MY LIFE FOR THE GENERAL!

Years ago, I made a simple transmog around the MoP Death Knight Season 1 PvP set “Malevolent Gladiator Dreadplate” (seen in my profile pic and the header image)

That’s been my main set for transmog for years, and the design was loosely based on the armor and shape of the crypt lords (Anub’Rekhan, Anub’Arak, and so on)

I had just slapped on the full set with a troll sword and the ebon blade tabard for the longest time (slightly updated with the Warlords of Draenor challenge mode weapons with the Elemental Crescent Axe for dual-wielding) - but now, after running into the Nerubians in the newest expansion, and choosing to follow the General Anub’azal for the sect of Nerubians were friendly with, I couldn’t be happier. I won’t spoil the story, but all this is the say I updated my transmog to make it more spiky, more akin to an upgrade from just a simple set mog that suits my new Title as Anub’Neotoldir. Granted, the original story was my Hunter Toldir was raised as a Death Knight and renamed himself to Neotoldir. But, with this new “ Anub’ “ prefix title you get with your name once you hit Exalted with The General, I’ve been tempted to rename him to “Anub’Toldir” - bringing it full circle from when I first created him nearly 15 years ago when I first made my Death Knight. Eridan and Anub’azal would get along well I think. They can do their military autism together and complain about surface dwellers. I know for a fact that Anub’azal would be a better father than Eridans crappy lucus.

the crypt lord characters (the big stag beetle looking guys) in wow are so cool. I’ve never felt that anyone appreciated them enough. I’ve had a crush on Anub’arak for 10 years.
