It’s so wild to me how planned out other people’s Rooks already are

first play through of any dragon age game is based on vibes alone and you live with the consequences of your mistakes, where you go in with no strategy and listen to your heart to try and break the game story in ways BioWare did not prepare for

It’s how I made it to the arch demon before I realized I’d never put shoes on my Warden in my first DA:O playthrough because my Amell had mage robes that had shoes in the design and I never equipped any other armor for her. When I paused during that final fight once my roommate walked by and said in the most horrified tone, “girl, why were you fighting the archdemon when YOUVE GOT NO SHOES ON?” And I equipped actual shoes & beat it in no time the next round

I call it the “No Shoes Playthrough” and it’s essential to capturing the real essence of the story
