Welcome back to another monthly update where I simply report February was Rough. Since I had to deal with life things, I didn't write as much as I wanted but I did still get some things done.

Released Beck's backstory

Quick update to the demo so choice indicators are split between Path choices and Romance choices

While I can't say how much longer it's going to be, I can say for sure Chapter 2 is going to be longer then both the prologue and Chapter 1. There's going to be three different endings for this chapter, each with their own consequences (good and bad), and Chapter 3 is semi-different depending on where you end up in Chap 2.

Also, while not a big deal to most, I updated the intro post with all the path info since the major points for each path have been finalized. It was honestly bothering me, so I'm glad that's there now lol

Lastly, this is a little random, but I was wondering if anyone would be interested if I collected all the prompts I've written and put them together in a PDF collection or something? I was thinking of just throwing all the art/extras I've made and posted to Tumblr on Ko-Fi (for free obviously ajsjs), but idk if anyone would be interested in having those in one place? I just thought it might be easier, since I've written a decent number of them so far and they get buried easily on the blog. I'd probably organize it by character instead of by prompt if I did this as well. (They'd also be edited because...yikes lmfaO)

With all that said, unless March also Explodes(tm), I'm hoping to knock out at least 20k words, and finish the rest of the writing in April! For now, I leave you with this preview.

Okay this is as good a time as ever to explain the premise of Flash Forward

Basically, the AU plot is the 87 turtles get stranded 100 years in the future like in 03. However, instead of getting there by time travel? The turtles are instead frozen in cryrosleep by Shredder and Krang!

It’s a on going joke that during the period the turtles were frozen, Shredder and Krang used Raphael as their coffee table for a few years AHAH

the more xmen movies i watch, the more i realize that the mcu sucks. by having to work to fit in with a huge, sprawling cinematic universe, the individual stories get muddled. x-men gets to have a very cohesive trilogy, because you don't need to take a break to watch a bunch of other movies in order to understand what's happening.

For some reason fluff has taken over my brain so 🤷

Anthony and Damien don't do much for the holidays. The first one they spend separate, too early in their relationship to really get into all that. The second they spend at Anthony's mom's in Sacramento a small little get together of close family. Damien's nervous but thinks it went over well. He hopes at least, hopes that his lack of being able to read social cues didn't make anything awkward and Anthony reassures him. The third they spend at Damien's. They stay curled up on the couch, personal heaters on their laps as they watch Christmas movies. Home Alone and Home Alone 2 of course make it way on the TV. Damien nudges him and laughs at how they're somehow his favorite movies. The Nightmare Before Christmas is also played and they argue whether or not it's a Halloween or Christmas movie. Damien confidently says it's both and Anthony relents... For now. There's no gift exchange or fancy foods (they'd ordered take out the night before and decided that that was good enough for Christmas dinner) but it's nice and cozy and kind of the best Christmas they'd ever had.

I'm not a Korn girlie at all 🙈 I am embarrassed to tell you that that song is the first one I've ever heard from them ajsjs - but I actually have an excuse for that. Europe (and especially Germany) has a massive alt/goth/metal/dark electro scene, I've been nothing but spoiled ever since I was a baby metalhead/alt. We even have bands who exclusively/mostly sing in English (KMFDM, Running Wild, for example). I liked Linkin Park and Three Days Grace as an edgy teen but I'm more comfy with the homebrews 🥹 But maybe you already know that and I'm just making shitty excuses ahhsjs

I'll trade you this song from one of the™ bands of my youth: Subway to Sally - Dein Kapitän - and yes, there is a nautical theme here (they looooove that) but that's not why it fits him so well imo. The song is about the narrator manipulating and abusing someone who is weak, stripping them down and molding them into something that follows his orders, sometimes using violent means. But it's also about how they're bound to each other now, how he'll never leave ... That is so Doflamingocore to me...
