Ahhg another fun detail the subs left out! Alright so Hajime's manager Kijima is giving the phone to Yuichiro's manager Yukari, who is "with" him 😏 yes? But he doesn't say just "wait a sec" he says "wait a sec, なたに!" which is usually something spouses call each other. I guess the closest to it would be "darling". Again, tiny details.

BL Santa delivered me one more color-coded gift right before Christmas in the shape of the Japanese three-episode series I Became the Lead in a BL Drama!
The series is about these two boys filming a BL drama within the BL drama which is color coded!
The BL drama within the series is called I Love My Childhood Friend, and within the show the series is based on a manga. In true Japanese manga fashion, the boys colors are switched on the cover.
Akafuji Yuichiro, 23, is a rising star and very popular.
He is playing the Red Rascal Momoshiro in the BL within the BL who has a falling out with his childhood friend, only to work with him later in life, and fall in love with him.
Aoyanagi Hajime, 25, was a child actor and is unpopular.
He is playing Blue Boy Mitsutani in the BL within the BL.
So everything regarding the BL within the BL is color coded as such.
Including the lighting.
And, of course, the ties.
Because, once again, this is based on a manga, and the production people are worried in the show that fans will not be pleased with the adaptation if they don't get it right (This is a personal attack about me being a hater regarding a few GMMTV non color-coded shows and I hear the message, Japan) .
But Aoyanagi Hajime is a Blue Boy in real life as well. He lives in a blue house.
With a blue bedroom.
And everything about his career is blue as well.
So he is the perfect boy for the role.
And all the odd pictures Akafuji has saved on his phone of him are random and blue like this.
So when Akafuji thinks about him (and freaks out about living with him), he thinks about him as blue.
Oh, and the boys' managers are also color coded the opposite of them, and I think they like each other because why else would they be color coded?
Basically, I'm screaming from delight.
And I think @heretherebedork is too because of moments like this.
Probably moments like this too, but that's not part of my color journey.
Nor is this one.
