Deutschribing Germany
Education
Education in Germany is free and compulsory between ages six and sixteen. States (Länder) are largely responsible for education, with the federal government playing a minor role.
Types of schools
The vast majority of children attend state schools, but there are private schools (Ersatzschulen) as well. The latter have very low tuition fees and are also subsidized by the state, which effectively makes them privately-run schools funded by the state. Some are run by religious groups.
School terms
The school year is divided into two terms (from August to January and from February to July) and starts after the summer break, which differs from state to state but usually finishes in mid/end-August. Children have twelve weeks of vacation in addition to public holidays. Exact dates differ between states, but there are generally six weeks of summer vacation, two around Christmas, two around Easter, and two in the fall during the harvest season, since farmers used to need their children for field work.
Tumblr media
Grades
The German grading system is as follows, from highest to lowest: sehr gut (1.0–1.5), gut (1.6–2.5), befriedigend (2.6–3.5), ausreichend (3.6–4.0), and nicht bestanden (4.1–5.0). The minimum to pass is four.
Tumblr media
Levels
Tumblr media
Preschool (Kindergarten)
Preschool education is neither mandatory nor free. Children between the ages of 2 and 6 attend Kindertagesstätte (Kita, “children’s daycare centers”). Many Kitas follow a certain educational approach, such as Montessori or Reggio Emilia.
Primary education (Primarstufe)
Primary education takes place in Grundschulen and generally lasts four years, from 6 to 10 years old. In Berlin and Brandenburg, it lasts six years.
Students are typically taught art, a foreign language (English or French), general studies (natural and social science), German, math, music, physical education, and religion or ethics.
Secondary education (Sekundarstufe)
Secondary education can take place in any of the following schools:
Gymnasium (grammar school) until grade 12 or 13 (ages 10–11 to 17–18/18–19), with Abitur as exit exam to qualify for university
Realschule (intermediate school) until grade 10 (ages 10–11 to 15–16), with Realschulabschluss
Hauptschule (secondary general school) until grade 9 or 10 (ages 10–11 to 14–15/15–16), with Hauptschulabschluss
Gesamtschule (comprehensive school) until grade 10 or 12/13 (ages 10–11 to 15–16 or 17–18/18–19)
The Gymnasium provides in-depth general education for university studies. Hauptschulen teach basic general education leading to vocational school or university entrance qualification. Realschule offers more extensive education than Hauptschule, leading to a vocational or university entrance qualification. A Gesamtschule combines all the aforementioned schools.
There are about twelve compulsory subjects in every grade: biology, chemistry, civics/social/political studies, up to three foreign languages, geography, German, history, math, music, physical education, physics, religion/ethics, and visual arts.
Tumblr media
(F3 means Fremdsprache 3 [third foreign language], which is usually French or Spanish)
In grades 11–12/13, each student majors in two or three subjects (Leistungskurse), in which there are usually five lessons per week. The other subjects (Grundkurse) are usually taught three times a week.
Vocational training (Berufsbildung)
Vocational training lasts between two and three and a half years and can take place in any of the following types of school:
Berufsschule (vocational school): the standard type of vocational school, it prepares students for further vocational education or for a job in a profession. Apprentices attend school twice a week and spend the rest of the week working at a company, so they gain knowledge of theory and practice.
Berufsfachschule: similar to Berufsschule, it is aimed at people who want to study specific subjects, such as nursing or occupational therapy.
Fachoberschule (vocational high school): students who have obtained a Realschulabschluss or Hauptschulabschluss can attend a Fachoberschule, where they will specialize themselves in technology, economy, or administration and management, among other subjects. After completing the program, they can study for a university degree after passing the Abitur.
Berufsoberschule (upper vocational school): those who want to attend one need to have graduated from a Berufsschule. It provides in-depth education and training.
Higher education (Tertiärbereich)
To attend university, students need to pass the Abitur exams, of which at least one is oral. They are tested on four or five subjects, including their two or three Leistungskurse and two or three Grundkurse (German, math, and the first foreign language). All knowledge areas must be covered, including language, literature and the arts; social sciences; math, natural sciences and technology, and sports. Each semester of a subject studied in the final two years of Gymnasium yields up to fifteen points, where advanced courses may count double and final examinations count quadruple.
There are 380 universities in Germany, of which 114 are private. Public universities charge fees of around €150–350 per semester, which often include the cost of public transportation. Tertiary education institutions are classified into Universität or Hochschule. The former term is reserved for those which have the right to confer doctorates, in a similar distinction to universities and colleges in the United States. Fachhochschulen (Universities of Applied Sciences) are a type of Hochschule that concentrates on applied science and has a more practical profile with a focus on employability.
There are three types of admissions procedures for degree programs:
Free admissions: every applicant who fulfills the requirements is admitted. This is usually the case in programs in which many students quit, such as engineering, mathematics, or physics.
Local admission restrictions: only a limited number of places are available and students are admitting according to numerus clausus, whose criteria vary depending on the institution and the program but generally include the final grade of the Abitur, a weighted grade average that increases the weight of relevant school subjects, interviews, motivation letters, and/or letters of recommendation.
Nationwide admission restrictions: to study dentistry, medicine, pharmacy, or veterinary medicine, there is a nationwide numerus clausus in which applications are handled centrally for all universities.
There are three official university degrees: Bachelor (bachelor’s degree) takes three years to complete, Master (master’s degree) lasts two years, and Doktorat (doctoral degree or PhD) takes between two and five years.
Students can usually choose freely from all courses offered by the university, but all bachelor’s degree programs require a number of particular compulsory courses in the field of the study program.

Top 10 Courses after Science
Top 10 Courses after Science
Students have many options for navigating their careers once they have completed the 10+2 in science. Career possibilities are one thing that both sets of aspirants (those who do not want to pursue engineering or medicine and those who want) still have in common. After receiving a 12th-grade science diploma, PCM offers various high-paying courses. Yet, due to inadequate advice and understanding, students often choose the incorrect careers.
Medicine/MBBS
18.72 lakh students participated in NEET 2022, which is administered by the National Testing Agency and is regarded as the entry point for admission to the MBBS program and other medical programs. 8.70 lakh of the students who showed up for the exam passed. These figures demonstrate the degree of rivalry as well as the students' enthusiasm for medical studies. Only the finest of the best pass the exam and are allowed to enrol in medical schools.
Engineering
The most sought-after courses are Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Technology (BE/B.Tech), not just in India but throughout the world. Depending on the nation, a B.E./B. Tech courses might run anywhere from three to five years. It is a 4-year program in India that consists of 8 semesters and a project in the last year.
Few years ago, students may pick from the fundamental four engineering specializations: mechanical, electronics and communication, computer science, and engineering science. Nonetheless, engineering has been divided into some branches and sub-branches as a result of the development of science and modern technology. The fields of computer and electronic engineering are currently quite popular.
BBA
This course is fairly well-liked because the majority of BBA graduates either finish their studies or plan to pursue an MBA after graduation. Contrary to popular belief, a student pursuing a BBA is not needed to pursue an MBA. After the intermediate test, a three-year BBA program is available.
After finishing science in their intermediate, students who want to start their firm or who have the aptitude for further business studies should enroll in a BBA program. Among the courses taught to BBA students include finance and accounting, marketing, organizational behavior, statistics, and business economics.
LLB (Bachelor of Law)
The three-year LLB program is intended to direct students toward a career in law. LLB is the program that prepares students who want to practice law for careers as attorneys. While many students in the arts and sciences choose to pursue law, those in the sciences can also do so. This is mostly because law schools want candidates with strong analytical abilities and remarkable logical thinking.
Several institutions offer BA LLB or even BBA LLB programs, both of which last five years in total. The course is governed by the Bar Council of India or BCI. Each student majoring in law should thus confirm that their college has received BCI approval.
Bachelor in Statistics
The B.Stat, or Bachelor of Statistics, is built on a foundation of statistics, mathematics, and certain computer applications. Several universities offer this three-year program.
The top college in India to study statistics is the Indian Institute of Statistics. Students who want to major in statistics study the application, methodology, and theory of statistics at the well-regarded college, which offers placement opportunities in both the private and public sectors. Business statistics, probability, applied mathematics, psychological indices, actuarial science, and other topics are included in the course curriculum.
Bachelor in Computer Application
The BCA Course is a course that examines computer science and its applications. The majority of Indian institutions and private colleges offer this three-year program. Advanced programming, the web, hardware & networking, mathematics, DC, C++, data structures, database management, and software engineering are among the topics covered in the BCA curriculum.
Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management
The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) and the Institute of Hotel Management administer the admission tests (IHM) offers this course. With the expansion of the hospitality business over the past several decades, hotel management has reached its current level of prominence.
B.Sc in IT and Software
In the discipline of information technology, there is a B.Sc. IT curriculum. Students in this three-year degree are primarily taught how to secure, manage, process, preserve, and retrieve information. The curriculum covers a variety of topics, including networking, computer principles, software development, operating systems, testing, information databases, web programming, quality assurance, etc.
B.Pharma
It is a four-year study that instructs students on methodology, the chemical and organic makeup of medicines, as well as the therapeutic effects of such medications on the human body. For people who want to become pharmacists or work for pharmaceutical companies, this course is crucial.
Bachelor of Architecture
The integrated five-year program's goal is to prepare students to sit for the architect licensing exam. Such architects are employed by both public and private businesses to develop, plan, and prepare utility areas, buildings, and roadways.

4 Habits To Be The Topper Of CA Intermediate Examination
One of the most respectable and demanding careers is that of a chartered accountant. However, it is also the most difficult.
It could seem impossible to succeed in a competition after such a challenging challenge. However, if you look at the histories of the following CA Intermediate Toppers, you will be motivated to achieve similar results in your own future exam. Ahead of that, keep in mind that you are a capable person who can accomplish anything, and that "practise makes perfect."
Tumblr media
If you want to ace the CA Intermediate Exams in 2023, adopt these habits now.
-
1. Always practice mock tests
In order to succeed in the CA exams, time management is essential due to the extensive length of the question papers. Due to time constraints, many students fail to attempt the full exam, resulting in a significant loss of potential marks. Time management is something you may work on by doing practise tests. You can use it to roughly estimate how long you should spend on each question. Feelings of anxiety, panic, and dread are major roadblocks to success on the CA Intermediate final exam. Furthermore, if your goal is to get the highest score possible on the exam, you are more at risk of being possessed by such negative thoughts, and your heightened state of awareness may cause psychosis.
You should thus take a practise test at least once or twice to get used to the pace of a three-hour exam. In addition, to acquire a feel for the level of difficulty on the CA Inter test, you should practise with questions from past years' exams. Your self-assurance will rise as a result, too.
2. Making the most of your time and resources
To the question of what they did to prepare for the papers. The high-achieving respondents advised starting with the simpler questions because doing so bolsters self-assurance. You can answer the questions in any order you like. There is 15 minutes allotted for reading the questions and deciding the order in which you will answer them. Attempting each question is a requirement. If you don't prepare, you should expect to fail. To plan is to "consider before doing." Make a plan, assigning specific amounts of time to each activity and naming the project something like "CA Intermediate Topping," as you would for any other major undertaking.
Begin a mini journal. in which you list the subjects to be studied and, at the end of each study day, the actual accomplishment on that day. The next step is to analyse what caused the detour and correct the problem. You should prioritise the quality of your study while sticking to a study schedule of 12–14 hours each day. Know exactly how long it is in terms of a month, a week, a day, and an hour. Document everything you do from the moment you wake up until you fall asleep. You can better organise your time for studying and forgoing other less useful pursuits. Modifying your routines and actions is within your control. also
3. Put any thoughts of skipping classes out of your mind
When studying for an exam, it's crucial to bear in mind that you shouldn't miss class unless it's an absolute necessity due to illness. Skipping class is a sign of how seriously you take the exam and how intent you are on passing it. Skipping class means missing out on the many useful ideas and insights presented by the instructors. It will cost you in the long run if you don't take the time to get your fundamentals straight at the outset. For long-term retention of course material, regular class attendance and prompt post-lesson review are essential. You won't want to miss a class at CAPS Nagpur - A CA intermediate coaching classes in Nagpur since our teachers will make learning about accounting fun and engaging.
4. Consistency
Regular study time is crucial. If you wait until the last few days before an exam and then expect to do well, you will be sorely disappointed. My dear friend, success does not come easily. In other words, if you want it, you need to put in the time and effort to get it. There are no short cuts to success. You'll need to put in daily effort to prepare for it. You should also plan your study sessions such that you have time left over for last-minute review just before your tests. You know the syllabus is long and there are many papers, so cramming at the last minute won't help. It's also essential to review. In order to ensure the success of their students, CAPS, CA intermediate coaching in Nagpur maintains a consistent learning environment.

These 5 Tips will Help you get your Driver's License
Tumblr media
While most don't need it having a driver's license, it is essential to every aspect of your life. Driver's licenses allow you to be more self-sufficient and also free which allows you to go wherever you like and return anytime you want.
Earning your driver's licence is simultaneously a thrilling and stressful event in most people's lives. The process of receiving your driver's permit can cause you to feel nervous as it requires a lot of practice and time, and you never know when the test day will go eventually. With the next five tips I hope you'll be ready to hit the road.
1. Written Test
The majority of states and countries require that you pass the written test in order to obtain your Rijbewijs kopen.
You're likely to receive a handbook in which you can find all the basic rules of the road, including the meaning of road symbols and signs and driving etiquette. It also covers basic driving techniques, speed limits in various zones or how to handle accidents.
This is much needed to enable you to quickly and faster learn to navigate the roads. It's recommended to go through one section at the time as there's lots of information in this handbook.
It is easier to remember information If you go through every chapter attentively and keep notes. Get help if you have the ability.
2. Successfully complete the training
To practice all the rules of the road you've learned in the earlier step, you'll need to take your behind-the-wheel instruction.
You must complete a certain amount of training hours with your instructor to be competent to drive legally. Relax and pay attention to your instructor, as they aid you in gaining practical knowledge and improving your driving abilities. You need to learn how to stop, start, park, and back up. With a bit of help, you can become the most efficient driver in town.
Remember to keep your eyes fixed on the road and feel confident in your driving skills.
You can react to any situation if you are calm and aware of the exterior and interior of your vehicle.
If you're stressed and anxious out, you're not able to maintain a clear head and are not able to think straight and act in a timely manner. The process of completing a behind-the-wheel course will help you gradually be more prepared and less tense when driving.
3. Know Your Car
It is important to know as much about cars as possible, especially the car you'll be driving. You'll need to be aware about the components and functions of your car's parking brakes, turn signals, how to use seatbelts, or windshield wipers.
These things will be tested at the time you're supposed to take an exam for driving. It's best to take your test driving in the same vehicle you took your driving lessons in.
You'll feel more relaxed and less stressed while taking an exam since you'll be aware of the buttons and controls that are required for a secure ride.
4. Driving Test
To obtain your Rijbewijs kopen you'll have to take and pass the driving test. To prepare you for the test, it's recommended to take a driving simulation test.
Practice driving in a place with fewer traffic congestion, for example. A parking lot that is empty could be a great place to practice parallel parking and build your confidence behind the wheel.
You'll feel more confident and prepared for the driving test. If everything goes as planned, you will pass the test and be able to get your driver's license
After you get your license, why stopping there? You can go one step further and apply for an intermediate rigid license from ABC Driving School.
The skills and experience of drivers don't have any limits. Learn and practice as many times as you can when you're ready.
5. Practice makes perfect
It is important to ensure that you do not take a lot of time off from driving once you've received your driver's licence. There are many reasons drivers stop driving following the issuance of a driver's licence. The most common is fear.
There's no reason to be worried because you've been practicing before receiving your license, and you are prepared to drive on the roads.
Once you have obtained your car driver's license It's a good idea to learn to drive with an adult. You'll become more proficient and comfortable in driving.
A majority of countries require new drivers to be accompanied by a licensed driver. This is for your own security, so choose an individual you can are comfortable with and begin driving with him or her.
Summary
Getting a driver's license is something that most people look at looking forward to. A driver's license is one of the most effective ways to show that you are a responsible and free adult.
The process of obtaining an official state permit to drive takes time and can be stressful however once you're finished with it you'll realize it was well worth it.
Most important is that you have will and patience to stick with the entire procedure that will lead you to where you want to be. Do not forget to learn to drive after you've obtained your driver's license.

hi hi! could you please share your study techniques and advice for economics majors? I survived lower division just fine but upper division courses :( .
Hii! First of all, I want to apologize for answering this quite late - I wanted to give you an answer that's thorough enough and helpful. Read on below for tips!
Disclaimer: these tips are from my own experience and the experience of my peers, most of whom are in US institutions. However, I do think these tips should apply to many economics major programs.
Strengthen your mathematics foundations
Upper-division economics courses are math at their core. Here's an example of the objectives of an intermediate microeconomics course (source)
understanding the concepts of Pareto and sum-of-surplus efficiency, being able to determine whether a preference relation is complete, transitive, monotonic, and convex, and being able to determine whether a production function exhibits increasing, decreasing, or constant returns to scale.
Preference relations are concepts from discrete math. Increasing, decreasing, and constant returns are concepts from calculus.
Many upper-division courses also require knowledge of probability and statistics (game theory courses especially). Research-based classes often recommend having taken econometrics. Theoretical classes like decision theory are, as the name suggests, theoretically rigorous, so being comfortable with proofs is necessary, and knowing math theory is a great help.
A lot of people (myself included) struggle with higher division economics courses because they were not mathematically prepared. While you can definitely learn as you go, it will make your life a whole lot easier having the preparation or at least the comfort to work with the required mathematical concepts and use certain mathematical skills.
An example from personal experience: I had taken econometrics (a theoretical version) the spring of my sophomore year without much knowledge of multivariable calculus and having taken calculus II over a year before taking this class, and honestly I felt I had to work so much harder than my peers who were math majors or minors.
So yeah, you should definitely brush up on your math skills if you find yourself struggling. This could mean doing extra practice, looking for tutoring, or even taking a course.
Strengthen your economics foundations
Upper-division economics courses really build on lower-division courses. As far as I know, the purpose of upper-division courses is to teach us to synthesize what we learned from lower-division courses, i.e. to use the tools and techniques we've learned, and apply them to new economic settings.
For example, last fall I took a course on public finance (also known as welfare economics) and one of the topics we studied was regulating pollution. Two of the regulation methods we focused on were 1) cap & trade, i.e. giving pollution permits that can be traded, and 2) emission fees, i.e. setting a fee if emission is above a certain amount. The graphs below illustrate the two methods for two cases: inelastic marginal social benefit of pollution reduction, and elastic MSB of pollution reduction. Marginal cost and marginal social benefit curves are usually taught in lower-division courses, as are concepts of elasticity and demand-supply models.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Another example from the same class: evaluating Pareto efficiency of the allocation of public goods involves being comfortable with indifference curves, utility functions, and production possibility curves, as shown below. (Even if you don't understand what's going on, the general shapes should look familiar.)
Tumblr media
Use the course's learning objectives to guide you
My probability and statistics professor taught me that the first step in studying any subject is to look at the learning objectives. These are the things you are expected to get out of the course and so they are the things you will be expected to know on an exam, do in a project/assignment, etc., not just information but also skills and techniques.
Study and practice drawing graphs
Graphs can hold a lot of information given that you know how to interpret them. In many cases, I found that if I understand the graph, then I understand the concept. Studying graphs saves a lot of study time, too, since the material's been summarized really neatly, and chances are you'll need to know the graph, too.
For many of my economics classes, I create a study guide comprising only graphs. These aren't just the graphs that are explicitly taught in class, though. I try to include as many cases, including special cases, because it teaches me to be able to think through the concepts being used in the graphs, instead of just being like, okay this is what it looks like.
For example, when studying Edgeworth-Bowley boxes, I drew them with different types of indifference curves, and then for each of them, I drew their utility possibility frontiers. Or when studying anything involving demand-supply curves (e.g. different types of taxation), I draw a graph for each combination of demand and supply elasticities (e.g. inelastic demand with inelastic supply; inelastic demand with elastic supply; etc.).
Of course, I don't always get it right. If there's something I'm unsure about or don't understand, I go to office hours for help.
Learn from assignments and practice a lot
Your assignments point out the types of questions you'll be expected to analyze and work through and thus can guide your studying, whether it's mathematical problem sets or a series of essays.
In classes with problem sets, doing them seriously helps SO much. They train your mental muscles to be able to solve or analyze the problems you're expected to be able to solve and analyze after taking the course. Your professor created these problem sets to achieve the learning objectives. If you're having trouble with any part of the problem set, you probably don't understand a key concept, skill, or technique the course expects you to, and that's totally fine; just don't forget to work on it and ask for help.
In addition, problem sets also serve as great revision tools to help you actively recall and synthesize the material you've studied.
Go to office hours for conceptual help
I've mentioned a couple times to reach out for help if you need it and I cannot stress this enough. In most cases, professors and TAs (teaching assistants) are more than willing to help you succeed. I would suggest going to each instructor/staff member if there are multiple and seeing which one is the most helpful, i.e. the person who can fill in your knowledge gaps the easiest, who understands your misunderstandings. Sometimes it's the professor, other times the TA is a better fit. Sometimes the TA gives better help for problem sets but the professor gives better help for conceptual problems. Use the resources available to you!
I hope this helps, and please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions :)

Hey, guys! I’m sure you’re all seeing the petitions for postponing the JEE and NEET exams. And, as a second year BiPC student who has to take the NEET exam next year, I’d just like to say a quick few words.
Y’all are not seeing the big picture here.
I’ve been a lot of petitions going around to postpone the exams, which is what prompted me to make this post. These exams were supposed to be conducted in April/May, but were postponed several times until the government has finally decided to hold them in September, which is when the first term is supposed to start. I’m going to put this simply - the exams were supposed to be held ages ago, after which the students were supposed to have a nice, long vacation before they start attending uni. But this year, their freedom has already been pushed back for several months, and by signing petitions and speaking out against the exams, y’all are agreeing to push back their freedom for several months more. If the government does postpone the exams, it won’t be for a couple of weeks, it will be for months. The students who are pleading to postpone the exams want it pushed back to fucking November! And if y’all keep pushing, it will be postponed well into next year, and it will affect a lot of future students, too.
About the students who want the exam postponed? Well, newsflash - while there are some students who do say this out of goodwill, a majority of them are probably procrastinators who spent the first month or two of quarantine wiling away and now are utterly unprepared when the exam is staring them in the face. Don’t believe me? Honey, I’ve seen this happen several times during my intermediate preboards alone. I’ve seen so many students waste the time allotted to them before the exam, and then go and plead with the Vice Principal to postpone the exam to a few hours later, or even the next day. And the hardworking students like me who’ve been studying hard are affected. I’ve been so frustrated whenever those exams got postponed, and I can only imagine how frustrated and mentally exhausted the students who have been preparing hard for the entrance tests for these past two years are feeling right now.
The government says that postponing the exams further will affect the student’s careers, but it’s more than that. Postponing the exams will affect a lot of students’ mental health, too. These exams aren’t like your regular tests where a few days of preparation before the exam day will suffice. A lot of you don’t realise the scope of competition of these exams. One mark’s difference translates to a difference of thousands of ranks. One has to study for several hours, every single day, if they want to ace these tests. Imagine studying from 6:30 in the morning to about 10 in the night nearly every single day for two years. Imagine being forced to continue this schedule for several months before because the exam you’re preparing for has been postponed. Imagine confining yourself to your room for hours on end, reading the same books over and over and over again because even if you forget a single detail, it can affect your final score, and ultimately your career as a whole. If that were me, and I’m sure a lot more MPC and BiPC students will agree with me, I’d just want to get done with the exam, Covid be damned. Because postponing will mean several more months of exhaustive study and limited freedom.
I can imagine your faces as you read this. Don’t. I’ve chosen this life. Nearly every MPC and BiPC student has chosen this life, because it’s all worth it in the end, when we finish the exam at last. But because of a bunch of lazier students who are hella active on social media, the exam and the freedom of these students is being pushed back. And while these students are willing to put in all of their hard work, two years of studying and studying and more studying with very few breaks in between will obviously take a toll on their mental health. Please. Just let the exams happen. People are willing to sit in the exam hall for three hours with a mask on just to put the weight of these exams behind them. With proper precautionary measures and social distancing, everything will be fine. Besides, the cases are only increasing - if y’all want the exams to be pushed back to after Covid, there’s a good chance it will be postponed well into the next year, which makes things really, really complicated. It’s best to let them happen now. Things aren’t getting any better, and it’s better to give the exams now than when things get even worse.
And if you’re concerned about the flooded areas, there’s a chance that they will recede before the exams. If not, and if there are students unwilling to risk the floods and Covid, if there are any concerned about their lives... LONG TERM IS A THING!! There is no age limit to JEE and NEET. If they are truly concerned about their lives, then whatever exam fee they paid shouldn’t matter to them. They can choose to let this exam go, and write it next year, or the year after that, or whenever they’re ready! If they are truly concerned about their lives, they can put their career aspirations on pause.
But before you support the postponement of these exams, please, please, please think about the mental health of the students who have been working hard, who are ready to give these exams. A lot of you have been enjoying quarantine, but please think about the students who have to put these exams first. That is all I ask of you.

Tears of Themis : Chapter 1 “Social Snobbery” Part 6
[Previous Part] | [Masterlist] | [Next Part]
youtube
▌ Location- Break room
(By the time Zuo Ran ended his phone call, the break room was empty. He picked up the intermediate lawyer examination prep guide that was left on the coffee table, and flipped through the notes that she took in the pages.)
Tumblr media
Zuo Ran: “To find a partner, huh…”
(Zuo Ran put down the book, and sent out a voice memo.)
Zuo Ran: “Zhai Xing, in regards to your suggestion that I find a partner to reduce my workload. Do you have any recommendations?”
(His message was read, and replied to instantly.)
Zhai Xing (voice memo): “Depends on what kind of person you’re looking for. If there’s no one in Themis that catches your eye, I can hire someone.”
(Zuo Ran paused to think about his reply.)
Zuo Ran: “I don’t have high demands, as long as they’re upright, persevering, and won't succumb to authority.  In regards to qualifications they should be comparable to me- no, forget that, as long as they’re qualified, there’s no need for them to be like me in terms of ability or temperament. What I need is a mirror, not an imitator.” (Zuo Ran rarely sends texts, let alone so many at once. There was no response from Zhai Xing.)
Zuo Ran: “I guess she can’t think of anyone suitable…” (Zhai Xing’s reply came at last, as Zuo Ran prepared to head back to his office.)
Zhai Xing (voice memo): “You call this, ‘not demanding’?! Wake up, Zuo Ran! Those qualified to be your mirror are far and few!” (After hearing Zhai Xing’s outburst, Zuo Ran sighed. He drew his attention back to the spread of exam books on the coffee table, and brushed his finger over the cover.)
Zuo Ran: “Far and few… you say…”
~~~
▌ Location- Commerce Avenue
Tumblr media
(On our way to QingPing restaurant, XinRan and I coincidentally met up with Xia Yan, a good friend of mine that I lost contact with eight years ago.)
MC: “XinRan said she hired a detective, it must be you!”
(A bio-engineering honors student from Capital University, abandoned his career path as a scientist, only to return as a budding detective?!)
Xia Yan: “Of course. I don’t understand why you’re so shocked, doing detective work is my lifelong passion. I’m finally able to fulfill my dreams!”
MC: “That, is unexpected to say the least…”
Xia Yan: “Then the lawyer that Miss. Xue was looking for, that must be you. It looks like you also fulfilled your goal of attending Stellis University’s law school.” (I was still reeling from the information overload, and I couldn’t pay attention to what Xia Yan was saying.)
Tumblr media
Xue XinYan: “That’s right, it’s her. I didn’t know you guys knew each other.” (XinRan looked at us, but chose not to press any further.)
Xue XinRan: “Grandpa Fang lives on the second floor of the restaurant. He should be at home, let me call him down.” (XinRan went up and knocked on the door. I quickly composed myself, pulling my mind away from dwelling on our fateful encounter, but Xia Yan kept smiling, his eyes focused on me all the while.)
MC: “Why… do you keep looking at me?”
Xia Yan: “Even after so many years apart, you haven’t changed.”
MC: “That’s impossible, it’s been eight years, change is bound to happen. I mean, I’ve definitely grown taller.” Xia Yan: “But not in my eyes, you’ll always be my… Just like back when I was sixteen, exactly the same.” MC: “Must you speak so vaguely? Like you? Are you labeling me as a tomboy?”
Xia Yan: “No no...”
MC: “I was kidding, relax.”
Tumblr media
(The restaurant door was opened by a man with snowy white hair. This must be Fang Yuan.)
Fang Yuan: “XinRan, I’ve already told you not to bother with the case. The health inspection team has already reached their verdict, there’s no point in investigating further.”
Xue XinRan: “Grandpa Fang, even if we must pay the settlement, we shouldn’t let those customers demand unrealistic charges. Look, I’ve found these two people that can help us.”
MC: “Hello, Mr. Fang. My name is-”
(I hesitated to finish my self introduction after I took in Fang Yuan’s exhausted state.)
MC: (Mr. Fang doesn’t look alright…)
~~~Investigation start!~~~
▌ [Examine Fang Yuan’s mouth]
Tumblr media
AI:
“Ah, there, we can see his face clearer. But… Why are Grandpa Fang’s lips purple? According to the big data center, purple discoloration on the lips can be attributed to cardiovascular disease.”
[Select, “heart issues”]
MC: (Cyanosis present on the lip, should be a sign of his ailing heart condition.)
▌ [Examine Fang Yuan’s eyes]
MC: “He’s got pretty nasty dark circles. I bet he’s lost sleep over the incident in his restaurant.”
▌ [Examine Fang Yuan’s hand, select “bruising from IV”]
Tumblr media
MC: (Did the countless IV drips leave behind such a deep bruise? A cardiac condition at Grandpa Fang’s age is serious and his health must have taken a big toll. I need to watch what I say when we interrogate him, it would be bad if we caused him emotional shock. It’s as XinRan said, Grandpa Fang is quite frail, and he looks tired. Considering the fact that he detests lawyers, I should hide my identity for now.)
AI: “It looks like you have come to your own conclusion, let’s finish this investigation.”
~~~Investigation end!~~~
MC: “I am PI Xia’s assistant, and this, is Mr. Xia Yan.” (Xia Yan did not react to my cover-up. Thankfully, he didn’t question it, either.)
Xia Yan: “Nice to meet you, Mr. Fang, my name is Xia Yan. My mother and father left this world when I was young, and if it weren’t for kindhearted people like yourself, there was no way I would’ve been able to attend university either. Ah, Miss Xue has informed me of your situation, and I admire what you have done out of the goodness of your heart. We’re here today because we would truly like to help. I sincerely ask for your permission to investigate your case, would that be alright?” (Perhaps it was Xia Yan’s convincing words, or his infectious and honest smile, that made Fang Yuan cave to his demand.)
Fang Yuan: “Let’s talk inside.” (As Mr.Fang let us inside, I purposely lagged behind so I could walk behind the group as any dutiful assistant would. Xia Yan leaned down and whispered by my ear, his hot breath sending shivers down my spine as I blushed.)
Xia Yan: “You sure got into character quickly.”
MC: “I’m only pulling from the childhood experience of pretending to be your assistant when we played detective. It feels like muscle memory by now. But aren’t you curious as to why I chose to hide my identity?” Xia Yan: “Of course I am. But you have my trust, and that’s not something a little bit of time between us will change, right? I trust you.”
~~~
▌ Location- QingPing Restaurant
Xia Yan: “Mr, Fang, can you confirm that you were the one that accidentally mixed the powdered pesticide into the spring water?”
(Once we were seated in the restaurant, Xia Yan began questioning Mr. Fang. The questions that he asked were the exact same as the ones we asked XinRan back at the law firm.)
[Flashback]
Xue XinRan: “Grandpa Fang said that he was the one who sprinkled the pesticide powder, and his poor eyesight is to blame for mistaking the water source. He wasn’t paying attention…”
Zuo Ran: “He claims he wasn’t paying attention, but afterward is so sure that it was caused by his misoperation. That’s a logical fallacy...”
[Flashback ends]
Fang Yuan: “It was me. Sigh, I’m getting old, and can't see or move around like I used to. I wasn’t careful…”
Xia Yan: “On the day of the incident, when was the spring water delivered to the restaurant?”
Fang Yuan: “The spring water is sourced from YunXia Mountain, and is usually delivered everyday around 6 AM.” Xia Yan: “After the water delivery, was there always someone present in the restaurant?”
Fang Yuan: “No, the restaurant was empty from 6 AM to 8 AM. The helper and I went out to purchase produce for today’s service. The waiter, Xiao Zhao, arrived at 9 AM…” (Fang Yuan’s sentence was cut short by a coughing fit, turning his face bright red with effort as he hacked.)
XinRan: “Grandpa Fang, are you alright?”
Fang Yuan: “XinRan, help me upstairs. My chest hurts, and I would like to rest…”
MC: “Mr. Fang, is it serious? Do you need to go to the hospital?” Fang Yuan: “No, that won’t be necessary. It’s an old condition, and I’ll be alright once I lie down and rest. The restaurant encompasses the entire first floor, feel free to check what you need. I use that computer there for bookkeeping, there’s no password on it. If you need to use it, be my guest. Although, it’s been two weeks since the incident. The restaurant is cleaned daily, and any leftover food or ingredients have been thrown away. I don’t know if investigating will help, I’m afraid.”
(We watched XinRan help Fang Yuan up the stairs. The moment they were out of earshot, I turned and whispered to Xia Yan.)
MC: “Mr. Fang’s attitude back there was a little strange. Hopefully we can find clues that they missed. The sooner we can crack the case, the better. But he’s been pessimistic from the start, emphasizing that the restaurant isn’t worth looking into. The way he answered your question was barely satisfactory.
Xia Yan: “The way I see it, he isn’t fully willing to cooperate with us, the reason why we weren’t denied earlier is because he didn’t want to seem suspicious. On the other hand, food poisoning caused by ingestion of pesticide itself is suspicious as well. Since the majority of pesticides available on the market are harmless to humans, why would Mr. Fang purchase anything dangerous for use in a restaurant?” MC: “We don’t have an answer for that either…”

To turn into a C.A., one needs to effectively finish CA Exams alongside Internship needed under the ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India).
twelfth Commerce pass understudies may begin by applying for CPT (Common Proficiency Test) led by ICAI.
Contemplating associated with turning out to be C.A. is extreme. It requires a great deal of tirelessness from the understudy. And yet, the vocation possibilities are bounty!
In the wake of turning into a C.A, open positions open up in Finance divisions in Private organizations just as Government Enterprises or even beginning working freely, offering conference benefits just as working as a private examiner who might be employed by organizations and organizations!
6.CMA( Cost Management Accounting)
At present ICWA course has been renamed to CMA which represents Cost Management Accounting. This course gives you an inside and out information to oversee business inside the accessible assets. As a cost bookkeeper, you need to gather and examine the monetary data from all the territories of an organization.
This course contains three phases, for example CMA Foundation, CMA Intermediate and CMA Final. You can seek after this course through correspondence or through online from a licensed college.
7.C.S. (Organization SECRETARY) COURSE
For Statutory Compliance, an organization secretary is required! Furthermore, to turn into a C.S., one needs to show up for Company Secretary Course run by ICSI (Institute of Company Secretaries of India) The ICSI gives preparing and training to lakhs of hopeful Company Secretaries.
If there should be an occurrence of twelfth Commerce passed understudies, to get chosen for the C.S. course offered by ICSI, they should experience a 3 phase program. The three projects are-
Establishment Program
Chief Program
Proficient Program
Discussing open positions, undoubtedly, private area gives plenty of open positions under Compliance office.
Global QUALIFICATIONS
With the present GLOBAL open doors accessible to understudies, it would be inadequate in the event that I don't discuss International Qualifications which are currently accessible in India !!!
1. CPA US (Certified Public Accountants)
Much the same as Chartered Accountants (CA's) are allowed a permit to rehearse the calling of Accountancy and Taxation in India, also Certified Public Accountants (CPA) are conceded the permit to rehearse in US. In certain nations, these certified bookkeepers are called Chartered Accountants (CA's) and in certain nations these are called as Certified Public Accountants.
This Accounting capability is called Certified Public Accountant in the US and to turn into a CPA, a Candidate is needed to satisfy the 3E's for example
1.Education
2.Examination
3.Experience
To turn into a Certified Public Accountant, an applicant needs to effectively clear all the tests led by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). This is a uniform test led by the AICPA and is the equivalent across all the 55 states in the US.
Nonetheless, the qualification prerequisite and the experience needed to turn into a Certified Public Accountant changes from state to state and various states have commanded distinctive qualification necessities as controlled by their particular state sheets of bookkeeper and is just legitimate in US.
2. CPA Canada
Like the states in the US, Canada has areas, and every region has its own provincial bookkeeping body. Canada has taken a strong move by combining its bookkeeping capabilities (CA, CMA and CGA) into one major "CPA "assignment. The cycle has been finished with much achievement.
To begin, applicants ought to adhere to the principles appropriate to their status.
Essential for CPA PEP( Professional Education Program)
•Complete a four year college education in applicable fixation, for example B.Comm with a bookkeeping major
•Complete the essential learning characterized in The CPA Competency Map
•Complete at any rate 120 credit hours or likeness instruction
Nonetheless, similar to CPA US, CPA Canada is likewise Province savvy and is substantial just in Canada !!!
3.CIMA(Chartered Institute of Management Accountants)
Much the same as CMA in India, CIMA is an International expert assemblage of the executives bookkeepers situated in UK.
CIMA is an administration bookkeeping capability which zeros in additional on costing, money bookkeeping, and key business abilities it is a global capability in numerous nations.
CIMA centers around the general achievement which incorporates Corporate Strategy, monetary administration, hierarchical administration, and so forth
Notwithstanding, CIMA can be an extra and might help on the off chance that you are working with a British organization in zone of Accounting or Controlling. In any case putting time in CIMA first without seeking after any Indian Qualifications won't help a lot.
4.ACCA (ASSOCIATION OF CHARTERED CERTIFIED ACCOUNTANTS)
ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is a UK Based Accountancy body which is perceived in 181 nations.

November 22
Today I learned what a Japanese tuxedo is (in terms of tattoos) and that David Lee Roth at 65 has more energy in one hour than I’ve had in my entire life put together. I started listening to his appearance on Marc Maron’s WTF? and spent most of that time laughing or with my jaw hanging open. I lost track of Diamond Dave after his stint as an EMT. Now he’s an entrepreneur with a line of skin products formulated for tattooed skin. Gods bless.
Listening to Dave describe his formal music education made me wonder if that’s not what I ought to go back to school for. Music is the thing I love the most but have little actual education in. I took a beginning theory class in college and some sort of classical music appreciation course in grad school; I even played viola for two years in junior high. I guess by the time I got to college I’d ruled music out as a thing one could start studying. One of my high school friends had been playing cello for her entire life and I remember her missing various activities because she was practicing. She’s now making a living with her cello and I guess her example made me assume it was already too late.
Katelyn and I were talking about going back to school the other night. She’s learning young just how hard it is to make new friends once you’re out of school and I think she’d enjoy it, but we’re both looking at our wallets wondering how to pay for it.
School is one of my happy places. I loved learning, I loved feeling my brain work, I hated studying for exams but loved the feeling of understanding the material. I loved explaining to the class what the teacher meant when they couldn’t parse it and I loved making outline after outline of my study notes until I’d whittled the course down to bullet points. I love having conversations with people who are smarter than I am.
I briefly considered pursuing a Certificate of Higher Learning from Oxford because how cool would it be to be able to say I’m an Oxford alum? The majority of classes can be attended virtually, which is where I admit that I don’t just want to be taking classes by myself. I have a wealth of Great Courses available anytime I want to go ahead and start taking them. I want to Go To School. I want to meet smart people. I want to be surrounded by that energy and excitement again.
Now I’m looking up Eddie Van Halen and learning that he’s been in radiation therapy for his cancer for five years and was just in the hospital after a bad reaction to the drugs. Getting older, as my Gram used to say, ain’t for sissies. Love died for me when Eddie and Val got divorced but I’m glad they’re still friends and I’m thrilled he’s been sober for eleven years. I’m not sure I would have survived a rock and roll lifestyle, but then again, I’d rarely be driving.
(Speaking of the brothers Van Halen, how did I never know their mom was Indonesian? Now I understand why Alex’s eyes have looked vaguely Asian to me for all these years. Apparently Valerie has a cooking show and shared Mama VH’s recipe for something that grabbed Mom’s fancy so I can look forward to that!) (Don’t tell her that I’m a little meh on ham for Thanksgiving. She’s finally cooking Brussels sprouts a new way and I am calling that a win.)
(Mom found a recipe YEARS ago that uses Guinness and had faithfully made her “Relapse Brussels sprouts” every year since. They are fine, but they are mushy, and having seen the way, truth, and light of fresh Brussels sprouts roasted with salt and olive oil, I don’t have the heart to tell her that the Relapse BS just aren’t my favorite.)
This is my fourth day in a row of feeling pretty good, and that’s on less sleep than I normally get. I really hope this is because the medication is working. It’s hard to keep putting one foot in front of the other when you feel like you’re doing it in three feet of water. But I’ve been productive at work and at home and actually considered taking on a work training challenge today. I even started my Christmas shopping! (I hate much of what Jeff Bezos stands for, but goddamn if Amazon doesn’t alleviate most of the Christmas crazy.)
The increased meds are not helping the words come out! I have rare free time in front of a keyboard and nothing to say? Maybe that *is* a sign of increased mental health.
December is flat out insane in my family. Thank goodness my aunt moved away with her 12/4 birthday! There were birthday dinners with Mom (12/2), my aunt, me (12/20), and my dad (12/26). My brother’s birthday is also on the 20th and he’s continued the tradition in the latest generation – my niece will be five on 12/1. Her Aunt Lindsay has decided it’s time we start taking her out for birthday dinners. Basically, the fulcrum of the year tips at Thanksgiving and is just a steep slide into New Year’s. (Which I actually have plans for!)
Christmas shopping is so anxiety-laden for me that I have bad dreams about it all year long. (It’s always the same: December 23rd, I’ve purchased nothing, and the only place open in Walgreen’s.) I can’t enjoy the holiday season until I’m relatively sure what everyone’s getting and honestly, I don’t need any more stuff. Just being together and enjoying yummy food is enough for me. The holidays also mean the Hebert Christmas punch tradition from which I’ve been excluded for this will be the 24th time (I can drink anything I want! I choose not to!). My family are all wine and spirit drinkers and most of the time I look around it, but the holidays really make me miss that fuzzy festive feeling.
So how does one achieve that without using? I need to get back on a meditation routine and I need to make upside-down yoga part of my weekly life. Upside-down yoga always made me a little giddy and we rarely invert in the class I take now. I also need to try on my New Year’s Dress and assess how vigilant I have to be between now and then to make it work. I was having some success with an intermediate fasting routine where I’d restrict my calories for two (non-consecutive) days per week. The beauty of that schedule is that I can maintain it through the holidays. I should have just started this week after the colonoscopy.
But I also had a pretty severe mood crash last year and fasting is not for the unstable. Yes, I’m an emotional eater but you know, I’d rather eat my feelings than wish I could opt out of life. I know how to lose weight; necromancy is above my spell level.
Did I ever mention I was a witch and practiced in a coven for a decade? I’ve just gotten to the 20K word mark and it’s likely I’ll start repeating myself any time now. The coven was made of some amazing people but the actual business of witching just felt too much like work. I went in looking for a spiritual experience and what I got was a delightful social experience. That required a lot of time and 40-mile drives and the stagnation of my 12-Step recovery in that decade was not a coincidence.
Yesterday I got to whip out one of my favorite recovery slogans on a friend: “Religion is for people trying to stay out of hell. Spirituality is for people who’ve already been there.” It doesn’t hold up once you consider religions that don’t have conceptions of hell, but it’s catchy.
(The NaNoWriMo website helpfully breaks down how many words one has to produce per day to get to 50K by next Sunday and it is a little overwhelming. I only need 2235 more today to stay on target! [I am not staying on target.])
Somebody give me a topic! (Give me a beat!) Oh! Yesterday I emptied out one of my spare room dressers, which is something that’s been on my project list for, oh, a long time. All I have to do is patch the hole and that room will be ready to paint, which will let me do the floors in that room and the front. With that done I’ll have my closet annex and yoga station all set up and I will finally live in my entire house. And it should inspire me to do the last three rooms.
I’m excited to set up these last two rooms as functional spaces. I can’t tell you what’s taken me so long to surrender to the idea that I need a room-sized closet extension but look…I have to grab joy wherever I can find it. Waiting for the big stuff to fall into place just takes too long and this bizarre timeline provides plenty of reasons to despair. I don’t understand how people can spend eight hours a day in cubes that aren’t decorated and I am not going to limit myself to one of my life’s compulsions if I have room to store it all. (Vanessa is in Tennessee shouting “You’ll never have room for another person in your house that way!” and I’m shouting back “You and your person bought a new house!”)
I do love my house, though, and getting me out of it is going to take some extraordinary conditions. With any luck I’ll meet a life partner who also loves their house and we can commute and share. I still won’t have enough wall space to hang everything I want to; perhaps a rotating gallery space is required. Says the girl who can’t manage to swap the screens out for storm windows and vice versa every year.

Spring 2020 Courses
Today is the first day of my second semester of college! This semester I will be taking a variety of courses totaling 23 credits. I know it’s an insane number of credits, but there are so many courses I am interested in taking. Besides, we have an add/drop period. If you’re curious about the other courses I have taken at Smith, check out this page.
For my major (B.S. in Engineering Science), I am taking Fundamental Engineering Principles (EGR 110) and Calculus II (MTH 112). EGR 110 is an introductory engineering course. I am really excited about EGR 110 because I think it will be interesting and challenging. Based on the course description, we will learn the basics of thermodynamics, study various systems, and learn about differential and integral balances. MTH 112 is a continuation of MTH 111. Specifically, we will learn specific techniques of integration (integration by parts and u-substitution), dive deeper into differential equations, and study infinite series that approximate other functions.
I am also taking Introductory Physics II (PHY 118). In PHY 118, we will learn about electricity and magnetism. Second-semester first-year engineering students usually take Introductory Physics I (PHY 117). In PHY 117 students learn about force, energy, and momentum. I have fulfilled that requirement via the AP Physics C Mechanics exam. For my major, PHY 118 counts for lab science credit. I decided to take PHY 118 for my lab credit because it sounds interesting and relevant to the specific engineering I am interested in (computer engineering). Alternatively, I could have chosen to take a chemistry course (CHM 118 or CHM 222) or a biology course (BIO 130/131 or BIO 132/133). To read more about the specific engineering requirements, click here.
Studying engineering at a liberal arts school means that I can take fantastic non-engineering courses! In fact, I am required to minor in a non-STEM field or fulfill the Latin Honors Distributional requirements. This spring, I am continuing my study of the French language in High Intermediate French (FRN 220). Last semester, my French course (FRN 120) focused primarily on grammar. FRN 220 is significantly more reading intensive. We will be reading a comic book, a play, and a novel. I will be further exploring the liberal arts in Game Theory (ECO 125). Economics is a totally new field to me, but I will be able to apply my knowledge of calculus to study the cooperation and competition of rational people. All I know about game theory is from reading the course description and some basic research to determine if I wanted to take the course. I expect to write a blog post about game theory once I fully understand what it is, so keep an eye out for that! ECO 125 has a social science Latin Honors designation which is another plus.
In addition to regular courses, I will be taking private guitar lessons for credit. The course is generically called First Year of Study (MUS 914Y). The “Y”, means that the course is a full-year course. It is worth noting that while I am allowed to start in the spring I must continue my lessons next fall. Once I complete both semesters, I will earn credit that has the arts designation for Latin Honors. I have already started my lessons which has been awesome. This course pairs perfectly with my 2020 goals. It is also worth noting that private lessons cost $690 (or $490 with financial aid) per semester. While this is a sizable chunk of money, it’s actually an incredible deal. Declared music majors and minors have the cost of private lessons waived.
Below is my 2020 course schedule. I don’t yet know for sure when my guitar lesson will be because it depends on the availability of my instructor and his other students. That said, it will probably be sometime after 3:00 on Tuesdays. I know my schedule looks sort of weird with all of the white space in the middle. During that time I will be having lunch and working at my work-study job. I know it’s going to be a busy semester, but I am so excited about all of my courses.
Tumblr media
As you will see some of my courses this semester are weird lengths. For instance, PHY 118 meets for 25 extra minutes per class and has a 40-minute quiz block. PHY 118 is a 5-credit lab course, but the lab component is incorporated into the course itself rather than having a separate lab section. As far as I can tell, that’s why it is longer. On the other hand, FRN 220 meets for 25 fewer minutes per class. I am unsure why, but it may be because many 4-credit courses only meet twice a week.

안녕 Ray! Sorry I didn’t respond for so long, I feel sick and had exams. How’s your winter break going? What’s your major, if you don’t mind me asking? 😅 I’m currently studying Korean and French. What about you? Wait, which groups do you stan, your bias and favourite songs?!!! Festivals are tiresome but after a while you get used to it! Plus we get holidays on those days, so it’s a chance for the family to meet. Hope you have a nice day! 💞 -💫
💫!! I'm so sorry I thought I already answered you!
안녕 and Merry Christmas!! ❤💚 I hope your holidays have all been amazing to you 💕
I was going to major in chemistry but now am probably switching to something either art or education related. Winter break is nice, but I head back in like a week. 😔
French and Korean are super awesome! I'm at a beginner level with Korean, used to be intermediate in Japanese but forgot it, and currently high beginner/intermediate in ASL (American sign language). There's sooo many I want to learn though and I'm sure you can relate lol
Okokok so! Seventeen and Day6 will always be my mains, for different reasons. Seventeen was the first group I ever stanned, starting in the Adore U era when I was 15 or 16 so I feel like I grew up with them, ya know? And Day6 will always hit me in the heart with their songs, and all of the genres and emotions they can capture. 😭
Sorry that turned into a ramble lol. What about you??
And on a final note, please feel free to DM me off anon once this is over! I'd love to stay in touch 💕 We'll have to talk more about music and languages
