Recently watched John Wick 4.

Fine film. Gorgeous, great characters and side story, a little bit long. Absolutely rediculius. As a Francophile who always talks about the summer I spent in Paris, the dedication to the setting was amazing.

The one thing that absolutely stretched my suspension of disbelief was this guy as a Frenchman.

(I still love every minute of his performance, he just does not pass as French at all.)

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO CASPER COOLIDGE?

Four months ago, Horror final girl Casper Coolidge published a series of tweets criticizing the summer blockbuster remake of Alex Proyas and Brandon Lee’s 1994 film ‘The Crow’. Following an internet backlash that we won’t deign to publish, Coolidge, who’s real name is YN YLN, posted a series of behind the scenes pictures from her recent films with the caption ‘the void is calling, I must go’. The actress has not been heard from since.

Famous for her roles in ‘Freaky’ and ‘Lisa Frankenstein’, the actress got her start as a teenager in the small-screen adaptation of Liane Moriarty’s ‘Big Little Lies’, for which she was credited under her real name. Coolidge only adopted her screen moniker after fully embracing her change to the horror genre.

I am not put off about the Bill Skarsgaard Crow in the slightest.

With the exception of the tattoos, he looks more like the O'Barr original than Brandon Lee did. Lest we forget comic book Eric Draven had a mullet.

Daniel Kaluuya is another FANTASTIC actor, and he was great in "Get Out"! I don't think I'd consider him a horror film actor though. 🤔 But he's great!

I like what's his name Michael Ealy too! He's some some horror films before. He's great. I love James McAvoy as well. He's a great actor and does some creepy stuff. In fact, he has another creepy suspense film coming out in the future called "Speak No Evil". The trailer looks good, so I might check it out. 😊

God there is so much arresting imagery in the Nosferatu trailer, all of the smoky gothic high drama, the spire-skylines, Willem Dafoe's fucking face, the promise of Bill Skarsgaard going full gremlin-mode, Ralph Ineson's gravel voice.
