After discovering @misslollypopsims & watching her JOL series -- I knew I had to begin my own. Meet Avery, the first heir of a *hopefully* massive generational legacy.

Avery has been working non-stop on her baking & cookery skills, making friends with the neighbors like Clara Bjergson & selling enough baked goods to buy her own Bakery retail shop ❤️

Somehow she's managed to squeeze in enough time to also have a handful of blind dates on Simda -- Joaquin Le Chien was the lucky pick & they are currently trying for a baby (which is part of the challenge)

Bekindtoyourself-darling’s ‘just make it better’ save file v.2 - Snowy Escape Update

This is an update to my save file in which Snowy Escape has been updated. Not all lots have been changed or changed majorly as some I personally believe are already very nice. But some have been updated, some have had minor or major changes. The sims have also been updated.  While the original intent is for this save file to be played with cc for the sims, there is an option for cc free sims, but be aware they won't look as good as their cc'd counterparts. I would recommend default skin or default eyes at the least as this helps update their look majorly without the need for a ton of cc. There are three versions to this save file. These versions are:

CC Free Buildings, but CC’d Sims (You can find the cc lists under the cut, most sims have the same CC.) (This is labelled as the CC save)

CC Free Buildings and Sims (This is labelled as the No CC save)

Buildings Only. No Sims.  (This is labelled as the No Sim save)

This means you can pick the one right for you. If you want my cc’d versions of the sims which you can look at if you go through my sims tag then you can go through the cc lists and download all the cc. CC Lists are all linked below. While some sims have a lot, most sims have basic cc like skin details and default eyes, most of the cc is the same. While each household has a cc list a lot of those cc lists are identical.  You can find all the CC lists linked below.

Equally if you work without cc or don’t want the hassle of downloading more cc you can get the cc free sim version or if you want a completely empty world save there’s a version with no sims at all.

Please bear in mind that I have all the packs, although I do not have the new kits. This is a save file that uses all the packs and uses them in different worlds. You might find things missing from builds if you don’t have all packs! You might also find items missing off of sims such as hairs and clothes!

I have gone through and added relationships for sims. There are some sims who are completely new and some sims have relationships we might remember from sims 2!

If you use the save and take screenshots etc. I’d love to be tagged so I can see you enjoy it and using the sims and the builds!

I have also sorted out an issue with the bathroom in the Strangerville bar, it is now big enough for your sims to go into and use! If you notice any other issues when playing with my save file do let me know so that I can fix them!

La maison de jeu fabuleuse est prête pour un affrontement de Noël ! Tout d'abord, prépare-toi au flipper humain, puis parcours un labyrinthe pour trouver le plus de cadeaux et être couronné champion des Jeux Fabuleux. Atteins le sommet du classement pour gagner l'aide de Noëlle, qui restera à la ferme de manière permanente ! Que les Jeux commencent !

Cette fonctionnalité sera débloquée au niveau 12. Tu verras s'afficher un message t'invitant à l'événement Jeux Fabuleux. Tu devras peut-être forcer la fermeture du jeu ou redémarrer ton appareil pour voir la dernière mise à jour.

La fabuleuse Félicité veut animer la maison de jeu fabuleuse avec des carillons et elle voudrait que tu l'aides à choisir une nouvelle cloche. On l'aide ?

Appuie sur le bouton Commencer l'événement pour commencer.

Les Jeux Fabuleux seront constitués de 2 étapes. La 1e étape se déroulera du 22 au 28 décembre 2021, et la 2e du 28 décembre au 2 janvier 2022. Tu auras 12 jours pour terminer les 2 étapes et remporter des récompenses !

Obtiens l'or dans une étape pour gagner Noëlle l'espiègle, un chien joyeux comme ouvrier agricole permanent. Remporte l'or lors des deux étapes pour obtenir Noëlle la gentille comme ouvrière agricole permanente. C'est le chien champion !

Pour terminer une étape, tu dois fabriquer des objets et remplir des commandes. Lorsque tu termines des commandes de l'événement, tu gagnes des points d'artisanat supplémentaires.

Remarque : la fabuleuse Félicité, le fantastique Avery, et Cool Gaspard sont des ouvriers agricoles temporaires qui resteront dans ta ferme uniquement pendant la durée de l'événement. Pour profiter d'eux au maximum, mieux vaut les recruter le plus tôt possible.

Mardi soir, l’indigence télévisuelle étant ce qu’elle est, ce fut séance rattrapage DVD avec le dessin animé The Secret Life of Pets – en français, Comme des bêtes, parce que la France est aux traductions WTF de titres ce que le Japon est au WTF tout court. Passons.

On y suit Max, un chien new-yorkais tout ce qu’il y a de plus normal, qui passe sa journée à attendre sa maîtresse qu’il aime d’amour de chien. Jusqu’au moment où celle-ci adopte Duke, un monstre plein de poils, qui fait de sa vie un enfer. Et, quand il essaye de s’en débarrasser, les choses tournent à la cata et les deux toutous se retrouvent paumés en pleine ville, avec la fourrière aux trousses.

Je n’en attendais pas grand-chose et, pour tout dire, je craignais que l’intégralité des trucs drôles du film ne se retrouvent dans la bande-annonce. Fort heureusement, ce n’est pas le cas et si ce n’est pas dessin animé de l’année (passée), j’avoue qu’il était fort divertissant.

L’histoire est fondamentalement banale: c’est une variante du « voyage extraordinaire », revu et corrigé par un Tex Avery post-moderne, où la société des animaux domestiques et des bestioles errantes (les « Flushed Pets », autrement dit les animaux balancés dans les toilettes) sert de miroir à la société humaine. On notera d’ailleurs que si on voit beaucoup d’animaux « défavorisés », tous les humains semblent aisés et en bonne santé.

The Secret Life of Pets vaut surtout par l’inventivité visuelle de quelques scènes – le repaire des Flushed Pets dans les égouts, le combat contre la vipère ou la bataille sur le pont de Brooklyn – et par des contre-emplois d’anthologie parmi les personnages (avec une réincarnation de Fulgence en chef de gang). Et beaucoup, beaucoup de scènes qui parleront forcément aux propriétaires d’animaux.

Comme souvent dans ce genre de production plutôt orientées pour les enfants, on retrouve suffisamment de clins d’œils pour amuser les adultes. L’ensemble ne révolutionne pas grand-chose, mais est plutôt plaisant pour occuper une soirée.

Bekindtoyourself-darling’s ‘just make it better’ save file v.1.2 - Evergreen Harbor Community Spaces Update

This is an update to my save file in which Evergreen Harbor's community spaces now have updated renos for their community garden, market place, and maker space versions.  While the original intent is for this save file to be played with cc for the sims, there is an option for cc free sims, but be aware they won't look as good as their cc'd counterparts. There are three versions to this save file. These versions are:

CC Free Buildings, but CC’d Sims (You can find the cc lists under the cut, most sims have the same CC.) (This is labelled as the CC save)

CC Free Buildings and Sims (This is labelled as the No CC save)

Buildings Only. No Sims.  (This is labelled as the No Sim save)

This means you can pick the one right for you. If you want my cc’d versions of the sims which you can look at if you go through my sims tag then you can go through the cc lists and download all the cc. While some sims have a lot, most sims have basic cc like skin details and default eyes, most of the cc is the same. While each household has a cc list a lot of those cc lists are identical.  You can find all the CC lists linked below.

Equally if you work without cc or don’t want the hassle of downloading more cc you can get the cc free sim version or if you want a completely empty world save there’s a version with no sims at all.

Please bear in mind that I have all the packs (Except for the Star Wars one). This is a save file that uses all the packs and uses them in different worlds. You might find things missing from builds if you don’t have all packs! You might also find items missing off of sims such as hairs and clothes!

I have gone through and added relationships for sims. There are some sims who are completely new and some sims have relationships we might remember from sims 2!

I have also sorted out an issue with the bathroom in the Strangerville bar, it is now big enough for your sims to go into and use!

Most people who follow this blog probably know i’ve been working on a save file for the last few months with the aim of it being better than ea’s work. I wanted to fix the ugly buildings and fix the ugly sims, although without cc there’s not much that will make a sim look pretty! It was painful to make the cc free version and take the cc away from my sims, but I did it for you guys!

There are three versions to this save file. These versions are:
