New Zealand U20 team to play Argentina U20 Rugby Championship

On 02 May 2024 at Sunshine Coast, Australia, New Zealand U20 performs the Haka prior to the Rugby Championship U20 Round 1 match between South Africa and New Zealand at Sunshine Coast Stadium.

Argentina defeated Australia handily, setting up a thrilling showdown with a winner-take-all format. Argentina looked impressive in this victory. The trophy will be awarded to the player who finishes first after the three round-robin matches.

Rico Simpson, the starting five, and Dylan Pledger, the halfback, are the main players who have changed. The majority of the second half was spent by the two players playing South Africa, with Simpson’s long throw being crucial in the setup of two tries.

The New Zealand U20 Rugby Championship

When World Rugby combined the Under 19 and Under 21 systems into a single tier structure in 2008, the New Zealand U20 was officially designated as the senior age grade team in the nation.

New Zealand is one of the most successful teams and is currently regarded as one of the main routes to the Bunnings NPC, Super Rugby, and All Blacks selection.

Before losing in 2012, 2013, and 2014, the New Zealand Under 20s had won the first four World Rugby Under 20 Championships from 2008 to 2011. Wins came back for New Zealand in 2015 and 2017. With three apiece from England and France, New Zealand has won the most titles of any country with six total.

The team play on Tuesday at 7pm NZT.

Wellington’s second 5/8th Originally listed as a non-traveling reserve, Tofuka Paongo enters the midfield and lines up next to vice captain Xavi Taele, who shifts to the centre.

Stanley Solomon will now be on the left, and Frank Vaenuku will take King Maxwell’s place on the right flank. Isaac Hutchinson is replaced at fullback by Sam Coles.

Cam Christie takes the field at lock for the forwards while Tom Allen moves to the bench. Crusader Johnny Lee shifts to the bench in the back row, and Matt Lowe takes over at openside flanker.

Two of the team’s five changes to the backline that began in the 13–13 opening draw against South Africa will come on Tuesday, May 7, when Dylan Pledger and Rico Simpson take the pitch as the new halves tandem.

What pumpkin released a really comprehensive email explaining the money issues for game 1. They also explained that Sarah did not work for them during the time she is speaking about and its 100% speculation. They got scammed out of almost all of their budget with the first game making company, then when they 'fired' them for lack of progress over the year, and the way they dodged meeting with Hussie in person the entire time, they did not get even close to what they expected in their refund. This refund was supposed to be the budget for the new company, which went on a freeze for rebudgeting then shut down due to inner conflict. There's a post on Tumblr where someone shared the entire email if you want the full story.

Pt 2: Ok my brain didn't connect the correct part of your post amd immediately thought Sarah was the one who was fired, but she is not. But by her own admission on the video her original source about the odd gentleman stuff is unreliable and incorrect. Her new source explained things and she has removed the link to any info provided by them, including the article link.

it’s not incorrect, it’s just unreliable for some people, but i 100% believe gio’s account of what happened because that shit was sourced and researched. Also, you gotta admit that 1. is kinda sus that kate at the homestuck 2 team and/or TOG are threatening the creator of the video (sarah) with legal action. follow that with a LOT of people leaving ur team recently and you have yourself in a pretty spotty situation. 2. the patreon was only to be funded for homestuck 2, but hussie himself tells in a update that the money is being used in pesterquest and hiveswap? *narrows eyes* sure, susan. and 3. from a purely game designer perspective (i went to college for this yall), you CANNOT HAVE ANYTHING DONE WITHOUT A GDD. that is the prime document that the entire team has to follow and it must be so detailed as to involve how programming is gonna go, how level design is gonna go, puzzles, art, EVERYTHING. TOG not receiving said document and working on assets for act 7, then being fired and going on doing king’s quest (which i imagine had proper documentation), then the sudden shutdown of the NYC studio where people were literally learning about them being fired via a blog post??? with no severance pay??? yikes

now, what i personally believe? andrew hussie bit WAY more than he could chew, had no fucking idea how to produce a game from scratch, wasted time and money fucking around and opening a fancy office in NYC for work that was COMPLETELY scraped at the end, and didn’t fulfill the promise to his backers/pledgers all those years ago. this was a damn scam, and a huge one if you ask me.

When Andrew Pledger and I were talking on his podcast, Surviving BJU: A Christian Cult, he mentioned a sermon he heard from a BJU ministerial student that told his nursing home resident audience that Satan lived in them.

I was kind of shocked that this heresy is still getting repeated at BJU.

I found that statement in Jim Berg's heretical Changed into His Image. The exact statement on page 36 is:

There can be little doubt that God sees our independent spirit--the very thing that the world considers a virtue--as the root problem of man. Our heart says, 'I will make life work my own way!' It raises a clenched fist toward the heavens and asserts, 'I will do it my way!' . . . Here then is the defiance of our flesh. . . . This fleshly nature is perpetually at war with God. It will not be subject. It will not be ruled. It is no wonder, then, that when we begin to submit to the Spirit of God as He works in our lives that our flesh rises up and resists that work of God. We possess within us a clone of Satan's own nature, and it violently opposes God

That's anti-Scriptural. Look for it. It's not there. It's actually a variation on the Bulgarian heresy, a kind of Manichean yin-yang.

It's anti-Gospel.

I first discovered this in 2005 and posted this on my old Xanga blog. Jim Berg heard about it, and he was not pleased. So we met at the Atlanta Bread Company in Cherrydale. I told him this statement was not Scriptural. He claimed it was just "literary flourish." He pretended to write down what I was saying. He ignored it all, of course.

When I brought this up again with Stephen Jones and Gary Weier in July 2007, Stephen said something like, "Oh, I never really paid attention when I was reading that. I just ignored it." Lonnie Polson told me the same thing.

Nobody pays attention, you see. Nobody. That's how heresy gets repeated over and over and over so that even Andrew Pledger -- some 17 years after the fact -- is traumatized by the same heresy from a ministerial student.

I compiled all the heresies from Jim Berg in a post in 2008, and I summarized it all as follows:

The redeemed are inhabited both by Satan's clone and God's Spirit, and these bitter enemies are at war inside us. "The world" joins the battle and attacks us with a sort of biochemical warfare where even casual and unprotected contact puts us at risk. Spiritual "surgical gloves" are necessary to protect our spiritual lives. Adding to the crisis, even in childhood the flesh/sin is a cancer eating away at our souls so that we need spiritual chemotherapy very early if God will use us at all. And if all goes well--if the clone gets resisted, the gloves are regularly used, and the chemotherapy works--ideally, we'll become God's submissive pet.

That is not at all what the Bible teaches. That is not the Good News!

What does the Bible actually say? See Romans 8. Paul says that the battle was over at the cross, and we're just cleaning up the damage now. We're through and through God's children, not His pets! He doesn't withhold His love waiting for us to act like we should. No father would! He loves us first just because He's chosen to.

THAT is Good News. BJU preaches the opposite.
