PROLOGUE -> PT.1 -> PT.2

“i cannot…ah…just stay there…ah…while doing nothing…!” I said to myself while I was running without turning back as my drunk father yelled to me to come home and stop my “bullshits”.

I was still in my street, not running fast because of my heavy armor and sword. but the good side is that I wasn’t being chased by an alcoholic person that I call “father”.

so I stopped running for a while, my face all red because of the effort. I started walking out of Liones till I bump in someone with long white hair.

“ow…watch where you’re goin-“ I exclaimed till I face the person that turned back.

wait…

“sorry miss !!” said the freaking prince Tristan surrounded by his…friends ?

“o-oh ! do not apologise your majesty it’s for me I-“ I’ve been cut by him chuckling curiously. we know each other slightly, my dad know his dad a bit so we saw each other often.

“oh come on, (y/n), not those manners between us !!” he smiled at me after saying that. I smiled back but nervously, I was kinda hurry.

“oh okay, if you say so, Tristan” I chuckled softly between my words. I looked at the people behind him and looked at a girl that was clearly scaring me. she looked at me with furious eyes, that’s a girl I often saw around Tristan and two other guys.

“anyway, what were you doing in such a hurry ?” those words were from a guy I recognised between all : Lancelot. I frowned, knowing he knew about my abusive father. I then thought again about the fact that I needed to leave right the way.

“u-uh…doing exercises !!” I said seriously but nervous too because I was lying.

“LIAR !” screamed a blue haired girl from behind a lil man with a purple helmet. I jumped as she screamed and looked at her with wide eyes. how could she know anything about me and my reason to leave ??

“I-uh…excuse me…what ?” I said kinda nervous because of the feeling of all the gaze on me.

“I said : you’re lying” she said sure of herself.

“how can you be sure of that ?” I asked without any bad talking, I was just so confused. as she was going to talk about her “thing”, Lancelot explained.

“she can see when people are lying, blah blah blah… anyway, what. were. you. running. off. from ??” he frowned as Tristan did too. I started feeling stress in my tummy.

“I-uhh…I was-“ I’ve been cut again by Tristan touching my shoulder while saying with worried eyes.

“do you want me to call my father for any help ?? he could talk to your paren-“ he had been cut too by me saying clearly and loudly “nope !”

“DON’T CUT WHEN SIR PRINCE TRISTAN LIONES IS TALKING !” yelled the freaking scary girl that was staring at me badly since I got here.

the little kid with a purple helmet said with all his innocence which was so cute “hello ! I’m Percival ! who are you ?”

I jumped again “what are their problems ?? they are all talking at the same time : there’s a girl screaming at me “liar” another tell me life lessons, a boy is presenting himself and Tristan is saying if I need help of his father !!”

before I could say it, Lancelot did it : “wow, guys, you’re all talking at the same time ! calm down !!”

I felt my tension decrease slowly as I looked at the little boy and said with a nice smile “hey ! I’m (y/n) nice to meet you Percival !”

he smiled and chuckled before saying “nice to meet you too !”

“anyways guys i really need to go now…for my reasons.” I started walking forward again before a hand placed on my shoulder.

“will we met again, (y/n) ?” said Tristan with a worried look before I saw Lancelot having the same look. I chuckled before turing to them.

“of course we will, I promise”

he smiled as a relief before I waved to them and ran back out of Liones.

as I ran out of Liones, a bag of clothes in my hands, I couldn’t stop thinking about ‘what if Tristan tell his dad ??’

but I trust Tristan, he know that I wasn’t okay with it, he wouldn’t do it…right ?

I stopped running when I bumped into someone in the stable at the exit of Liones. the shock ad a sound of two metals hitting each other. am I bumping into everyone now or what ?

“excuse me” I said not bothering looking at the man, a knight to be more precise.

the man said nothing, just looking at me weirdly. he was looking at me like some model that needed to be perfect. suddenly he touched my hair, I then gasped, reminding of an old memory. I then slapped his hand out of my hairs and looked furiously at him.

“what do you think you’re doing ?!” I exclaimed calmly but with a furious tone.

“would you see yourself as a queen ?”

my eyes widen, what was he on about ?? I felt the aura of others knights hiding somewhere. I felt my breath heavier. and looked at him to respond.

“what are you talking about, you fool ? I won’t marry Tristan !!” I exclaimed slightly confused. I started walking to my horse, trying to get out of this…trap I think ?

“I’m not talking of Liones here” he said with a more serious tone. his eyes locked on me, trying to look at my body trough my armor.

I gasped as I prepared my horse, nearly finished so I can ran out.

“w-well…no, I know it’s some random jokes. now if you’ll excuse me” I said as he chuckled after it. I jumped on my horse looking at him from the top of my horse.

he smiled and said “we’ll see about that then. we will met again, and this time we will take you and bring you to our king”.

I gasped and turn my horse around and started going away from the stable and them. why is this day so awful ??

as hours passed fast, my horse felt more and more tired and the was going to let his place to the moon. I then thought that I needed to stop at an hostel. I then went to closer village from where I was.

when I finally saw a village where people lived peacefully. I put my horse in the stable of the village. and then rushed in the hostel, it was already the night.

the hostel was a small one. after I prayed, wishing there was still free rooms, I entered in.

“hello ma’am ! how can I help you ?” said the person directly when I entered : which makes me jump.

“hello, can I get a room for tonight. I’m alone” I smiled slightly at the old man.

“uuh…let me check…yeah…we have still two rooms free so you can get a room” said the old man as he took a key behind him. “It’ll be the room 5”

I took the keys and said thanks and good night as I started walking to my room. when I entered, I heard loud man laugh on the room beside mine, great. I entered my room and started taking my shower.

as I stopped the water and was ready to dry myself, I stopped. I was frozen in place as I heard the conversation of my neighbours.

“yeah…ahah ! King Arthur is searching for a wife…I think our mission is over since we found this girl thus morning in the stable…ahahah, it was quick !”

wait…

what did he said ??!

I started panicking, my first move is to grab my towel and dry myself with a fast and nervous way. ‘(y/n), you’re completely alone right now, if they happen to see you…as the knights of King Arthur…you’re dead’

this night, I didn’t slept well : you know why.

the next morning got really fast. you woke up, got ready and got out of your room to checkout the night as the freaking knights were in the bar of the hostel. you gasped, panicking again when the old man called you loudly.

“good morning ma’am ! was everything okay ?”

you wanted to crush his face against his fucking desk. you took a big inspiration and walked in. feeling the gaze of the knights.

“I’d like to checkout” you said as you glared at the poor old man. you then payed and walked fast out of the hostel but…a hand grabbed your shoulder.

“we met again…ma’am” said the knight of the other day. I decided to act dumb :

“excuse me, who are you ?” you said as you grabbed his hand on your shoulder, put it away and glared at him.

“oh, don’t worry, you’ll know soon”

“wait,wha-“ after this, I felt a big blow on the said of my head that knocked me down…

• Maybe his relationship with the Lady of the Lake cause we don't know if it was positive or not ?

• Jericho LEAVING him ALONE ( LIKE WTF HOW COULD YOU)

• Him feeling tremendously guilty about it despite the whole ordeal not being his fault .

• FORCES himself to not see his parents again till he bring that bitch home cause he wants to reunite his family, and wants his parents to be proud of him and wants that whole traumatic experience to be WORTH something .

• DISCOVERS THAT BITCH IS A PREDATOR AND SHE ABANDONNED HIS ASS TO CREAT A WEIRD SEX TOY VERSION OF HIMSELF (he must've felt so disturbed 😭)

• FAILS TO BRING HER BACK

• LOSES HIS BEST FRIEND AND LITTLE BROTHER ( PERCY AND LANCE R BROTHERS IDGAF )

Ahhh if maybe I can request a continuation from the Guinevere!Reader request? Like after the events of 7DS when Arthur gained Chaos he slowly starts to change to how he is in 4KOA. She gets worried and Arthur assures her that he's still the same but seeing as the change becomes worse she soon after escapes and goes into hiding in hopes of finding a way to save him until after the incident in Liones (4KOA) and later is brought back to Camelot. (We'll assume Guinevere!Reader has the same power as...the loli but did a better job in hiding her powers.)

Arthur Pedragon King of Chaos x Guinevere!Reader: 4 knights of apocalypse.

Warnings: SPOILERS FROM THE MANGA OF NANATSU NO TAIZAI AND 4 KNIGHTS OF THE APOCALYPSE!! Arthur with chaos, Angst- some comfort, some soft yandere?? rather Arthur in 4kota being his own warning, reader has the power of a kaleidoscope (can see the future), mentions of death, somewhat long work, I think that's all.

FIRST PART FOR CONTEXT

You didn't like to remember what happened during the holy war. Neither of the you two wanted.

All the humans who died, the friends lost, how Arthur had died, even if it was temporary, it was something that would remain forever in your mind and heart.

only for the total destruction of Camelot to occur shortly after.

The war was won, yes, but at what cost...

It took a toll on both of them.

A part of you felt guilty for not having been able to prevent this future scenario with your power, but Arthur was always quick to tell you you didn't have to feel that way, after all going against destiny was much more dangerous and unpredictable.

Arthur, even with all the loss he had suffered in that time, was happy that you were safe and by his side, he wouldn't change that.

Even if the words of support felt good, you could see right through him, and how the situation had definitely damaged him severely.

not only for his lost arm, but for his damaged spirit.

and it was something else that changed him...

The chaos.

Of course, at the time you did not accept that Merlin used Arthur as a vessel for that thing, but it was not in your power to decide, now, with things as they were, you could see more clearly how Chaos affected Arthur.

Even if it was in his general aura, it made him more threatening, colder...menacing.

He did not direct this attitude towards you! With you, in general terms, he was still the same Arthur that you fell in love with, that you married... but he started to change little by little.

Arthur became considerably more clingy after all the trauma he had gone through in the holy war, at first you even considered it normal, if it weren't for the fact that later it could have been seen as a warning sign.

Arthur is more clingy with chaos, he slowly clings to what he has left in the war, in this case, YOU.

For this reason, he begins to show certain tendencies or amplify those he already had, for example, his protection over you.

I have the personal hc that at first Arthur's outbursts due to the chaos only came to light (initially) in moments of high tension(like in the anime), so the first stage of "infection" so to speak passed quite unnoticed.

However, it does not mean that it did not have worrying moments.

Related to the above, Arthur would literally have quite serious fits of rage if you went on, for example, a small reconnaissance mission with Knights and ended up injured.

and I'm not talking about just "getting angry" I mean he might even deploy his sword with them (you'll have to do something if you want the Knights to come out alive, another warning sign...).

At this point, Arthur begins to show more of the side we see in 4kota, although quite Lowkey.

but it doesn't mean he doesn't say some pretty dark things.

For example, his dislike of other races is becoming more and more evident. especially demons.

Even if you want to understand what's happening to him, you can't, not when you see it and you KNOW that this will end very badly...

I don't think Arthur is confrontational, but you definitely don't sit back and watch him talk bad about the races he fought SIDE BY SIDE in the war. Didn't that matter to him anymore? Now they were all the same to him. the?only evil beings who want to harm humanity?

Arthur has the ability to not shout or take fights to extreme levels, but the worst thing is that he also does not deny anything or leave the argument halfway. which only confirms that his ideas are becoming increasingly solid and dangerous.

Unfortunately you cannot see a future where you change his ideas permanently. at least not now. while Arthur becomes more radical day by day.

but at least you know VERY well what this change is due to: Chaos.

It's the first step in undoing the damage, but it's difficult to do it on your own while Chaos has more and more control over Arthur.

He continues to be a good and loving husband to you... I listen to his opinions and ideas... you don't know what to do.

By the time he has the whole plan to use Britannia to rebuild Camelot at the cost of the lives of the other races and to destroy EVERYTHING in favor of an "eternal kingdom"... that's when you start planning.

you need to find a way to get Chaos out of Arthur.

But first you should get away from him, no matter how discouraging it may be. You love your husband, but for that reason you must leave him to SAVE HIM.

Using your Kaleidoscope, you were able to find the perfect way out of "Camelot" before anyone noticed.

and as soon as you were out of that bubble, you began your journey towards Britannia.

To say that Arthur was distraught at first would be an understatement.

Let's say that at first Arthur thinks you were kidnapped, it's that serious.

He has his knights rushing out to go look for you (fearing for their lives when they return without you or clues to your whereabouts) and Arthur is VERY tempted to go on his own to look for you in every corner of the continent.

but he cannot leave the kingdom for too long. Plus he doesn't want to scare you (when he realizes that you left of your own free will).

and Chaos in a way operates a little on their thoughts so that the following happens.

In the time that follows, you continue traveling to various parts of the continent in search of a cure for Arthur.

Have you tried to go with fairies, with giants, alchemists, magicians, etc.

but you can't find anything useful.

apart from the fact that you are constantly avoiding Arthur's Knights, whether they are specially sent to look for you or they are simply there for "recruitment".

You were able to easily keep a low profile, hiding your Kaleidoscope power from people knowing that that would be what could (probably) give you away.

Having seen everything the small towns had to offer, and unable to return to Carmelide safely by Arthur's knights, you made a hasty decision.

You went to see the deadly sins to ask them for help. but first of all, to King Meliodas.

without knowing that that was precisely what Arthur wanted.

Arthur knew you well enough to know that even if you knew you shouldn't avoid the future, he had to be cautious about when he wanted to bring you back.

From there, he wouldn't care much about the matter of destiny, but definitely with the prophecy of the Knights of the Apocalypse around, he saw the perfect moment to start his plan.

NOW, during this time, Arthur became the version we know of 4kota, deceptively friendly but very lethal, more sadistic, but more relaxed so to speak.

He sees this situation as even fun now (being completely infected by chaos), and he honestly can't wait to have you back and see what trick you had up your sleeve.

The Knights know it, "Merlin" knows it, all of "Camelot" knows it, he misses you. and he is anxious for you to return to him.

He was definitely anxious because you did a good job hiding for so long, he lost track of you many times (it's not like his Knights had it easy), but at least now that he's sure where you're going, he can send someone who KNOWS finish the job at once.

After a while, you arrived in Liones, determined to reach Meliodas, when you saw the vision...

you being taken to Camelot by a knight named IronSide.

damn.

There wouldn't be time to find what you originally came looking for, but maybe you could warn them about Arthur, change things, for the better.

but it would be difficult to keep a low profile, especially knowing that Arthur's Knight would be lurking. It took you a while to get close.

Meliodas was happy to see you after so long! but he definitely got serious when you said your reason for coming was for Arthur. that he was planning something against Liones, that he had to protect the children from the prophecy (especially Percibal).

and not kill Arthur before you could find a cure for him...

It was at that moment that Megagaland attacked.

oh geez, you have to hide again. you thought and went to your current hiding place.

You weren't that surprised to see that someone was already there...

Ironside...

Arthur could feel when you and Ironside entered Camelot, he could only think 'finally'.

finally someone does their job well, finally everything is back to normal-

You are finally back with him.

The feeling he had before of anticipation becomes more palpable, he is anxiously waiting for you to get to where he is, in the throne room.

and he feels calm, knowing that now he not only has the tactical advantage in this little war, but that he has his dear companion with him. What more could he ask for?

He's anticipating what he's going to say to you... after so much time.

Surprisingly you are also anticipating. You don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing.

You have closely followed the atrocious acts that Arthur has done in the past and continues to do. He is even willing to kill children in order to follow this "everlasting kingdom" for the love of God...

But you know he won't hurt you. He didn't do it before, he won't do it now. no matter how much it changes.

and even if it is difficult to admit. you miss him. He is your husband after all.

but you also miss how everything was before Chaos intervened.....how you would like to help him-

No, you're going to save him...somehow.

even if now you'll probably have to help him with your kaleidoscope...

is what you think as you go with Ironside to what appears to be the lair of the Knights of Chaos.

You (without Ironside, apparently) are transported to the throne room, and see, for the first time in years, Arthur.

He's barely changed physically, advantages of chaos, you suppose, he looks so deceptively innocent...

and meanwhile Arthur can only be grateful that you are finally here...

Do you have any idea how much you worried him when you left? with nothing to say, just leave... but you came back, he can't be mad at you, not when he's been waiting so long to have you this close again...

Far from being angry or minimally irritated with this "act of rebellion," he seems rather amused, even touched, as if what you had done was adorable...he seems happy.

and in some ways, it's contagious. You don't let your guard down, but you can allow yourself this little moment with your husband...

But when he stands up from his throne, he turns towards you and with an expression that reminds you of when everything was fine, he tells you:

Hi do you still take requests if so I have one in mind.(basically angst with the happy ending)

So what if aruthur and y/n were like meliodas and Elizabeth except it was only y/n that got cursed and once he got his power of chaos he was able to lift the curse the only consequences is that she forgets her romantic feelings with him, until he finds something special in their memories that would help her remember and then they get married (the special thing would be maybe something like a necklace he gave her when they were kids)

Lol I have alot of ideas for aruthur but sometimes I just can't put it out right😅

I did these as headcanons since I thought I wouldn't be able to flesh out the idea well, but I'm now very proud of it! I think these headcanons can be a very good start if I ever want to make a xReader out of this (or anyone). I tried to do them in the most canon way to the series timeline and without altering the characters we know. Hope you like them!

Arthur and his S/O if they were cursed similar to Meliodas and Elizabeth

Since only Y/N is being cursed with Elizabeth's curse, and assuming Arthur is a human (and so he has the lifespan of one and can't resurrect, at least until having Chaos), I'm guessing Y/N had to be cursed after they met while being kids, but without passing too much time in between both events. If not, the timeline would be a little strange. (Arthur gets Chaos canonically very fast if you think about it, just 16 years in comparison to the 3000+ years Meliodas had to endure with both curses)

Also, Y/N should have been cursed by someone who isn't the Demon King or the Supreme Deity, because it wouldn't make sense for them to be the ones. And the best next contender for that has to be Merlin.

Why is she being cursed? Maybe Merlin didn't want Arthur to be distracted from her goal, and so she took advantage of their relationship and forced Arthur to unlock his full potential, knowing well he would do everything to save his S/O from the curse. Neither Arthur nor Y/O knows that Merlin is responsible. Arthur asks Merlin for help, so of course everything goes according to her plan

Y/N has to be very unlucky to die several times, taking into account Arthur is still young and a human (Elizabeth dies at 28 y.o. on average, and Arthur will be able to solve everything in less than 16 years). So maybe she died like 2 or 3 times, max. 4 - 5 (if she was cursed let's say at 6 y.o, that would mean she dies every 2 years)

And if she dies, she can't reencarnate as a baby or Arthur would outlive her easily (and would be very creepy). So I'm guesing she reencarnates in someone close in age to Arthur.

To sum it up until now: Y/N is cursed by Merlin with Elizabeth's curse in an attempt to unlock Arthur's full potential faster. She dies a few times, every 2 years aprox. Like Elizabeth, Y/N always finds Arthur and falls in love with him, only to remember everything and die in 3 days.

This is assuming his canon information. If you wanted to think of it as them being demon/goddess then I don't think the story would be any different since you are just changing the protagonists but keeping the same formula

Back to the present: Arthur gets Chaos and is able to lift the curse, Merlin is also satisfied with the result (at least for now). However Arthur notices something strange, as if her S/O had some kind of amnesia, since she doesn't reciprocate his feelings (which were reciprocated until lifting the curse a few minutes ago)

Arthur worries a lot and explains her the situation, which is useless since Y/N doesn't remember anything of them being in a relationship. He makes his next objective being able to make Y/N fall in love with him, alongside making a country were no one suffers (he is a King after all)

With the passing of time he noticed that nothing he did made Y/N fall in love with him, which made him spiral into darkness and despair for some time, making him closer the 4kota Arthur we know

That was until one day he found in one well stored box a beautifully crafted necklace, which he inmediately recognized as the one he had gifted Y/N years ago when vowing to save her and marry her one day, and that was also discovered in the corpse of that same Y/N after the curse had made its appearence

It was more and more painful to make the same promise to every reencarnation only to end in death, that's why he stored it and put it away.

But now that problem had disappeared. Arthur took the necklace and went back to were Y/N was, just to gift it to her once and for all. To his surprise Y/N's eyes widened after seeing it in her hands - "I remember now..."

Both looked at each other with surprised looks on their faces. After so many years, war was over.

when we finished my dressing, in my head i had the plan to run out directly when i got out of this room. "here, Lady Seria, you look stunning" said the waitress as other ones gasped in shock of i think...my beauty ? I stood up to look at how i was looking when my eyes widen in front of the mirror.

my long white wavy hair where let out on my white satin dress full of details with gold details on the extremities of the dress, my neck fully exposed with my shoulders exposed too, a square neckline with a purple set of necklace and earrings.

i took a deep breath as i smiled and turn around the waitresses "thank you, girls. please answer me just one question...do you know an easy way out of this castle ?"

as i prepared myself out, i opened the door and rushed to the way the waitress told me when i bumped into someone. i fell on the floor as it touched my nose bleeding. "hey watch where you're going !"

you look up to see two knights glaring at you, then suddenly they two took a arm of yours and started walking with you as you bleed of the nose.

“wait ! what are you doing ??” you said as you tried to go off of them, stirring your arms but nothing happened, you felt pain in your arms.

“to the throne room, Lady Seria” you gasped, nervous as your eyes widen when they stopped in front of a door. The red armor knight waiting for you.

the guard let you to the red armor knight by throwing you to him, you wiped you nose bleeding, and step in the room.

“hello, Ironside. I see you bring my bride…” a voice said as you shivered looking down, your breath heavy. the knight put a knee on the ground and bow to the king and said.

“hello, your majesty. yes, this is Lady Kay Seria from Liones. a holy knight from Liones, your majesty” he said, that was funny how his voice changed with the king. he turned at you glaring to you. you understood why, you looked up to the King, already looking at you. your eyes widen as you jumped and directly bow.

his presence was freaking me out. “good, the wedding is tomorrow.” you gasped, it was early !! you need to find a way out before tomorrow…

“of course, your majesty. she’ll be ready” he said, I saw him sweating as he talked to the King, I wanted to laugh so hard seeing him like that.

“but first, Merlin. make her queen…of chaos” your eyes widen, you didn’t knew about that as you looked up directly, ready to say something when Ironside whispered to you. “don’t you dare say no.” you gasped as Merlin step closer to you. touching your shoulder when you changed of room.

then four noble person came with cords, it was the ritual. you both joined hands and smiled at each other.

Warnings: very slight Angst, Comfort and Much FLUFF. Childhood Friends to Lovers trope, Reader has the characteristics of Guinevere from the myths(screw the Loli).

You come from the kingdom of Carmelide, a generations-long ally of the Pendragon. and by extension, from Camelot.

So it was not unusual for your family to go to said kingdom for political reasons or to try to help in the search for the new king/queen, who should be the one worthy to lift the legendary sword.

but you were a little girl, you didn't really understand those things very well at that age, so they let you wander around the kingdom (with an escort) while the adults did what they had to do.

So, on one of those outings, you ran into Arthur (who was trying not to leave behind the one you assumed was his brother).

When Arthur first saw you, he immediately recognized that you were royalty, so he bowed cheekily and apologized for almost bumping into you. and he asked you directly if you were a princess, because of how pretty you were.

He left you a little off guard, but luckily you were able to come back to your senses when your escorts almost attacked him for thinking he was too close, you told them to leave him alone, that he was a friend.

When your escorts took some distance, you and Arthur ended up spending a good part of the day together, learning more about each other and so on, you discovered that his father was a holy knight, that his brother (Kai) was an idiot (he didn't say it, but because of how he described him you didn't like him) and that he dreamed of becoming a knight himself.

It was nice to be able to be with someone your age without having to constantly worry about etiquette and manners.

So from then on, you and Arthur began to see each other almost every day, at whatever gathering your family had, you would go out and go see him, you would catch up and play normal kid things (Arthur especially liked to play to be "the knight who rescues the beautiful princess")

you two would also go on mini picnics! After playing for a while in the forests of the kingdom, you and Arthur would find some firm and more or less clean place (Arthur always insisted that you not dirty your "expensive" clothes) and eat apples :3

You felt good with Arthur because you could finally be a girl and not just a princess of Carmelide. and Arthur felt good about you because you were sweet and kind despite your seemingly privileged position.

They both complemented each other very well.

Although the more time you spent with Arthur and both of them grew up, the romantic tension increased considerably, but neither of them did anything about it, maybe they were just a little afraid of losing the friendship they had been having.

but then Arthur managed to raise the sword on the stone, being proclaimed the new King.

and it was...a shock, to say the least.

Everything was a set of good and bad news in a short time, which did not help the shock much.

On the one hand you felt that Arthur was getting what he really deserved, to be the leader of the kingdom he loved.

but now that the new King of Camelot was present, Carmelide's advisory services would not be necessary (unless there was a great threat of course), which meant that you would no longer be allowed to go to Camelot alone.

They even told you that it would not be appropriate for you to continue seeing Arthur unless they proposed an alliance through marriage.

which was the straw that broke the camel's back. You felt very bad for days.

but at least thanks to that your family decided and arranged for you and Arthur to have one LAST outing before you had to return permanently to Carmelide.

and if it was, you and Arthur kept it calmer than normal, wanting to enjoy each other's company knowing that it would be a while before you saw each other again.

I don't know they said anything romantic as such, but they did make several things clear, they were going to miss each other, Arthur was going to miss sneaking you out, you were going to miss playing with him and having adventures.

At the end of the outing, you asked him for one last favor.

You made him intertwine his pinky with yours and you promised him that you would see him again when he was King and that he would do the same.

It didn't take long for Arthur to do the same, he promised you that even if he were king, he would do everything possible to see you again.

and with that promise in mind, you returned to Carmelide.

Time passed, and you tried to handle the loneliness as best as possible, training yourself to be the best princess possible for the kingdom. your family was satisfied.

although they were definitely taken by surprise when Henrykson and the demons happened.

Your family was alarmed, the kingdom could be in crisis, they would have to train their sacred knights more harshly and, above all, re-establish relations with Camelot and its current King.

And to kill time he thought about how you would be or how you would be now, how everything will be in your kingdom, how YOU will be.

And when the day of the reunion arrived, both were filled with feelings.

You were the one who had to go to Camelot, which in itself brought back many pleasant childhood memories that helped you be less nervous.

Not only was he the king you were going to see, he was also a friend (and maybe something else).

and when you arrived before Arthur and they were both in the same place... it was like everything stopped for a moment.

Arthur's mind was like: no thoughts, nothing, just you.

and you were absorbing everything new about this "new Arthur" before you, he looked taller, he was in his king's armor, but he definitely gave off a certain kind aura.

You felt like you could relax with him again.

and it was.

Fortunately, Arthur only became even friendlier over time, more mature, he was still someone sincere with a heart of gold. You were grateful that he still had room to see you as a special friend and not just an alliance partner.

and Arthur was not far behind, he saw that you had become more elegant, finer and straighter, but you still had a friendly character destined for people, someone charming.

The comings and goings to Camelot became a constant in your life again and it was honestly beautiful, you could see the changes that Arthur was making in Camelot and he was very happy to have you back.

He talked a lot about his training for the King, sometimes you even helped him as he was better versed in various things related to regulations and etiquette.

He may even talk to you about the Deadly Sins! I mean, few people don't know who they are, but hearing Arthur talk about them so excitedly is definitely something else.

(if you get to know them, they definitely make the typical lovebird jokes 🤣)

I can see Arthur being more open with his romantic feelings at this point.

Of course, in the time that you weren't together maybe one could say that it was just a childish crush, but now that you are together again, and that he can continue to love and appreciate this mature version of you, he can say that he is in love.

now the nickname "princess" or "lady" can be used both ironically and non-ironically xd simply for Arthur You are a princess :3)

And for your part, you cannot say that it is unilateral either.

Arthur loves you and appreciates you regardless of the title and the label, even now that he is THE KING and he SHOULD care, he doesn't, he only cares about you. You can't help but feel very appreciated by him.

even making your own advances (against what your family would consider "appropriate")

you two spent a good time making up for lost time, catching up with each other and so on, and that tension they used to have when they were younger seemed to resurface.

only this time it seemed like they were more prepared for the possibility of being SOMETHING ELSE.

Who knows, maybe a marriage alliance isn't such a bad idea after all.

At least, not if is with YOU/HIM.

When the requests where Open again,.we can get a King of Chaos Arthur witha very Shy s/o??

I made it as a small scenario since I thought it would fit better, but ended up being a little bit longer that my usual small scenarios. Still not as long as a full on x Reader, so I don't know how to label it. Hope you like it!

King of Chaos Arthur with a very shy S/O: Small scenario

"Do not fail me. Once. Again."

A slam on his armrest and the reunion was dismissed. Arthur's knights had failed once again in trying to capture the four knights of the apocalypse, or at least just one of them. The king was furious. He gave them powers, clues, advice, and they returned nothing (Or what's worse, they returned defeated by four teenagers)

No one dared to lift their head, Arthur hadn't given the order even if he had finished talking. They knew a wrong movement from their part would mean receiving a punishment, and Chaos' punishments weren't merciful at all

The silence was suddenly broken by the creeking of one door, from where one head peeked shyly, followed by a quiet "I'm sorry!" and the door closing to its initial state

After a few seconds Arthur got up from his throne and walked towards that same door

"You were lucky today, you can go now" He said, without giving them a mere glance. His knights saluted in unison and waited for him to leave the room.

Outside, Arthur walked through the hallway with no expression on his face. That was until his lips turned into a smile when he saw a familiar silhoutte.

"Y/N! My love! ~ "

A flustered girl turned around to face him, playing nervously with her hands.

"I didn't know you were still talking with them, I didn't mean to interrupt. I'm sorry"

"No, no, you don't need to apologize at all. It was my fault, I was taking too long to finish it. But now that is over I can give you all my attention. Tell me, what did you need?"

"It's nothing important really, I just wanted to ask you something. I saw from here a piece of land full of flowers, but I don't know how to get there. Do you perhaps know how?"

Arthur looked at the ceiling and continued walking

"Hmm... let me see which island you are talking about and I'll tell you"

Since Camelot was made from different chunks of land floating around, it offered a wide selection of landscapes. Flower fields, rocky hills, some mountains here and there, even paths surrounded by ancient statues and pillars; everything intertwined with each other. Some of them were easily accesible, others had magical places which permitted the entrance via spells, some were connected by floating rocks that didn't give off safe vibes if you were to be honest

Arthur walked up to one of the windows near them and looked outside, finding the place his S/O had mentioned floating in the middle of nowhere as expected

"Okay, now I see it. It seems like you'll need to take a floating path starting from the big one down there... but maybe I should talk to one of the knights to accompany you, just to make sure you reach the field safely. What do you think? I would do it myself but those knights of the apocalypse have been giving me lots of work lately"

Y/N smiled nervously at the suggestion.

"One of your knights? Is it really necessary? I mean, I don't want to bother them, I'm sure they have more important things to do as you just said"

"Don't worry about it, there's always someone available. What about Pellegarde? I'm sure he will be happy with it"

Arthur looked back to her smiling sweetly, waiting for her answer

"Pellegarde... you see... he's very friendly and all, but he has too much energy... I don't even know how to answer him sometimes. Last time he accompannied me I couldn't stop thinking about how he must have thought that I'm a strange one..."

"I don't think Pellegarde thought about that, I'm sure he thinks you are quite adorable ~" A small laugh escaped his lips with a subtle blush on his cheeks. "But what about Ironside then? He doesn't talk as much as him"

Y/N looked down to the floor, putting her hands behind her back while thinking about it.

"Yeah... but at the same time it's even more uncomfortable knowing he's there, watching, but no being able to maintain a conversation with him... He's kinda intimidating, as if I was doing something wrong the whole time"

Arthur touched his chin with his hand, thinking about the scenario and nodding along her words

"I think I understand it. He takes very seriously his job... maybe Mortlach would be a better option?"

"I guess? But I heard he's taking care of Ironside's son when he is on a mission". She shrugged, looking back to the king.

Arthur arched his eyebrow, still smiling, tilting his head softly in a confused way while separating himself from the window.

"My sweet Y/N, you don't seem to enjoy any of their presence, is something bothering you? Did they do something to you? You can tell me, I can't let anyone hurt you. They will receive their punishment even if they are my most precious knights"

"It's not them, don't worry!" She shook her hands in the air, sighed deeply and spoke with a soft voice while lowering her head. "They aren't the problem. You know I'm not that good at being alone with people and having to make conversation with them... I prefer to just be alone by myself, or at least with you, you are the only person which I can be comfortable and talk easily around. But I understand you are busy most of the time. I hoped you could tell me how to get there and get going by myself, but that doesn't seem like an option so I'll just wait or think about whatever other thing I can do"

"Oooh... so that is the problem, mmh..." Arthur closed his eyes, trying to come up with a solution under his S/O's gaze. "If that's so, I need to check the next appointments and see what I can do. I would let you go by yourself but I prefer going with you"

He opened his eyes and looked at her smiling S/O, giggling to himself and patting her head.

"Thinking about it, it will do me good after all these bad news I've been getting. Well thought my dear Y/N, I wasn't expecting less from you"
