THROWBACK THURSDAY!!! This time it’s a little further back; back 28 years to 1995 when I took a trip to Munich, Germany with my pops… This pic was taken at the Hofbrau Haus during an epic pub crawl. 🇩🇪 🍻 Wish I’d known the histry of the place when I was there. It was founded in 1589 by the Duke of Bavaria and was the brewery to the old Royal Residence, which was just around the corner. But, if I remember right, we were really just interested in finding good beer that day and that info would have been lost on us! 😎 Cheers, my friends! May you all have beer memories as good as that one… If not, go make some!!! #beer #germanbeer #hofbräu #munich #munchen #reinheitsgebot #stein #europeanvacation #1995 #dad #pubcrawl #beerfest #germany #throwbackthursday #hofbräuhausamplatzl #dcab #dcabeer #dcareabeer #instabeer #beerstagram #beerisforeveryone #memories #beerselfie https://instagr.am/p/CrjNx0kpUjq/

#Repost @craftbeerblogboy Noise Cancelling by @foxfridaybrewery is an Oat Cream DIPA at 8% Sometimes you just need to pop on those head phones, close the eyes and crank some tunes to put the rest of the world on hold. Good for the soul. Likewise, cracking a beer you know will be good as you’ve tried their stuff before. Thus I present Fox a Friday ( again! ) This Oat Cream creams the preverbal. Just watch @the_barcyde latest post. Bloody funny I tells ya. Rich mango and passionfruit on the nose, tropicals on the taste like sherberty pineapple and ripe mango, smooth as butter with a hint of bitterness. So damn rich and good. Finished it and then realised it was 8%. Rest assured I’m in a hoppy place. Cheers guys, I’m off to Beerfest on Sunday at @warnersatthebayhotel hope you all have a good one!! #oatcreamipa #ipa #noise #noisecancelling #craftbeergarden #craftbeerlife #craftbeerlover #beergarden #mycraftbeergarden #craftbeerblogboy #auscraftbeer #beertography #hops #hophead #juicyas #drinkcraft #drinkcraftnotcrap #craftbeer #craftbeerpics #australiancraftbeer #cameradrinksfirst #selfie #beerselfie https://www.instagram.com/p/Cj-uAfmLF4s/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

So, I was sacked was I?
This can all be traced back to a gig at Cafe Jubilee Gzira.  I stated at the time that if we let it, this will be the undoing of the band and we should put it down to square pegs in round holes. However, no one listened.
Rehearsals started being boring and just really getting in the way of drinking beer. Songs that I wanted to cover were 'poo-pooed' as losing us half our audience [strangely as previously the same song was agreed to be worthy].  Strangely, Venus in Furs was not thought of in the same way when it was clearly of the same ilk.
We started doing Country songs and easy listening stuff with no clear direction and our original purpose for being a band was diluted beyond recognition.
I went to the UK and whilst I was away clearly something happened.  I do know that Jan and Dick rehearsed and that they all were seen [scheming] in the Office one night
I do know that when I came back to Malta and we rehearsed there was a strange atmosphere which I chose to ignore and just played and wrote a new tune [I was the only one that brought new material to the table].  Then we set about putting together a set list for the Beer Festival [I refer to this below].  Three days later the below conversation happened
Conversation started 11 June
11:00 Glenn Travers  I don’t know about you but I wasn’t impressed with last night
11:27 Jan Joachimsen  Neither was I. In fact I had a rather sleepless night in which I came up with the decision we should step out of the beer festival. Will write you and Dick a thorough message in the next 3 hours . but in a nutshell that’s what I think
14:54 Jan Joachimsen  Too risky for such a big event like the Farsons. I wrote to you and Dick on Facebook. My feeling is that it will be the same audience response as at Jubilee’s. Just a bigger crowd not liking it . and I cant do that L
15:00 Glenn Travers  Well we might as well shut the band down now then
15:23 Jan Joachimsen  We might as well do that too. With everyone leaving anyway....
13:43 Jan Joachimsen  Hi Glenn and Dick, after our "audition" yesterday evening and a following sleepless night, I have come up with a decision: it's better to not play at Farsons Beerfest. Phil's reaction showed me that we are still far away from having achieved a quality and presence that can catch a crowd, no matter what we do. We are simply not good enough.
Also with all the insecure line-up and constant changes, there is no way we can put together a convincing show for such a big event. This is not just one little pub, this is THE Farsons. My instinct tells me we would get the same response as from Phil yesterday, but just on a bigger scale. And I personally am not a fan of suicide missions. It is a pity for an audience not hearing our original songs. But we can also achieve that via Soundcloud (which worked well for "Marsalfornication", who never played a single note live). I'm sorry to sound like a spoil-sport, but I hope you can understand my doubts. Regards, Jan
16:23 Glenn Travers  Jan, nice to have such a positive picture. So, based on one person that you ASSUME didnt like what we played, youre prepared to throw away months of rehearsals - one persons opinion! and who is he? What credibility has he got that makes his opinion so believeable? I dont believe we're not good enough, I think you're clinging onto the Cafe Jubilee thing as support for this.
2 weeks ago we played to 200 people and to very positive feedback, we did this in spite of not being able to hear each other; I think that shows we are certainly 'good enough'
16:38 Jan Joachimsen No matter who he is, his face was a good indicator, and he wasn't the first one. Do you have exact numbers for positive feedback at the Dolmen? The athmosphere was awkward there, too. And I usually sense that. And from my own feeling, too, we are simply not good enough.
16:39 Glenn Travers This is pathetic
17:29 Dick Woolley Sorry guys to be late into the conversation but my departure is going to be very soon and so have been very busy as a result. I have to agree with Jan on this. Last night merely acted as a catalyst which allowed my misgivings to form a solid opinion. If I was not going away, then I would say we might find enough time to create a revamped act that could take to that large stage and carry an audience of strangers. But this is not the case.
All the gigs we have played so far have been to limited and largely friendly audiences and yet they have been just about ok at their best. After six months I would have liked it to have been at a higher level and I cannot see it transforming overnight. I probably should have spoken out before, but I guess I was carrying false hopes. I have thoroughly enjoyed it all but I do not want to spoil the end by a flat performance. And for sure it is the end as Glenn is going to UK and I am not going to be here.
17:35 Glenn Travers I'll leave it to you guys to tell the Farsons - Im out of this
18:12 Glenn Travers Well, I'm sorry that I have not been able to raise my game to the required standard. I really thought we were doing ok, how pathetic is that? Just as well it's ending now so as to not waste any more of your time. I could have gone home at the end of June, I only postponed it so that we could do the gigs, ah well never mind. I kinda enjoyed it even tho now I know it was all false
19:04 Dick Woolley Glenn, it is not about individual performances, it is about the overall performance of the band.
16 July
18:21, Glenn Travers: I have been informed that you have decided to reverse what you told me and Kevin and are playing the Farsons.  Good luck with that   As I clearly cannot believe a single word you say I wish to put this in writing -   I hold the copyright to my songs and if you or any of your co...[I dont know what non contemptuous word to use to describe] play any of them in whole or in part I will take legal action   I know its a long shot but if you have any ethics left, please do not push me into this as I will protect what is mine   You reap what you sow
From: Jan Joachimsen   Yes, it took me a week to come to the conclusion that there is no reason why I shouldn't play the Farsons. After all, you yourself said more than once that evening that this was MY decision. So I after a week, I made my final decision. The show trial you and Kevin gave me at the Office, left me in a position where I just can't go back to where we were before. It surely is very understandable that you are hurt. But the level of aggressiveness with that you lashed out at everyone (or rather, at me as substitute for everyone else) was remarkable. As for your songs, you can have it here and legally binding that nobody is going to play any of them. Neither now nor in the future. My lyrics, my violin? Keep them. Consider them as a farewell gift. I have no intention to start a legal battle over some little songs we once recorded. Yes, what's yours is yours! That was never in question for me. You own your songs/music alright. But you don't own me. It is still up to ME who I play with and when I play. There is no reason to threaten me for that. Regards, Jan
17 July
Dick Woolley: Glenn, Apologies for having remained silent since my decision not to play at the beerfest as conditions apply. I believed it best to let matters rest as you have taken this as a personal attack and there is little I could contribute of a positive nature. However the correspondence that Jan has chosen to share with me has upset me deeply. Do you remember our conversation regarding copyright? Everything we do is a collaboration I remember you stating. When I suggested that you should establish ownership of material, you said you were thinking that Jan putting it on Soundcloud was a good basic position. I made my decision not to play as part of conditions apply at the beerfest in the belief and spirit of honesty and respect to a large audience as our act was not worthy of such an occasion in my opinion. You appear to have chosen to believe that this decision as a personal attack. It was never intended as such and I never thought that you would react in such a negative way as you have. Do you truly believe that an act that has only played the likes of the qawra access centre and the office has built such a great following to justify a direct booking as the opening act for the beerfest? It was (in my opinion) Maddee that landed the gig and she picked us to back her. I too have accepted her invitation to play in her backing band for the beerfest as I have the good fortune to be available. When I agreed with Jan to pull the plug on conditions apply I thought the beerfest was gone and lost to me, but I make no apologies for accepting an offer to play with another band. I wish to conclude with thanking you for not dragging my wife into this seemingly childish response to the current circumstances that you have chosen to adopt and to wish you and Seeta all the best for your future. I will state for the avoidance of doubt that I will not deliberately infringe any of your legal rights and will expect and require that you respond in a similar fashion. Dick
Glenn Travers: Well Dick, every action has a reaction and I didnt deserve the way I was treated. I have always considered you all in everything, even choosing to tell you of my decision face to face re relocating as I thought that was the ethical thing to do. After the way you lot have treated me oh boy do i feel silly
I take exception to being called childish as I am the only one that had the guts to face it out whereas you guys - going on a non denial from Jan - chose the back door route. Well what goes around comes around. I am more hurt by the way Jan has treated me as I considered him my closest friend and I think the way he has treated me is shameful but he doesnt seem to understand - or doesnt want to - that. Friends dont do that to one another, not the way I was brought up, I wouldnt do it to him. Even other people that have seen his response thought it laughable that he should try to become the victim. Let me say this just once, if you had a problem why didnt you share it? Why did we spend the last rehearsal putting together a set list if we were that bad? Where's your honesty guys?
I didnt involve Helen specifically as she has nothing to do with this and has always treated me with respect...maybe she should give lessons?   The nastiness continues to this day with daily new posts of photos of the gig [strangely not much in the way of an audience can be seen in any pix] and written posts clearly aimed at me from others.
I heard today [7 August] that they are saying that they sacked me which is the reason Ive put this together. But that's the way with cowards, isnt it?

Note
oh, good. you're awake.
Tumblr media
Awake was generous. Her eyes were open, sure, and she's grimacing at the light coming through the crack in the curtains, but she's not certain she's awake. Normally she was the first one up, but they'd spent the night out partying with the others. Graduation season was proving to be quite the gauntlet of beerfests and it seemed like surviving the end of the world made everyone a little more keen on sharing their invitations.
Jessica groaned softly, burying back into her pillows, head shaking, "Uh-uh." Not awake. Not yet. Suspicion grew in the back of her mind, though. Why was Eddie up so early? Well, at least why was he up before her? She couldn't even begin to guess at what time it was. "Baby did you sleep at all?" She mumbled from her blanket cocoon. // @edhellfire

Filling Empty Spaces (Amy/Mitch), part 142
Mitch and Amy find an unexpected connection due to absent lovers. Set around season 11.
A/N: I didn’t have a beta for this story, so hopefully there won’t be too many grammar errors.
* * * *
As Amy walked inside the log cabin with Mitch, she measured the place with her eyes. From outside, the house had not looked this big, but as she walked in and looked around, everything looked about the size of the Heartland house, maybe a little bit smaller.
After mudroom, they stepped directly into the kitchen and at the back of it, there was access to the living room that had nice big windows toward the deck at the back. The view from the deck was stunning, and Amy could see the mountains far in the distance. She could almost picture the sunsets Mitch was admiring every night.
On their left was bedroom and on the right, a small bathroom. The layout made sense in Amy’s head as it was very familiar to Heartland’s ranch house, the biggest difference was the deck that was on the place of the hearth and the way the mudroom was at the front of the house instead of being a little on the side.
“Looks nice”, Amy commented when Mitch took off his hat and quickly tried to straighten the place up.
“Sorry for the mess”, Mitch apologized, “I wasn’t expecting company. At least there’s no sawdust in here...”
“It’s okay”, Amy assured as Mitch went to get the kettle and filled it with water. Waiting gave her an opportunity to look around the kitchen.
On the side table, there were a lot of empty beer bottles with no labels and it made Amy raise her eyebrows. She wondered if Mitch passed time drinking beer alone, but if he had went through all of these, she couldn’t tell it by looking at him.
“What’s this...?” she decided to ask and pointed toward the bottles.
Mitch glanced over his shoulder.
“Oh. That’s my side business. Or, well, hopefully”.
“You’re doing this with my dad...?” Amy asked, hesitantly.
“No, no. Of course not”, Mitch said, shaking his head. He knew about Tim’s history with alcohol and the problems it had brought to the Bartlett-Fleming family. Having him as a partner would have been bad taste, and besides, having one business with Tim Fleming was enough for Mitch. “It’s not a Garland thing. It’s a ‘me’ thing. Or me and Bryce, actually. It’s still in the early stages. We are hoping to get the word around at the annual Hudson Beerfest in October. Right now I’m trying on different labels”, he explained.
Amy nodded. “Oh, I see.”
When he had put the kettle on, he walked over to show her. “Here. Bryce knows this artist who did few samples. These are not final, but just some ideas she did based on what we had in mind.”
He pressed one of the labels against the bottle to visualize how it could end up looking. “She’s very talented. I mean, I’d like to think our beer is good, but let’s be real, oftentimes it’s the label that gets people’s attention.”
“Yeah, she’s really goof”, Amy agreed, looking at the bottle. “You’ve really been busy”, she noted based on everything she had just learned within the last 30 minutes.
“I guess I am”, Mitch admitted, putting the bottle away. “But I like to keep myself busy. And besides, this is all fun stuff, so... it doesn’t even feel like much of a work.”
Amy nodded, continuing to look around.
“I kind of know what you mean. I don’t mind idle time, but I like to keep myself busy too. -- You can imagine what it was like in France with no horses around - or anything else that I’m used to doing, for that matter”, she shared, smiling and glancing toward Mitch every now and then to check if he was still listening.
“You were climbing up the walls...?” Mitch took a stab.
“I probably would have, had Lyndy not been there. Or these old friends of mine”, Amy said. “There were only couple of days where I just laid on the pool and read a book, besides that I kept myself busy by visiting the sights and events. -- It’s weird, I had not read a book in a while - well, a book for adults, that is. Can’t believe I used to have a lot of time to do that kind of stuff.”
Mitch looked at Amy as she had a nostalgic look on her face.
“But...” she shook her head, as if to get back to the present, “now with Jade helping me with Lyndy, I think I might be able to recreate myself a new routine. I mean, before my trip, I tried to force myself back to the old one, but... I guess I’ve come to realize the root of my problem is trying to gain back something that no longer exist. That includes me. I don’t need to find myself, I need to reinvent myself. And that’s what I’m doing now.”
“So, that’s what this clinic is all about then?” Mitch circled back to it. “You becoming like a phoenix and rising from the ashes.”
Amy smirked. “Something like that”, she shrugged, feeling it was a fancy way of putting it.
She tried to keep herself humble even though she was determined to move on. This time she wasn’t just an outline for dreams and ideas, she wanted to actively try to become someone who was living out those dreams and who she claimed to be. No more waiting for a better time; there was no better time than now. She was done waiting for that “one day” she had always thought would come with Ty.
Mitch looked at Amy with much more pride than what she probably had in her about the things she had been able to accomplish and things that she was still, no doubt, about to accomplish.
The whistle of the kettle took him out of it and he went to move it away from the stove, while Amy continued going through the house and its little details.
One of the shelves, she noticed a picture of Mitch with some other guy and some woman between them. Amy studied the photograph, trying to figure out who these people were, but as her eyes fixated on military dog tags next to the frame with the name “Z Cutty”, she didn’t have to think much longer.
Something about this moment felt almost forbidden somehow. Like she was suddenly looking into something very sacred to Mitch even though the picture was on display. Had he meant for others to see it if he had planned to somewhat isolate himself?
“Do you want black tea, green tea, white tea...?” Mitch listed.
When he didn’t get an answer from Amy right away, and she stumbled on her words - “Green is fine” - Mitch glanced over his shoulder, noticing Amy looking at the picture of him, Zach and Melanie.
Just like Amy, he felt a jolt of some kind inside him, like she was suddenly looking into his soul, even though of course Amy knew about Zach and even Melanie. But she had never seen them before, and somehow that made it all more real to them both.
“Is this your...” Amy began to ask and looked over her shoulder, noticing Mitch was already looking at her. His features were more soften than before, but there was also something resembling of a sorrow behind his eyes.
She figured she had already gotten her answer, but then Mitch nodded, confirming it.
“Yeah. That’s Zach. My cousin”, he said, even if it was probably obvious by now. “And his wife. Or... you know”, his words drifted off as he, again, wondered what to call Melanie to determine her relationship to him and Zach. In his mind she was still married to Zach even though at the same time he also recognized her marriage to Danny.
While he continued preparing their teas, Amy looked at the version of Mitch in the picture. He looked somewhat younger, paler and leaner as he was not as toned by the ranch work as he was now and had probably worked only in engineering when the picture had been taken.
“I know you miss him, but... do you ever miss that time? I mean, military”, Amy said, wondering if it was important for Mitch to keep those memories alive or was this more about his cousin.
Mitch added the water to the mugs, wondering what to say as the issue was complex.
“Not really”, he finally answered. “I mean, I shouldn’t have gone in the first place; I don’t know what I was thinking.”
“Because of what happened with Zach...?” Amy guessed, turning around to look at Mitch now in return. “It wasn’t your fault”, she reminded.
“That... and other things”, Mitch summed up, not really wanting to get into it too much. “The moral problems I have with the whole thing now that I understand how we are made to think certain things in order for someone to gain something they want. We all want to be heroes, as embarrassing as that was for me to admit, and they feed into that need, but the truth is... I was no more than a vessel. I guess I’m still processing it. I’m not against talking about it now that I can admit that I wasn’t the person I thought I was, but I guess I still don’t even understand all of it. Maybe eventually. I mean, the group helps.”
He then walked over and handed Amy her mug.
“Here.”
“Thanks”, Amy said as the aroma of the tea rose from the steaming liquid. While she sheltered the cup between her hands and blew on it to make it cooler, Mitch looked at the picture too and sighed a little. “I’m sorry for bringing that up, I just... I haven’t seen his face before and I guess I just... it’s kind of nice to get a face for a name”, she admitted. She had, of course, imagined someone else in her head, but it wasn’t hard to replace that version with the real likeness of Mitch’s cousin now as it had not been too far off. “I mean, you talk so much about him--”
Mitch hummed. “Too much?” he guessed in the middle of Amy’s sentence. “I know. Sorry about that.”
“No. No”, Amy shook her head. “I like it. It’s kind of like...”
She was trying to make the words come out, but there was suddenly a lump in her throat.
“It’s kind of like how I want to do with my mom. I wasn’t ready to let her go yet, there were still so many memories I wanted to make with her, but... we were robbed that after what happened to her.”
Mitch looked at her, and there was a strange yet beautiful intimacy in this connection and conversation they shared over lost loved ones.
“Sometimes I feel bad for bringing her up, because... I don’t know, it feels like the world just keeps on going and everyone’s ready to move on. I get that we can’t just wallow in the sadness for forever, but that’s not what I want either. I mean, it’s not her death and the pain of losing her that I want to talk about, but more like...”
“You want to keep her alive?” Mitch guessed.
“Yes, exactly”, Amy said, locking eyes with him. “I’ve found the more I think about her, the less I think about the way I lost her and more about the things from before that. Mostly little things that I had thought I had forgotten already. Like the smell of mints”, she continued, smiling softly. “She used to always have these mint treats for horses in her pocket, so now whenever I smell mint, I think of her.”
Mitch smiled, getting drawn into Amy’s story.
“But unless people don’t deal with the bad memories first, they never remember the good ones either. Not with the warmth they deserve, anyway. There will always be this layer of sadness attached to the memories due to the loss, of course, but it’s up to us how thick it will be. If we keep them alive by talking about them, the layer will become more clairvoyant. Or something”, Amy summed up.
“You don’t have to say that, you know”, Mitch commented.
Amy looked at him, wondering what she had just said. “Say what...?”
“Add that “or something” - or something along those lines - at the end of your sentence”, Mitch explained. “It’s like you’re making your words mean less than what they do - but you don’t have to. They are fine as they are. You explain yourself just fine. And besides, I asked, so... I want to hear what you have to say. That’s why I asked.”
“Oh...” Amy was stunned for a moment. “I wasn’t even aware I was doing that...”
She gave it a thought and realized maybe she did have a way of making herself appear almost less threatening and softer while explaining herself.
“I didn’t mean to make you feel uncomfortable about that, I just wanted to let you know what you say is being heard. Loud and clear”, Mitch explained when Amy became more silent.
Amy nodded. Thankfully she didn’t seem hurt, more like thoughtful.
“I guess it’s because... for the last couple of years I felt like I needed to censor myself. Or make myself less to avoid situations where I could be seen as confrontational”, Amy started to crack it open. “If I’d just spoke less or would have less opinions and feelings, maybe I would avoid problems or drama. I would be more of a pleasure to have around, you know. I mean, I know I especially did that with Ty... He never wanted to talk about things, so I learned that that was what he expected from me too in order to stay happy. And I--”
Amy hummed again as she realized something.
“Funny you should say that thing about everyone wanting to be heroes”, she said. “It’s not so much about that for me, but more like... I want to help everyone. I wanted to help him. There was so much hurt in his past, that I never wanted to be his hurt in the present. Because that was the worst thing I could think of.”
Mitch listened in silence, stunned by the dynamic of the relationship. Amy then continued:
“But I quickly learned that meant sacrifices on my part. It required my silence occasionally, and sometimes I did things I didn’t want to do or I knew weren’t right. I was scared he would leave me if I was more open about how I really felt or what I was going through. I felt like I owed my sacrifices - or compromises, as I saw them at the time - to him, somehow, because he was giving me something no one else ever had. He was going to be my future which was something I latched onto after losing my mom and thinking there was no future for me. When my mom died, I saw no way out of that darkness for the longest time. But he assured me there was something better still out there. That if we’d just stick together, we would find it. Together.”
Amy hummed.
“Looking back now, maybe I should have just said what I always wanted to say. I mean, he left me anyway, so... wouldn’t have probably made any difference, but at least I would have had a voice.”
That was a sad thing to think about, but at the same time, it was just the reality.
“Well, I’m sure you did what you felt was right at that time”, Mitch figured, mirroring Amy’s situation with his own with the military. “But now that you’re reinventing yourself, maybe you could just be honest about who you are and what you want? Because... why not? Why would you deserve anything less? None of us do. We only have this one life.”
Amy looked at Mitch, then nodding.
“You’re right”, she agreed. “I mean, going back to my mother, what would I even remember if she had been quiet and obedient, always? Would she had been even more of a ghost during her life than in her afterlife if she had lived with no voice?”
“Exactly”, Mitch said, already smiling a little bit. “So let’s live while we’re still around. Let’s give others something to remember us by.”
Amy’s tenseness disappeared as Mitch clinked his cup with hers. She smiled. “Okay. Deal.”

One of the things I’ve heard is helpful to do after a breakup is revisit the locations and activities you did together with someone new or by yourself, to make a new memory.  This last week I made a HelloFresh meal with a friend instead of you, I ate Ramen with a friend, I did a virtual beerfest with another guy, I stayed up with a guy watching movies on the couch, slept over with a boy and cuddled, and was intimate with a boy.  At the same time, I saw you were at your friends’ playing board games just like we used to do with them... the whole weekend broke my heart honestly.  I wanted to be on that couch playing board games with you. The minute I left the boy’s place I just felt so empty and sad and realized if I could sleep with someone at this point it’s 100% likely you have as well.  That kills me. Literally kills me inside. I didn’t even really want to sleep with this guy, I held off throughout the night, but I just missed the closeness so much that I gave in in the morning.  He didn’t suggest when we should hangout next as I went to leave, he didn’t give me a kiss bye like you would have, he hasn’t even reached out to me the rest of the day :’(  I hate myself. I’m never going to be good enough for anyone.  I talked with this guy for hours about deep things, we realized we love a lot of the exact same movies, and we talked about wanting something serious with someone, plus I brought like $50 worth of beer over for the virtual beerfest. The deep things we talked about I could never get you to talk about with me, because you just never faced dark times in your life or at least you decided not to share them with me. Anyways, I still clearly wasn’t worth even sending a meme to later today by this guy and I feel like a complete fool and I’m gonna go back to being depressed AF again because once again I’ll be going to sleep with no crush to day dream about and get my mind off of you.
I hate myself. I wish i wasn’t here. I’m never going to be good enough for anyone i like. I ruined the best thing in my entire life and it’s never coming back no matter what I do. Even when I was enjoying myself this weekend I just wanted to be next to you even if we weren’t doing anything.  You stopped looking at my stories again so i’m sure you’re really over me and don’t care about me. I miss you so much, I hate myself. I don’t want to be here anymore. Nothing is worth this pain. I hope I go to sleep and never wake up honestly :’( i feel so alone and so sad. please save me ryan, please call me... i dont know if i can keep going.. i miss my best friend so much and it kills me to see your memories going on without me.. im so broken and incomplete without you...i’ve truly never known sadness like this... it’s literally the worst pain in the world :’(

After years of dating, you have finally decided to propose to that special lady. Time to settle down and live a long happy life with the woman you love, but first comes the notorious Las Vegas bachelor party to be enjoyed along with your best boys. Ah yes, the time-honored tradition of going out for that one last night of debauchery with the boys before committing to a life of loving only one woman. Now you just have to decide where to spend your time and hard-earned money. Sure, you could go to the local bar or Strip Club and drink at the same booth while staring at the same girls you've watched on countless weekends but why settle for the mundane when you could be celebrating in Las Vegas!? Bachelor party capital of the world! Home to numerous gentleman's clubs, nightlife venues, and exciting activities to keep you busy during the daylight hours. Most men make the mistake of coming to Vegas and only sampling what the city has to offer when the sun goes down. Little do they know Las Vegas provides a myriad of things to do during the day from shooting zombie targets with automatic weapons at the indoor gun range to flying through the desert on your own personal ATV. Most Parties tend to focus their energies on the Nightlife Las Vegas has to offer. Why Not? The town is saturated with nightclubs over 60 of them in all major hotels and more strip clubs than you can count. So what makes for the best Las Vegas Bachelor Party Ideas? Below is a brief list of top services and ideas you should look to hire in Las Vegas.
Tumblr media
TOP Las Vegas BACHELOR PARTY Ideas By Alicia Godsey Omaha
1. Nightclubs - best venues for bachelor parties include XS, Marquee, Tryst & 1oak.
2. Strip Clubs - Sapphires and Treasures round out the top 2 with spearmint rhino the preferred venue for small parties
3. Restaurants - Piero's and Del Frisco's best off-strip restaurants Italian and American steakhouse, respectively.
4. Adventures - Dune buggy and Gun Range always great for beating a hangover
5. Transportation - Stretch Vehicles including Big BLUE or Brinks Bank Truck!
6. Pool Party - Great during the Spring and Summer months best pool include Encore Beach Club, Wet Republic, and Rehab.
Las Vegas is also home to a long list of exciting and unique places to eat like the German/Beerfest themed Hofbrauhaus or Dick's Last Resort for the younger, more daring crowd. When planning for your Las Vegas bachelor party it's best to not just go out for one evening, but to make a whole weekend out of this! You only get married once (hopefully) so be sure that your bachelor party is one to be remembered for years to come. A weekend to look back on when you are older so you can think to yourself ""Man, that was one wild party.""
A bachelor package is the best way to enjoy a full weekend of activities at the best prices. The most popular Las Vegas bachelor packages include providing you with VIP Services at a Nightclub for 2 nights in addition to receiving unlimited Strip Club access with transportation plus dinner! Not a bad idea for a weekend. Here are a few popular Bachelor package ideas in Las Vegas:
The Clubber: Includes a party bus, all you can drink on the bus and VIP Hosted Entry into any 3 Las Vegas Nightclubs (e.g. Tryst, Tao, Pure, XS, Marquee, Surrender). Hint: Drink as much as possible on the bus to save money on purchasing drinks inside!
The Teaser: Free Transportation to as many Las Vegas Strip Clubs you can handle (Treasures, Sapphires & Olympic Gardens. Hint: Limos like to provide a free service to you as they sometimes make commissions on what you spend inside!
Dine & Dash: Stuff your gullet full of All You Can Drink and Eat food and Beer (Hofbrahous, Gordon Biersch) then get chauffeured around Las Vegas in a stretched Party Bus!
When booking a bachelor package in Las Vegas you certainly shouldn't come expecting to wake up and find a tiger sleeping in the bathroom of your hotel suite but I can assure you that throwing your bachelor party in Las Vegas will guarantee that you and your guests will have an experience unlike any other. Below are a few tips on how to coordinate a party for a large group. It's always best to speak with a Party Planner or VIP Service as they can give you great ideas to start out with and possibly work with you to help structure the weekend's events!
1. Email - Communication is important and email is the best way to asynchronously keep all the guys in the know.
2. Intro -Introduce yourself as the party planner, why you have been selected and how you will be informing everyone of updates for the coming months.
3. Budget - Attendees spending limits should be the first thing you ask for you cannot plan a Party without knowing how much each guy is willing to spend,
4. Date - Get feedback on which dates most guys are available to attend.
5. Hotel - A hotel is a key ingredient to a good time in Vegas. Spend a little more to be closer to the action. This will save you money on transportation costs and you may even get free comps to the nightlife inside the hotel.
6. Agenda - Do NOT attempt to plan the entire weekend. The ladies will be getting wild and may not show to every event. Keep a designated Day/Night as a Mandatory guys meeting and other times can be left to leisure.
7. Payment - Collect ALL payment upfront do not leave this to chance as you will eventually be left holding the bill. Have everybody Paypal you at least half of the contribution in advance so you can guarantee services or possibly hire a Las Vegas Bachelor party planner to assist with things.
8. Logistics - Make sure every guy has a clear understanding of meeting times, places and obligations. You do not want excuses for guys missing special events.
9. Have Fun!
Now that you are equipped to plan and execute a flawless bachelor party in Las Vegas, starting as early as possible is the key to success. Use this posting as a guide to assist you in coordinating the big event with the boys. If you should start to fall behind always look for some assistance with a local Las Vegas party planner or VIP service as they have special advisors and staff who are available at all hours to assist.

I am a director at a family-owned daycare. My parents have owned the daycare for 25 years. I plan to it over one day. You can put that I used to live in Las Vegas where I ran a company by the name of Alys babes promotions LLC and BAchelor party babes LLC witch later got changed to Prima Allure LLC. It was an event planning business for large groups of people staying in Vegas. We would accommodate there to stay and plan their events. Now that I’m back home living in Nebraska I work for my parents and help manage their businesses. Not just daycare I’m also an office manager and in charge of keeping paperwork up today
Advertising and marketing for the Midwest area and planing summer parties for Vegas Bachelor events. Also, I deal with Setting up events and promotion work I deal with ordering and recruiting models or entertainers looking to promote or perform at one of our Gigs. "

I read today that Oktoberfest in Germany has been cancelled as a precaution due to what is happening right now in the world. I’m sure there will be a lot of glum faces as a result but of course the precaution is for the good of the people. My sister and I visited back in 2015 after a whirlwind trek through Europe. We concluded our journey with one of the biggest celebrations in the world. Parades, beer halls, German eats, and cultural costumes aplenty and it was certainly an amazing time. I’m sure it’ll be back bigger and better than ever next year! #oktoberfest #oktoberfestmunich #munich #munich🇩🇪 #münchen #munchen #münchenliebe #travelstories #travelstoriesworld #bloggerlife #german #beerfest #culturalheritage #discoverunder1k #microblogging #wondertwinsactivate #blackbloggersclub #exploretheglobe #visualcollective #visualcreative #travelculture #blacktravel #beerhall #festivalseason (at Munich, Germany) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_V2tMgDJPQ/?igshid=1miv7b0029yyl

#Repost @flex_me_a_beer ・・・ Yet again it’s another snowy, cold day here in Wisconsin. Winter always seems to last forever whilst the summer tends to fly by. So while wishing for warmer weather I said screw it and popped open this Fruit Smoothie collab between @untitledartbrewing & @ology_brewing_co If you love sours then this is a banger and a half! It’s brewed with passion fruit, blood orange and raspberries. You get big time whiffs of passion fruit while the blood orange and raspberry really takes over in the flavor. And at only 4.5% ABV you could actually replace your morning breakfast smoothie with this good looking brew! Well maybe I wouldn’t actually recommend that, but it will definitely make you think of warmer times! If you happen to see this one out and about I highly suggest you snag it! Cheers! 🍻 - - - #beer #beergram #instabeer #beerporn #beerlover #beerme #beerselfie #beerfest #beerbelly #beers #beerlovers #beerstagram #beerme #beerflex #flexmeabeer #beertime #beeroclock #craftbeer #drinklocal #wibeer #untitledart #untitledartbrewing #ology #ologybrewing #sour #sourbeer #fruitsmoothie #wiskullsin https://www.instagram.com/p/B8uUcS_H3u_/?igshid=1hlgjcawsex96

ECO
From the “gimme an actor and I’ll say my top 3 favorite films” ask:
Now, how to answer it - as favorite as in BEST movies? Or as my favorite of HIS roles in less than favorite movies? there’s a lot of different ways to choose 3 faves. I think I’m going to go with movies I enjoy watching with him in it.
1. I think I’ll put Fired Up at the top - as it is a perfect mix of good, LEAD role, funny (but not super stupid - e.g. NATM or THC - funny) movie, and just an all around good time.
2. This one I’m going to stretch the definition to the TV movie Write and Wrong. It was a Lifetime movie and he’s got a pretty big role. The story is really predictable, but it’s done well, and they really should bring it back around cuz it’s still SO relevant!
3. I think for #3 I’m going to say Six Wives of Henry Lefay. Sweet movie - funny, emotional. His character is a TOTAL sweetheart (and cute to boot!)
Honorable Mentions-
Local Boys/Death Valley - 1 word - WHUMP! Emotional in LB, physical in DV. Both are definitely worth a watch or two, but I tend to only revisit for inspirational value! 😂😂
Beerfest - He is fun in it, but the movie is another of those stupid-funny movies that’s harder for me to enjoy.
The Last Kiss - this one is purely for shallow reasons! (If you’ve seen it, you know what I mean, if you haven’t and want to know, ask!) 😇😇 I really wanted to like this movie. Considering how much I like most of the actors in this film, it surprises me how much it just drags and I can’t get into it. 🙁
License to Wed/Back-Up Plan - both solid RomComs - I do enjoy them both - ECO’s roles are just too small! 😂

One banana, two banana, three banana, GORE! The cult-favorite animal rock-band from Hanna-Barbera’s 1968 The Banana Splits Adventure Hour variety program is back with a blood-spattered vengeance! Warner Bros. Home Entertainment brings you The Banana Splits Movie, an original feature-length film on Digital on August 13, and on Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD on August 27, 2019. The Banana Splits Movie will offer a new take on the classic characters. The film follows a boy named Harley and his family as they go to a taping of The Banana Splits TV show, which is supposed to be a fun-filled birthday for young Harley. But things take an unexpected turn — and the body count quickly rises. Can Harley, his mom and their new pals safely escape? “Get nostalgic and horrified all at the same time while watching the trippy 60’s characters in this all-new tale about fear, power, and an oversized puppet rock-band,” said Mary Ellen Thomas, WBHE, Vice President, TV Marketing, Family & Animation. The Banana Splits Movie is a throwback to a fanatical children’s series with a horror-genre twist — and we can’t wait for the band to get back together for a new generation of fans!” The Banana Splits Movie stars Dani Kind (Wyonna Earp) as Beth, Finlay Wojtak-Hissong (The Kindness of Strangers) as Harley, Romeo Carere as Austin, Steve Lund (Street Legal, Schitt’s Creek) as Mitch, and Sara Canning (The Vampire Diaries, A Series of Unfortunate Events, War for the Planet of the Apes) as Rebecca. The beloved Bingo, Fleegle, Snorky and Drooper are voiced by Eric Bauza (Looney Tunes Cartoons, Woody Woodpecker, UniKitty!). The film is written by Jed Elinoff & Scott Thomas (Raven’s Home, My Super Psycho Sweet 16) and directed by Danishka Esterhazy (Level 16) with music by Patrick Stumph (Fall Out Boy, Gnome Alone). The movie is produced by Blue Ribbon Content in association with Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and SYFY. The Banana Splits Movie will make its broadcast debut on SYFY later this year.
