What if...MC ask Nik to double date with Ray and BSH MC how did he feel??

I mean, from Nik's perspective he has no clue how powerful Ray really is. He'd be on good terms with him for Oracle's sake. I do think general personality wise they might clash since Nik is a super cocky dramatic person. Whereas Ray is quite biting and passive. It could be fun to watch from an audience point of view, but the actual date itself would be hella uncomfortable me thinks lolol. (I also think Ray would eat Nik/Chronos alive...and not in the fun way XD so I am scared for my baby lol)

Yandere visual novel games recommendations

These are all free to download from itch.io on computer. I’m not sure if any of these could work on any other device but most probably not. Most of these games aren’t finished either and it’s the demo you play(they’re indie games created during, what I presume, is the persons free time, so it takes a while to develop) Still, you have content to play and it doesn’t end after just 5 minutes, I promise.

Of course, you’ve got to be careful out there! I admit, I may have gone on a bit of a spree the last few days. If you have any to recommend me warn me about, please let me know! I’m also open to non-yandere otome games, or basically anything with a romance option…

1) 14 Days With You

I really enjoyed this one, although it’s not finished yet- but it really stuck me as such a quintessential, classic “yandere” story. Ren is adorable, but I can’t wait to see his perfectly crafted exterior really start to crack.

Also, the sex scenes are hot and plentiful, if you pursue them. PHEW!

2) Binary Star Hero

God, I love insane blond boys. God, I love insane blond hero boys. I feel like there was maybe some wasted potential here, but I really enjoyed Ray as an RO. A fun playthrough!

3) Mushroom Oasis

Notably not sexual, and barely romantic, but I really like this one. Mychael is a pretty unique yandere, and I both liked and felt for him as a character- you get a strong sense of who he is and why he is the way he is. The tension between knowing he’s hypnotizing you and trying to keep you, and trying to convince him to let you leave, is also delicious.

4) A Date With Death

Not a yandere game, but holy shit, this one is so good. I love both the chat room medium and the art. Also, this game made me laugh out loud at several points (“you’re one of those… a homestuck” I screamed). Slight bummer but I got the bad end at first because I didn’t realize you could water the plant. I haven’t finished the dlc yet though.

I also played Prescription Love (medical kink go brrrr) and The Kid at the Back, but I found both to be just okay and pretty short. Also, despite being set at a University The Kid at the Back feels very high school, which… I’m almost 30, I can’t be playing games where the drama is about skipping class.

I also finally played through Whiskey Four, which is text-based but goddamn Ulysses is such a good yandere romance option and the writing is so good UGHHHHH.

Honourable mention for anything Gatobob has ever done, if you’re into particularly dark shit like I am. I’ve supported her for years at this point on patreon, it’s extremely hard to find content that really hits the mark like her’s does. The Price of Flesh is MWAH. Absolute perfection. (GOD I love insane blond boys.) Can’t wait for YKMET.

I've been looking up recs for otome games since last night, anon, and mostly they were switch and steam games and none, NONE of the lists ever mention itch.io, where some of my favorite otomes/dating sims originate from. (I believe Our Life started on itch.io before entering Steam, then there's Aloners, and who can forget the AMAZING ITYH).

I have added it to my collection and can't wait to play it tonight! Thank you so much for the rec!

I finished Binary Star Hero. It was fantastic, glad someone on Reddit recommended it to me.

Basically, it's one of those kinda fucked up otome games, with the premise being that you live in a world largely like ours but superheroes are a known and accepted part of life. You wouldn't think those two genres would mix, but they do! The writer has clearly thought long and hard (and I mean VERY long and VERY hard) about what your average North American city would look like if superheroes existed- from PR to social media takes to even organizational structure.

The game is very clearly inspired by, and written out of a love for, media like Marvel and DC comics and My Hero Academia (and maybe Invincible? I haven't seen it yet), but the story is very much its own thing. I love the interplay between heroes and villains, and different types of heroes and villains.

The art is of course stunning. The CGs are all beautiful- the shading work is impressive. In theme with the whole "Western conception of superheroes" thing, the backgrounds and speech bubbles have a halftone filter over them, and the sprites have some of that stylish halftone shading.

He’d probably dig and find out BSH MC’s identity and try to be rid of them in some way (not necessarily killing as that might make Oracle averse to moving on) then be promptly killed by Ray for dealing with BSH MC in the first place 🤣

I wish I liked all the other yandere things that are popular. I've loved the yandere trope for decades- the first fanfic I ever posted online was a yandere fic- and it's so cool that this once niche character trope that was almost exclusively resevered for female characters now sees just as much (if not more) use in male characters AND has such a thriving community of fans.

And YET... none of it's for me. None of it appeals to me. I've played the VNs and read the web comics and mangas and original stories on tumblr and with the sole exception of Binary Star Hero, I haven't enjoyed any of it. I'm not saying it's bad- most of it is damn good, and it clearly comes from a place of passion and I will always admire the people who make these things and put them out into the world, but I'm once again reminded of being in my late teens/early 20s and looking at otome games (before there was really a market for them in the west), staring at an endless ocean of interchangable, ambiguously-aged anime pretty boys and just feeling an ever growing sense of hopelessness as I thought "There is not a single character design here that I want to look at for an extended period of time..." God, the way I latched onto "Starstruck Love" because it was the ONLY piece of otome media I could find that featured yandere boys- y'all don't know how spoiled for choice you are these days.

To be starved for content when you're surrounded by content sounds crazy, but imagine going to a buffet and every single item on the menu is seemingly custom tailored to be something you don't like. There is one dish you find appetizing, so while everyone around you is loading up their plate, you're nibbling on your cookie, savoring it, yes, but trying to make it last... because god only knows when someone is going to bake another cookie like that again.

Natural is the way it feels when Napoleon cups your face in his powerful hands, hands that have held gleaming metal swords and Marengo's leather reins. His own lips tilt upwards ever so slightly before he finally gives in, bending down toward you, closing the distance and pressing his lips against yours, divinity made flesh.

His hands are warm and steady, his fingers gentle on your face and jaw. He holds you, precious thing that you are, as still as his own lips on yours. You are frozen in time, two souls encased in amber, a dedication to lovers everywhere. And then he shifts, his hands moving away from your face, making separate journeys. One finds the back of your head, delving into the silken expanse of your hair. The other travels down to the small of your back where it holds you close, pressing you against him, protectively. 

And now his lips follow suit, moving over yours, fitting and refitting together, over and over. He is gentle, devout instead of demanding, always pausing for a breath then moving again. He travels for ages over the landscape of your mouth, a pilgrimage of the holiest order. One more breath, one more step. 

And then…..

Then he parts your lips with his tongue and the heavens shatter.

Now you taste him, a binary creature, both angel and devil. Only an angel would hold you so close, so reverent. Only a devil would set you aflame, burn you from the inside, desire like drops of fire flooding your veins. And you, worshiper of Eros, melt in his arms and revel in the blaze. 

Now he is commander and conqueror. He is master of all that he holds. A man who seeks to rule must never hesitate and he does not. He takes and he takes, your tongue into his mouth, your breath into his lungs. All that you are is now his. 

Capitulation feels like paradise.
