Aaaaaaand we’re back! Shoutout to @lunar-rainclouds for being the sweetest person ever ❤️ hope you enjoy the next instalment of Roomba AU :)
Waterworks
The holidays don’t go smoothly…
Word Count: 2100
Gentle paws kneaded the blanket as Petra scritched Nigel under the chin, the black cat emitting a steady purr. Her other hand rested on the large swell of her stomach as the baby kicked and wiggled. Fairy lights twinkled on the Christmas tree as the tv droned in the background, reruns of an old sitcom lost to her as bliss enveloped her on the sofa.
Levi brought the steaming mug in from the kitchen. He gazed for a moment at his wife as she doted over the beloved pet, the very picture of maternal bliss. He allowed the tiniest smile to form on his lips as he watched the scene from the doorway. Not long now. Nigel met Levi’s eyes from his spot on his favourite human.
The cat hadn’t left Petra alone since the early weeks of her pregnancy. Everywhere Petra went, the feline followed. If she sat down, he was there head butting at her stomach. When she lay down to sleep the cat was close to follow, kneading at the blankets covering her midsection. As she’d progressed through the months and watched her feet disappear, Petra had nearly tripped over the cat an alarming number of times, much to Levi’s distress.
“Damn animal’s obsessed with you”, Levi mumbled padding into the room as Petra sat fussing Nigel’s ears.
“He’s just excited to meet his new sibling, aren’t you my little bread loaf?” Nigel shot Levi a triumphant look as he curled his tail round, nestling further into the knitted blanket draped over Petra’s stomach. “Hey maybe he’s kneading at me so much coz he knows I’ve got a bun in the oven? Eh, geddit?”
Levi rolled his eyes. He could hardly talk though. Since Petra had announced her pregnancy, Levi had doted on her. It had revealed his most tender side; rubbing her back during the bouts of morning sickness (which Levi grimly found out weren’t just a morning thing), putting lotion on her stretch marks, massaging her feet when they got sore. Turns out her only major craving had been carrots, but Levi made sure to keep a good stock in the fridge.
The first scan, he was woe to admit, he nearly cried at. Seeing their baby for the first time on the fuzzy ultrasound screen and hearing the sound of its heartbeat opened up a part of his heart he hadn’t been introduced to until that moment.
Sure he was nervous. Not having a father figure in their life would affect any new dad - and no, Kenny didn’t count. But he’d had a strong as hell mother to raise him to be the man he was this present day. He was determined to raise his own kid giving it all the love his mom had poured into his upbringing without the worries over basic shit like he’d had growing up.
Petra eagerly accepted the herbal tea off her husband, “Thanks, I think I overdid it earlier”
Levi gave her a chastising look, “You’re supposed to rest until the brat makes an appearance. Doctor’s orders”
“The baby’s due in just over a week, I think I’m past the point of going into premature labour sweetie”
Levi grumbled under his breath as he settled onto the couch next to her.
***
Since being condemned to bed rest a month ago, Petra has gone into full on nesting mode. More than once Levi had come home to a completely reorganised apartment, the contents of cupboards spilled out across their home as Petra frantically rearranged and re-sorted their belongings. “It just didn’t feel right - I just reorganised a few things!”, Levi stared in exasperation at the now completely re-stacked bookshelf and empty bottles of windex littering the living room. He decided to ignore the rickety ass stepladder propped up against the wall.
“Tch, definitely my kid”
***
They cuddled on the sofa as the rain continued tapping the windows. Spencer rolled in, sporting a small knitted hat as its brushes whirred across the laminate. Levi gave a withering look to his wife.
Petra answered with her own beaming smile, “Oh don’t look at me like that, he just wants to feel festive”
“It’s a fucking Roomba!”
Petra kissed up his jaw, “Shh, don’t shout at the pregnant person”.
____________________
The rain had continued to pour into the next morning. Levi looked out at the miserable sky with distaste before turning back to his wife in annoyance.
Petra scowled back, “Levi seriously it’s just Braxton Hicks, you need to stop fussing”
“And you need to take it easy, stop trying to move furniture!”
“It was getting dusty behind the crib!”
“That’s what the robot vacuum’s for!”. Levi stomped back into the living room.
Petra waddled after her husband, determined to prove that she wasn’t an invalid. Getting her best pout on, she was ready to unleash a month’s worth of bed ridden pregnancy hormones, but stopped when she caught Levi staring at the TV. A local news reporter channel. She watched as horror slowly spread across his face.
“-devastating scenes of Karanes trailer park this morning as flood water swept through the area leaving hundreds without power or-”
Petra gaped at the distressing scenes pictured on the television screen. She opened her mouth to say something but Levi was already rushing to the hallway, digging through the closet for some boots.
Petra shouted down the hallway, “Levi at least call her! Search and rescue might already-!”
But he was gone.
____________________
A few hours later Levi had returned, soaked to his skin but thankfully with a relatively unharmed Kuchel and a small bag of her belongings in tow.
Now the three of them sat at the kitchen table, steaming mugs of tea in hand. Levi’s foot tapped against the tiles as he prepared for the incoming argument.
Kuchel set her cup down on the coaster, “You don’t have to fuss honey, I really am fine”. He would have believed his mother if she hadn’t started sneezing immediately after. He offered her the tissue box, “Tch like hell you are, I told you that something like this would happen eventually”. He muttered darkly about ‘damn idiots building on flood plains’ as he went to refill their mugs.
Petra reached across the table to hold her mother in law’s hand, “It really wouldn’t be any trouble Kuchel, we’d love to have you and we’d definitely feel better knowing you’re safe and dry in the apartment rather than in a trailer park prone to flooding”.
“I know what you’re saying sweetheart, but I really can’t impose on you like this. You’re gonna have a little one to take care of very soon and the last thing you need is for me to be in the way”
As if to prove a point, Petra winced as the baby kicked.
Levi’s jaw tensed. He turned back to his mother.
“You’re staying here”, Kuchel opened her mouth to protest but Levi held up his hand and carried on.
“The park is flooded with no electricity and by the time it dries out it’s gonna be damp for weeks, maybe months if the heating doesn’t kick back in. You’ll get sick. You’re staying with us until I deem the trailer inhabitable for you or you find an apartment. End of discussion.”
Kuchel’s eyes softened towards her son, “Thank you sweetie, though I could always give Kenny a ring”
“You are not living with that psycho”. He pinched the bridge of his nose as he exhaled deeply, sliding back onto the wooden chair, “Just let yourself be taken care of for once, please”. Petra’s hand squeezed his knee under the table.
Petra turned to the older woman, “Look, let’s talk more about this in the morning. It’s been a tough day for everyone and the main thing is that you’re safe and dry and more than welcome to spend the holidays with us at the very least ok?”.
Kuchel smiled at her daughter in law, conceding the argument for the evening, “Only until I find an apartment”.
Three empty mugs later and one mother settled onto the pull out sofa for the night, Levi finally rolled into bed with Petra. Sleep didn’t come. His mom was incredibly caring and grateful, but stubborn. She was too used to working herself into the ground if necessary for the things she had and Levi hated it.
The alarm clock ticked its steady rhythm.
He shut his eyes and fell into restless slumber.
_____________________
The next morning, brought little resolution. Every avenue they looked into pointed to one blaring conclusion. They were gonna need a bigger boat. Or in more actualistic terms, a fucking mortgage and more square footage. Visions of sleazy estate agents trying to glaze over poorly hidden structural issues flooded Levi’s mind. Petra had spent the morning trying to soothe her husband’s nerves.
“You know it could actually be a blessing, we could find a house with a garden”. Petra stretched her back, “And it’s not as if there’s a massive amount of stuff between us all, we could always have a garage sale…minus the garage”.
Levi leant against the counter and let out a heavy sigh. It was true that they would certainly be hard pressed for space if his mother came to live with them and there was definitely going to be arguments about how stuff was done around the home. They’d have to set clear boundaries and rethink the nursery to accommodate a spare bed while they searched for a house. But the thought of having his mother go back to the ruined mobile home with no guarantee that it wouldn’t flood again made bile claw up his throat. No. His mom had had it rough raising him on her own. She’d sacrificed so much for him growing up. All the clothes she’d mended, the jobs she’d worked, the jewellery she’d pawned to make sure they always had food on the table. She’d even sold her car to help pay for his tuition to get into a good college. No way. He was not gonna send her back to some damp ass trailer no matter how much she protested. It was the least he could do.
A loud splash broke him out of his thoughts.
“Damn cat! Knocking shit over”, he groused as he grabbed the tea towel to mop up the mess.
He paused.
Something was off with the scene in front of him. He’d expected to be met with a mess on the table cloth, maybe even a chipped glass, and a startled cat. However Nigel was perched on top of the fridge, innocently cleaning his asshole. The table cloth remained intact, no stain to be seen. Petra’s empty breakfast bowl sat on the placemat ready to be washed up.
The full glass of water sat resolutely on the table.
Levi’s eyes tracked down to the puddle on the floor directly under Petra’s feet now soaking into her slippers.
He watched as his wife doubled over letting out a hiss of pain.
Oh.
Fuck.
_____________________
The next few hours seemed to happen in a millisecond and in slow motion all at once.
The drive to the hospital was a blur. Then there was the checking in and the anxious phone calls from his mother. Then the waiting. And the waiting. And the waiting…
And finally, in the late hours of Christmas Eve, Rowan Ackerman entered the world.
Levi sat in the chair next to the hospital bed as Petra slept, cradling his son. He pulled back the blanket a little as the infant squirmed, a little tuft of jet black hair sticking out. The baby yawned and tiny amber eyes gazed up at him briefly before settling back into slumber. God he couldn’t stop staring. Minute fingers curled themselves round his own as Levi readjusted the blanket (lovingly knitted by the newly appointed Grandma). The colours were a little uneven and the edges were stretched to an odd shape but it didn’t matter. ‘This way I can give my Grandbaby a hug every night’, Kuchel had told him as she handed it over at Petra’s baby shower.
Anxiety at his mother’s (and by proxy their own) living situation tried to claw its way up but found no purchase. For the first time in the last 48 hours Levi found nothing but peace staring back at him. It would all work out. Levi looked at his family and his heart filled over.
Between all the drama and happiness and hurt and surprises along the way, they would be still be here.
And Levi couldn’t be fucking happier.
END
Ackerbaby’s name is in no way a reference to any sort of big ass trees. No sir.
If you’re still following this silly little AU of mine then welcome back! Sorry for the mini hiatus but life got BUSY (much like Levi and Petra’s is about to here ha)
Thank you again for reading, you’re the best ❤️

Anime ending copium
It's over, y'all. I won't get into spoiler territory, but I think we can all agree that some parts of the anime ending were handled better than the manga, and some parts were worse. Here's a list of all the post-canon stories I've written to take the edge off the conclusion to the series.
To All of Us, From 2000 Years Ago - My canon fix-it fic. I like to believe this is how the series actually ended. Non-shipping, CW for references to rape.
To You, Twenty Years From Now - My first ever Rivamika fic! Takes place in a 1920s post-canon AU where Levi and Mikasa catch up after years apart. (Please keep in mind that I wrote this in 2014, so the story reflects what canon looked like back then.)
A Nameless Love - The cottagecore Ackerbabies future we were unjustly denied. This is actual canon if you're delulu like me.
The Razor's Edge - A short fic that also takes place in a post-canon cottagecore AU. Levi gets injured doing some repairs on his and Mikasa's home, so Mikasa helps him shave.

I’ve been wanting to make something like this for a long time. When going back through the timelines of things the biggest thing that hit me was: 145 generations IS A LONG ASS TIME!!!
Think about how many branches of Ymir’s blood have been created in that time to have filled the Walls of Paradis. The Paths tree is known to be a visualization of just how many descendants of Ymir have come to existence.
Tumblr media
And THAT ^, my friends, is the same visualization we can and should have regarding descendants of the Ackermans considering Ackermans were created during King Fritz’s lifespan during his Titan DNA experiments immediately after Ymir Fritz died/was eaten by her children. (Ackerman line began when Subjects of Ymir did!)
The Ackermans are likely more widespread than expected. It wasn’t until the 145th King Karl Fritz that they BEGAN to be persecuted. Meaning before persecution, Ackerbabies everywhere multiplying and spreading.
And guess what!? They weren’t totally killed off. It says that the remaining Ackermans, once experiencing persecution, avoided telling their children and children’s children about the world before the Walls. So generation after generation the Ackerman’s grew up without knowledge of world before walls NOR of their Ackerman/Titan DNA descent. (It was a way of making Ackerman’s ignorant to what made royalty/nobles afraid of them… just make them forget over time)
Meaning two important things:
1) There are absoluuuuutely more unknown people of Ackerman lineage around the world who simply don’t even know they have that DNA. If they didn’t know they were Ackerman’s, they wouldn’t be pursued. (I would be interested to read about someone who doesn’t turn into a Titan, only to find out they are an Ackerman!)
2) Levi and Mikasa are DEFINITELY from separate branches that are SOOOOO many generations off from each other. Literally broken off during the 145 generation gap.
We know that Mikasa’s father likely did not even know he was an Ackerman, meaning he is a product of the generations of one of the side branches who did not even learn about their ancestry or the pre-Walls history. (Again, the only branch that DID know was Kenny/Levi’s, who was the Head/main branch!) They painted Mikasa’s dad as such an ordinary human and he never had his powers awakened either.
Isayama’s lineage tree illustrates this so clearly and we’ve KNOWN THIS! Mikasa’s branch breaks off DURING THE 145 GENERATION GAP preceding Kenny’s Grandfather (Levi’s great grandfather).
Tumblr media
And AGAIN…
To reiterate it even more?
Tumblr media
Canon AoT recognizes that Mikasa and Levi merely share a name. A name that connects them generations and generations and generations ago, almost like a sub-race. Not a small family.
We also know how Isayama emphasizes the power of lineage and bloodlines in general. Come on: Subjects of Ymir! They’re all connected by Ymir and though they share maybe small % of DNA to their ancestor, that is more than enough to turn them into full Titans. Marleyans are Marleyans who hold onto ancient tales of Marley trampled by Eldia; Eldians the same. So Ackermans created by Titan DNA experiments are similar too. By only having any small amount/percentage of Titan/Ackerman DNA, does this allow them to access this inhuman Titan strength. Ackerman’s are emphasized by Isayama to be closer to something like a sub-race of Eldians, just like Subjects of Ymir are a sub-race to Eldians too.
To further clarify this?
If Levi and Mikasa were actually cousins or uncle as 99% of the fandom claims, wouldn’t they claim familial bonds with each other immediately after finding out about their shared ancestry? They both have literally lost all their family. They know they are the last of their lineage. Why didn’t Isayama portray them as family? MAYBE BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT FAMILY and they know they are simply part of the sub-race.
Ok, I’m done for now LOL. I am regurgitating all of these thoughts to make sure I can communicate it clearly to my husband when this PowerPoint happens 😂😂😂😂
LEVI AND MIKASA ARE LIKELY LESS RELATED THAN EVERYONE IN THE DAMN WALLS

Writing Ask Game
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I shared this fic writers ask game on the wrong blog so I'm answering these here with a link to this post on the blog. I really appreciate the kind words lollipop anon. Thank you for engaging with the blog.
1 - What fic of yours would you recommend to someone who had never read any of your work? (In other words, what do you think is the best introduction to your fics?)
I would want to showcase the work I think was better written and something I am fairly proud of to someone new so I think I would choose my Hearts and Crafts piece which was a request fill for both @levi-supreme and @ladycheesington. I really enjoyed writing that AU and immersing myself in the Levi x Reader autumn date. I do plan to return to that AU one day as it really filled my heart to write and I don't think the writing itself was awful.
3. What are some tropes or details that you think are very characteristic of your fics?
Emotional hurt is definitely a common theme in most of my fics, one shots or WIPs etc. I am a sucker for hurt/comfort or complicated and painful scenarios. I also tend to write a fair bit of characters biting their tongue on their own feelings rather than doing the healthy thing and expressing them.
8. What song would make a great fic (to either write or read)?
One song which I can think of, I've already kind of written for. Astronaut by Simple Plan was used as mood music for Lost and Petra's predicament within it echoes the theme of the song. But other than that, Beautiful Disaster by Kelly Clarkson would be good to write or read. Again, this is my weakness for angsty or complicatedly emotional situations.
13. Are there any tropes you used to like but don’t anymore?
I'm not a massive fan of amnesia plots and I think that is because they used to come up a fair bit in private roleplay as people I was writing with would quite like that trope. I lost some of my interest in it after that. I don't know if I could write it as I am not the most patient person and would want to write the remembering way too soon!
15. What’s your favorite AU that you’ve written?
So far the collegeLevi x Reader universe from Hearts and Crafts is easily my favourite but I have some stories coming which do have more of my heart and I've been brainstorming them for so long. Because I love them so much, I keep getting contradictory ideas and reworking the plan so me having so much love for them has actually delayed them being written, haha.
49. What are you currently working on? Share a few lines if you’re up for it!
So far the ones I'm working on aren't at the writing stage - they're still in the planning stage. I'll mention a few rather than them all because I have a ridiculous amount planned.
To Love An Ackerman - A LevixChildhoodSoulmate AU following their story from their lives in the Underground up to and including some canon events. Also features a teenage Ackerbaby eventually too. This is my biggest brain child right now.
Seven Deadly "Sins" - A series of LevixOC stories each named after a sin but each "sin" isn't quite as clear-cut of a sin as the title might imply. In some, for example, the behaviour within the story may look like one of the sins but it actually comes from a mental health issue etc.
Sacrifice Your Heart - A LevixOC story wherein the OC, Sofia. (Levi's girlfriend at this point) has to take on the Armoured Titan in an AU of the Return to Shiganshina arc. She struggles with it especially after learning that she'll only have 13 years left. It'll be a story of navigating the following events while brewing with resentment.

Breeding Brooding (part 2)
Or ‘how to ruin a perfectly good antique sofa’
2200 Words of badly written smut inbound. I warned y’all.
As it turned out, she was very enthusiastic.
Levi rolled off of her, both of them giddy and breathless after their most recent round of passion. He turned his head to find her smiling back at him and couldn’t help but dive in for another kiss, tangling his fingers through her mussed up ginger mane. Goddamn he loved seeing her undone like this.
Their love making up to this point had been fairly passionate. They communicated well and they each prided themselves on knowing which buttons to press to get the other where they needed to go. But Levi had to admit. Baby making sex?
Hot. As. Fuck.
They jumped each other every chance they got. In the shower, against the kitchen table before work, even once in the car on the way back from a friend’s birthday dinner, the windows steaming up from their frenzied quickie. It was on that particular occasion that Petra had remarked how they wouldn’t be able to have back seat sex with a car seat in the way. That comment had earned her a flurry of particularly relentless thrusts.
***
Fervent kisses slowed into tender ones, heart beats quieting in line with the night outside.
Levi padded back in to the bedroom, flicking off the bathroom light behind him and settling back under the covers. They held each other close as sleep took over, dreams of a little Ackerbaby blooming in both their minds.
____________________
The hum of the electric toothbrush ceased as Levi inspected his teeth in the mirror. Satisfied with his handiwork, he reached for the floss in the bathroom cupboard. His attention however was immediately grabbed by the newly opened box of pregnancy tests on the bottom shelf.
His eyes darted to the trash can next to the sink. It was then that he noticed the plastic stick. Excitement bubbled in his chest as he angled the bin to peek at the little window.
One pink line.
A small pout of disappointment flashed across his face before he turned his attention back to flossing. Ah well, they’d only been trying a month or so. Levi wasn’t worried. He knew these things rarely happened immediately. Still, a wave of impatience briefly swept through him. He couldn’t wait to begin this new chapter with Petra. He yearned to see her face when she told him the good news. He wondered what cravings she’d have, what names they’d disagree over. He wanted to bring her morning tea as she relaxed in bed, one hand over her growing bump. Watch a little piece of him grow within her.
He deposited the floss in the bin and took the trash out.
____________________
Petra stood in front of the dressing table and put in the delicate silver earrings. She turned her head, checking her make up before opening the lipstick with a soft click.
Levi’s reflection appeared in the mirror as he moved to stand behind her. He kissed her bare shoulder, humming in approval, “Hmm…you know the ceremony doesn’t start for another half hour”, he moved his hand round her stomach as he began trailing kisses across her neck, “We got time for a quick one, I’ll even bend you over the dresser, keep your hair nice and neat”.
Petra bit her lip, trying to hold back a smile, “Calm down Casanova, we need to be sat down in like ten minutes”. She pushed herself away from the dresser and turned to her husband with a coy smile, “Besides, I thought you wanted to see how dirty we could make the giant ass bathtub”
He smirked at her attempt to quote his crass remark from earlier. The couple had been invited to their friends’ wedding, an elegant affair set in a beautiful old country manor. Delicate papered walls and sweeping staircases featured throughout the stately home - Petra had remarked how it was akin to one of those oldy worldy Victorian dramas she always had queued on her Netflix account. Their room alone boasted a luxurious king sized bed, a solid oak dressing table and an imposing full length mirror. All of this, plus the aforementioned bathtub, promising a night of very little rest if either party had anything to say about it.
She smoothed the lapels of his suit jacket. Levi ducked in for a quick kiss, growling in her ear, “Can you fucking blame me?”. He took her bottom lip between his teeth. Her resolve almost faltered. Almost.
“Save. It. For. Later.” She replied through a grin. She grabbed her purse and took his hand, leading them both out to the corridor and toward the main hall. It had been decorated beautifully. They found their seats and waited for the ceremony to begin.
***
“I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride”. Applause rose up as the couple embraced. The rustling of tissues and remarks on how stunning the ceremony had been murmured through the hall as the new Mr and Mrs Jinn made their way back down the aisle arm in arm. Outside, confetti was thrown, photos were snapped and congratulations were dished out readily to the bride and groom. Levi tried not to think too hard about all the paper now littering the wisterias.
As the newlyweds were whisked away by the photographer, the guests began to disperse. Petra linked her arm through her husband’s, “Well Mr Ackerman, shall we see what wonders Stohess House has to offer?”
He answered with one of his half smiles, “Lead the way m’lady”.
____________________
They sauntered through the corridors, arm in arm. Both of them had to admit - the estate was beyond classy. Other couples passed as they too explored the grounds, snippets of conversation and comments on the art and architecture floating through the air. Soon, Petra and Levi came to some sort of drawing room - a cosy little nook down a quiet corridor. Bookshelves lined the walls, leather bound tomes stacked row upon row. The soft glow of the polished reading lamps cast an inviting aura over the room and the plush furniture beckoned the couple to stay awhile away from the busyness of the wedding party.
Levi gazed at his wife as her eyes explored the room, no doubt taking in all the fancy ass details he knew she secretly loved. For a moment he could imagine she was a character straight out of one of her period novels on the bookshelf at home; a young lady admiring the decor, her delicate features radiating curiosity. Fingers gently skating over the back of the antique sofa, tracing the intricate patterns on the cushions. Pools of molten brown patiently taking in every feature, every fixture. The brass of the lamps paled in comparison to the warmth of this woman’s gaze. God he’d never get over those eyes. How had he got lucky enough for this sweet, innocent, loving goddess to choose him?
“Hey sweetie?”
“Hm?”
“How many people do you think have fucked on this couch?”
Of all the things he thought would come out of his sweet, innocent, loving wife’s mouth at that moment, he had to admit that was not top of the list. But one look at Petra’s hooded eyes and impish smirk sent a jolt through Levi’s spine. Straight south.
She didn’t give him much time to think anyway. Her hands began toying with the navy blue tie round his neck, urging him into her arms.
“I need you”
She tugged at his shirt collar to pull him into a searing kiss.
“Now.”
He grabbed her with equal fervour, her desperate kiss igniting the lust from earlier. Levi savoured the feel of the velvety fabric of her dress as Petra pushed the suit jacket off his shoulders. His cock twitched as her shawl fell to the floor revealing the creamy flesh of her shoulders, the neckline of her dress drawing his eyes to her cleavage. A low growl escaped the back of his throat as they stumbled towards the sofa.
He bent her over the couch, hitching up her dress as her shoes clattered to the floor. Fumbling with his belt buckle, he admired the view of her looking back at him over her shoulder, chest already heaving and eyes lidded, pleading at him to just take her already. He freed his cock and gave a couple of strokes before running the tip over the silk of her panties. Both shuddered at the sensation of the already soaked fabric. He gave her ass a quick squeeze and planted a light smack on her buttock, earning a loud gasp and a, “Please Levi”. He didn’t need further encouragement. Levi nudged her underwear to the side and slowly sunk his length in.
They set a feverish pace, both aware of the very unlocked door a few feet away. He tried to reach round to rub her clit only to find the awkward position of her underwear a hindrance. He tried to adjust once more but was greeted with the sound of ripping fabric. Oh well. At least it wasn’t a matching set. He pulled hard at the seam and ripped them off, tossing them over the arm of the sofa. Petra let out an indignant noise, which turned into a surprised gasp given the renewed access Levi was now afforded to her sensitive nub.
Petra buried her face into the cushion, desperately trying to muffle her cries with each of Levi’s thrusts. Her hair tumbled out of its updo, one hairpin losing itself down a gap in the cushions. His grasp on her hip tightened and was sure to leave a bruise. Neither cared.
Chanting her name like a prayer, Levi lost himself in her tight folds. Her walls fluttered around him and he quickened his pace. His balls tightened as the sounds of their love making, Petra’s muffled whimpers urging him on as he pounded his length into her. He offhandedly wondered if they could be heard out in the corridor through the unlocked door.
‘Let them fucking hear’ he thought, continuing to thrust deep and hard. He watched his cock sliding in and out of her, slick glistening in the low light. He desperately wanted to fill her, to shoot his seed deep within her. This time. This time it would take. His pace turned slightly erratic as he felt her walls start to clench around him.
Petra lifted her head as the sparks of her building orgasm took over. She arched her back further, Levi filling her to the hilt as bliss hit every nerve. Eyes squeezed shut she gave on last desperate shout, “Levi-ah Put a baby in me!”
That was it. With Petra underneath him, quite literally begging to be filled and the thought of her stomach round with his child left him hurtling towards his own release. He came hard with a barely restrained cry.
They lay panting on the antique sofa, utterly spent. Levi pulled out slowly and winced as he watched their shared fluids stain the priceless fabric. Petra turned fully to her husband, then looked down at the wet patch seeping into the material.
“Fuck.”
“Oops.”
They looked back at each other and Petra couldn’t halt the giggle bursting forth from her lips.
Levi rolled his eyes, “Tch, quit it brat help me find something to clean this up”, although Petra didn’t miss the pleased glint in his eye. She dug out a tissue from her purse and began to dab at the stain.
They ended up hastily covering up the spoils of their love making with a doily and a vow to deny any knowledge of how a mysterious stain could suddenly appear on an eighteenth century couch. Petra’s underwear still nowhere to be found, they straightened themselves out and returned to the main hall.
Sans one pair of panties.

(A few weeks later)
“Your tea’s on the side sweetie, don’t let it get cold”
Levi tried to hide a yawn as he made his way into the kitchen. For once he’d slept in - most likely due to Petra keeping him up all night with her constant tossing and turning. Probably weird dreams; he hoped it wasn’t nightmares. Ah well, she’d made him tea. They were even.
Levi picked up the white mug off the counter and took a sip of the Earl grey. Perfect. He turned to his wife only to find her staring at him intently.
“What?”
“…nothing” Petra hid behind her own cup, taking a delicate sip and batting her eyelashes. Was that a smirk? He eyed her with suspicion as he took another sip of tea.
“Tch, is there something on my face?”
She feigned an innocent look, “Hmm, nope”
“….what have you put in this tea?” He gave the liquid a cautionary sniff.
“Nothing!”
He threw his free hand into the air, “Then why are you looking at me all weird? You need a shit or something?”
“No… just thought you’re new mug suited you is all”
Levi turned the cup to read the slogan.
‘World’s Best Dad’
His head snapped up to stare at his wife, “….Pet.”
She beamed up at him from across the kitchen.
“…don’t you think we need to wait until we actually have a kid til the cupboards get filled with this kinda crap?”
Petra blinked in confusion.
Levi stared back equally blank, “….what?”
It was now Petra’s turn to throw her hands in the air, “I’m pregnant you doofus!”
The tea had gone cold by the time he’d finished kissing his wife.

Ready, Set, Don't Go
Words: 1,833
Genre: Angst/Family
Rating: G Summary: Levi may have resigned from the military, but he'd underestimated how much his daughter is as much of a fighter as him and Petra. (Set almost 2 decades after canon events)
Happy Father's Day, folks!
I'm sorry for contributing slight angst today but don't worry, nobody dies. 👍 Also here, have some wheelchair Levi and a teenage Ackerbaby.
And thank you to @levis-petras for being my beta for this fic 💖
- - - -
Levi wasn't much for celebrations ever since he was young. In fact, he only recognizes five dates that are worth commemorating:
His wife's birthday.
His daughter's birthday.
His twins' birthday.
His and Petra's wedding anniversary.
And Mother's Day, but that one wasn't just for Petra. Truthfully, it was also the only way he gets to celebrate his late mother. He barely remembers her birthday, and he wasn't even sure he knew in the first place.
So, you see, he only celebrates when it's all about the people he holds dear. He doesn't really see the point in All Hearts Day or even his birthday. A more cost-efficient option too.
However, it still hurts that he's spending Father's Day this way.
The day started off normally. He woke up to Petra peppering kisses down his neck, greeting him a Happy Father's Day. The twins—Luke and Philip—then came bouncing in, both boys eager to show him the cards they drew for him.
He came down to Izzy brewing tea—a blend his daughter bought for him as a gift—and greeting him with a hug. He'd have to admit that it's been nice to be coddled by his family.
Then came dinner time.
He noticed that Izzy had been uneasy the past few days, and all those nerves seemed to have culminated during dinner. The brat had been on edge the whole day that he had to snap at her to just spill it.
It first started with an off-hand comment about how there will be a ceremony the next day for new military recruits. He sees his wife give Izzy an encouraging look from the corner of his eyes as she stumbles through her words.
Izzy, who's not much of a great liar to begin with, quickly muttered 'I signed up for the military.' and refused to meet his eyes.
"What?"
"I know that you might not agree now and that you and mom had been through a lot," Izzy starts to explain in a rush. "But I know this is what I'm meant for dad! I think there's not going to be a lot of battles to fight and it's more just—"
"No," he cuts off.
Her squeaking words quickly turned into a hiss, and it only got worse when he demanded that he drop her spot.
Soon, Petra was ushering their twins up to the second floor, knowing how arguments between father and daughter can get nasty.
"This is not fair!"
"The answer is no, Izzy," he said, matching his teenage daughter's tone. He rolls his wheelchair to follow her all the way to their house's front door, hearing her rage around the house. "Oi brat, what did I say about banging on the fucking furniture?"
He distinctly hears Petra scold, "Language, Levi!" from upstairs, but both father and daughter ignores her.
"I'm 16 now, dad," she snaps back, ignoring his last comment. "You can't tell me what to do."
Izzy finally turns around to face him, never one to back down. She's looking at him now with fury in her eyes and a retort ready on her lips.
Definitely her father's daughter.
"Do you even know what you're doing, Izzy?" He said, voice finally softening as he takes in the loaded backpack on her back. He feels the weight of her decision then.
"I wouldn't have signed if I didn't."
He'd always had a hunch that Izzy was fond of the military. Too fond for his taste, if he's going to be honest about it.
Guilt pinches him a bit whenever he thinks back to his promise that he would stand by his children no matter the choices they make. Even at the age of 56, he remains steadfast to his belief to live a life with no regrets.
But he'd be damned before he even allows any of his children to enlist.
So the first time she daydreamed of becoming a soldier at the tender age of eight, he had quickly shut down the idea.
"Here, girls like dolls right?" he had said as he pushed the plushie to her arms. He doesn't really give a damn whether she likes toys that are meant more for girls or boys. He'd buy her anything she asks for, budget permitting. But for some reason, that moment had settled uneasily in his gut. "I bought this for you today."
"But I want that one!" she'd screech, pointing at the display of two toy dual broadswords.
Petra had reprimanded him, telling him that he shouldn't discourage their child just because of their experiences. He could only give his wife a worried look in return.
Izzy was 11 the next time she approached the topic, asking him about his time as Captain Levi Ackerman. While he and Petra had moved out of Paradis since the Battle of Heaven and Earth, never even thinking of looking back, Petra was able to keep a few portraits of their team and the other Scout veterans.
Izzy, the curious young teen that she was, found them.
"See, it says here that you were a captain!" Izzy exclaims, eyes sparkling with excitement and reverence. She'd been bouncing to and from the box with the portraits and other memorabilia during his and Petra's time in the Scouts. She then settled down, looking from the portrait of a younger version of Levi with Erwin to her father's scarred face now. Levi feels his hands clenching on the armrests of his wheelchair, his vision starting to blur the more he looks at his former commander's face.
"It's so cool that you were in the military. And that you even had a high position! Do you think I'll also become a captain in the future? Maybe you can train me so I can reach that level! Please dad, can you tell me more? Is that why you have that badass scar? Mom won't tell me anything—"
Brat didn't know that he was there until the end. He doesn't know what they teach in history classes to children nowadays, but he and Petra had agreed that there's no sense in mentioning their time as soldiers and the literal hell they've been through to any of their children.
Not really a good bedtime story for kids.
The thought of his own child witnessing the same shit he and Petra went through was enough to give him a new set of nightmares every night.
"She's young, Levi," Petra consoles him after he sat up sweating from a nightmare. Tears were also streaming down her cheeks as she clings on to his bare shoulder. "She might still change her mind."
The last time Izzy mentioned it, she was 14. Everything was starting to pick up again during that time. Paradis' military, unsurprisingly, was the strongest.
Armin came over to tell them that a new order will be established—a neutral party from different nations that they all hope would promote and retain the fragile facade of peace they all had before one side goes batshit crazy. Arlert had been the same level-headed young man that he was since Levi had to revive his charred ass back in Shiganshina as he explained everything to the former captain.
With this change came a new branch of military for implementation.
Izzy had been starry eyed since then.
"This might be the world's chance to truly fix things," she babbled on that whole day—a mixture of rants about the current state and how everything is being handled, and reverence at the possible future this change might bring.
"Imagine... Imagine being a part of that..." Izzy had trailed off then, eyes faraway but lit up with optimism.
All Levi can hear and see is another Isabel from years past.
Back then, he'd chalked it all up to the fanciful thinking of a child who doesn't know any better. Now, Levi desperately wants to believe that maybe this is just a rebellious teenage phase. He'd been around a lot of teenagers during his time and he'd witnessed how crazy they can get.
Like Eren and—
He tears himself away from the memory before his mind fucks him up further. He and Petra already deals with it on an almost nightly basis, and it's a thought he'd rather not dwell on during his waking hours.
The living room was quiet for a moment as both father and daughter stare each other down. Levi looks at his first-born now—committed and kind like Petra, blunt and fearless like him. The best of his and his wife's qualities mixed together.
But who knows when shit will go down again? Things were shaky enough in this damned world as it is. While he and Petra were able to find their own safe spot to raise their children in, one can never be too complacent.
He'd already lost too much, and most days he wakes up thinking that even his family is temporary. There one day, gone the next.
"I can do my part this way, dad," Izzy finally replies, drawing her father back to the present. She sighs, dropping down her bag and kneels on one side of his wheelchair so they'd be at the same level. "Like what you did. Like what you and mom did."
He remains quiet as he takes in the determination in her eyes. It's the same look Petra would have more than two decades ago when she saves another soldier from being titan shit. The same look his daughter would have whenever she refuses to let go of a toy before bath time back when she was a toddler.
He knows then that there's no swaying her from her decision.
"You're too much like your mother," Levi says, resigned. They even have the same strawberry-blonde bob, he notes. Izzy gives him a sad smile then.
"You're just too old to 'deal with my teenage bullshit', dad," Izzy retorts to lighten the mood, doing her best to imitate her father's previous rants.
He doesn't tell her that maybe what he's too old for is the possibility of losing another person he holds dear.
- - - -
When he sees her off the next morning, already in the uniform issued by the military, he decides that he'd rest easier at night knowing that Izzy believes he's there to support her. He fought for Paradis' freedom for half his life. Why would he rob his daughter from her freedom to choose the path she wants?
"I'm proud of you, Izzy," Levi whispers against her ear as she hugs him tightly, fighting against his desire to beg her to not to go. It may be uncharacteristic of him to want to sob out and cling further to her but damn it, this is his daughter.
But Izzy's breath hitches at his words, and tears soon started to fall. His own arm encircles tightly around her while he supports himself with a crutch. She looks at him gratefully, true joy in her eyes, and that was enough to stop him from forbidding her further.
"You're not allowed to die," he mutters instead—so similar to the 'encouraging words' he gave the young recruits he guided before.
Izzy laughs through her sobs and teases him, "Is that an order, 'captain'?"
"Damn right it is, brat," he replies, fondly ruffling her hair.

RivaMika and their children HEADCANONS
While Mikasa is still pregnant with the children, Levi cannot use his cleaning supplies liberally as Mikasa's nose will detect it from a mile away 🤣
First child is a male, second is female.
Boy has blue eyes from Levi and hair with middle fringe like Mikasa. Girl has gray eyes from Mikasa and bangs similar to Levi.
Boy is more carefree, rebellious, impulsive, and free-spirited. Girl is more prim and proper, serious, and stoic.
My names for their children are Liam for the boy and Miria for the girl.
Both children have Ackerman strength (of course 😍) and awakened once people close to them are in trouble.
When playing with toys, for example a ball, children throw it unknowingly strong due to Ackerman strength and end up damaging walls, furniture, glasses, picture frames, or mirrors etc accidentally. Levi and Mikasa have had to replace stuff or place things only in their master's bedroom because of this 😆
Both Levi and Mikasa are doting to their children and spoil them most of the time.
Mikasa is more lenient when the kids are still young, being an affectionate and caring mother (e. g. fixing the scarf on their kid's neck and fussing over them, buying lots of toys and sweets for them). But becomes more strict when the kids get older like being in Asian mom mode 🤣 (e. g. slipper is ready for when their son comes home later than usual). Though her strictness comes more from being overprotective of their children.
Levi is more strict when the kids are still young, being a cautious and watchful father (e. g. doesn't want their kids eating too much candy, makes kids eat veggies). But becomes more lenient when the kids get older and he'll be like, "Do what you think is right. As long as you don't regret it, and you assume its consequences."
Liam protects his little sister, Miria, and his close friend from bullies by fighting them off with his Ackerman strength. And he'll have a reputation of being the strongest kid in town feared by other children. He's more of the brawn type of kid although he is also pretty clever and can easily pick up on things.
Liam is the type of kid who will get in trouble at school for getting into fights. But the fights are mostly to save his friend or when he is being belittled. Then Levi and Mikasa gets called to the principal's or headmaster's office after the first school day 😂
Miria on the other hand is more quiet and low profile. But people shouldn't underestimate her as well since she is both brains and brawn.
Miria is the type who will report to Levi and Mikasa if her older brother, Liam, gets in trouble. And she'll come up to her brother and be like, "I told you so." or "Told you that was a stupid idea."
Mikasa will encourage Levi to attend Parent-Teacher meetings and events in school. Levi despises the idea but attends anyway. And he'll be all awkward like, "Do I have to do this?" (e. g. trying to dance along with the kids in the event). Needless to say, other mothers and guardians in school will be like, "That father looks so handsome! Do you think he still has a wife?" 🤣
Mikasa will enjoy attending school events. Though she may be awkward at first. But once she gets the hang of it, she will gladly join their kids in whatever tasks they need to do for the event. Other parents will be like, "Such a lovely young mother! Probably some guy just did her and left when she was already with child." 😭

Some images I made from Pic Crew to visualize the children's appearances 🥰 Pic Crew boy || Pic Crew girl
@acker-worshipper Sorry this took so long. But here it is, and I hope you like it. Do tell me what you think 🙂
Lovely RM fic writers, you may feel free to use these ideas if you make a RM child in your stories (except for the kid's names because me and my babu came up with those 😂). And do tag me so I can read it and give it love as well ahah 💙
I've also already introduced my version of Ackerbabies/Ackerkids in my story Solace, and my Spy x Ackerman edit Enrolling her in school. So please do check those out 🙏
I may add some more to this list, but this is all I have for now 😅 and hopefully soon I'll also be able to draw my own version of them as well 💖
