I finally finished the Game Theory video you sent me a long time ago about the Wind Waker Link. It's pretty interesting that his theory not only lines up with me constantly pointing out that Wind Waker Link is only Link because all Hylians were naming their sons Link in hopes that the hero would return but I also found it interesting and think that it totally makes sense that someone who isn't Link in a traditional sense defeating Ganondorf would actually break the curse as very telling.

By that theory the only free timeline is the one that Link was taken out of completely. And to add to his idea that Zelda should be the one to defeat Ganondorf/Ganon would actually be perfect because they are stuck in this entire mess BECAUSE of the war between Hylia and her people (who I believe were the people of Skyloft (i.e. Hylians before Hyrule was made) and Demise and his monsters who originally inhabited the Earth. I hadn't seen the end of Skyward Sword but knowing it was him who placed the curse makes sense, he was so vengeful towards Hylia that he ensured she and her faithful knight would never be free of suffering.

It's kind of awkward that Matt connected Hyrule Warriors though and stated that that's the reason we have BoTW and Tears of the Kingdom. I disagree with that, Hyrule Warriors doesn't deserve a place on the timeline and is about as relevant as Link's Crossbow Training timeline-wise.... (basically Hyrule Warriors is a spinoff of Dynasty Warriors and Gundam already made a few spinoff games of that title waay before Zelda and Fire Emblem did..) It does seem like Hyrule Warriors is also the only Zelda game (pre Breath of the Wild I guess?) where Link is officially one of Zelda's knights which makes it feel even more like a spin-off AU IMO since Link is usually thrust into the role of hero by destiny and is usually seen as just some random kid...I guess the closest exception being A Link to the Past where he's the nephew of one of Zelda's knights.

Anyway, wanted to tag you in a post with my thoughts because I didn't want to interrupt the flow of our current DMs but still wanted to let you know I finally watched it.

Thanks for the ask Aisu!! Daffodil - I told Fizzy earlier that I wear a lot of rose golds or dark maroons/purples, but I guess besides that I do well in blues - as long as it’s not either too much of a jewel tone or a pastel color, both of which wash me out somehow. Peony - hmmmm idk if I value honor or truth more?  I’d guess honor?  This makes me feel like Zuko lmao Sunflower - answered earlier but sun on a summer day, definitely! Orchid - favorite fruit is currently apples, though I do really like peaches!  I have a tough time eating too many fruits because of my autoimmune disease so I don’t get to experiment much.  I’ve heard pears are nice too, and so are plums?  I’ve never tried either. Anemone - HOO BOY WAS I EVER INTERESTED IN GREEK MYTHOLOGY.  Never read Percy Jackson but read a lot of other compilations of greek myths as a kid. Tulip - my lucky number is 7!  It’s my birthday and it seems like it’s been a good lucky number overall for me.  It’s my Gym Challenger number in SwSh too haha :3 Gladiolus - hmmm I definitely look up to my parents, because they’ve always done their best for us as kids, even if they’re imperfect people.  Otherwise I’ve really been looking up to a lot of the hobbyist artists I see on here and Twitter and Instagram.  Seeing everyone’s art has been really inspirational and motivational to me! Snapdragon - I told Fizzy earlier I’d have to go with Gryphon and Naga tie, but I do really enjoy a lot of Japanese yokai.  The bakeneko is probably one of my favorites! Ginger - hmmm once I made something so spicy I cried so probably that.  There’s not a lot of other foods that I think are disgusting or hideous based on principle, really - I’m a very adventurous eater!  I used to be picky when I was younger tho!

Turns out it’s the second op that I love and remember well. But like…! Look how different in tone and genre it looks compared to the first one! Admittedly the anime had filler and dragged out the beginning? I actually liked reading Bleach. And ngl I probably rewatch this arc more than the actual beginning because it is more put together but… I also love the IchiRuki lol

Unfortunately I don’t get invested in the Orihime rescue mission the same way as this Rukia rescue mission. And I can see how ppl don’t like the repetitive nature of the plots. But I do feel like there are at least some differences. Like the emotional weight is different. Both of them “chose” to leave with the antagonists. But I feel like it was very different circumstances. It’s established Orihime has feelings for Ichigo. But I don’t feel it’s reciprocated. Ichigo wants to get her because she is a friend. For Rukia he feels like he owes her. And I feel like their bond it’s different from Orihime. He feels so strongly for her despite not knowing her for as long? But Rukia is also credited as being the one who “stopped the rain in his soul”. So like…!

But also Rukia was on a clock ro execution, Orihime was just a pawn and not in danger of being killed. They both left to protect Ichigo, and his friends. But Rukia left in front of his eyes and Orihime left secretly. I can understand Ichigo’s trauma and having lost ppl would make him sensitive to Orihime just leaving and not seeing it. But it was also way more clear for Rukia it was a lot more targeted to Icjigo. The others weren’t close to her like he was. They were helping for Ichigo. For Orihime they all had a vested interest in getting her back.

I’m already rambling but as I said I have a lot of feels for Bleach but especially IchiRuki.

Sugirandom: Yes, so the second opening does look more in-line with the genre of the show even though if I recall correctly Season 2 also had a ton of filler. It's interesting to read your explanation of the differences between Orihime's rescue mission and Rukia's. I don't remember if I ever saw both of them but I think if I did I also would be a lot more invested in Rukia's rescue. Even though Orihime does eventually get some kind of powers I think? I feel like she's more of a damsal in distress type of character and therefore didn't feel that invested. I do feel like Ichigo only views Orihime as a friend and that Rukia had a substantial impact on his life in many ways.

Skipping the second op for the rescuing Rukia part of the arc, and the two filler op’s? (You can get whiplash from op’s being high action and fast passed and dramatic/angsty, or more happy and slice of life feeling. I think this following one was for when they went to rescue Orihime (I’m not a big fan of the visuals or music)

I wasn’t a big fan of the above opening 6. But opening 7 is also one of my faves (I also just love Asian Kung-Fu Generation) Still rescuing her. But I also wanna admit I couldn’t finish watching or reading all of this arc despite it’s importance to the lore. It felt too dragged out and it only made me dislike Orihime more rhan before. Whereas for the Rukia mission I grew to like her more. I mostly waited until this arc was over and watched the final battle because I heard what happened. I didn’t come back to Bleach until the Fullbringer Arc which I don’t recall when that happened in the timelime

Sugirandom: Ahh, Opening 6 definitely gives off more IchigoXOrihime vibes and I'm not really a huge fan of the animal companions lip-syncing lol. Opening 7 is much better but I'm also bias in liking Asian Kung-fu Generation. Thanks for sharing these and sorry it too so long to post my responses.

1. What’s your favourite place to go?

I don’t travel that often, despite the time when I have been a scout, so it’s hard to choose. But I would say the UK. I have seen Birmingham, London and York so far and I’m in love with all three. Beautiful architecture, just… so… many… FRIENDLY PEOPLE and the accent and tea and… I could go on forever.

I really want to visit Manchester or Wales next.

2. Your favourite TV show? If you go for anime my favourites are One Piece, Naruto, Boku no Hero Academia, Death Parade and Zankyou no Terror.

If you want to know other: Probably The Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men. And WRESTLING. I love to watch it.

6. good song for studying: Well, these days I mostly study foreign languages and tend to listen to music in the language I'm studying but back when I was in school and had homework I tended to listen to Anime or video game soundtracks. Something like this: Tsubasa Chronicle: I talk to the rain

7. song that you used to like: I don't really stop liking songs that often if this means a song I no longer like that I used to but there is one song I can think of that I guess I just got bored of? Dirty Vegas- Days go by It's not a bad song, I do like it and I listened to it for a while back when it came out a long time ago but I found myself just getting a bit bored and skipping it when it came up on my Itunes.

20. An Underrated Song: Pretty much anything Eiffel 65 made after their first album is mostly unknown to people outside of Europe so I always like an excuse to plug their music. They formed a new group briefly after one of their members left called Bloom 06 and none of the songs on those albums even charted in Europe so I guess I'll share one of those songs: Bloom 06- Between the Lines

25. Popular Song you dislike: Only one? Well, I actually don't know what's popular this year or even the last few years so I guess I'll go with the last song I can remember really grating on my nerves. Shape of you- Ed Sheeran. I won't share a link here because I don't want to promote the song XD but I remember that was playing everywhere when it was new and I just found the song to be generic and boring.
