Dakar Future: La apuesta del Dakar por desarrollar nuevas tecnologías comienza a rendir frutos 

El automovilismo siempre ha sido el campo de pruebas para los vehículos de calle, pero en la competición de alto nivel en algún punto de los 90 y los 2000 esto dejó de ser tan cierto y la mayoría de las tecnologías que aparecieron en los autos de carrera de Fórmula 1, Le Mans o series similares solo servirían en un auto de competición o pista. El Dakar, por su parte, siempre había sido un lugar donde hacer experimentos y dónde las marcas probaban ideas, pero tal vez faltaba darle un sentido y una visión, que llevara a estas ideas a tener un mismo propósito más allá de la agenda de cada constructor. Así nació Dakar Future, donde acompañado por la mayor libertad de reglas que caracterizan al rally raid de otras categorías de pista o el WRC, las marcas e incluso preparadores más pequeños han comenzado a probar soluciones que si tienen mucho futuro en nuestros autos de calle.

La aventura de llegar a la meta se volvió más compleja en nuestra era: También queremos llegar a la meta con un desafío de ir más allá en la propulsión de nuestros prototipos. Precursores en esto fueron los preparadores del prototipo eléctrico Acciona EcoPowered en Sudamérica, pero ahora es casi una norma que los equipos principales están haciendo más verde su recorrido en la ruta algunos años antes de que sea impuesto por ASO y la FIA.

Tenemos a Audi con el proyecto más ambicioso de todos con el prototipo híbrido pero que usa solo motores eléctricos para los ejes motrices. Audi busca ganar la carrera luego es un esfuerzo titánico para ser parejo con los autos de combustión y ya hizo historia ganando etapas en 2022. HINO también luchará por mantener su récord de triunfos en su categoría con un camión híbrido. Pero en algo que tendrá particular relevancia en la industria automotriz de los próximos años, hay muchos equipos probando biocombustibles que reducen la huella de carbono de la combustión. En este mundo tenemos a Prodrive, que utiliza principalmente un biocombustible desarrollado por ellos junto a la especialista Coryton. Este es un auto que pelea por ganar el Dakar con Sebastien Loeb y dónde no se puede regalar ni una milésima a los rivales. A este camino se han sumado el Repsol Rally Team con un biocombustible para Isidre Esteve desarrollado por Repsol pensando en la industria y Astara Team, que llegará a un 90% de la propulsión con este método. Astara es una compañía de movilidad y tiene divisiones automotrices. Buggyra Tatra propulsará sus camiones con el nuevo biodiesel HVO. 

Más allá en estos pasos ha ido el equipo KH-7 Epsilon que será el primero en integrar al hidrógeno en la competición intentando proveer a su camión 6X6 hasta un 50% de la energía con H2 reduciendo el consumo de diesel. Y Cyril Despres y Guerlain Chicherit están trabajando en prototipos 100% hidrógeno que debieran estrenarse en los próximos años.

Al darle un mensaje conjunto a los esfuerzos verdes, el Dakar está logrando avanzar hacia un cambio de propulsión mucho más rápido que otras categorías motor y también con un sentido pensado en la industria automotriz.

BACKSTORY: My mom died when she gave me birth and my dad died at work, I’ve been placed in a orphanage but get attacked by villains demons and they burned the village, it’s how I discovered my magic: light manipulation. I joined a guild and quit years after and after that I find my own apartment and get a job in journalism, Lucy was coincidentally my neighbour and we were close friends, so I joined Fairy Tail at the same time as her and quit my journalism job.

RELATIONSHIP : I don’t have a s/o yet (but if I’ve to choose I’ll take Gray Fullbuster)

Lucy Heartfilia: she’s my bestfriend and I know her since she moved into her apartment, I immediately became friends with her and I was here when she met Natsu and Happy and it’s how we joined Fairy Tail, later we decided to break the walls between our two apartments and became roommates.

Erza Scarlet: she’s like my older sister, we are close and she talks to me about her problems, I admire her.

But I’m in Team A and I shift to the the arc when they presented Jellal and Erza’s backstory.

LIGHT MANIPULATION:

• it’s totally like shadow manipulation but lighter

• empower and energise anything touched or used (usually a weapon) with light

• create bomb/explosion of light

• use light to cut objects

• send out a wave of light that repels everything

• Create and launch sphere of light

• Emit light beams to one’s eyes

• I use light reflection to be invisible

• Idk if I script I’m dragon slayer but I think I will

Limitation: I may require outside source of light to create an attack (my light is weaker the night) but I process to eat light or fire to regain power like Natsu.

(No way I’m winning a fight with that, I don’t have many examples of light’s users 💀😭 but it’s okay I scripted I can’t lose a fight and of course I’m the strongest because it’s not funny if I’m dying every single time 😝 but I follow the plot and the enemies AREN’T JOKING)

I appeared in the Sorcerer Magazine to be the best journalist of the month before I quit.

One day I accidentally walk on Happy’s tail and he didn’t talk to me for 1 weeks

I help Lucy to do her laundry everyday because Natsu always jump into her bed, all sweaty

When a villain is attractive i always tell Lucy, she agree with me and Erza always give us a death stare

When Natsu is asleep in the guild, I draw things on his face and accuse Gray and they always fighting even they know it’s me.

I accidentally had a heart attack one day because Natsu hide below my bed and waited i was in my bed and almost asleep to come out of hiding and yelled at me.

I avoid to walk near to the shore because one day I fell in it when passers-by told me to not walk near because I would fall 💀

The guild is like a family, there are fight but it’s never serious and nobody die or get injured

Laia Sanz se integra al Astara Team para el Dakar 2023

La piloto catalana Laia Sanz correrá para el Astara Team en el Dakar 2023, con un prototipo basado en el Century CR6 y modificado para competir con los autos de la clase T1+. Laia volverá a competir con Maurizio Gerini de navegante en una dupla que funcionó bien en su debut en el Dakar 2022. La estructura española del Astara Team también contará con Carlos Checa y Oscar Fuertes como pilotos en otros dos buggies.

“Muy contenta de formar parte del proyecto Astara y correr el próximo Dakar con un Century preparado por SMC Motorsport. Tenía claro que tenía que dar un paso adelante y espero q con estos compañeros d viaje, y con Maurizio Gerini al lado, podré hacerlo. Muchas ganas de dar gas!” declaró Laia en sus redes sociales.

Si bien el Century CR6 modificado representa un salto de calidad para Laia en comparación al antiguo MINI All4Racing que pilotó en el Dakar 2022 y que le podría permitir pelear por un Top 15 o Top 10, una pregunta es la fiabilidad que pueda entregarle este prototipo en el Dakar más largo que se haya disputado en Arabia Saudita con 15 días de carrera. Luego, Laia y Gerini, un experto mecánico, deberán estar muy atentos al componente técnico para mantener el récord perfecto de Finisher de Laia con 11 ediciones en motos y una en autos.

"Let's get a hotel room," Tony said, like that was that, and somehow - and Steve never could explain how, not then and not now and not later - it was.

Steve has eight weeks to finish studying for and pass his bar exam. And its going rather well, until 20 year old boy genius Tony walks into the same library, and sits at the same table.  Steve doesn't usually go for kids like Tony- young and irresponsible, ripped jeans and eye liner, and a tongue ring that is way more distracting that it should be.  Oh, and Tony is high as a kite, studying his physics text book.  Steve should look away, but he cant stop staring, and Tony is staring right back, more than a little interested in the serious blonde with the cute glasses and big shoulders pushing against that button up.  A stand up guy like Steve could be good for a troubled kid like Tony. But maybe a punk kid like Tony is good for a guy like Steve as well.
