What about AI artists who sell their art?
Kind of a grey area to be honest. I feel like if they disclose they used AI to generate the art it's at the buyer's discretion. I don't think it's actually very profitable to do given that 1. the AI image can't be copyrighted, there's nothing to stop people from using it as they please anyway so you can't protect your inventory, 2. You have no ability to control the quality or consistency of your product. I don't see AI generated art sell for much, maybe 5 USD for an adoptable OC or something on Deviant art and if you're spending hours putting in prompts and weeding through results that's a lot of time for very little money. There's also not a huge demand for AI art and a growing stigma against it. My take is that it's not really worth it/profitable. All that aside, I am of the firm belief that there is no such thing as an AI artist. Not because you can't define what AI creates as art but because the "artist" in this case is the generator, you are pitching it ideas or making requests and it's doing its best to follow your instructions. I'm currently working as an illustrator on a project for someone and they send me references, descriptions and samples to work off of so that I can create the artwork they want for their book. This is the same process that I go through on any project I work on where I draw what my client wants. No matter how detailed or thorough the client is in their descriptions there is no circumstance under which they are considered the artist because the actual labor of creating art falls to the illustrator. Again, I have to stress, the author is not an artist, they've employed an artist (me) to create art for them because they cannot make it themselves. No matter how detailed their instructions are at the end of the day it is up to me to interpret and produce the actual art. In the case of AI Art the generator is the artist, not the person using it. People argue that AI is just a tool but a tool is made to assist not to completely automate the process. When you hire an artist to draw something for you that artist is not a tool, they are an employee. AI also isn't completely free, I think to get the most out of some programs you do have to subscribe, which means you're still paying for AI to make art for you, it's just significantly less than commissioning an artist.

Wolf Bete watched completely stunned as Jaune took off his VR Goggles, pulled a pillow out of the bottom drawer of his desk and fell asleep... in the span of less than a minute.
Wolf Bete: This is bullshit.
Pulling the lab coat tighter about his/her body, Wolf Bete idly started to look about the lab. Multiple monitors and screens showed stats, and had lines of code rolling past. Some even appeared to be possibly showing vitals. Which surprised Wolf a little bit. He/she was under the assumption that only they had been in the body building stage... but apparently that was not the case.
Standing up and making a considerable effort to insure the lab coat stayed closed, Wolf Bete started to walk about. Bare feet made slapping noises as they moved along the cold tiled floor. Carrying Wolf Bete along the wall of monitors and view screens, until he./she came to stop next to the only other desk in the fairly expansive room. Sitting upon it were several tablets, almost as if they had been tossed there out of annoyance. Picking one up, Wolf Bete started to read.
Wolf Bete: Hydra...hmm... regenerating grimm... hmm... eight heads... hmm... venom breath... that's so cool!
Wolf Bete lowered the tablet and gave the sleeping form of Jaune a glare.
Jaune: I can feel you starting at me. Stop it.
Wolf Bete: How could you?
Jaune: How could I what?
Wolf Bete: I'm not even done with quality control, and you're already making another... plus, this one has so many awesome powers! Regeneration, multiple heads... venom breath! Where's my special powers?

Wolf Bete: When were you going to tell me about the armour thing? Like I’ve been standing around basically naked and this whole time I could have been wearing something aside from your stinky lab coat?

The sound of groaning and creaking metal caused both Jaune and Wolf to turn towards the locked steel door of the lab. A black glow surrounded the door, and the pair watched in amazement as the door buckled outward and then folded itself in half, before falling to the floor useless.
Jaune/Wolf Bete: Holy shi…

The pair watched as an armoured female figure stepped over the ruined remains of the door. Her bodysuit was a bright crimson red that matched her flowing hair. The metal plates of her armour, a golden bronze. Her facial features were hidden behind some sort of mask that covered her face, yet left her hair unhindered.

Streaming subtitles ranked best to worst in my experience and opinion
Netflix (often pretty decent and occasionally very good closed captions, occasionally cc for multiple languages, occasionally customisable, additionally offers audio description sometimes)
Amazon (sometimes bad and sometimes pretty decent, often lacking subtitles though)
Disney+ (frequent typos)
Paramount+ (the worst layout I have ever seen with weird left alignment and up to 5 lines)
All of them should pay their subtitlers more, use properly trained subtitlers, don't rely on automated captioning (I heard about the good omens subtitles scandal) and invest more in quality control
