Original sketch | Limited edition fine art print from an original drawing. Anna Sewell was an English novelist who wrote the 1877 novel Black Beauty, her only published work. It is considered one of the top ten best-selling novels for children, although the author intended it for adults. My sketches start life as hand-drawn graphite images made on cartridge paper. I often work on these with charcoal, oil pastel or Caran d'Ache to create the look I'm after. The artwork is then scanned and finessed digitally ready for fine art printing. This process often referred to as Giclée printing uses the highest standard of printing methods to give gallery quality results that maintain all the details of the original sketch. The graphite pencils I use are Faber-Castel, the oil pastels are Sennelier and the china-graph is Caran d’Ache. The inks are pigment based archive quality (100years+). The heavyweight specialist papers I use are of the best professional quality having a wonderful surface designed specifically for fine art drawings and illustrations. Very limited editions with only ten per size printed. All artwork is signed and includes a certificate of authenticity. İngiltere doğumlu Anna Sewell’in 1877 yılında tamamladığı Siyah İnci adlı eseri, yazarının ilk ve tek romanı olmasına rağmen dünya edebiyatının en seçkin örnekleri arasında yer alıyor. Tüm zamanların en çok satan 100 kitabı arasındaki yerini bir asrı aşkın zamandır koruyan Siyah İnci, aynı zamanda Milli Eğitim Bakanlığının 100 Temel Eser listesinde de yer alıyor. My father loved ❤ horses very much and I've seen him stand in awe at Chite lui when a herd of horses galloped across the river. He watched them till they were out of sight and a while later appeared this well-groomed dark 🖤 one, trotting along its master with silky mane breezing through the clean air and legs buckled in strength reigning over the loamy soil, handsome as handsome can be. I heard him mouthed, 'A va mawi e,' as it passed us and briefly acquainted me of the stories he used to read: of cowboys 🤠 and hats, pistols 🔫 and horses.
