An interview with Ayric: an artist with a one-of-a-kind background.
-Thanks for your time Ayric! Can you tell us about your musical journey and how you developed your passion for music, eventually becoming a musician, singer, and songwriter?
Music, for me, is a window to a different and endless world.
In this world, I can make a music that originates from my feelings and the lyrics that come to my mind, with the combination of melody and harmony ،this song is a part of me.
With my music, I relieve my sadness, I relax, I get happy, I get motivated and I continue on my way.
Along with enjoying music, it requires a lot of effort and dedication to continue and improve continuously
Special attention should be paid to each section
And for a musician this is a lifestyle
- You graduated from the Tehran Music Conservatory in composition. How has your formal education in music influenced your artistic style and approach to composing and arranging songs?
University education in the field of composition has given me a deeper and broader perspective in this field.
But ultimately, in today's music, sometimes a single chord is much more effective than a complex harmony.
In a music that emphasizes singing, the melody of the voice is the most important, and during this study, I had the opportunity to learn, practice and improve my singing skill with professional teachers in the field of classical singing.
And I am currently using this singing ability to present the desired feeling in the song.
- Moving from Iran to Italy must have been a significant transition for you. Ayric, how has your cultural background influenced your music, and how do you navigate blending different musical influences in your compositions?
Basically, this forced migration happened because of the existence of a dictatorship in my country, Iran, and forced me to pay a lot of money and lose a lot of time.
But anyway, this has given me a better perspective of the future
Most of the songs that have been released were created before the migration. After moving, I have composed other songs, which will be released soon.
I use elements of Persian pop music in my work and always will; but for diversity and creating new works, I use elements from different genres of music, so that it is in the format defined for me.
- “Life is Beautiful" seems to carry a powerful message about finding hope and beauty in the face of life's challenges. What inspired you to write this song, and how do you hope it resonates with your audience?
The message of this song is clear, “Life is beautiful, open your eyes”.
The text of this song is from the famous Iranian poet “Rumi”.
This song is about wisdom, and like hundreds of other artists, I share my experiences with the audience in the form of songs.
We, as humans, face many challenges, and it can be like a long marathon, and the thing that saves us is having hope and looking at the beauty of life.
This song has a sentence: “I have seen the cure after throwing away the pain.” This means that we must see beyond the problems, difficulties, and pains to be able to overcome the challenges and continue our life's path.
We should not just be alive, we should live and enjoy it.
We Persians have a proverb that says: whatever comes from the heart will be placed on another's heart, and the audience who has a similar experience will connect with this song.
- Your collaboration with artists from different backgrounds, like the song "Incontrare te," demonstrates a willingness to explore diverse musical ideas and styles. How do you approach collaborations, and what do you believe they bring to your creative process?
Yeah, this collaboration was a wonderful experience and I have a long relationship with these artist friends
And when we came to the conclusion that we are offended by racial discrimination and the lack of equality and peace in different countries, and as artists, we felt it was our duty to do something to protest this situation, and finally, the song “Incontrare te” was made.
I am very interested in communicating with other artists, and I will continue these collaborations in different ways in the future.
In general, meeting different cultures is very attractive and will also lead to more knowledge, more learning and richer music.
- As an artist who has experienced different stages and platforms, from performing on stages in Rome to being featured on Italian TV, how do you feel your music has evolved, and what are your aspirations for the future in terms of your musical career?
I really enjoy performing on stage; seeing the emotional impact that my singing has on the audience is very interesting to me.
I am very happy that I can make and perform music that makes the audience feel good.
Performances definitely bring experiences and help to further progress.
In the future, I plan to release the songs and videos that I am working on and communicate with more audiences and also engage in music activities on a wider level.

i was tagged @shadowhrts & @bllvkbird to make an oc using picrew! thank you both very much for the tag!! 💕💕😘🥰
tagging: @sarahlyons, @arkadys, @prometheusascendant, @deserthum, & anyone who would like to have some fun and make some ocs in a picrew!!
i couldnt just pick one so i made several! top left is sveta; she’s one of my bloodborne ocs and my all time favourite oc! she’s a sweet doctor who becomes sick with the plague that afflicts yharnam :( top right is wisteria! she is my stardew valley farmer! she’s a fae trying to blend in with human society :’) she loves making wine and loves her chickens very much!
bottom left is sigrun! she is my dark souls 3 oc! she’s a very quiet (shes shy!) sorcerer. shes not very good at fighting so she travels around with my other oc ayric (who is the unkindled one!). he is boisterous enough for the both of them so she mostly just stands there looking pensive. and finally bottom right is piety! she is one of my DND characters, she is a tiefling warlock! she’s...sort of a brat but has a good heart!
It’s finally time to introduce the secondary project I’ve been working on >;Dc
I’ve had this queued for sometime in June, did not check when, so hello on [random date in june] ;D
I’m also here to explain how I’ll be posting this stuff going forward! Everything will be posted here, on my main account before being reblogged over to Soul’s Anchor a side bog with the place holder title. Unless it deals with more adult/suggestive content or heavier topics, of which will be exclusively posted to Soul’s Anchor side blog. As I don’t want certain themes alongside AM! I’ll also be referring to this series as Anchor for short! I will encourage any and all Questions, Mentions, and Thoughts to be directed there for those interested and those who are not, dw! You’ll only see the initial posts here, no asks or follows up, but this is still my art account and I shall enjoy it as I please ;3
Brief Synopsis about the Story:
A queer love story following a cursed pirate and a cult refugee implanted with a god’s eye as they combat the reality of living in a world which was created solely to feed the gods that govern it. All whilst a sapphic couple attempt to help guide the pair along a path to to a better future, one that’s validity comes into question. A dark fantasy story that aims to represent the disabled community, the LGBTQIA+, and SA survivors written by fellow members of these communities.
Also brief disclaimer, I, Phlurrii, am simply an ally to the disabled community, my partner in crime writing alongside me, ArtJunco on Instagram, is our resident community member ;]
Anyways onto the meat of this!
Below is a collection of some, emphasis on some, of the concept art and processes I went through to develop and create one of the two main characters, Lumae.
Here are some of the earliest ideas, the basic thoughts I had in my brain when developing this goober after a 3 hours pacing in my kitchen at 1 am when that inspiration struck. His hair was the HARDEST bit for me to figure out. Which sucked as usually the hair is one of the first things I figure out because of how much I love it, so it was Agony while brainstorming that part.
I also briefly considered a goatee, however it was so cruelly shot down by my dear friend. So in stead we compromised that he may get one later down the line story wise… and see how we feel then. However, upon finally figuring out his hair I was bloody elated, still has some tweaks now and then, but the base is there.
As for this next concept, this was actually the FIRST thing created for Lumae and what started everything else about his character/design! His eyes! They are still my favourite but about him and something I adore whole heartedly! They are the core of his character ;3c
These next few are early refs and mock ups of his full design, testing our colours, experimenting with shading, getting used to drawing humans again, and general concepts I had for him as a character! Also a sneak peak at Ayric, our second main goober for this story! Who was lovingly designed and created by ArtJunco!
And finally his most recent WIP ref! The only thing currently bothering me about his design is the colour for his boot covers, I have no idea what to do with them so I’d you have suggestion or ideas, sincerely, feel free to shoot an ask to the Anchor blog! I’d genuinely love outside opinions!
As for the main curiosity of why I’m doing this, for those that missed the last post, I’ll give a brief explanation below ;3
To help with burnout so I can hop between fixations, help to avoid losing interest in AM in the future!
Keep up practicing humans and critters alike.
To take a break from story telling to do story building! Give the telling part of my brain a break, while still making cool stuff ;]
To have a more interactive blog with ya’ll! One where I’ll likely be asking advice and discussing a lot more hypotheticals, doodling asks, and general audience interaction given I am not bound by any updates! Purely just “ooo… shiny-“ and anyone is welcome to join me ;D
Last thing I request is to please read Anchor’s blog bio/description before you follow, as this story will deal with subjects not suited for all audiences posted/discussed exclusively on that blog.
Anywho, that’s all for now folks, hope you enjoyed this brief intermission to kickoff the second project being public!

1: First game you played obsessively? To the shock of many, it was not Pokemon. The first game that I ever played obsessively, would have to be Super Mario Bros 3. I used to play that game so much down in the basement, because I wanted to “be better than my dad at it”. I was a competitive 7 year old tbh.13: A game you’ve never played that everyone else has? There are,,, a lot. My family wasn’t ever the most well off, so the amount of games I’ve played is actually really small. And now that I can buy my own games, I’m always super wary about it, because I’m scared to make a purchase that I won’t like, you know? As for a specific game though, I’ve never played Skyrim or any variation of it at all. I only know what it is due to friends playing it. I’ve also never played Undertale? It came out during a really financially unstable time, and I refused to give anyone my steam in fear that they’d buy it for me. 24: First Pokemon game?Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness! Mom got me Diamond as a birthday present, then my old friend Douglas gave me Ruby, Sapphire, and Yellow the birthday after because I wouldn’t shut up about Pokemon, and since he was “too cool” for it, he may as well give it to me.Ruby was the first one I beat.I do sometimes count Diamond as my first though, as it was the first mainseries game I played. I don’t own it anymore though for one reason; I gave it to a little kid so that it could be his first Pokemon game. He was my brother’s friend, but instead of playing with Ayric, he was watching me play Sun. When I asked him if he’d ever played Pokemon, he said no, and explained how he doesn’t want to bother his parents for money for a game, considering he knows how bad money-wise they are. So, I told him to wait a moment, went in my room, grabbed my old ds lite (never used it because the start button was broken, and considering I mainly shiny hunt..), my spare ds charger, and Pokemon Diamond. I gave them to the kid, and told him to “Start his Pokemon Journey”. I also gave the kid my phone number, so that his mom (or he) could call me if they had any questions.I got a call from his mom maybe an hour after he went home, and she’s sobbing and thanking me repeatedly because she “hasn’t seen her son this happy in so long…” She offered to pay me for all of it, but I obviously turned her down. anyways this is the thing I’m most proud of doing and it has nothing to do with the question so moving on, sorry for the tangent39: A sequel that you would die for them to make?okay so not really a sequel persay, since the game itself is sequel, but recently I’ve been replaying a game from my childhood called The Legendary Starfy. It’s dumb, it’s silly, but you are a starfish. And honestly?? It’s really fun to go back and play it again, and I wish I could play it’s four prequels, but they were only released in Japan :C I wouldn’t mind playing a new Starfy game, sequel, or a rereleased prequel! 50: If you were a game designer, what masterpiece would you create?hell if I know, I’m uncreative as fuck
