"Well, I was going to make a joke about how your birthday present is me, and we should have sex, but we kinda just did that the other day so..."

She's kidding. Nyalter sidles up behind Eri at his desk, draping her arms over his shoulders. She's holding a box in her hand, though it's unwrapped.

"I thought about getting you like a necklace or something, but you're always complaining about being mistaken for a girl, so... Well, they say watches are jewellery for men, right~?"

It's a watch. Sleek silver metal, cool to the touch, all shiny and neat. Rather than straps, it has metal links, and the hands are made out of some sort of brass or gold. There's also a small screen on the bottom, and a lot of dials.

"It's analogue, but it's also got that little screen for digital stuff. You can set an alarm, and if you press... er... some button or another, it turns into a compass, you can use it to measure air pressure, and all that sort of thing."

There's an instruction manual in the box. The store clerk showed Nyalter all the functions, but she is not able to remember how all of them work.

"Ah..."

Well, there's a surprise. A big surprise.

Eri hasn't had much sleep for the past couple of days, so seeing Nyalter is quite the treat. And that gift... He tilted his head for a moment, unwrapping the box.

It was... a watch? And it looks extremely expensive too. Just how much of her salary did she spend on this...?

"This really is quite the novelty, isn't it?... You know I'm happy to get something simple, but... this is something else, thanks."

It's more than likely he'd use it mostly as a fashion accessory, but the biggest thing he would use it for is an alarm... for work.

"Hey, I know it's my birthday, but why not we go out and get something nice today? There's this nice cafe I'd like to try out, if you're willing!"

• Dante is Aromantic, and going off of that

• Dante and Lady dated for a brief period when they were 20~ish for a month but they soon broke up, Dante realised he was Aromantic and Lady realised she was a lesbian. It was really awkward and they don't talk about it.

• (also Demisexual Vergil fight me)

• Nero's the type of guy to crush a can of cola in his hand when he's angry

• He would never actively admit it, but Vergil instantly bonded to Nero, even if Nero himself didn't bond with Vergil. It's probably to do with some weird demon biology thing, as Vergil tries to show He cares in odd ways like offering to clean Nero's weapons (making sure the demon spawn can protect itself) or staring at him from across the room (monitoring the demon spawn to assure its survival). It freaks Nero out as he doesnt know what's going on.

• Nico plays pranks on Nero and Kyrie that border on being illegal

• Trish and Vergil kind of have an unspoken bond/connection (?). Like demon to demon communication especially after the V and Trish talk

• Vergil moved into Devil May Cry without asking Dante after dmc5 and claimed a couch and a portion of the office as his. Dante won't admit that he doesn't mind.

• Also about vergil, When Patty came to Devil May Cry after the events of dmc5, she yelled at Dante for an hour for missing her birthday among other things. Vergil thought it was hilarious but he stayed quiet the whole time as usual.

• Nero roughhouses with the kids at the orphanage, and he always tries to stay gentle, but those kids man... they're out for blood. One time Nero ended up with a huge gash over his eyebrow that surprisingly left a scar.

• Lady likes Versace perfume or light floral scents. Don't know how to explain this one

• Trish likes deeper, more musky scents. For example Kyoto in Bloom by glasshouse fragrances (my signature scent lol). She also smells of this hair oil my mum uses. Very nice ^^

• Vergil likes cool, crisp scents, but not very masculine ones. More androgynous or feminine. Otherwise he smells like old books, like the old sci-fi books my dad gave me

• Nero likes cheap cologne, anything to cover up the blood smell that seems to hang around as to not scare the kids

• Kyrie likes either light, sweet scents or deep, stormy scents. She tends to lean to more deep scents.

• Dante smells like pizza grease and Lynx Africa All the time (go argue with a wall) but if he had to choose he would probably smell like roses or something with sandalwood. Heavy scents.

you don’t even know where she got these places from, but you don’t complain. she’ll tell you to be ready at 12 and take you out for lunch, a painting class, and a walk on the beach after. she’s so romantic, you can’t help but call your friends IMMEDIATELY after your date. (also yes she picks you up with flowers every time)

wether it’s in between takes, or in the bathroom during cast dinner, it doesn’t matter!! she loves updating you on the smallest things and getting distracted halfway through her 5 minute voice note. you eat it up EVERY TIMEEE, cuz her voice is just so cute and relaxing like!! how can you not fall asleep to it? (you secretly save them and listen to them before falling asleep if you haven’t seen her in a few days)

once, you made her a little keychain with a code for a playlist on it and she cried for half an hour straight. you were soooo confused like?? does she like this or is it her last straw cuz damn??? she loved it so much and shows it to everyone she meets PROUDLY “look at this keychain my girlfriend made!!”

i swear she knows EVERYTHING. whenever you’re do in your homework and don’t understand something, all you have to do is look at her and she starts spitting information like a waterfall.

she’ll put your hair behind your ear, or push your glasses back up your nose and afterwards pretend like she hasn’t even looked at you in the last 5 minutes. her face betrays her tho, cuz if you look closely you can see a faint blush going from her nose all the way to her ears. one time she casually slipped her hand into your back pocket and actually LOOKED AWAY when you looked at her (it’s cute tho so you don’t mind)

she doesn’t cook often, but if you just had a sleepover, and your parents aren’t home, she’ll slip into the kitchen quietly and start making pancakes. it never goes to plan because you always wake up when she’s halfway done. you’ll see that she’s gone, smell the pancakes, see what she’s up to, and have to refrain yourself from awing out loud at her embarrassed expression when she sees you standing at the end of the hallway. (she obvi didn’t expect you to wake up suddenly)

I bunched time after time a couple of days ago and it's amazing!!!! I can't wait for how you develop the mystery of how she went back to present time.

It's theory timeee, I'm guessing oc can only travel in time under extreme stress circumstances, a result from the ptsd and proved after she accidentally traveled 5 minutes into the future after Soldier Boy woke up, so that could mean the only way for her to return back at "future timeline" is by having a full blown out fight with Soldier Boy and explains why he's been longing for her this whole time but also got a massive hatred for her too, he clocked it after remembering that they met on her birthday so he waited for the date to arrive in current time!!!

In conclusion, he's an egoistical douche man with a shattered ego and hurting feelings bottled through the pass of time who would be willing to try and make one last attempt to meet the love of his life while fully knowing that it was doomed from the start. 🤓☝🏻

It was snowy out, you are so excited that today you get to wear your new fluffy snow boots out with ellie.

"done getting ready pretty?" ellie asks you while smiling infront of the door. "Yeah! Let's go!" You we're very enthusiastic. It was because you love winter.

Ellie grabbed your hand and you two went outside. "You look pretty today m'lady" she compliments you. "You look prettier!" You smiled playfully and hold ellie's face cupping them with both your hands. You saw her blush, 'she is so pretty...'

You and ellie arrived at the park, snow everywhere. So pretty. You looked around when suddenly ellie throws a snowball at you. "Hey!" You yelled. You grabbed the ice skates and sat on the bench about to put them on. "Are you serious?" Ellie asked. "Are you really not gonna ask me to put them on for you princess?"

Ellie grabs your skates and knees down infront of you putting the skates on for you. God shes so sweet. "Thank you" you replied after she puts them on, "your welcome sweetheart" she smiles patting your head and messing up your hair a little.

"Shall we?" Ellie lends you a hand as she got on the skating rink. You took her hand to the ice rink but almost you were wobbling and almost fell. "Easy there" she puts her hands around your waist stopping you from the fall.

"I'm scared..." you told her with your legs shaking. "It's okay my love, i won't let you go. Promise" she insured you. "You skated before els?" You lifted your head facing her since she was a bit taller than you are. "Yeah, a few times before-- here-" she lets go of you but holds one of your hands. "Okay, so- skating is simple. You just need to balance" she instructed you to follow her.

You were really scared of falling but you knew she would not let you go. You glided slowly while holding her hand. "Im getting the hang of this!" You smiled with joy. "Your doing good, just keep your balance okay?"

"Can you let me go els?" You asked. "You sure your good?" She looks down at you. "I'm sure" you insisted. "Are you sure sure?" She asked again. "I'm sure els, don't worry" she lets you go as you glide slowly on the ice with ellie watching your every move.

You suddenly felt it was too slippery and your legs began to shake-- and you fell. Ellie rushed to you and knees down. "Are you okay?" She asks in a shaky voice. "Im fin-" ellie then cuts you off "i'm so sorry, im so so sorry i didn't keep an eye on you, are you hurt? Are you fine? Its my fault i'm sorry love" she looks sad. "Ellie, it's okay. It's not your fault, im okay--see? Now let's get up"

Ellie got up with you "i'm not letting you go this time" she insisted. You chuckled "cmon els, i'm not five" you rolled your eyes. "Still not going to let you go. Ever"

The rest of the day went on beautiful. You had so much fun with ellie today, yet your now all tired cuddling ellie in the living room with the lights off.
