does anyone have a link to any interview with the writer/director Hadi Hajaig on Blue Iguana like what inspired him to make this film please? Because I think he was just fanboying Sam Rockwell to hell and back, the goal seemed to be to make him look as sexy as possible. I just don't see what else could have possibly been the reason to make this weird movie in the first place.
That ass close-up in slow-mo, being tied to the pool table, heavy breathing on the face for no real reason, denim-on-denim, aggressively pulling on overall, even more aggressively working out with the skipping rope in tight white tshirt covered in sweat with his pecs bouncing, after all the romantic tension the whole damn time his only on-screen kiss is with her gay cousin - was any of this necessary for the plot, I swear to god
I aint complaining but I kept thinking this whole damn movie is just one gigantic Sam Rockwell fanart i loved every second of it I admit but damn doesnt happen so often to see such borderline oversexualization of a male lead right in your face So yeah I'd love to check out what director said about it, just to get a peace of mind thank you for your help
unnecessarily hot
There is literally no reason for Eddie to be sexy other than he just is, not for the plot, but yes he is
I was just bored. Argylle started my crush on Sam Rockwell again, oops. And I wanted made something with Sam's characters who I really adored or was interesting!
