manipulés par le Diable brassent beaucoup d’air pour nous démontrer l’absurde. Avec les quelques informations émises par d’autres scientifiques sérieux, que votre serviteur a glanées et notifiées ici, il est évident que la notion même de « fausse relique » ne s’applique pas au Linceul de Turin . Certes, au moyen-âge, les faussaires de reliques étaient nombreux, car c’était un marché lucratif pour ces escrocs sans scrupule qui profitaient de la naïveté des pèlerins. Mais justement, grâce à notre technologie, nous pouvons aujourd’hui aisément démontrer si une relique est authentique ou non. Quant au carbone 14, non pas que je critique ce moyen de dater un objet ancien, mais il ne convient pas toujours lorsqu’il s’agit d’analyser une pièce d’étoffe et plus particulièrement du lin contaminé par des milliards de micro-organismes. N’oublions pas non plus que le Linceul de Turin a été victime d’un incendie à la Chapelle de Chambéry la nuit du 2 au 3 décembre 1532. Le Linceul a été sauvé de justesse et réparé grossièrement avec des rajouts de pièces de lin par les Clarisses du lieu. Néanmoins, il est utile de savoir que le Linceul a reçu un apport considérable en isotopes, ce qui est également un facteur pouvant fausser les donnés du carbone 14. Sans oublier évidemment le « flash » de la Résurrection du Christ qui est encore un élément à prendre en compte. Lorsqu’on fait une analyse d’une Relique d’une aussi grande importance qu’est le Linceul de notre Seigneur, il ne faut négliger aucun paramètre et étudier cette pièce unique avec sérieux et minutie. Ce qui ne semble pas du tout avoir été le cas pour ces laboratoires qui, apparemment, auraient été victimes de problèmes techniques et humains…

Bref, votre serviteur n’avait nullement besoin de tout ce remue ménage pour savoir que le Linceul de Turin est bien le Linge mortuaire du Christ. La Foi ne se mesure pas avec des données scientifiques tellement humaines et subjectives. La Foi ne se discute pas, soit on y croit, soit on y croit pas, point final. Maintenant et pour clore définitivement ce débat inutile, je vais ci-dessous vous écrire textuellement ce que Jésus m’a dit au sujet de Son Saint Linceul, par Son Esprit, et après Lui avoir posé la question :

« Oui, le Linceul de Turin est bien le Linge dans lequel a été déposé Mon Corps meurtri. J’ai laissé Mon empreinte au moment de Ma Résurrection afin de montrer aux hommes l’horrible souffrance de Ma Passion. C’est à la fin des temps qu’il fallait que Ma Face et Mon Corps apparaissent nettement pour aider tous les hommes à supporter, dans la Foi, les événements qui viennent avant Ma Parousie. J’ai voulu qu’il en soit ainsi pour Ma gloire et le salut des âmes. »

Pourquoi le Linceul de Turin fait-il autant l’objet de polémiques, surtout par des hommes qui n’ont même pas peur de se ridiculiser aux yeux de tous ? Tout simplement parce que ce Linge mortuaire sacré prouve incontestablement la Résurrection de notre Seigneur, donc la preuve officielle qu’Il est bien le Fils de Dieu ! Ce point fondamental gêne d’abord les Juifs qui ne croient ni en la Résurrection de Jésus-Christ ni en Sa Divinité. Idem pour les musulmans, à cause de la phrase du Coran que j’ai déjà citée plus avant et qui nie non seulement la Résurrection de Jésus, mais Sa Crucifixion. Alors évidemment, si tous les scientifiques du monde entier devaient avouer unanimement que le Linceul de Turin est bien le Linge mortuaire de « Jésus de Nazareth », comme l’affirme les Actes du Symposium de Rome, cela ferait désordre dans les religions opposées ! De toute évidence la franc-maçonnerie qui, comme nous le savons est d’origine juive, n’a pas du tout intérêt à ce que la Vérité se sache. Voilà pourquoi le Linceul a été victime de deux incendies. L’un à Chambéry en 1532 et l’autre dans la nuit du 11 au 12 avril 1997 à Turin, dans la chapelle où était entreposé le Linceul à l’intérieur d’une châsse en verre blindé. Pour ce dernier incendie, les autorités ont conclu à un « accident » survenu dans la cuisine à la suite d’une réception. Votre serviteur sait qu’il n’en est rien et ce prétendu « accident » a été en réalité provoqué par l’un des convives… Bref, tout a été dit, et je ne vois pas l’utilité d’ajouter autre chose sur le sujet. Ceci est une affaire de conscience dans l’Esprit-Saint… A propos, l’Esprit-Saint n’a pas voulu, sans doute, convaincre un bon nombre de Prélats catholiques, puisque ceux-ci n’ont pas encore pris une position ferme quant à l’authenticité du Linceul de notre Seigneur. Seul Jean-Paul II savait, mais il s’est tu par respect de son entourage pas toujours en accord avec le Saint Pontife. Il est vrai que l’Église ( des hommes ) a toujours eu peur du ridicule. D’où la « prudence » observée concernant le Linceul. Mais à ce point, c’est un aveuglement caractérisé, pour ne pas dire… maladif !

Au moment où j’ai écrit ces dernières lignes, Jean-Paul II vient de nous quitter ce samedi 2 avril 2005 à 21 h 37. Comme votre serviteur l’avait prévu cela tombe au moment du temps pascal ( "fête importante pour l’Église" ) et justement au début du mois d’avril, tout comme la mort de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ. Le décès prévisible de Jean-Paul II me fait une peine incommensurable. Non pas à cause de sa disparition en elle-même, puisque je sais que ce Pape de la Paix est à présent auprès de Dieu, mais à cause de ce qui va arriver demain à notre pauvre monde. Tant que cet homme particulier était en vie, rien de très grave ne pouvait survenir, mais maintenant il faut s’attendre au pire...

Je rappelle que le prochain Pape sera : italien, progressiste franc-maçon et rejeté par le SacréCœur de Jésus.1 Il aura un règne assez court, car il sera obligé de fuir le Vatican assiégé par les musulmans et les Russes. Il sera égorgé, avec d’autres Prélats, devant une grande croix. Préalablement il aura à faire à l’éclatement d’une guerre civile en Italie. Ce Pape sera un réformateur défendant des idées libérales diamétralement opposées aux principes conservateurs et rigoureux de Jean-Paul II. Ce nouveau Pape sera conseillé par l’esprit du Démon et ses réformes seront une abomination à la Face de Dieu. C’est pourquoi il chutera et entraînera avec lui la majeure partie de l’Église catholique. Certes Jean-Paul II n’était pas absolument parfait, ( comme chacun d’entre-nous ) mais il bénéficiait de l’appui du Sacré-Cœur de Jésus Miséricordieux et de la haute protection du Cœur Immaculé de la Sainte Vierge Marie. Ce qui ne sera pas du tout le cas pour ce prochain Pape. Alors restons sur nos gardes et prions intensément, parce que c’est maintenant que va venir la chute de cette Église catholique, en attendant l’arrivée de la future Église de Lumière Universelle du Sacré-Cœur sous la domination de « Pierre II »…

Ne croyez surtout pas que je prenne plaisir à écrire toutes ces Révélations ou Prophéties. C’est tout le contraire, mon cœur est dans une souffrance inexprimable. Deux sentiments ambivalents existent dans mon esprit : le premier est cette peine immense que je ressens pour mon Église catholique, mais aussi la déchéance du monde dans lequel je vis. Le second est de la joie, grâce à cette projection dans le temps permise par Dieu, afin de me permettre d’avoir une vision globale de la suite heureuse des événements à-venir. J’éprouve beaucoup d’Amour pour l’Église du Christ, mais cet Amour se traduit en peine pour les hommes responsables de cette Communauté catholique. Comment peuvent-ils rester sourds et aveugles aux Appels récents de notre Seigneur ? Comment ont-ils faits pour laisser entrer la franc-maçonnerie au Vatican ?

Je porte ici à votre connaissance que votre serviteur a sollicité audience auprès de Jean-Paul II, afin de lui remettre en mains propres quelque quatre milles signatures qui sont toujours à ma disposition, concernant l’élévation de la Croix Glorieuse à Dozulé par l’Église catholique. J’ai réitérer cinq fois mes demandes en ce sens, entre l’an 2000 et 2002, et mes missives sont restées lettres mortes. Avant ces pétitions prises de ma propre initiative, d’autres associations défendant les Messages de Dozulé ont aussi envoyé des milliers de signatures à Jean-Paul II et puis rien...

Je comprends fort bien que parmi les centaines de lettres du monde entier que reçois un Pape par jour, il y a « filtration » par quelques secrétaires délégués à cette tâche et que seul le courrier « important » arrive à son destinataire. Mais dites-moi, qu’est-ce qui est plus important que d’obéir aux demandes incessantes du Christ ? Qu’est-ce qui est plus important que de sauver des âmes de la perdition ? En effet, du fait que l’élévation de la Croix Glorieuse par l’Église devait permettre à la fois de sauver toutes les âmes et d’apporter la Paix sur la Terre, cette désobéissance flagrante ne restera pas sans effet… Nous avons la preuve ici que Jean-Paul II est entouré de personnages rejetant l’Esprit-Saint. Jean-Paul II connaissait l’authenticité des Messages de Dozulé, comme je vous l’ai écrit plus avant, mais n’était-il pas prisonnier de son entourage ? Personnellement je crois que tout ne lui était pas permis, et ce pape d’exception devait être très malheureux. Les apparences sont trompeuses pour tout le monde, et cela vaut aussi pour le Vatican. Si nous devions avoir l’autorisation d’accéder à tous les livres du Vatican, y compris les plus secrets, nous apprendrions bien des choses et certainement pas très honorables…

Après cette parenthèse ouverte au moment du décès de Jean-Paul II, qui m’afflige énormément, votre serviteur retourne à présent aux 6 heures du Crucifié, faisant suite à l’authenticité du Linceul de Turin…
