why did you choose your url?

this...was supposed to be a short explanation but it turned into quite a tale so strap in i guess because we are going on a ride. back in 2017 i was just getting into musical theatre rp and i was still feeling too shy to really talk to anyone ooc so i would just wait for people i wanted to interact with to post starter calls so i could just do things in character with them the easy way. So i did this with my friend cam, who posted a starter for me using a lyric from If I Could Tell Her. she linked the song so i could listen to it, so i did and i went ‘wait a minute, is that Ben Platt from Pitch Perfect?? (and other things too, but i only recognized his voice at the time bc of the acappella girl movies)’ and yes it certainly was.

i had zero idea what the plot of Dear Evan Hansen was about at that point, and for some reason based off Just That One Song and the poster art of who i assumed was Some Guy in a Polo Shirt i started to think it was about some jock guy who broke his arm and had an emo/goth friend who had either died or gone missing under mysterious circumstances. also i intuited that Evan had a crush on his friend’s sister but he couldn’t tell her that directly or his emo friend would kick his ass. so i was like mostly wrong, but a little bit right.

oh and i knew jared and alana were characters from the show bc cam said that they were i think?? but i had no idea what their role was. so after listening to if i could tell her, i listened to good for you and all i really got out of that was that evan the apparently not-jock guy had done...something... that really hurt jared and alana. and at that point i finally decided to go look up a plot synopsis and i found out i was waaay off base. but honestly this is why cast recordings should include scene dialogue in the songs bc otherwise you just get soundtracks like dear evan hansen where the songs have like. zero context. we really just go from waving through a window to for forever to sincerely me without like. any reason as to what is happening huh. It’s honestly not a surprise anymore that all those people on twitter had no idea the plot isn’t about gay teenagers.

anyways. cam was writing jared and she made a post at one point about wishing somebody would write alana and i was like ‘oh i could do that!’ (after i had actually Seen a bootleg and finally knew what the whole story was, of course) so i made a multimuse rp blog featuring alana beck, nabulungi hatimbi, chloe valentine and some other characters, and cam started sharing her headcanons with me that alana is trans, jared and alana were close friends when they were little kids but they sort of drifted apart as they got older and their priorities in life changed, jared was the first person alana came out to when she realized she’s trans, etc.

one night i started talking about wanting to pick a more theatre-relevant url for my blog and trans-[character name] urls were getting pretty popular, and at least 3 of the friends i made through rp had changed theirs to coordinating trans-[character name] and i think it was cam suggested i should make mine be trans-alana so i did. eventually i realized the unhyphenated version was available so i changed it to transalana with no hyphen and i have lived here ever since. sometimes i think about changing it but i feel like transalana has become a part of My Brand and i am not so great with coming up with cool names for things.

in theory, i have sideblogs... i don’t really use them, but of the ones i do have, there is:

emsbookblog - this was supposed to be where i would post excerpts of the book that i’m working on, but i think i did that maybe one time roughly 2 years ago and then promptly forgot about it/got nervous about my writing and was scared to share anything else. the rest of the stuff that is there is assorted writing tips. i don’t really know what to do with it now. i probably should post all my little thoughts about em and anita and caleb there instead of infodumping on my main from time to time, but if i do that then i have to promo a sideblog and direct people over to it which is always annoying to me when i could just do it on this blog which is much easier

dearnovelhansen - this is basically no longer used, but was a sideblog i made specifically to talk/complain about the novel adaptation of Dear Evan Hansen which was about 3 years ago?? maybe? i can’t be trusted to understand the passage of time. but to summarize: i thought it was an honor just to have the story be made more accessible since many of us couldn’t see the stage performance, but i hated a lot of the creative liberties that were taken. my main grumbles are that everyone who isn’t evan or connor is done so dirty in the novel. connor’s still kind of done dirty in the book, but not as much as like. heidi, alana, jared, and zoe are.

horseisle3 - this one was meant to be a place where i could just enthusiastically post screenshots from hi3, but instead it turned into a blog where i occasionally reblog other players’ hi3 content and bitch about how bad the game admins are bc hi3 is the tumblr famous (infamous?) homophobic horse game. the game where it was once okay to call your club store the gulag bc according to their head of hr, ‘it’s just a russian word for prison’ but you can’t say ‘im gay’ without somebody accusing you of corrupting young children who play the game. unfortunately there aren’t very many good interactive horse games out there, so this one is still about as good as it gets. it’s either that or star stable and i don’t care about star stable.

mlaenie - i’ve had this url saved for i don’t even know how long. way way way back in the day when i wanted to escape from the clutches of the onceler fandom i abandoned my first blog where i basically had an alter ego i guess?? and i decided to just be myself on the new blog. i don’t fully remember who came up with it, but one of my sister’s mutuals suggested that if you scrambled the letters in your name you could come up with aesthetic-looking urls. so lauren’s url became lrauen, and to match with her mine became mlaenie, which i abandoned on tumblr after about a year or so? but have continued to use as my main username on twitter, reddit, youtube, xbox, steam, and discord. i barely ever use any of these accounts aside from twitter, steam, and xbox, but yeah. so i’ve decided to try and turn this empty sideblog into a place for video game thoughts maybe. we’ll see how long it lasts this time around.

how long have you been on tumblr?

i made my first tumblr account in december of 2010, but i didn’t understand how to use it at all or how to customize my theme to look cool and unique so i quickly abandoned it. i made a new account in september of 2011 after some kids at school and my sister told me i should and i have been trapped here with varying degrees of activity/inactivity ever since. i have witnessed the rise and fall of the lorax/onceler fandom, hyperfocused on lord of the rings, star wars and back to the future all at the same time, and for the past 4 years i’ve mostly been a musical theatre blog with assorted other fandom stuff mixed in. i feel i have seen everything and nothing, but mostly i’m just tired and bored.

do you have a queue tag?

no bc i don’t use a queue. i’ve tried using it in the past but i irrationally feel pressured to sustain a coherent theme to queued posts and my brain simply does not vibe with that so i just don’t use it at all anymore. Instead i instantly reblog or post several unrelated thoughts in succession and then don’t post again at all for 3 days. the way god intended

why did you start your blog in the first place?

my very first blog was intended to be a place for me to post all of my petz 5 animals’ profile info, but i didn’t have any understanding of how coding worked at all and i don’t think i really wanted to learn, either. so it just sat there, unused. my second attempt at blogging was as a classic rock fandom person, so as you can probably imagine i was pretty pretentious about ‘modern pop’ vs the beatles, the rolling stones, the who, the monkees, and so on. and then i slowly devolved into a lorax fandom blog and everything went to shit so i made a new blog for lord of the rings/the hobbit which later evolved to include star wars and back to the future blogging. and then for the past 4 years i’ve been mainly a musical theatre blog with other random stuff i like thrown haphazardly into the pot. wonderful.

why did you choose your icon/pfp?

because my url is transalana and two of my most prominent lgbt headcanons are that alana beck is trans and a lesbian. i gotta be shouting out @kinqmike though bc she’s the one i adopted the trans alana beck headcanon from in the first place!

why did you choose your header?

in 2017 i was hyperfixating on Dear Evan Hansen (and Be More Chill, but there weren’t many gif-able videos then considering it ran for a month in New Jersey in 2015 and there was only one yet-to-resurface 35 minute bootleg) so i just grabbed a random gif off of google. i really should get to replacing it with a new header of my own though. i just don’t know what i should do for it.

what’s your post with the most notes?

i have lost track of how many notes it has (i think it’s somewhere around 200 now?) but when Will Roland and George Salazar performed Two Player Game on Good Morning America, i posted a screencap of their Jeremy and Michael along with that one quiz answer meme that says stuff like ‘i want to see it grow up healthy’. i didn’t tag it with any ship names or anything because i was anxious about having it show up in the tags, but somebody who reblogged it from me did tag it as boyf riends and i firmly believe it took off because of that. i don’t think i make posts that are relevant enough to amass thousands of notes, even by accident. which is probably a good thing bc if i did i would have to block so many of them.

how many followers do you have?

on this blog? 175 according to the counter. how many of those are still real people and how many are bots and abandoned accounts? i have no idea.

how many people do you follow?

i try to keep it somewhere around 200. i think i’m sitting at 180 right now but i kind of need to go through and clear out the really inactive blogs.

have you made a shitpost?

let’s think about this for a second. i’ve been on tumblr for nearly 10 years. you might even be able to say i’ve made more than one. they’re just not what you would call...popular shitposts.

how do you feel about ‘you need to reblog this’ post?

that stuff makes me so incredibly anxious that i have to fight the urge to want to yeet my laptop or mobile device through the closest window whenever i read it, so i try very hard to avoid any sort of ‘if you don’t reblog this, i’m judging you’ posts. i find them very manipulative and not particularly helpful

do you like tag games?

yeah babey!! i just frequently forget to do them, but please know that if you have ever tagged me in a tag game i felt incredibly touched by the gesture and the @mention even if i completely forgot to do the thing afterward

do you like ask games?

i do! but also rip to literally anyone who has ever sent me an ask meme bc it takes me so long to answer them. i’m still working on a micro fic prompt from a few weeks ago. also, horrified to realized that it has in fact been a few weeks and not 3 days anymore.

i don’t know that any are tumblr famous as a whole. but probably @neverheardnothing

do you have a crush on a mutual?

in any sort of romantic connotation? no. not that i’m aware of. there are mutuals that i have friend crushes on where i want to be friends with them but i get so anxious when it comes to meeting new people that usually nothing ever comes of it. i’m really not good at small talk or other casual conversation either which, as you may or may not be able to imagine, sucks. i just wanna skip over all of the awkward introductions and ‘hey how are you, how is life, what are you doing with yourself?’ stuff. not because i don’t care about it. i do, but i think most of my friends/the people i want to be my friends are also depressed and anxious so asking these basic questions about life tends to uh. make us all nervous. and i don’t do much with my life so i always have the most boring answers anyways.

TITLE: Not as it seems 

CHAPTER NO./ONE SHOT: Chapter two

AUTHOR: Technically a-pandoras-box-of-characters, but my story blog (a-pandoras-box-of-stories) is a side blog, so I’ll likely be reblogging my story there too. 

ORIGINAL IMAGINE: Imagine that Loki is banished to Midgard shortly after Thor: the dark world. However, as punishment for his crimes, he is forced into the form of a common animal on earth to prevent his use of magic and silver tongue. This common animal is a cat. 

RATING: Right now should be fine for anyone to read, later chapter rating may change. 

NOTES/WARNINGS: Up until they learn his name, he is thought not to have one. The characters I’m using are Rp characters, but I thought that this would be fun. Feedback would be appreciated! :) (Also, her name is pronounced “Eye-zale-ia,” similar to ‘Azalea,’ but different because I’m weird and like the sound of my spelling better.)

The next morning, Izzy woke up to the sight of the plate that she had left being almost entirely empty. There did not seem to be any trace of the selections of meat that she had set out, which brought a smile to her face as soon as she had wiped her eyes and stretched her sore muscles out. 

Swinging her feet over the edge of the bed, Izzy went over to the plate and picked it up. Walking out of her room, she shut the door behind her. Softly, so as to hopefully not wake the cat still sleeping on her bookshelf. After that, she went to the kitchen to get herself something to drink. Taking her time with it, she sighed quietly. It looked like neither Ash nor Luna were awake yet, so she took it upon herself to go through the bags of cat supplies and toys that they had brought back the night before. 

There were several different kinds of cat treats, a few bags of catnip, cans of wet food, and at the bottom of one bag, what looked like the receipt for an order they’d made for some sort of a cat climby thing due to be delivered later on in the day. 

“Well..he ought to enjoy that, it’s pricey so it must be good.” Aizalea shrugged to herself, setting the receipt to the side for the moment. The next bag had various kinds of kitty toys, and little shirts to put on him. Something, that Izzy was fairly certain was likely Ash’s idea. Sitting separate from the two overflowing bags, was a box for a self-cleaning litter box, and a big bag of litter that had a bunch of stuff listed off on the front. ‘Fresh scent guaranteed to last for hours,’ ‘Perfect feel for your cat’s paws,’ ‘Clumps well and works great with self-cleaning litter boxes’ - and so forth. 

“This wasn’t here last night..” Izzy muttered to herself, then shaking her head. She figured there must have been some point in the night when either Luna, Ash, or both of them could not sleep and brought it inside for her to set up for the kitty. 

“Oh, well. I hope that he likes all of this..” she sighed, pulling the stuff out to begin clipping off the tags. As she did this, she set aside together what went together. Toys with toys, food with food, and clothes by themselves. The clothes, being something that she wasn’t sure that he was even going to cooperate for - really, she was expecting more hissing and growling if any of the three of them tried to put a shirt on him. 

As for said feline, he was not bothered with moving until after Izzy had finished going and out of her room about a million times to set things up for him. Food and water dishes in one spot, a fluffy pillow in another; he assumed that it was meant for him to sleep on. There was a basket with toys in it, one of which seemed to have some sort of treat inside, judging by the smell of it. 

Most of the things that had been brought into her room were not too horrible, he supposed. It did not mean that he was in any more of a mood to ‘communicate with her,’ though. Especially when he found the litter box. Such an undignified thing! Horrendous. It was better than going in a dark, disgusting alley. True. But that did not mean that he was not planning for his revenge the very moment he had the chance to get it. Sticking him in the form of a cat with no way to change back. The nerve. After all that he’d been through, hadn’t it been enough? Being stuck like this was just another thing to be bitter and unhappy about. 

However… the food that Izzy had left for him the night before was not bad. It was actually very delicious, and not hard to eat even with him being stuck as an animal. Had he been ready to trust her - which he wasn’t - it was likely that he would have accepted her little “peace offering.” Given that he was still in a sour mood, it was going to take more than that to get him to respond well to her. Or to the other two - if he ever did warm up to that hyper one at all.  In some ways, she reminded him far too much of his brother, who was a large part of why he was stuck like this now.

After being left in here for what felt like forever, he decided that maybe Izzy wasn’t around. He was sure she suspected something but wasn’t holding his breath for her to figure it out completely any time soon. He wasn’t that lucky. 

Left to his own devices, he went over to the bookshelf and worked a book off of it. Nudging it over to his pillow, he opened it up and tried to hold it open as best as he could. It didn’t work as well as he’d hoped, so a toy was retrieved from the basket so that he could use it to hold the book down. With that accomplished, he went over to lay on the pillow and try to read the book. No matter how he tried looking at it, though, the words all looked just like a bunch of squiggles and meaningless lines to him. One more thing to be mad about! He’d forgotten..most animals could not read. 

Turning away from the book in anger, he curled up on his pillow to sulk. It hurt less but was still painful. How he wished he had his magic back, then these injuries would be nothing. Then again, if he had his magic, then he wouldn’t be stuck as this creature either. Doomed to be what, a house pet? Wonderful.

A few hours later into the morning, Ash and Luna got up and went about their business. Making food for themselves, sitting down with a book, or getting dressed. By the time that was all done, the delivery for the kitty condo had been made. Seeing as Luna had sat down with her book again not long after she’d gotten dressed and looked to be pretty invested in the story, Ash decided to help Izzy put it together. Which, proved to be a lot easier than the instructions made it look to be. 

As they put the pieces together, Ash could tell that her friend had something on her mind. 

“Okay, what’s up?” Ash asked her, with a nudge to Izzy’s leg from her foot. 

“Hm?” Izzy looked up a bit, a slight frown on her face. Pausing with the piece that she had in her hands, she sighed. “Oh, right..” chewing on the side of her lip, Izzy shrugged. Going to put the piece of the condo where it belonged, she heard Ash clearing her throat at her. 

“I know when something’s bothering you, Iz. Spill, or the next time that we have tomatoes I’m stealing all of yours.” Ash folded her arms, the piece that she’d picked up still in her left hand. The look that she gave her as she made her - relatively cheap - threat to steal Izzy’s favorite snack away from her the next time she had it, said that she was serious. 

“Come on, tell me. Is it about the cat?” Ash pressed, her expression softening just a little. “Is he not doing well, or not communicating with you, or what?” 

The continued asking finally got to Izzy: what she’d had on her mind for most of the morning was going to be spoken one way or another; whether Izzy liked it or she didn’t, one thing about having another hybrid as a friend was that she had the same sense for emotions that Aizalea herself did. She could tell when someone was upset, it was like another added sense or something. 

“Yeah, kinda..” Izzy sighed, running a hand through her hair. “He won’t tell me anything, so I have no idea if he’s already got a name or not. And, on top of that..” she trailed off, her eyebrows creasing slightly. “I have been trying to decide if I should try using magic to help him heal or not. I don’t know how he’d respond to it, and I’m a little afraid that it may just scare him.” 

Once having confessed this, Izzy looked over at Ash for her opinion. It was then, that Luna looked up from her book to make a comment of her own on the situation. 

“Why don’t you bring him out to see the cat thing, and try healing him up later? Maybe if you do it slowly over time, then he won’t be as afraid? It might also help if he’s got somewhere to go of his own, outside of your room.” Looking back down at her book again, Luna began to read as she awaited any answers from either Aizalea or her sister Ash. 

Thinking it over, Ash nodded. “That sounds like a great idea! Why don’t we get this set up and put treats in it, then you can go and get the kitty and see how he reacts to it?” she suggested this with a smile, while Izzy thought about it for a moment. 

“I guess I could try that, yeah..” she sighed finally, nodding a bit. “I’m just hoping that he will take well to it,” Izzy concluded, going back to helping Ash put the remaining pieces to the kitty condo together. It was a brownish-grey color scheme - not the most appealing thing in their living room, but it was covered in nice, fluffy, carpeting, which should feel good to even the sorest feline paws; Izzy was sure that he would enjoy, or at least tolerate it well. 

With it put together, Izzy got up from the floor and brushed herself off. Heading to her room, she opened the door and looked inside. The first thing she came to, was what appeared to be the cat that she’d left in there earlier - the same cat - sulking on the pillow that she’d left him. That wasn’t what she found to be odd. What she found to be odd, was the presence of the book sitting on the floor in front of it. One of the toys that she’d left for him had been moved to hold it open like he wanted to try to.. read it? 

What was going on?

“You’re not a normal cat, are you..?” Izzy shut her door behind her and took a few steps closer to him. Squatting down, she slowly sat down fully and crossed her legs. The cat in front of her shifted slightly on the pillow but didn’t turn to face her yet.  His ears were perked up, alert and twitching. Even if he wasn’t looking at her, it appeared that she at least had his attention. 

“This book, you were trying to read it..” she pressed lightly, turning the book around so that she could see it better. “Tell me, I promise I won’t hurt you. Just speak to me..” Aizalea’s brows furrowed, a concerned look on her face. If this didn’t work, she didn’t know what else she was going to try in order to get some form of communication from him. 

After what seemed like several minutes of excruciating and frustrating waiting, the cat turned his head and looked at her. Ears back, he finally answered her. To anyone else, it may have sounded like a simple ‘meow.’ To Aizalea, it sounded like words. Words! At last, she was getting somewhere.  However, it was not exactly a very helpful answer. Four words, taken up in one meow and a huff following it. 

“You have no idea.”

Now, onto the heart of the post!

   ♛   Who the heck is my muse, anyway? Elizabeth Eva Alexandria Cross, the only biological daughter of Kaien Cross, her father (a canon vk char), and Eva Liliya Cherie Cross, her mother (an oc muse)! Elizabeth is a vampire hunter by blood like all in her family before her! But, shh! Your character isn't supposed to know that .  .  .  unless they're also a hunter .  .  .  or a perhaps a vampire (since her family from both sides are famous hunters, but even then they don't have to know she's a vamp killer if you don't want them to) .  .  .  or they're some sort of ally to her / the hunters association since she can't just tell anyone her actual work on a whim. Where she's from, the existence of vampires are a secret from most of humanity and it's her job to kill the dangerous people-hurty ones and keep that nice and secret so as to avoid a world war! 'Nothing about her is complicated at all', I say, lying through my teeth like Bethy does to society every day by keeping her job and true lifestyle hidden :'D

   ♛   Points of Interest:           - She was born and raised to fight against unruly beasts and composed foes alike. Despite her youth, she's a one-woman powerhouse and is not afraid to take herself down with an opponent if she deems it necessary. She's like the Smash player who hits the fake smash ball to take out an enemy on their last legs, even at the expense of her own life. She'll do it! Except in Smash she'd probably just win the match because she had an extra life and not, you know, not die forever for real in a last grand battle.

          - She's got vamp genes all over the place and is rare among hunters. She's biologically immortal like a Pureblood despite not being a vampire herself and is living testimony of what her predecessors took from Purebloods both by honorable bestowal of blood from the mysterious Hooded Woman, and straight up [insert painting of Jupiter Devouring His Son here]. Her great grandparent is 3k+ years old, her father is 200+ for devouring his own twin-- it's messy as mythology, but anime :'D  She herself is only 18 on default though (19 in K Crossover--), the youngest of her entire bloodline, and she can still be slain in battle even if she is much hardier than a typical human being. She's also sensitive to auras, and capable of sensing vampires.

          - Things characters might notice? She's ghostly pale and kind of looks like she stepped out of The Last Unicorn. She looks cold, sophisticated, and vaguely otherworldly-- she really doesn't radiate the friendliest of vibes unless she's doing something she loves, and the calculated yet seemingly effortless grace of her movements are prominent in and outside of combat. She is descended from an ancient royal line, and those posh, stuffy mannerisms and formal speech pattern live on through her even if the Adrasteian monarchy no longer exists.

          - She truly isn't a trigger-happy person, whatever the title of 'hunter' implies, and keeps a level head in most situations. Sure, Bethy looks as if she could bite someone's head off and can display some seriously threatening flashes of anger, but she's not going to do something rash and will only resort to drawing her weapons in a serious matter. She's here to save lives, maintain peace, and keep order, not disrupt it and set off a war! No pressure on her, right?

         - She is also notably, NOT a high school student, though she may be mistaken for a high school senior or young college student since her age fits the bill. Elizabeth actually graduated from her high school at age sixteen and took to hunting full-time immediately after. She was convinced to slow it down by her grandparents and began preparing for college when her assignment at Cross Academy arrived and, uh, pretty tragically, hasn’t been able to attend any classes due to her work demands. Come to choose between the world and personal fulfillment? Her conscience only let her have one choice; a hunter must hunt.

    ♛   What they’ve been up to recently:           - Work. There's hardly a time when this girl isn't working or planning what to do next, and the workload only grows after the previous president is outed as a dishonorable, self-serving traitor to the hunters. She's seriously injured after trading blows with him and is promptly benched to deal with the fallout and mental agony, but she's back within a year (and in K's crossover? Only six months later!).

          - Having said that, Elizabeth does have days off and will spend them quietly with her friends, or alone with music and a rejuvenating swim.

          - Depending on the time in her life? Her life circumstances vary drastically-- she can go from a young huntress travelling on her own as duty demands, or she can be a mother of five children and trusted right hand of the new hunter president, Zero Kiryuu. She lives for a long time, so she's always up to something! And of course, she's always motivated to fight for a better future. 

   ♛   Where to find them:            - Aside from work, check the beach!           - In all seriousness, I’m up for pretty much anything. She needs more friends, more enemies, people to protect, people to be protected by, people she looks up to, people who legitimately unnerve her, everything! I just don’t feel comfortable killing her. Elizabeth fought really hard to get her future and deserves to find comfort after her entire childhood-young adult life was spent thinking the only thing of worth she had was her role as a huntress. I do really, really love angst though, so anything else goes, really c:

     ♛   Offered Interactions ( please sit tight for this! it will be divided into multiple sections! ) :           - IF YOUR CHARACTER IS HUMAN:                - She’ll assume your muse is an average civilian until shown otherwise (be it with unusual powers, whacky aura, combat prowess, or prior knowledge from a report or something-- a plot specific thing). Unless they truly know about vampires / work with the Hunters Association, Elizabeth will not be sharing any information about who or what she is without a legitimate reason (such as the human character being bitten by a Pureblood and thus is being turned into a vampire themselves). However, the other party being kept in the dark about vampires can open the door to a more relaxed Elizabeth without her professional, perfectionist mindset. She’s more likely to have a pleasant conversation with humans since they have no part in the hunt-- but in that same vein, she does aim to keep them at a certain distance and not develop a deep emotional bond (but she’s also a lot softer than she looks and acts and tends to care for others quickly, should they get along). It’s a tricky slope .  .  . She’s thawed out and the nicer aspects of her personality are far more prominent, but at the same time, she’s not being entirely genuine. Give her time and she’ll become more open about personal things, just, not her work.

               - Applies to her K Proj. Crossover.  Working with S4, Elizabeth takes some time to adjust, but ultimately loves the organization and the people within it. They’re an exception to her ‘no ties with average humans’ rule because....errr.... they’re not the average human she’s used to protecting and in that verse they’re aware of her occupation and peculiar heritage. She’s not as cold first impressions might suggest and loves Reisi’s weird af team building nights, it’s hard for her to not have a soft spot for them, even as an outsider and unofficial member (as in, she has none of the abilities the Blues have, but she has her natural abilities).

         - IF YOUR CHARACTER IS A HUNTER:                 - Elizabeth is a known figure in hunter society; her great grandfather, grandfather, and aunt were previous heads of the organization and each are still alive at present. So, it probably makes more sense if your hunter character at the very least knows about her-- unless they’re an off-series muse in which case go wild and do what you think is best! I always did like the idea of two vampire hunters chilling together with neither one knowing the other is a fellow hunter until they’re attacked by a vamp and they’re both like ‘Oh!’

               - A simple but always reliable plot idea is two hunters on a joint mission! It’s really important to know that Bethy does not take kindly to poor performance and expects her partner to take whatever assignment they have seriously. If not? Things get tundra-cold really fast-- o-o;; People’s lives are at stake and in her opinion, if a hunter wants to mope or complain about their blood-given obligation, they’re not fit to be hunters in the first place. ‘Can’t do the job? Then finish what you started with me if you have any shred of integrity, and get thee gone’ sort of thing. Otherwise, uh :’D;; she’s highly cooperative and always aims to reach the outcome with the least amount of damage.

               - As a teenager, she attended a hunter-run private academy in Adrasteia for four years. If it’s possible for your muse to attend (as in, they are from a vampire hunter family and can pass the rigorous entrance exams), throw em in for a slightly younger, less stringent Bethy? A national fencing champion at the top of her classes, and great granddaughter to the legendary hellfire headmaster, Elizabeth’s not easily missed! It could be the start to an amicable relationship to carry into future interactions?

        - IF YOUR CHARACTER IS A VAMPIRE:                 - Bluntly put, for vampires, it’s probably better to interact with Elizabeth after Cross Academy has fallen in the large battle that took place there. Her mother is revealed to have been alive and held captive as a vampire, she’s already friends with a hunter/vamp, her two friends turned out to be Purebloods, and ‘oh....my mother and father got together again and now I’ve got a younger vampire brother’ .....and her boyfriend’s half sister is also a vampire who marries the former vamp senate heir..... so...vamps everywhere; she simply accepts them as part of the family. Prior to that, while she isn’t hostile to vampires and certainly has no intention to attack a vamp unjustly, it’s not a place she’s eager to put herself in. Depending on how threatened she feels, she’ll even swallow her pride and keep her head down-- mostly.

               - If your muse is a hunter-turned-vampire, she doesn’t treat them as a vampire, rather, she still sees them as a compatriot, like in the case of Zero Kiryuu. Whether or not your muse received the blood of their keeper is up to you, but in the case that they haven’t-- she’s always there to assist in granting mercy whenever the time comes :’)

How to enter a fandom - RPC

Hey guys, time for a friendly PSA from yours truely~

So I’ve been in and out of a lot of fandoms, made friends, enemies, frenemies, grave mistakes and happy accidents. I also see a lot of people come in other fandoms. Most of yall do great but I see some people carry in this weird sort of self deprecating attitude that can immediately turn rpers away from them, which results in; more of that self deprecation. So Im here to hopefully help out with the best ways to enter a fandom or an rpc, make your presence known and make lots of wonderful friends.

Now the first, and most important thing, and I notice a ton of people struggle with it is:

General attitude. 

Let me give two examples of some first time posts.

“Hey! I’m new to the fandom. I know my bio and my theme sucks but would anyone like to rp? Maybe?”

VS.

“Hey! I’m new to the fandom. My bio and rules are located here, though they’re still under construction I’m really eager to develop them with interactions!”

Now I know the first one is tempting for a lot of reasons. You might not even feel like its all that bad, but up next to the second one it actually sounds a little...depressing, monotone, dry. Even though they start the same, one ends with me feeling like: this person really doesn’t put effort into things, they dont even really want to be here. All my threads with them are going to be lazily written or probably written with half baked enthusiasm.

The second person is happy to be here, eager to interact, admits that since they’re a new blog not everything is perfect. Yet, they don’t talk down on themselves or make it seem like anyone who talks to them will only be taking pity on them.

This is actually a big problem I see in the rpc. Making people take pity on you for interactions and the rule with that is simple:

don’t make people feel like they have to take pity on you. 

It’s a knee jerk reaction, I know. We’re all awkward humans on the internet who want to play up our faults. Who wants to say “My stuff is SO awesome! It’s the best”??? 

Well. You do. You’re new to a fandom. People already have established relationships, character arks, possibly with another version of the muse youre playing. Backstories so detailed it’ll make your head spin. You are literally selling yourself to these other rpers. Don’t sell them “A vacuum cleaner that sucks. No, not sucks up the dirt, it just sucks. Like me, Im trash and dont even have a working vacuum” No one wants to buy a vacuum cleaner that sucks.

Hate to break it to you, but when you say you suck, or your stuff sucks; people are gunna believe you. Or they’re just gunna pity you. And thats not great either. 

Heck you might think; why not? So long as they rp with me, whats wrong with that? 

Well... lots of things but mostly; pity isn’t a good feeling. Nobody wants to feel guilted into rping with you. Imagine seeing someone on your dash constantly posting about how no one likes them, their character or interacting with them. How they wanna die because they never get asks, no one likes their starters. (Sound extreme? I’ve seen it.) It makes you feel bad right? It makes you wanna like them but like- where do you even start??? They don’t even like them?? What common ground do you have?? “Hey, I see you hate yourself... uh... I hate you too?” Not great. Actually bad. You don’t know how to approach this person without becoming an emotional crutch, and you know they’ll latch on to you and suck every positive emotion out of your body so how do you win?

So lesson one is; People don’t want to be forced to feel so bad that they rp with you, they want to feel inspired to. Inspire some dudes! (or non-dude identifying people)

I can’t stress enough how important attitude is because I’ve had both a shitty attitude and a great one in the RPC and let me tell you, nothing kills a blog faster than a shitty attitude. Wanna make a self deprecating posts about that meme that you got 0 asks for? NUH UH. Think again. PITY = BAD, SHORT LASTING FRIENDSHIPS. INSPIRED = SUPER AWESOME HAPPY FUN TIMES FOREVER.

Yo, present yourself in a way that makes people wanna approach you. Get them interested, say something wacky or edgy or if your character is self deprecating then self deprecate through them but DO IT IN A FUN WAY. The people who care about icons and fancy promos usually aren’t worth lasting friendships either. Sometimes they literally spend more time formatting than writings something worth while for you. (some of you really balance it and just love formatting but u know im not talking about u Im talking about those that literally wont talk to us that dont)

So present yourself well and be genuine.

HELL NO shut the what up I know you’re not, I know that’s a reflex to cover up how insecure you are, I know you hate how pathetic and small you feel so you point out all the things wrong with you before someone else can. That’s not you, and you are capable of more than that.

Dude. (and non-dude identifying peeps) I’m gunna say it again. I’m gunna say it a million times; one day it will sink in. Everybody feels that way.

The internet is a playground because you can trick people into believing whatever you want about yourself. YEP even good things!!! You don’t have to wear your flaws on your sleeve, and you certainly don’t have to wear them like a full body cast that prevents you from doing anything fun in your life.

Take the cast off, take a risk. You literally have nothing to lose. Especially if no one interacts with you as is anyways.

Be mindful

This is more of a trick I use to make myself feel better. I don’t follow a lot of people so my dash is pretty slow. It’s fairly easy to tell when people are and aren’t active/online so I literally have to trick myself sometimes but;

If you reblog a meme and get nothing, step back and ask yourself; am I sure anyone even saw it? and are the people who did maybe to shy to send anything? Or maybe nothing in that meme applies to their character.

As a mute character I am VERY restricted to what memes I reply to. As a character who speaks VERY LITTLE I am VERY restricted to what dialogues I can send at all. This means I’m required to edit memes a little (this is allowed by most meme creators btw) or I need a very good relationship with a character in order to say/sign that many words at them.

And worse case scenario, queue it and reblog it again/later. Its no biggie, some memes don’t make it.

Self reflect

Check out people on the dash. Do they have interactions? What are they like? Is their character more welcoming? Maybe you’re character is more intimidating. You might need to actually seek out interaction.

Tumblr has this huge enigma where everyone wants asks but no one wants to send them. Curious anons come from someone, magic anons come from your peers, followers, friends. Some of them are pretty obvious. Want asks? Send them. We really need to get the ball rolling with this because its honestly a problem. Show some initiative and reach out. It actually feels pretty good seeing someone react to your outrageous anon. And its a lot of stress relief if you play an otherwise very serious character to get to branch out and be silly.

So you send asks, you like starter calls- why isn’t it working?

Well, a stranger knocks on your door and tries to get to know you. Its a little awkward- it can work sure in some cases. But in most you’ll probably close the door and phone the police.

The RPC isn’t as strange as that but what’s easier? Talking to a muse you’ve never met from a blog you’ve never seen before? Or writing a thread with your best bud, throwing in inside jokes and references to your favourite shows- teasing each other about that one embarrassing thing that happened to your muse- yeah. Yeah you get it.

If you have history or at least an idea what someone is like, you will want to interact with them more. I don’t know if you’re some mean... meanie pants whos gunna smack my muse because he offered you a cookie. And maybe you are, but if I don’t know you, or know that your muse is deeply traumatized by cookies, I might take that as you saying “Ew no get away I never wanna rp with you”.

It sounds harsh, but I KNOW it happens. It STILL happens to me, even with people I’m friends with. Even if someone has multiple blogs and I get on fine with one muse, if the other hates me I might get uneasy about sending in asks cause I feel like I’m directly bothering the mun (who I love on this blog but WHAT IF THEY START HATING ME THERE TOO???)

Separation is tricky. We all get jealous or feel neglected when our partners focus on another thread/ship or send mean angsty replies which is why its important to check yourself remind yourself you have value, mun =/= muse and that it’s all in good fun.

Have Rules

UGH no!!! Not rules I hate rules, I dont want to restrict anyone!

Listen. I get it. I was a rule-less blog for a long time. But you know what? You need them. Not just for you, but for the people who wanna interact. I still feel the need to ask people who have rules what they are and aren’t comfortable with. You might not realize it but shit can go down in rps especially in certain fandoms. Even if its just the basics. Write them. They matter.

Unless you’re fine with someone literally controlling your character, or a blog you dont even follow who RPs David Letterman tags you in a smutty thread where your muse and him are married and he’s heavily pregnant with 4 narwal baby’s I- I think you can see where I’m going.

If its just the basics, thats fine, everyone loves seeing that. No god modding, not forced shipping, ect- great. Less for me to remember. Add to it if you need to. Everyone experiences rp different. Make your experience a comfortable one.

(And stay tf away from me Preggo-letterman)

Step away.

If you’re feeling negative, just step away. Do not make a big post about it alerting everyone who follows you because they might not all respond well. If you have close friends in then fandom you can go to, talk to them, vent a little, or just remove yourself and get those feelings out. But remember that no one here is equipped to be your therapist, and we cant all be expected to take the burden from you. It is up to you to regulate your emotions. Use coping skills but please don’t make the fandom or your blog a toxic place to be.

You don’t feel good, and no one reading your posts feels good, and building friendships on not feeling good is just... completely not good.

Im not saying you must be sunshine and rainbows all the time, but feeling bad feels bad and even though rping is just a hobby and a past time you are still reaching into other peoples lives. Leave a good impact, try to be someone you would want to meet in the rpc. Make it a better place.

Rules & Preferences

***UPDATED DECEMBER 29th, 2017***

I know this looks daunting, but most of it is basic stuff.

1. I don’t rp via Tumblr messenger or any other messaging platform.

I like to go back and reread my threads through the reblogs. Plus, I prefer to keep all of my writing public.

2. No NSFW or smut.

Both mun and most muses are 18+, but NSFW themes will not be explicitly written on this blog.

3. We do NOT have to be mutuals to start a thread.

If you want to plot, but I happen to not be following you, by all means, let’s talk! Just shoot me a message on Tumblr or any of these platforms, and let’s plan something!

On another note, even of we do have an active thread, I may not be following you. This is not a personal thing directed towards you. I typically don’t follow blogs that regularly write NSFW threads, but I will still interact with them in an SFW thread without following them. I also might unfollow someone who does not cut their posts, and they clog up my dash. Again, not a personal thing, just trying to keep my dash clean.

4. You don’t have to follow through with my request to write together.

If I ever message you about plotting, and you’re not interested, just tell me. I’m not going to be offended if you’re not interested in my characters or my style or anything, but I would hope you will be respectful enough to come tell me you’re not interested rather than ignoring my request. 

5. Please be honest with me.

If you’re bored and want to drop a thread, just tell me, and we will let it go - plain and simple, no hard feelings.

6. I reserve the right to drop a thread for any reason.

If I am unable to come up with a reply or feel uncomfortable with the content of our thread, I will come talk to you about dropping it. This is nothing against you as the writer. It is just very stressful for me to force myself to keep up with a thread that I have no interest in or am uncomfortable with. 

7. This is a selective blog.

I have tried being non-selective and semi-selective, but, like I said, forcing myself to write a thread that I have no interest in or am uncomfortable with is very stressful and exhausting. I will be honest (and nice) with you about where I stand on starting a thread when you come to me. I also may not have an idea in that moment, but I could come up with an idea later on that I think would work well with your muse, so a no now does not mean a no forever.

8. My replies can be selective.

Sometimes my muse is stronger for one character or one thread over another. I will keep any threads that I owe replies to in my drafts so I can reply when I feel like I have a good response. This can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days, but I will not drop a thread without coming to you to tell you.

9. Do not assume things about my muse(s).

Got a question about my muse? Ask me! Or, better yet, ask them. Please don’t assume something about my muse and act upon that assumption without confirming it first.

10. No godmodding.

This one really should go without having to be said. I’m more lenient with this than I should be, but you writing for my muse is extremely restrictive to my creative process.

11. Read the information about my blog that I provide for you.

I have worked very hard to make sure this blog is easy-to-read and accessible on desktop, the mobile site, AND the mobile app. Please make sure to at least read my rules and the bio of the muse you are interacting with.

On desktop: Links to my welcome page, about page, rules, mun bio, muse bios, and FAQ are available in the sidebar of my blog’s homepage.

On the mobile site/app: Links to my welcome page, about page, mobile navigation, drafts, and blog page are available in the description of my blog.

If, for some reason, you are unable to access either/any of these things, let me know, so I can get them to you in some form or another.

12. I am on mobile 98% of the time.

I have found ways to finagle just about everything, so I can do almost everything on mobile that I can do on desktop. However, if your desktop theme is not mobile-friendly, I may not be able to find links and such and will come to you to ask for those before attempting to interact.

13. I have a specific format for my posts.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with how rping on mobile works, when you remove the reblogs on a text post, the first post stays, and everything after that is removed. However, if you remove the reblogs on the computer, all of the posts are removed.

Since I rp on mobile, I use that first post to make a title/header for my threads. This header includes the thread title, the URL of my partner, and the name of their character. Throughout the thread, even when reblogs are removed, the title of the thread will stay on top as the first post. 

If you use desktop and we are writing together, PLEASE do not remove the reblogs from your computer. I am very diligent about keeping threads cut via mobile, so they should not be long posts when they get to you. If you remove the reblogs on your computer, it will remove my title post, and I will have to redo it before we continue our thread.

Other than that, I don’t use any fancy text or icons, but I don’t mind if you do on your own blog. Just don’t delete my title post.

14. I will not write threads in which muses are heavily drinking, smoking, or using drugs.

I will not interact with muses who do any of these things. It makes me incredibly uncomfortable and anxious, especially when it comes to alcohol.

15. I don’t curse, but I don’t care if you do.

Same for my muses. They won’t curse within a thread, but they won’t mind if yours do.

16. I don’t care about your spelling/grammar/punctuation mistakes.

I’m a magazine editor irl, and I have a natural affinity for spelling/grammar/punctuation. That being said, I know I make mistakes, and, nine times out of ten, I catch those mistakes and choose not to correct them. This is a hobby for me, so I’m not a stickler for making everything perfect.

17. I try to match length when I can.

Usually my replies are a 1-3 sentences long (One sentence replies being complex sentences), especially when are muses are in an interaction. Long paragraphs can, at times, be daunting to me, but I will always strive to match length.

18. I am the shippiest bean known to man.

If you want to ship with me, let’s talk about it. I want to make sure our muses fit well together so that we can enjoy a nice, meaningful relationship between them.

19. I prefer to plot rather than send in random starters.

This mostly applies to first interactions. I ask a LOT of questions, especially right before I start a new thread, because I want to make sure I understand what you want and how the thread will go. 

20. I do not rp with non-human muses.

I prefer to rp with human muses, especially when starting out with a new partner. I don’t know much about human-animal hybrids or mythical creatures (not that these muses aren’t amazingly-written or valid), and I have a hard time learning and retaining new information about them. If your muse is non-human (demon, vampire, werewolf, witch/wizard, neko, other), and you think you could make a case for them to rp with me, go for it. I’m definitely open to listen and hear what you have to say, but I can’t ensure I will be up for it.

Hey! Welcome to this brand new blog! I’m still trying to figure out what exactly I’m doing. I don’t know how active I’ll manage to be, but I’ve been bit by the Ace Attorney bug (again) and I’d love to get some RPing done, if possible!

- I’m semi-selective. I’ll role play with anyone, mutuals or non-mutuals, but I’m saying I’m semi-selective, just in case since I can be a little picky at times. If your blog’s super inaccessible or your writing is very aesthetic, it’s likely I might not interact with you.

- I am in fact over 18. I’d rather not RP smut on blog, though. Suggestive stuff is fine, but anything farther than that is fade-to-black. (No suggestive stuff with muses under 18 though! Get outta here with that!)

- I’m a little behind in the series. I played through most of the games back in 2014/2015, so… I might be a little dumb to some things, but I am working through a replay, so hopefully, that won’t last forever. Beyond that, the games I explicitly haven’t played yet are Spirit of Justice, AAI2, Phoenix Wright vs. Professor Layton, and the DGS games, and while I’d like to avoid spoilers where I can, I don’t mind RPing with characters I don’t necessarily know yet.

- I’ll be pretty selective on shipping. (Sorry!) I’m very stuck on Wrightworth and I will be ready and down for that, but in all honesty, I'm not much of a multishipper, especially with OTPs like Wrightworth is for me, so if you want something outside of that, I might not be 100% willing.

Beyond that, though, I won’t ignore canon! So, if you have a canon pairing in mind, I won’t just erase it and will usually enjoy writing it to character, but I won’t always necessarily ship it. Lastly, at the end of the day, I’m entirely a chemistry shipper! 

My only thing is that I will not do larger age gap ships or age gap ships where one is under twenty and the other over twenty. They make me highly uncomfortable for very, very personal reasons and that will be the end of that. Thank you. (Note: this is also something I might avoid you for. I'm trying to not think of it too much for the sake of RPing, but this really does make me truly unnerved and it isn't something I can help. Please understand that.)

- OC-friendly and multi-fandom welcome. This… might end up being something I’m a little more selective about, too, but I like leaving my options open! Don’t be afraid to interact or hit me with a DM!

I’m not too good at doing the same big write-ups as everyone else, but I thought I’d just clear some basic stuff up!

I’ll play Phoenix at any age and any point in his timeline! Just make sure to clarify what you want or I’ll most likely default to Phoenix in a vague point in the Trilogy timeline, unless your muse is from one of the later games, obviously.

I prefer Phoenix with brown/black eyes over the more recent blue, but I won’t kill you for saying blue if you decide to write it that way.

My Phoenix is bi! It’s probably still something he never really thought about, but he knows he’s attracted to most people regardless.

As for the mun, I was originally avoiding saying too much about who I am, but I have no self control and my personal blog is sort of indirectly linked here now, anyway. Whoops! So, if you're wondering:

I have 9+ years of role play experience and, maybe... only solid month or two of tumblr RP experience, but I don't think that matters too much, honestly. I was 4 - 5 years into RPing and I still didn't even know how to solidly give people enough to respond to. I think I've gotten better, though. I hope so, anyway.

If I'm ever late to respond, it's because I have ADHD and depression which is a very fun combo for productivity. I go through phases of being productive or not being productive at all which I apologize for, but unfortunately, I do the most that I can about it.

If you do ever really want me to respond, feel free to nudge me about it, though! As long as it doesn't turn into nagging, sometimes I do need the reminder, especially if it's been a while because I start to get scared you'll be upset at me for not responding. (I also get stuck on responses sometimes because I won't know where to go with it and messaging me usually gives me the kick I need to ask about it, too!)

1.   WHAT’S  YOUR  OTP  FOR  YOUR  MUSE? :

i wouldn’t say i have a definitive OTP for ann? at least not in the sense that i vastly prefer her with one character over others because i honestly believe she has considerable potential with a lot of the persona 5 ( young adult ) cast!

however, i won’t deny that there are some pairings i feel more strongly towards than others and those would be ( in no particular order )! :

   – makoto & ann / ann & haru / makoto & ann & haru : i adore these three ( and the entire female cast of p5 too lbr ), both individually and collectively and not exclusively in a romantic context. these three complement one another as duos and as a cumulative trio and anytime i see any content for them, you can bet i’m smashing that motherhecking like button    – ryuji & ann : that animated cut sequence at the conclusion of the seventh palace. u kno which one i’m talking about. yea. that one. that is all. ( ok but in all seriousness there’s so much subtext hinting at them i love them ) –   akechi & ann : this is probably the one that’d elicit the most hate and out of the interest for my safety i shall refrain from elaborating on the reason for this ship here : ‘ ) – ann & girls : ain’t no way in heck she’s straight ( hint: she’s bi ) – me & @burntofight : ilu

2.   WHAT  ARE  YOU  WILLING  TO  RP  WHEN  IT  COMES  TO  SHIPPING? 

this is such a broad question     ummm………….. whatever constitutes the standard ( with the exception of nsfw / heavily grim content ), i suppose? ( i was going to elaborate on what i define as ‘nsfw’ but there’s a question for that later on so i’ll expound there! )

3.   HOW  LARGE  DOES  THE  AGE  GAP  HAVE  TO  BE  TO  MAKE  IT  UNCOMFORTABLE? :

since this is a v sensitive and complicated topic and i have no interest in inciting or participating in discourse, i’ll limit the scope of this question to ann and ann alone.

ann is canonically 16 and ( while emotionally mature for someone her age ) she—as i understand and interpret her—would not, at time the game takes place, date someone older than her by 2 years ( i.e. older than 18 ) or younger than her by 1 year ( i.e. younger than 15 ). given her young age in her canon material, this would invariably change as she grew older, such that by the time she’s in her early 30s she’d be comfortable dating up to 5 years older / 3 years younger. ( please be aware that is based on my understanding of ann and is applicable only in relation to my interpretation of her. ) 

4.   ARE  YOU  SELECTIVE  WHEN  SHIPPING? :

not really! especially when it comes to roleplaying female characters as they so seldom get enough appreciation OOCly that i’m more than amenable to the concept of romantic interest / interaction as compensation for the convention of the fandom’s mistreatment / negligence of them. as long as there’s chemistry between the characters and the muns are in mutual agreement about roleplaying in that context, the idea delights me!

5.   HOW  FAR  DO  STEAMY  MOMENTS  HAVE  TO  GO  BEFORE  THEY’RE  CONSIDERED  NSFW? :

hfakshdas i said i was going to elaborate here but i’m embarrassed……………… AHEM ok! honestly nsfw content of a sexual nature is almost nonexistent across all my blogs regardless of whether the muse in question is a minor or not simply because i’m v awkward w the topic.

as a rule of thumb as to what i’ll tag as nsfw: anything that is more sexual in nature than kissing without tongue; if kissing involves tongue, it’ll be tagged as #nsfw cw / #nsfw ish cw (altho regardless of the intensity of the kiss i’ll still tag it as kissing & pda)

as for the specifics of the extent of nsfw that has the potential to appear on this blog:    – in verses in which ann ( or any of my muses ) is under or around the age 18: anything beyond intense kissing would be considered too nsfw for me to feel comfortable writing and i’d either stop there or have the thread “fade to black”    – in verses in which ann ( or any of my muses ) is an adult [ 20+ ]: anything beyond intense kissing / caressing of the body above the belly button and beneath mid-thigh / removal of shirts and/or pants ( undergarments remain on ) would be considered too nsfw for me to feel comfortable writing and i’d either stop there or have the thread “fade to black”

One entire year at Tumblr :D

DEAL WITH IT

An entire year at Tumblr running a rp blog for a vampire that we now know.. A tiny bit about. Instead of just a whole lot of nothing. When I think about it, I don’t think that much has changed, but looking back... It has. Back when I started up, I honestly had no idea how the customs of tumblr RPs worked. I didn’t know about rules, formatting posts, icons... Honestly NOTHING at all. I’m still amazed that no one yelled at me. 

I think I caught on pretty quickly tho, four months later, I made this blog. Changing from a sideblog, to a main. And boy, that changed a lot. With that came the new icons(why did I decide to go all out with them... Whhyyy), promos, rules, a design(that is very old holy-), and everything a RP’er should have. At least according to tumblr. 

Although I have to say that I still felt a bit alone being on tumblr. I never really got to speak to people OOC, and the ones I reached out to.. Oboi (((: Let’s forget about that. It gradually became better. In May I met what I’d call my first “tumblr friend”. Who unfortunately isn’t very active RP-wise anymore.

December was wild compared to the rest of my time. Starting with a meme that led to me getting to talk with Lily(@elyon-kurae​), not to mention the dear Vero(@monophagia​) joining in on the RP :D! That has led to yet another chain event, and I’m very much involved in the RP community now. I think I finally understand what it’s all about.

And although I’ve been through a lot, weeks of inactivity, spikes of activity and shitposting, tons of asks, lack of asks.. Hm, well, we’re still here. I still have the pleasure of talking to most of the people I did back in the days, and a lot of new to call friends.

@forgottenprogenitor: I think you came along with Lest, with your former muse, Akane. I adored that RP, giving me a chance to show some of Urds more gentle sides. Akihiko was the absolute breakthrough though, I adore him. I love our interactions, and look forwards to yet another year!

@tatsu-rose-bathory: YOU CAME WITH A FLOWECROWN! I remember that much :D! It took a few weeks before we eventually interacted, but I was pretty much in love with Tatsu from the start(still very much am). FAVORITE FCS TO PLAY: Hmmm, Charlie Hunnam is probably one of my favorite FCs. Because tortured and bad ass, and also he looks hot af. Mila Kunis would probably be another one because of her facial expressions. But for the most part, I like to only play an FC once. Because after that, they are forever attached to that character.

FAVORITE SHIP YOU’VE EVER HAD:  Oh dear god, okay ready for this. My all time favorite OTP is something I can only play out in Fannon. DEAN WINCHESTER/BUFFY SUMMERS. Seriously, I ship it so hard it hurts. It started when I started RPing Buffy four years ago, and now it’s huge. I have like five million headcannons for them. Like it’s my Buffy OTP. Like I don’t even care that much about Bangel and Spuffy anymore because it’s Duffy for me. I’m writing a crossover virtual series about both of them. LIKE THEY WERE MEANT TO BE TOGETHER SOME HOW. Also FORWOOD FORWOOD FORWOOD. Forwood is bae okay. Tyler loves Caroline with every ounce of his being. Caroline made him a better person. She saw past the douchebag jock front that Tyler put on and pulled him out. She was there for him during his transition when no one else was. Just FORWOOD.

FAVORITE FANDOM YOU’VE BEEN IN:  TVD. Like the fandom is not without it’s problems but it’s the only fandom I have felt at home in. Like even when I play Buffy, I play her in the TVD fandom. I like all the AUs and how into the characters everyone gets.

FAVORITE SONG TO GIVE YOU MUSE:  For Tyler, it’d probably be Becoming the Bull, by Atreyu. For Buffy it’s Superhero by Simon Curtis. and for Jax it’s Later that Year by Straylight Run.

LEAST FAVORITE FCS TO PLAY/PLAY AGAINST:  Uhm, the usual I guess. Most singer/band fcs. Taylor Swift in particular because I don’t like her, and it’s partially because of someone who was shitty to me in my life. 

LEAST FAVORITE RP EXPERIENCE:  It was in my first RP expirence. It ended up working out but was really horrible to through. It was a mob rpg I was a part of, and I was an admin, but they had me doing the graphics and coding, because i’m good at that stuff. I felt really underappreciated and salty that they pushed away all the bios I made. An admin who stepped down and I took her place kinda manipulated me into thinking that the other admins were horrible to me and convinced me to secretly create a new rpg with her, but it had a lotta of the same fcs and I brought the character I played along. Long story short there was a huge war when they found out it was me and the other admin. People were screaming at each other in the OOC blog, and the RPG pretty much died as soon as all that happened. It ended up being fine because months down the road me and the other admins talked things out and two of them are stil really good friends on mine years and years later. One is the the person who convinced me to try out idnies.

LEAST FAVORITE GENRE OF WRITING:  I’m not all that great with the crack stuff. I’m an angst person all the way, I will tear your out. I can do fluff and be cuddly and shit. I love BroTps, but I guess i’m not the best at not being serious (unless it’s with @seesgood and it’s hilarious forwood headcannons).

LEAST FAVORITE FANDOM YOU’VE BEEN IN:  Probably the Buffy fandom. Don’t get wrong, BUFFY IS BAE and i have met some super awesome people in the fandom. But there is kinda a reason that I play Buffy mostly in the TVD fandom. I feel like BTVS has a lotta ships that they just jump into, like they expect everyone to ship with the right away, even if it’s super ooc for both characters. And like, i’m all for AUs but some of the stuff just is a bit redic, and someones always bashing a character, and yeah. BUT I STILL LOVE BUFFY OK.

LEAST FAVORITE THING PEOPLE ASSUME ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER:  Okay, breathe. So a lot of people are not fans of Tyler. They don’t see past season one Tyler. Yeah, Tyler was a douchebag in s1. But that’s kinda what makes him so great. He had this amazing character development in s2-4. He is so loyal to his friends, even though most of them would never even stick their neck on the line for him. Tyler is so low on his friends priority level. People assume Tyler is still a douchebag. He’s still sassy, yes. He’s blunt, yes. But he’s so different from the guy he was in the first season.
