The series started with Mu Xuanling chanting "Xie Xuechen" over and over while following him around and now he's the one saying her name over and over:

And she finally replies with his name instead of "Mr. Xie" (or whatever she's been calling him, Cultivator Xie? but it wasn't his full name)

And he knows just from her saying his name that she's back to normal!

Nuuksio National Park---had a great guide here and owe my traveling companion an apology for not just attempting to rerun his route, rather than dragging her out to Sipoonkorpi. Not that I would have been able to recreate his route either, in all likelihood, but [redacted remarks concerning Sipoonkorpi.] Beautiful scenery aside, the highlight of the hike was when I asked “what that vinegary smell was” and the guide in all promptness reached down, patted the top of an anthill rapidly, and held out his hand for me to confirm that what I had smelled was formic acid.
