Ci sarebbe un tema da fare ma sarò riassuntivo....

È dicembre e sono alla fine dell'ennesimo anno passato in modo uguale a quelli precedenti: lavoro,casa, famiglia e tante promesse fatte a me stesso, prima o poi cambierò, perderò peso, inizierò una vita diversa, solite cavolate che mi raccontavo, inoltre niente foto, niente Social, amici quasi zero per paura del giudizio. Si stava bene nel comfort zone.

Ma da oggi le cose le cambio ,mi prendo cura di me stesso ,sto perdendo peso,sono energico, grintoso, voglio essere felice e mostrarmi.

Mi sono messo in gioco con la vita con la quotidianità con lo stare bene ma soprattutto con me stesso, il motivo?

Guarda la foto loro sono le mie motivazioni, la mia grinta, la mia tenacia, la mia forza, loro sono la mia vita.

Lei: la mia musa, in questo momento ha bisogno della mia presenza è in un momento difficile ed io devo esserci per sostenerla.

Lui: 6 anni, ogni giorno che io rientro da lavoro (10 ore e passa giorno) mi dice: papà ma quand'è che stai a casa a giocare con me, voglio andare giù a giocare a calcio...mi scende una lacrima ogni volta.

Voglio crescere mio figlio, voglio stare accanto a mia moglie, voglio godermi la famiglia ma soprattutto voglio cambiare la mia vita in meglio. Questo tempo è adesso.

I am making an effort to wear dresses more. I really had convinced myself I wasn't a dress person, for 2 reasons. The first being my legs- I was born with the genetic #lipedema which causes deformities of the adispose fat in the lower extremities and generally onsets at puberty. Lucky for me I hit puberty earlier that all of my peers at 10. That's about when I stopped wearing dresses and accepted my title of "tomboy". Over the years I have bought many dresses determined I was going to wear them. Determined I was going to accept My legs as ME. I would put them on and accessorize only to change last minute into my trusty pants/slacks/genes. The other reason I found myself not happy with dresses is shoes. In 5th grade when I hit puberty my fit hit women's size 9 and they kept growing and by high school I was a size 12wide. We lived in a small town, long before amazon, and I could never ever find shoes beyond the men's department that fit, especially dress shoes. Now I am a size 14- because unlike the rest of the world my feet GREW when I lost weight 😪 - I always knew I was special! Ha. So this year after all life has shown me I decided to be okay with my legs and feet. To accept them and while I will continue to work on them, they are just fine as they are. I started a groups for sharing large shoe size resources and I bought dresses and I wear them! So here's to body positivity in 2017! What do you need to love? Down another 7.4lbs! 🏋🏾‍♀️ This was an awesome start to my Friday. I had been stuck (I like to think it was winter hibernating 😂) scale wise for a few weeks. I had done pretty good over holidays so I wasn't sure what was going on. @jillianmichaels reminded me I needed my sleep and I needed to CHILL out. That didn't mean veg out- just refocus and get back to basics like just walking, measuring my food and watching my calories. I was a little bummed to push pause on #bodyrevolution because I like finishing things. But she was right. Ugh. 🤣
