I made this film because I had never seen an authentic, empathetic portrait of what it feels like to have epilepsy. As an advocate I noticed after several years that most awareness campaigns largely draw audiences of people who already know about epilepsy. To truly raise awareness and beat stigma, we have to reach people who truly know nothing about us, and they have to want to be there. Movies and tv are of the only places in culture where people go out of their way to hear from someone new.
