AXS Prepares for Significant Market Change as Technical Analysis Unfolds
Axie Infinity (AXS) stands at the precipice of a significant market shift, propelled by a convergence of technical patterns and strategic collaborations. In a recent analysis from CryptoBusy, a leading educational account on cryptocurrency trends, attention is drawn to the tightening gap between trendline resistance and horizontal support. The analysis further reveals a consistent pattern of lower highs and lows over the past 43 days, signaling an imminent substantial price movement for AXS.
As of the latest data, AXS is valued at $6.92, reflecting a 1.2% increase in the last 24 hours, according to CoinGecko. However, the trading volume for Axie Infinity has witnessed a notable decline of 34.20% from the previous day, amounting to $58,140,343. This reduction in trading volume may indicate a slowdown in market activity and investor engagement.
Despite the recent underperformance, with a 5.20% decline in price over the last week, AXS is positioned uniquely in the broader cryptocurrency landscape. This underperformance contrasts with the modest 0.30% increase in the overall market and the impressive 12.70% rise observed in other Ethereum Ecosystem cryptocurrencies.

These crypto gaming coins represent just a fraction of the rapidly growing crypto gaming industry. As blockchain technology and cryptocurrency continue to permeate the gaming sector, we can expect to see even more innovative and exciting projects emerge in the years to come.
Factors Driving the Bullish Trend:
Several factors are contributing to the bullish trend in crypto gaming coins:
The rise of play-to-earn games: Play-to-earn games have revolutionized the gaming industry by allowing players to earn cryptocurrency while playing. This has attracted a large number of players to crypto gaming, driving up the demand for crypto gaming coins.
The growth of the metaverse: The metaverse is a virtual world that allows users to interact with each other and participate in various activities. Crypto gaming coins are often used to purchase land, items, and assets within the metaverse, further fueling their growth.
The increasing adoption of blockchain technology: Blockchain technology is being used to develop more secure, transparent, and user-friendly gaming platforms. This is attracting more players and developers to the crypto gaming space, increasing the demand for crypto gaming coins.
Conclusion:
The crypto gaming industry is poised for significant growth in the years to come, and crypto gaming coins are expected to play a central role in this growth. With their innovative features, strong communities, and promising use cases, these coins are well-positioned for a bullish run toward 2025 and beyond.

until dawn, the butterfly effect, and infinite realities explained
for those who like to think about the science behind shifting and infinite realities, or need a little help understanding it
note !! : this is just my personal way of understanding how infinite realities are possible, and it's the way shifting clicks for me. this does not mean that you have to agree with me, and it certainly does not mean that anything related to spirituality or shifting has to make logical sense -- some things just are what they are, and that's okay! this post is just for fun! it's difficult for the human brain to comprehend something like infinity -- so this is just my way of making infinite possibilities make sense.
this post also relies on believing in the multiverse and infinite realities as a whole, so please keep that in mind before proceeding. I am not an expert in astral projections, alternate dimensions, or vibrational work.
there is a theory that the universe is made of math -- every bit, from you, to me, from the animate to the inanimate. this is called the mathematical universe hypothesis. it seems that human beings are constantly looking for ways to understand the environment around them, and more often than not we turn to math.
this will be no different. in truth, this is a concept I made as a way to explain reality shifting to my mother. she is very spiritual herself, but she struggled to understand the concept of infinite realities, and she struggled to differentiate shifting from astral projection.
above is an example of a 3D graph. you may already be familiar with the y- and x- axes, but perhaps not the z-axis.
if you have been involved in the spiritual community for any amount of time, you've absolutely heard of higher and lower dimensions, as well as higher and lower vibrations. you may already know that the plane that we live on is the 3D. this is the physical reality you inhabit. let's say the 3D corresponds to the x-axis. the physical reality will be our baseline.
the y-axis corresponds to higher states of consciousness -- the 4D, the 5D, etc. I'm going to include altered states of consciousness in the y-axis as well, such as meditation, altered consciousness due to external factors such as substance use, dreaming, lucid dreaming, minishifts, general out of body experiences, and astral projection. just like there are infinite numbers between 0 and 1, there are infinite possibility points of altered or higher consciousness, so don't be discouraged if something you personally have experienced is not listed here by me.
the origin point (coordinate 0,0) of this graph represents your current / original reality -- your home base, essentially. Going straight up the y-axis represents the various levels of consciousness I mentioned before, all while remaining aware of this physical reality.
each point on the x-axis represents each of your DRs. for example, if (0,0) is my CR, then (1,0) would be my Hogwarts DR. the infinite points in between (0,0) and (1,0) would be realities where one or many things overlap between the realities, with few overlapping things being closer to (0,0) and many overlapping things being closer to (1,0).
alternate view : you can absolutely look at each point on the x-axis as being the canon of wherever you're shifting to, with the points in between determining how close that reality is to a CRDR versus pure canon
but what would the z-axis represent? they would be alternate realities of each x-reality. While those specifically on the (x,0) axis would be the realities you consciously live in, the realities on the z-axis would be realities where you made a different decision, a la the butterfly effect.
even the smallest of actions can be the difference between the reality you consciously inhabit, and the realities where you did or said something differently. essentially; everything has a consequence, big or small. these are the realities you exist in, but are not consciously aware of.
if you want an easy example, let's look at Hogwarts houses. Let's use the reason that (x,y,z) stands for the coordinates of the reality. Hogwarts would be my first DR and in it I am a Slytherin. That would mean that reality would be (1,0,0). Due to the laws of the infinite multiverse, there is also a reality like my DR where I am instead a Hufflepuff, even though I'm not choosing to shift there. That would be (1,0,1), and so on for the other houses.
If I were to do anything that would give an altered state of consciousness in that Hufflepuff reality, it would be (1,1,1) and so on, depending on my level of consciousness.
you might be asking, what would the negative numbers be in this? remember, the points of the axes stretch on into infinity -- in both directions.
if you're into astral projection or manifestation, you've heard that your experience in the astral plane or in manifesting is dependent on your vibrations.
low vibrations : negative feelings; guilt, shame, fear, anxiety, etc
high vibrations : positive feelings; love, gratitude, genuine happiness, feeling protected
if you are aligning yourself with low vibrations, you will encounter low vibrational beings or experiences. this is the area of toxicity. negative entities thrive here on the astral realm.
the x-axis is not only the baseline for our physical realities, it is also a mirror for the positive and the negative. as above, so below. the negative y's would be functioning on a low-vibrational level on a conscious level (as in, not fulfilling your highest self, leaning into fear or shame, astral projecting in to a low-vibrational plane, having a nightmare), negative x's would be more toxic or negative realities -- these are the realities where the worst can and will happen. don't worry, you obviously won't be shifting there! negative z's would be realities where you choose the wrong path, the more toxic path, where you let yourself be petty and mean.
don't worry -- just because these negative realities exist does not mean you will experience them. you can ignore the negative planes entirely, and your journey and your drs will not be changed. remember, you will always be on the x-axis (x,0) when you are consciously inhabiting your body. the only time you will experience the y-axis (0,y) would be when you are dreaming, meditating, astral projecting, or in between realities like minishifting. and you won't encounter the z-axis at all, unless you choose to rescript your DRs, and even then that would become your new x-axis reality.
in summary : the x-axis is where you are aware, the physical reality you experience. the y-axis is your level of consciousness and vibration. the z-axis is the butterfly effect in practice.
note : do not think that feeling guilt, shame, or fear means you will always be on the negative planes. you can absolutely shift positively even when you are depressed, or angry, or afraid. it's the difference between staying in wet clothes after the rain or changing into something warm and cozy. even if you get a cold from the rain, or your day was ruined by it, changing your clothes means you're taking care of yourself. as long as you're giving yourself grace, the help and self-care you need, it'll work out!
that's all for now! I hope it makes sense! please let me know your thoughts, I'm very curious to see how you all react to this. please be kind, as this is my first post and my first time explaining this so publicly.
yoshi !!

OK, so confession I have a bunch of cookie run kingdom OCs that I have yet to show you guys spanning from OCs I made when I first began playing the game back in 2021 and more recently since I’m now playing on a new game because I can’t get back my original account because it’s on my iPad and I haven’t used it in so long that most of things require update and re-downloading, and I can’t do that because for some reason I need to enter the iPad’s email thing to get them even though they were just offloaded.
And just now I thought of two more cookie OCs. So I’m gonna go over all of them now without drawing drawings. (I have a Gacha Life 2 mock up of one of them in their cookie form)
Starting with the oldest cookie run OC orange cream cookie, based on a little fancy cookie that my mom had got from this cool cookie place I can’t remember the name of, I can’t remember if it was just called an orange cream cookie or an orange buttercream cookie, but it had this light orange frosting on it that didn’t taste like frosting, and it was yummy. Originally she was a tennis player, but after finding out there was a tennis player cookie. I didn’t know what to make her. As of right now, she is a fencer.
Snickerdoodle axolotl cookie (original name axolotl cookie) another OC from back in 2021. She is a cookie that can swim and live in the water. She an orange cream cookie had a little cute story of them befriending each other, and I’m thinking of reworking the story to make it more clear that they aren’t just friends.
Molasses cookie - she’s a recent OC, I got inspired to make her because I was wearing a T-shirt and had my infinity scarf wrapped around my shoulders, and decided to come up with some Lord that wear a molasses cookie lived she could wear much lighter clothing because what they were made of was very insulated. It went from there to her being cursed with immortality and focusing on being a prophecy/fortuneteller. Wise within game she is a healer. She’s also able to attack. (cookie lore, she used to be a magic fight fighter, but as time went on she became a healer) her hair is my favorite part as she has extremely long hair, but she’s rolled it up to a point where it looks much shorter because it’s rolled up and tucked on her infinity scarf, however, if it gets out, her hair is gonna be trailing behind her (on top of that her hair is actual molasses and has the ability to burst and what essentially is her magic leaks out, hence why she hasn’t cut her hair)
Rainbow sprinkle cookie - i’ve been focusing on her a lot. Originally she was birthday cake cookie, and had a slightly similar hair designed to.Kouign-amann cookie (mainly the blocking in nature at the bottom) that was held in two low pigtails. She was also one of the first two cookie OCs. I came up with this year. She was originally meant to be a child that followed around lavender dragon cookie (I’ll get to them later) and act as a warrior in training for eternal sugar cookie. As things developed between lavender dragon cookie and her dynamic with eternal sugar cookie things changed a lot as well. For context on some of the changes at one point, she was meant to be an adopted child of lavender dragon and eternal sugar. As of now rainbow sprinkle cookie still has her mostly cutesy Kawaii aesthetic, along with her large ax and her utter adoration for the beasts, but now she has added trauma of being forced to live for thousands of years because of another character on this list. Roll wise within the game, she would be a defense cookie with a comically large axe. She lavender dragon are the only ones I actually have kingdom skills thought out for, and her kingdom skill has her channeling her adoration for the virtues, and swinging her axes really hard at the enemy, a fun visual effect is that each time the skill is used, a color coordinating to one of the beasts will appear as a little mini flame channeling on the axis blade and do damage correlating to the beast
Lavender dragon cookie - originally a bunch of variations of lilac cookie (because I forgot lilac cookie actually existed) eventually, she was just a normal cookie that acted as a defender for eternal sugar cookie and her territory with rainbow sprinkle cookie under her wing, things evolved, and as of right now I have lavender dragon cookie as utterly devoted to eternal sugar cookie, while having quite a few differing opinions than her. Within the war, I gave her she was once a rage filled dragon that had its anger quelled by eternal sugar cookie. The lavender dragon cookie would take on in kingdom as a playable character is a bomber cookie who has an abilities, somewhat similar to pitaya dragon cookies ability, where they turn into a dragon and let out a very strong lavender blast that does damage and makes the enemies attack speed drop
Salsa cookie- I initially came up with them as a Sonna, but it changed real quick. Long story short they are an assassin for higher in order to help keep themselves and their baby brother off the streets. This led them to being hired by the cookie of darkness. I don’t really have much for salsa cookie, however, kingdom roll wise. She is an ambush cookie.
Nacho cheese cookie- salsa cookies, younger brother. I don’t have much info on him yet other than he’s really young and wants to be a music maker when he’s older. He is not a playable cookie like the rest of these guys.
Lemon meringue cookie- they are a rockstar who mainly is struggling with getting gigs and accidentally got involved in the cookies of darkness. They did not know what they got into and now that they know they fear they are too far into back out. They are a support cookie.
Paprika cookie- technically not a cookie, this thing is more of an ancient spirit. It is mostly made of paprika spice and semi-draconic. It has the ability to possess cookie bodies, whether they are alive or dead and it used disability frequently before it went on its villain arc. After the one cookie, it told the truth about passed away it snapped and went off into the forest, inevitably running into and possessing rainbow sprinkle cookie. Paprika cookie with then join the cookies of darkness and offer some of her own spiceand rainbow. Sprinkle cookies dough in order to help with the ultimate cookies creation.
(onto the new ones)
Blue cheese cookie- I just thought about their existence today and I have no clue what I’m gonna do with them, but I am very certain there’s already a blue cheese cookie so this one might fade out of existence
The other one, I don’t know what these specific cookies are called, but my dad just got them so here’s a picture of the cookie. All I know is that this cookie is probably going to reside within the cacao kingdom.

Energy Update: October 2023
October is an “8” Universal Month [10 (October) + 7 (2023) = 17 = 1+7 =8] in a “7” Universal Year. When you turn an eight on its side, you get the ouroboros or infinity symbol; this is a hint as to the energy of eight. Full of ups and downs, an 8-month is a reminder that everything comes back around again in its time. This carries energy similar to that of the Wheel of Fortune and is a reminder that what goes up must come back down, and vice versa. This is very in line with the astrology energy which will be dominated by two eclipses on the Aries-Libra and Taurus-Scorpio axes.
January was also an “8” Universal Month so we may experience some repeated themes from the beginning of the year. Additionally, 2024 is an “8” Universal Year (2+0+2+4=8) so the month ahead will act as a bit of a preview into some of the energies that will dominate the year ahead.
The Set Up
We begin the month with the Sun and Mars in Libra, Mercury in Virgo, Venus in Leo, retrograde Saturn and Neptune in Pisces, retrograde Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus, and retrograde Pluto in Capricorn. By month’s end all of the personal planets will have changed signs and Mercury will have done so twice! We will end October with the Sun, Mercury, and Mars in Scorpio, and Venus in Virgo. Additionally, Pluto will have stationed direct.
The Nitty Gritty
The Big News Bears of the month of October is that we are entering eclipse season. This is our first eclipse cycle with the lunar nodes on the Aries-Libra axis, so we are opening the doors of fate to something new but with one last lunar eclipse in Scorpio, we are also wrapping up a few last-minute endings as well. Like many things, we will all fall somewhere on this spectrum between purely something new and releasing the old – where you are personally will have a lot to do with the work that you’ve been doing on yourself AND, to a greater or lesser degree, the way that your personal planets are interacting with the intense energies brought for by this month’s transits. Either way, the signs of Aries and Libra are in the hot seat as the North Node of forward-facing fate transits the sign of the ram and the South Node of backward-facing fate transits the sign of the scales. The North Node always takes the lead so we can assume that in the eternal battle between the Self (Aries) and the Other (Libra), the self is winning. It is worth keeping in mind that there are ways to honor the sanctity of the self without being selfish (a lesson Aries so desperately needs to remember) and ways to foster interdependence rather than codependence (a lesson Libra so desperately needs to remember). This eclipse cycle may hit especially hard for natives who have a personal planet in Aries or Libra (particularly the later degrees of the signs) and anybody who was born with the lunar nodes in Aries and Libra. Eclipse season always calls for resilience, adaptation, and a heavy dose of discernment. We’ll get to that. We begin the month with Mercury in Virgo making some aspects to our outermost planets (an opposition with Neptune in Pisces on 10/2 and a trine with Pluto in Capricorn on 10/03) before moving into our cardinal air sign of Libra on 10/4. This puts three out of five of our personal planets at the same time which is always a sign that our lives will be very Libra-esq for the time being. Choices and conflicts around our interpersonal relationships will be highlighted all month long – remember that we are already working towards of eclipsed new moon in Libra on 10/14 which will also carry the signature of a strong stellium between the Sun, Moon, and Mercury in the last third of the sign.
We are getting ahead of ourselves, though, which seems to be one of the themes coming up for the month of October as a whole.
Mercury has been in Virgo for an unusually long time due to their retrograde cycle that just wrapped up in the last days of September. We all might be feeling a little bit raw around Mercurial concerns (communication, technology, travel) – there may be some amends to be made. Neptune is going to make things foggy and untenable and Pluto, now in Capricorn again for the last time as it also retrogrades, is looking for the “real” ending that forces transformation. This energy will dissipate some when Mercury enters Libra on 10/4 but it will instead add some drama to what is already a frustrating and topsy-turvy Libra season.
Mercury in Libra sees all sides of the story. This may sound like a boon but it can often lead to Libra’s pathological analysis paralysis. As we deal with our three major players in the sign of Libra, I am reminded of an old meme: it involves a group of people standing around staring at a cliff that simply says “OVERTHINKING” on it in bold letters. The thought bubble from each of the people simply says “But what does it mean?”
There may be an awful lot of thinking and very little doing. Keep in mind both that Libra is the planet of Mar’s Fall (meaning it is the opposite sign of its native sign, Aries) and that we still have all our non-personal planets in retrograde. Mars does not function well without action and that tension will keep building and building.
Something needs to change. Many of us will be feeling that pull as we wind down towards our dark moon in Virgo in advance of our solar eclipse, but we won’t be able to do much about it. Rumination and other types of nonproductive thought will be high, this is a time to divorce yourself from unhelpful thought patterns if you can.
Venus exits her post-retrograde shadow at 28° Leo on Saturday 10/07 and enters Virgo the next day which IS a movement but not one that will likely help us very much as she immediately forms an opposition with retrograde Saturn in Pisces who stops her in her tracks. Mars in Libra also squares off with retrograde Pluto in Capricorn who is remanding change, like, yesterday. But we can’t move, not of our own volition anyway.
Everything seems to be stuck in a type of stasis. Outer planet stations tend to do that and Pluto is about to station direct at 27° degrees Capricorn. This may be a pivot point for some – but more likely it is the death throws of something that we all used to be but aren’t anymore. Pluto is our slowest moving planet; it has been sitting in the sign of Capricorn for 14 long years where it has been slowly dismantling our outdated concepts of money and institution. Though Pluto is associated with change, it is not the type of change that we can carefully direct or control; as our outermost planetary body, it is far beyond our comprehension.
There are so many pieces in play during this week but they all lead towards the feeling of a deep long hold position. I at once see the head archer screaming “Hold…hold…HOLD!” in front of an advancing army and feel the tension that builds in your body as you sink deep into a pose in yin yoga.
So much wants to move, but, not yet. Mars enters its home sign of Scorpio on Thursday 10/12 and immediately forms a trine with retrograde Saturn, so, in this way, we can see that both of our interpersonal planets (Venus and Mars) and being inhibited during this time. Tensions will be high as they always are because we are about to enter eclipse season.
As mentioned above, this is our first eclipse with our lunar nodes on the Aries-Libra axis. The lunar nodes changed signs in mid-July, switching our focus to that of the oppositional forces of the self and the other. This is going to greatly heighten the tension we have already been experiencing during this Libra season as it is the South Node that is in Libra signifying that there is something about Libra themes that we all need to let go of. That relationship that you’ve been holding on to because it’s “always been this way”, it’s time to let it go. This energy is encouraging us to be ourselves, really and truly, rather than showing up in the ways that we have been taught to please another. This will create a fair bit of stress and tension in some people’s lives.
Eclipses are beyond us and uncontrollable – at best they can be considered wild card magic. They have the habit of opening and closing doors for us. It is worth remembering that you do not have to go through every door that is revealed to you, but you should consider turning back from a closed door. We all have choices that we can make in our lives, but not all choices are available to all of us. With Saturn, the planet of restriction, so heavily in play, we can assume that we may be shown more of where we shouldn’t go under the energy of this solar eclipse than where we should, but that is pure conjecture and everybody’s experience with eclipses is their own. My best advice is to keep your eyes wide open and practice your very best discernment.
A problem that I have encountered with Libra types is that they can be so adverse to conflict that they will lie their way out of anything. This echoes what may be going on with Saturn in Pisces since I’m pretty sure the Piscean mantra is “lie to me”. Both Libra and Pisces share a common desire to live in a fantasy world in which their potential relationship problems cease to exist and with both our relationship signs in contact with Saturn, this could be problematic. Playing the part of the ostrich who hides its head in the sand is ill-advised at this time.
I will write more about the eclipse as we draw closer but keep in mind that those most affected by its energies will be Libras, followed by anybody with a personal planet around 21° Cancer or Capricorn, followed by anybody with a personal planet in the air or fire signs around that degree. For an eclipse, I suggest a 10-degree orb with the understanding that the closer to 21 degrees your planet falls, the more that this lunar event will affect you.
The third week of October is devoid of non-lunar aspects until Friday which shows that we all may need some downtime to process that intense eclipse energy. Keep in mind that although the energy will peak with our lunar and solar eclipses, the time in between the two events still carries much of the same energy with it.
On Friday, 10/20, our Sun and Mercury meet up inconjunction at 26° Libra. This may be a day of great inspiration or momentary understanding. If you need to have a conversation, schedule it for this weekend. Keep in mind that neither the Sun nor Mercury is at their best in the sign of Virgo, though, so seek compromise, but try to retain what individuality you can. One-sided decisions will come back to bite you faster than you might expect.
!0/21-10/22 is the best aspected weekend of the month. On top of our Sun-Mercury conjunction, Venus in Virgo plays nicely in trine with retrograde Jupiter in Taurus. We might not be having fun (retrograde Jupiter, after all) but we can get some stuff done. Both the Sun and Mercury will be square to Pluto in Capricorn which shows that it’s more about agreeing to make a change (Capricorn) than “togetherness” (Libra). This is the time to work for what you want out of life. It won’t be easy but your hard work will pay off. The Mercury enters Scorpio on 10/22 and the Sun enters Scorpio on 10/23 which pulls the general energy towards the dark and moody. Again, we have three personal planets, our Sun, Mercury, and Mars, in the same sign as we spend the week ramping up towards an intense lunar eclipse in Scorpio’s opposite sign, Taurus. The energy of this week will feel stuck as well (repetition in transits is ALWAYS notable) because our Sun and Mercury will be in trine to retrograde Saturn and in that very same hold pattern. By the weekend, Mercury and Mars will meet up in conjunction on Sunday 10/29 which will also form a stellium with our Sun (within 5°) and an opposition to our eclipsed Moon. Both Saturn and Jupiter will also be in play here as Saturn hits the Sun-Moon side of this transit (in trine to our Sun and sextile our Moon) and Jupiter conjuncts the Moon and opposes Mercury and Mars. Jupiter tells us to go big and Saturn warns us to stay small and within our own lanes. Neither planet is right or wrong and we need both in their time. But they are always at play with one another, sometimes coaxing us out of ourselves and other times forcing us to step lightly. The deep truth is that we need to be doing BOTH of these things during this time – this lunar eclipse is still in Taurus even though the North Node has moved on from Taurus into Aries. This is a sign of unfished business. This is also a complicated eclipse in that it involves the energy of release from the full moon but also of new beginnings from its conjunction with the North Node.
Taurus has a reputation for being unflappable which, as a Taurus Sun, I can completely refute. Taurus often doesn’t sweat the small stuff sure, and we’d rather be eating a hedonistic dinner than participate in some petty gossip. But once you get us going, you’d better get out of the way or you’re gonna get gored. If there’s a situation in your life where there’s been a lot of unrest, maybe some mild tremors, but you’ve been relying on it (perhaps falsely) to remain stable because it “always has”, watch the fuck out. Jupiter is in place to blow things out of proportion and Tauruses have been dealing with a Uranus transit for a hot minute. Don’t be surprised when the even-keeled person in your life has had enough. And we’ve got Mars in Scorpio all set up for the revenge fun times.
In other words, I would pay a lot closer attention to the lunar eclipse than the solar. Ultimately Libra will just try to play nice like they always do, which will be frustrating for some. But Taurus has had enough of this shit and is looking to burn some bridges. If that worries you, the weekend of 10/28-10/29 is probably one to lie low and do less instead of more. Mercury conjunct Mars in Scorpio hints at saying too much or cutting words. I EXPECT relationships to end under this energy. And indeed, we round out the month with Venus in Virgo trine to retrograde Uranus in Taurus. Even if you tried to keep your emotions in check, they may rise to the surface anyway. As always with eclipse things, it’s probably better to let them out but it may not feel nice and we all might walk away from October with some broken pieces. Sometimes life just is that way.
The Details
10/2 – Mercury in Virgo opposed retrograde Neptune in Pisces 10/3 – Mercury in Virgo trine retrograde Pluto in Capricorn 10/4 – Mercury enters Libra 10/7 – Venus exits her post-retrograde shadow, 28 Leo 10/08 – Venus enters Virgo 10/09 – Mars in Libra square retrograde Pluto in Capricorn 10/10 – Venus in Virgo opposed retrograde Saturn in Pisces, Pluto stations direct 27 Capricorn 10/12 – Mars enters Scorpio 10/13 – Mars in Scorpio trine retrograde Saturn in Pisces 10/14 – Eclipsed New Moon 21 Libra 10/20 – Sun conjunct Mercury 26 Libra 10/21 – Sun and Mercury in Libra square Pluto in Capricorn 10/22 – Mercury enters Scorpio, Mercury in Scorpio trine retrograde Saturn in Pisces, Venus in Virgo trine retrograde Jupiter in Taurus 10/23 – Sun enters Scorpio 10/24 – Sun in Scorpio trine retrograde Saturn in Pisces 10/28 – Eclipsed Full Moon 05 Taurus, Mars in Scorpio opposed retrograde Jupiter in Taurus 10/29 – Mercury conjunct Mars in Scorpio, Mercury in Scorpio opposed retrograde Jupiter in Taurus 10/31 – Venus in Virgo trine retrograde Uranus in Taurus

Miller Indices and Lattice Planes
Have you ever wondered how scientists talk about the microscopic building blocks of materials? Enter the world of Miller indices and lattice levels, a language that reveals the secrets of atomic arrangements within crystals. Imagine visualizing levels of atoms stacked like bricks, each level described by a unique set of numbers that reveal its orientation and spacing.
How to determine Miller Indices?
Imagine the crystal lattice with three axes: These axes represent the basic building blocks of the crystal's structure. In a cubic crystal, for example, the axes are all perpendicular to each other and of equal length.
Identify a plane: This plane can cut through the lattice in any direction, intersecting the axes at different points.
Find the intercepts: For each axis, measure the distance from the origin to the point where the plane intersects it. If the plane doesn't intersect an axis, then the intercept is considered to be "at infinity" and is represented by a zero.
Take the reciprocals: For each non-zero intercept, take the reciprocal (flip it over).
Simplify and normalize: If any of the reciprocals have a common factor, divide them all by that factor to get the smallest possible integers.
Put the numbers together: The resulting three integers, enclosed in parentheses (h k l), are the Miller indices for that plane.

Latest Crypto News: Market Rebounds, Regulatory Moves, and Token Surges in 2025
Latest Crypto News: Market Rebounds, Regulatory Moves, and Token Surges in 2025
The latest crypto news today is an exciting combination of unprecedented momentum, emergent collaborations, and worldwide regulations transforming the digital asset space. Bitcoin and Ethereum leading this renewed optimism in the market and altcoins grabbing attention is a revelation; not just benefitting attitudinal change in digital asset space but also an increasing interest from investors and financial institutions alike. As we move through 2025 the unknown direction is potentially moving towards crypto economy through some substantial developments taking the industry in unpredictable (but positive) avenues.
Cryptocurrency Markets Surge as Bitcoin Pushed Above $67,000
One of the most heavily mentioned piece of information from this past week of crypto news is the extreme recovering price of Bitcoin. After a week long period of price consolidation, Bitcoin finally exited the price range of $67,000 upward, giving the entire market bullish sentiment. Ethereum also broke through supports of $3,500, fueled largely by a rise in DeFi use and a renewed interest in staking. The rally is assisted by growing ETF asset inflows and investors' optimism towards macroeconomic policies. Analysts believe the Federal Reserve's dovish hints of any cuts to interest rates, have made risk assets more appealing once again, as traders direct capital out of cash and back into cryptocurrencies. Most traders expect Bitcoin to trial $70,000 resistance in the upcoming days, alongside all altcoins moving back upwards with Bitcoin.
Ethereum Upgrade Reinvigorates Ecosystem
With the news of Ethereum's network upgrade, which was labeled "Pectra" by the Ethereum community, is a tremendous story in crypto. This network upgrade significantly improves scalability and significantly lowers gas fees for smart contract run operations. As a result, the entire community reaction had positive acclaim as developers are rushing to build new apps off the back of the maximized throughput. As a result, total value locked (TVL) into Ethereum-based DeFi protocols has exceeded $90 billion. Recovery since 2024 rates has exceeding amount made its first significant recovery. Newer chains assert ether's dominance of Web3 infrastructure. However, with this update, ether has regained its status as the chain built for diversity and immutability.
SEC Approves Additional Spot Crypto ETFs
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) continues to generate buzz in the latest crypto news cycle. In a landmark decision, the SEC has approved spot ETFs for altcoins such as Solana (SOL) and Chainlink (LINK) alongside already approved Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs.. This is a watershed moment for mainstream adoption of crypto, as investors, who do not want to exchange overseas or use wallets that they are unfamiliar with, can buy and sell their options from within a regulated product.Market analysts anticipate that ETF approvals will free up billions of dollars in institutional money and give altcoins increased legitimacy. Centralized exchanges have already seen higher trading volume, with Solana leading the charge upward with a 20% price increase within 48 hours of the announcement.
NFTs and Gaming Tokens are Seeing Increased Interest
Non-fungible tokens are starting to see renewed interest in the latest crypto news, which seems to coincided with an uptick in blockchain gaming. Transaction volumes are rising on Immutable X and Ronin, with new titles release and drawing mainstream gamers. Gaming tokens such as Gala (GALA), Axie Infinity (AXS), and The Sandbox (SAND) have experienced price gains in the range of 15 - 30% in the past two weeks, and with the size of the Web3 gaming market expected to exceed $100 billion by 2027, many are now perceiving that these projects are serious challengers to traditional gaming. With the recent advance in game design and the user experience generally, this allows the gaming tokens to be achieved more value comparable to existing games.
Conclusion: Crypto’s Next Chapter
As the latest crypto news has highlighted, 2025 may well be the year in which digital assets change forever. With regulatory clarity, institutional accept, technical developments, and, important to us, community momentum in the right direction, the crypto market is about to enter the next chapter. While volatility is still present and macroeconomic factors are influencing short-term pricing, the long-term trajectory of crypto appears to be more positive by the day. All sectors of this evolving ecosystem, including the investor side, developer side, and the government side, are making progress towards creating a more mature, resilient and accessible crypto ecosystem.
Diligently keeping track of the latest with crypto news will be a necessary task for either a digital wealth trader, casual holder or, blockchain builder to be effective in an ever-evolving environment.

Shape Composition (2/2): Order
I'm not sure if anyone else has done this before, but I didn't see anything similar in the student examples. I will simply assume it hasn't been done, despite its visual simplicity.
In the interest of brevity, the top of this post will contain only the information necessary for grading. Should you be interested in seeing it, I have elected to include more in-depth documentation of the process below the cut.

I began by drawing my 8x10 space, covering the edges in masking tape, and covered the remaining space in titanium white. I then took a 4x4 square painted in mars black and cut it into triangles, pasting each triangle in a square formation, as seen above.
Now, this piece took me an abnormal amount of time. I know cut and paste assignments are supposed to be quick and uncomplicated. Unfortunately, when I began to plan the composition as I always do, the idea grew legs of its own and I had no choice but to follow it.
Here is the original concept, drawn hastily in my sketchbook to use as a reference later on. You will notice that the size of the area I drew is proportional to the 8x10 rectangle.

This is the skeleton of the project. It's also the mouth of the rabbithole I fell down while I was coming up with ideas.
The piece is meant to be viewed in tandem with another assignment for this class, as they are thematically linked. This one in particular is inspired by the geometric concept of flipping a regular polygon along an axis over and over again. The axis, in this case, being one side of each square. Visual guide below.

* The lines in red are the axes. The other colors are there to show where each square was cut from.
As I was developing this idea, I noticed something interesting. If you were to draw a point that bisects every individual axis, you end up with a fibonacci spiral.
This took me a long time because a project of this nature requires a level of precision that is just not humanly possible. Even being as meticulous about it as I could, the squares still aren't perfect. I also had to adjust the placement of the triangles so that they wouldn't go off the page, resulting in a more extreme curve in some places. (I chalked it up to the fact that it's in a 3:4 aspect ratio, which a fibonacci spiral isn't exactly suited to fit in.)
I think if I were creating this digitally, or at least with different tools at my disposal (i.e. laser cutter, projector, 9:16 frame, more comprehensive understanding of trigonometry, etc.) then I'd be able to create something that is more in line with what I was aiming for— technical perfectionism. The closest I could get without spending hours on calculations that would make Pythagoras cry was with the following method:
I took a ruler, compass, protractor, pencil, and an exacto knife.
I measured the side of the square, and placed the point of my compass along one vertex, swinging it to create a quarter-circle that touches both adjacent vertices.
I repeated this process on each vertex.
I then found the points where two of my curved lines met, and drew a point.
Taking two points parallel to each other and using a ruler as a straight edge, I drew two lines that are perpendicular to the edges of each square.
The points where each line bisects the edges of the square create the diagonals along which I'd be cutting.
** This is a separate square of paper, made strictly for demonstration.
The dots in blue are the corners where I placed the compass. The yellow dots are the points where I laid my straight edge to create the perpendicular lines, and the red lines are where I would cut with my exacto knife.
You may have noted that I stopped at 7 squares when I seemingly could have kept going. Unfortunately, as the pieces I was working with got smaller and smaller, so did comfortable room for error. In theory, the pattern is a fractal, and can extend off into infinity despite being derived from a finite area. I wouldn't know how to recreate that without breaking several laws of physics, though.
