Currently rereading this french scifi book that's all about a bunch of medievalish people building this absurdly high cathedral (and by 'high' i mean that none of the living human in this book ever got out of what they call the cathedral and touched the actual ground)in an attempt to reach God but then the big plot twist is that the ruling class are actually a bunch of almost immortal alien beings who accidentally crashed on Earth during the actual Middle Ages, need to be at a certain height to launch their rocket and go back to their planet and therefore used the people's faith and whatever ingineering they had at this point to reach their goals, not caring that it would take centuries and centuries because it's litterally just a few hours for them and honestly this could be such a cool movie, somebody please adapt this thing right now
“I may teeter the line between pretty stupid and pretty beautiful, but the important thing being is that I am always pretty!” a very tipsy but not exactly yet drunk, Steve McGarrett stumbling home wanting a smooch from his husband, having just been delivered by the other now out and proud navy buddied who’s op that night was getting Steve home because it’s the only way to shut him the fuck up about his Danno who he obviously missed so damn much, but it’s very much not Steve’s fault that this reunion fell around the same time Danny was getting back from Jersey after visiting for his sister’s birthday.
Danny’s listening to him ramble about how one of his friends called Steve pretty annoying but Steve corrected him.
The imagery could be added with Steve tripping and stumbling to the ground before ninja-ing(tipsy) onto the couch desting his head on Danny’s lap. Trying to get comfy and hug Danny while in this position. Telling him about his night, momentarily forgetting his goal before he’s reminded again and trying his best to get a kiss.
I almost always write songs in notebooks, because I’m rarely near a computer when inspiration hits and humming into my phone only gets me so far, you know?
Anyway, it can be tricky hearing how the full arrangement fits together so I sometimes have a stage where I demo little segments out to myself using my phone and GarageBand.
Here’s one I did today - a little instrumental section that’s gonna make its way onto one of the new songs, hopefully with a sick solo layered on top. Enjoy!*
yesterday in the shower i had my music playing from my phone, amplified by putting it in a cup, and what i noticed is that the youtube rips of songs from like 2002 played just fine, perfectly sing-along-able, sounded just like in the car.
then a song that came out this year which i bought from bandcamp started playing, and i could not for the life of me figure out what the hell those noises were until i stepped out of the shower and vaguely heard some lyrics garbling into the cup, and i ended up wondering how a song that slaps so hard through headphones could become incomprehensible when played aloud like that
FIRST OF ALL. why are "best album of all time" and "true masterpiece" two different categories????????????? what is the distinction
SECONDLY youre wrong infamous is not their best album its DISGUISE which is a MASTERPIECE ???? obviously
THIRDLY relegating graveyard shift to "the one that got popular" is a crime and you will go to hell for this its better than infamous"the one that got pipular" its among the BEST
