this was my first weewoo season watching live and somewhat engaging in the fandom. and you know what, i didn't have a great time. people are fucking nasty. across the board. What happened to just having fun and enjoying what you enjoy and letting others enjoy what they enjoy. why be a cunt about these fans or those fans, block ignore and move on instead of making a scene about it. it seems like so many people aren't here to enjoy themselves. they're around to make everyone miserable and acting like a bunch of twitter stans.

For the month, I have been obsessed with Shin Hye Sun and I'm so glad to have stumbled on your blog. Let me tell you, this woman has had me on a chokehold. Like I am obsessed. I have devoured every bit of content that I can find.

She is perfection. Her acting is top-notch. I discovered her through Mr. Queen, but her portrayal of Lee Yeon So is just impeccable. I'm at episode 9 now of Angel's Last Mission haha

Shin Hye Sun is a QUEEN and I'll literally watch her in anything! Even though Angel's Last Mission is a bit flawed (don't worry I won't spoil it!), her ballet character was sooooo magical. Like, she is EVERYTHING. Side note: When that drama aired, apparently ballet lessons rose dramatically because of her role.

I hope you watch her in Thirty But Seventeen! Don't be swayed by the crazy premise, I promise it's super cute. :-)

When I was a kid my family pretended to get raptured so I would think I was left behind on earth while they all went to heaven.

I was like 8 years old and my sister and mom had gotten really into the Left Behind novels (bible fan fic about the rapture). In the books when the rapture happened the clothes that people were wearing when they got raptured were left behind in neatly folded piles.

One day when I was getting home from school my family decided that they would leave piles of neatly folded clothes around the house, and then hide in the basement.

The intended effect was that I would get home and see the clothes then, think that my family had been raptured and that I wasn’t good enough to get into heaven… or something?

The problem was that I had never read these books, and didn’t really think about the rapture very often. There was no reason that I would see some laundry on the floor and think “The rapture happened and I’ve been abandoned by God! I’ll never see my family again!! Oh nooo!!!!”

I just sat down and watched cartoons and eventually my family got bored and revealed that they were all hiding in the basement.

It’s a good thing I didn’t understand the joke, otherwise that shit would have been traumatic.

yknow AI art has ruined an entire genre of painting to me, i saw one of those smooth anime-realism pieces and immidiately thought ''ugh, AI art'' until i noticed it was posted by an established deviantart user 6 years ago. like ive never been a huge fan of that genre but it looks like a pretty difficult style to master and i feel bad for the artists who specialized in anime-realism only to have their entire market jacked by people typing keywords into midjourney.
