Hi again(Sorry to bother you with that au again) but you said that Luffy would have picked up some of the two swords style and I was wondering...Luffy have his own katanas?

I believe that yes because of being the shogun's first born and everything(even though he hardly ever uses them because punching is so much more fun).

Continuing with my thought, if Luffy actually had two katanas, it would probably have Japanese names but in two others: Jaci and Guaraci and I'll explain why.

Going by Luffy's personality, he would choose these names simply because they rhyme or are funny. However, according to Tupi-Guarani mythology (one of the native peoples of Brazil) they are deities related to the Sun and the Moon.

Jaci (or Yaci, Iaci) is considered the goddess of the Moon and guardian of the night, one of her known skills is to awaken the longing in warriors so that they can return home. They usually prayed to her asking for protection from hunters who went out hunting or warriors who left the tribe during the night. This could be a relation to the Kozuki clan and Wano, the representation of the moon and homesickness as how it should be, the call for protection to those who fight against Kaido

Guaraci (or Quaraci, Coaraci, Coraci) is the God of the sun and one of his abilities is to give life, It is usually prayed to him asking the warriors to return and for new and good things at dawn. being a reference to Luffy himself and what he represents to Wano. A reference to the sun that is associated with Luffy and the way he always finds a way to bring new life to those who ally with him, be it saving a country, a conviction or a dream and a call to finally put an end to the country's suffering, to open the doors for new things to arrive

I believe that the two katanas existence would be revealed by Hiyori when she trades one of Zoro's swords with oden's. "I hve two other swords but they're with Orochi for 'safekeeping', he thinks that having the eldest' of my father's kids; my older brothers' katanas would prove that he had died. But I refuse to believe someone that was as strong as my father and as kind and caring as my mother could die in a fire so easily..."

Of course, Zoro wants them all now. (Unfair since he only has to give away one sword but get three.)

When would Luffy got his swords back? Like would it be at end of the war in Wano by his sister or maybe Zoro got the swords and then Luffy saw it...

A part of me wants it to be at the end of Onigashima war but another part of me wants it to be pre-Onigashima war.

OH WAIT. MAKE IT DURING THE ONIGASHIMA WAR. Luffy gets his swords and becomes all woozy and dizzy from time to time because his Swords actively remind him of who he was.

Izo had been there when Mochi was sent to the past. He didn't want the Whitebeards to mess with the timeline. After all, two years were left. Two years more, the wait will end. just two more years and he could finally maybe serve under Mochi again.

For all his brothers worth and how much he loved this crew, Izo couldn't risk it.

They were NOT going to reunite with him just yet.

I had really cracky kozuki Luffy idea based off of that last ask.

Mochi is his own person and when toki sent him forward it was only by 3 years, he goes to train and get stronger and still has his swords.

During the process he meets Dragon and one of them is trans, mistakes happen and Luffy now exist except he inherited nothing from Dragon and everything from Mochi.

Because as far as Shanks and Buggy are aware Mochi just disappeared they think Luffy is Mochi but he was a half decent dad and visited Luffy he can tell them otherwise.

Shanks freaks out because he encouraged his nephew to stab himself and Buddy just feels like an asshole.

Not to mention the reunion between Mochi and his siblings.

Hey I love your Kozuki Luffy au and have some questions

I am just curious how would Luffy act with Yamato. Would he quickly cut of this "I am Oden" thing from Yamato even with no memory like "Yeah, no you are not him" ?

Another question would past Luffy being able to fight with a sword? And just forgot it too or he actually never knows how to do it

Last one, is about Shanks. Since he was part of Roger's crew that means he had meet Luffy before? I think that would be so cute and sad if they used to be really good friends

First question: Of course Luffy would say that, and like I said before; he would avoid Oden's journal like the plague; memory or no memory

Ever since Luffy heard tales and saw adventure on Whitebeard's and Roger's ship; he didn't want to be clan heir. He wanted to be free like Whitebeard and Roger, but he couldn't get away from the sword training (he has bits and pieces of forms of the Oden two sword styleO

Hey it's me again, you probably hate me already for being my third ask about kozuki Luffy au.

It's just that I can't stop thinking about how the things Luffy experienced in the past (I think you were using the name Mochi, so I'll use that when referring to Past!Luffy) would affect his unconsciousness.

As the admirtion to Roger, because it is not only the stories that would awaken that admiration but also his unconscious, because Mochi met Roger. On the other hand that would make Ace's question a bit sad, Luffy after he remembers and sees that Ace never had the chance to know what Roger really was like, how childish, goofy and a good man (for a pirate) he was.

More about Shanks, how strange it must have been for him to meet Luffy, overjoyed to see that he was alive but saddened that he was no longer the Mochi he knew. It would also be interesting if this is why Shanks is so reckless towards Luffy, because doesn't he see him as just a kid but as his friend (because let's be honest, Shanks would recognize Luffy as Mochi right away)

Another thing that doesn't come out of my head is Buggy, he would recognize Luffy the moment he laid eyes on the boy, he probably believes that Luffy remembered being Mochi.

Another thing Shanks and Mochi are sworn brothers (they probably did before they had to split up) because I think that would suit them both and add more drama.

Bonus on the Kozuki Luffy AU. Luffy does a fuckity wuckity on Marineford and still gets his 'x' scar because of Akainu, the magma bitch still tried to kill Ace but Luffy pushes Ace out of the way and when Akainu's fist was mere inches away from Luffy, Ace manages to pull him out of the way with the help of Marco.

Izo then tells Momonosuke the events of marineford and now Hiyori and Momo won't let Luffy go

maybe Mochi is just a year younger. I have no cue on how old Shanks and Buggy were in the Oden flashback man, so yeah. A year.

Luffy’s reaction to Yamato acting like his father and imitating his appearance
