We Got This - super catchy, gets stuck in my head a lot, great choreo, good intro for the movie, the only thing is the line about tearing down the plant always makes me sad :(

We Own The Night - the lyrics are so simple but honestly, this is one of my favs because I can dance to it, and that’s one of the most important things that makes me like a song. Also it’s a good way of introducing the wolves and sets the tone for their storyline, gives a really good impression of their characters etc

Like The Zombies Do - another one that gets stuck in my head a lot, and it’s fun to dance to, but tbh I like watching/listening to this one more than dancing to it for whatever reason. Wynter tackling Zed is an added bonus~

Gotta Find Where I Belong - don’t kill me but this is my least favourite. Not that I don’t like it, I just like the others way more. It’s a sweet duet and all but I guess I’m more interested in other aspects of the story (mostly lore. I like the lore) Also it’s not a dance song :/

Call To The Wild - this could be my favourite? Or it’s Flesh And Bone? Idk? Maybe it’s a tie? You know I love Wyatt, he’s so enthusiastic and passionate about his pack in this song, and Willa is just plain cool. The style of the music and dancing says so much about the wolves and their culture and the real world inspiration behind them really shines through. And it’s 100% my favourite for dancing to~

I’m Winning - idk honestly. It’s low on the scale in terms of like... actual quality. The lyrics and vocals aren’t exactly the best plus Bucky’s... stunted character growth is really obvious but it’s fun. All the back and forth between Zed and Bucky, the Aceys backing up their boyfriend, the choreo’s fun to watch and Bonzo’s little rap /)^^(\ (btw does anyone else find something... odd about his voice in this song? Like James normally puts on a very subtle voice/accent for Bonzo but he raps in his natural voice here and I still love it but??? it’s weird right???) I’m honestly surprised by how much I listen to this one

Flesh And Bone - a work of art. An anthem for the younger generation. Tear jerking. Amazing music, lyrics, choreo/blocking, lighting, cinematography, it’s just beautiful and powerful. Yet somehow, it’s not something I feel the need to dance to. I prefer listening to/watching it

One For All - so fun! Especially the lyrics for the dance break (does it count as a dance break when they’re still singing? Whatever) “shake it like a pom-pom/with a zombie tilt/werewolves do the moonwalk” with one person from each group joining another, love all that. Also Bronzo dancing together. Great finale

Someday (reprise) - idk man. It’s Someday. It’s cute. That’s about it

New Kid In Town - tbh I didn’t much care for it when it got released but it’s really growing on me now...! Makes me wish Baby Ariel got more solos in the movie, I love her voice

i really don’t know how to explain this. it just happened, trust me. actually, i think it’s because i originally first wrote the hoseok drabble, and then i really liked it, and i wanted to incorporate it somehow into another series. and since the drabble had time travel in it, i naturally picked someone who could do time travel. and ekko seemed a cooler choice than zil, heh.

tbh this is like the least noticeable. i actually don’t even know much about talon, really. in all honesty, yoongi sounds a lot more like zed than talon… but also those two are pretty similar (zed and talon, that is). they both use blades, and they both are associated with shadows (and are both assassins).

Namjoon ⇢ Ryze

okay listen, ryze actually has such a tragic backstory. i read so much into it. that’s all i can say.

Taehyung ⇢ Ziggs

idk, just a jittery, high-functioning yordle with a ton of hefty hexplosives and a brilliant mind just seems to hit me as something that tae would be. just someone who’s always fiddling with something, always ready to like… do something. gah, who knows.

will not lie, this choice was solely because i had written a pirate!jimin drabble set in bilgewater before the actual publication of this series. and then i was like well now i gotta do this, so yeah.

God, i really want to get more into his backstory. I have a lot to say about what i’ve planned out for him. I don’t really know why I chose this particular champion for jungkook… i just really like the kindred (their overall concept just!! gah!!). but for now, all i’ll say is that jungkook is supposed to represent wolf :)
