Good News for me, it seems like my application to the new apartment is being accepted :]

The leasing coordinator messaged me to say she's sending the lease to me to sign tomorrow, & so long as I submit the payment by the start of the term (April 30th), then the apartment will be Mine.......!!!!!

honestly the more i think abt it i dont think i ever wanna learn to drive. i acknowledge itd at least be useful to be Able to, but literally not having the ability to drive seems more of an acceptable excuse to society than knowing how but just not wanting to. ppl will say "oh its not that bad once you get used to it" but at least if i cant drive at all no one can go "oh well you know how to drive just do it 🙄 you already learned you might as well" i quite frankly do Not trust other ppl on the road Nor do i trust myself to make snap judgements to get out of dangerous situations.

i dont want the responsibility of it all. if i mess up, i die and/or kill someone else, a passenger, another driver, a pedestrian. if someone else messes up, same thing. i dont Care if its the anxiety talking, i think most ppl arent scared Enough of driving!! all you need to be on the road is proof you can more or less operate the vehicle, they dont check to make sure you arent gonna operate said vehicle in a way that endangers others after you pass that initial test. generally you have to have already caused damage or hurt someone before anyone even Considers "hmm maybe you shouldnt be on the road anymore" instead of preventative measures to make sure ppl who drive dangerously Dont cause damage or harm

too much of society is car-focused to the point even biking isnt a good enough solution (to me) bc you still have to share space with cars except not being in a car yourself puts you at more risk if theres an accident (i think). & some drivers are real weird abt cyclists im pretty sure??

in conclusion: less cars pretty please
