I was scrolling through my Flikr feed and saw that a poses store put out an ad for new bloggers. I personally believe the credentials for being approved to be said blogger are a tad unattainable. Especially with many free flikr accounts leaving… all the Pro users faves have gone down too. The main credential was an average of 150+ faves per image. I think that’s a bit high don’t you? I don’t…

I love to hop around in SL going to different stores to shop inworld. It has so much more offer than going to the marketplace and you get to site see. But something I have noticed over the past recent years is there are about 2 or 3 favorite buildings people buy for their stores because they are classy looking. My problem is that everyone is using them and I feel a little bored and know my way around them immediately because they are everywhere. Don’t get me wrong, I am all for these designers using them since they are all mesh and nice looking…. but….. mehhhhhhhhh. pthpth.

I am drawn to things that are beautiful and interesting. I love spacious and fancy. When you drop into Paris METRO Couture …. you will be taken over and just stop and breathe. I suggest camming a little to get your bearings then start walking….. the building is spacious, airy and lovely. Well thought out and decorated you will want to walk everywhere and go up several flights of stairs. In the middle ceiling to floor you will see my Pashmina Orange. Yep that’s me.

Rose really has outdone herself with her store and decor. It’s almost like a window to the soul and you can see how beautiful she is. All her designs are true couture in SL, mesh body compatible as well as classic body. Also, the skirts move like a dream. These are still the best in runway couture fashion, a nice mix of modern mesh and beautiful movement is truly the way to go.

While you are in Paris there are 5 sims to see including the Eiffel Tower you can go up like the one in RL. People jump off and take their picture. LOL

Visit the Paris sims and see the attractions. Jump off the top of the Eiffel Tower and also find Paris METRO Couture!

  Fine art in textures accompany Roses designs making her creations completely original and waiting for you. I hope you will visit!

My Story

When I was growing up I was always very tiny. As I got older into my 20s ever so slowly I gained weight from I don’t know where. Between the ages of 31-48 it has been impossible to lose any weight at all. I have exercised, did the Raw Foods way of eating, vegetarianism, The Zone Diet, cut out most sugar, I think I have tried many things but low and behold ever so slowly like 1 pound or 2 a month…

The year is coming to an end but don’t fear, The White Cliffs of Dover & Dover Town won’t close down quietly. LEA 14 The White Cliffs of Dover has been a masterpiece among all the LEA builds this year in my opinion. The cliffs themselves have been a wonderful respite to me when I need some quiet contemplation as well as the beautiful Dover Town. There has been an air show of spitfire pilots and picnic all in vintage 1940’s style of WW2. But lets not forget what this build means to Tahiti Rae.

The beauty and emotion of a place for many many years, all portrayed in a song from Vera Lynn.

This build was made with this song in mind with hopes and dreams all in the face of adversity.

The White Cliffs of Dover is honored to have been on the Destination Guides Editors Picks as well as showcased in a video from SL Artist Designing Worlds. Not to mention most recently has had the honor of being featured in Maniera District Magazine.

Have no fear as The White Cliffs of Dover will not come down quietly at all! It will come down with a great BANG of an event at the end of December… PLEASE STAY TUNED!!!! The roads are really icy so be cautious! (advanced lighting only) A blizzard is forecast just prior to Christmas! The townspeople will be decorating more and more for the holidays. Santa will come to town and have many gifts for those he sees there! He’s thinking about trivia questions about the town, has a few mansions to give away to the winners! But in this season of giving, if he sees you on the street, he may just come up to you and hand you an amazing mansion of your very own or something special for your home! He’s feeling quite generous this year, if you’re good, of course! So pack up the family and visit town often for the holidays!!
