A little moment in OFMD that makes me scream and cry more than most is after the kiss when they decide to run away together and Ed says “I’ll work out all the details, you think up some new names. Cool ones.” LIKE. Ed knows that it’ll be faster if he’s the one to sort everything out without Stede’s help but he’s making such a conscious effort to give Stede a task that seems important so that he can still feel valuable and included!!! That scene is all about showing how in love with Stede Ed is and that detail just makes it even more obvious

Whenever I decide to draw stede and ed can actually be really funny because of the ship name, the thing is whenever someone asks me, "What are you drawing?", I say in a dramatic batman voice, "The BlackBonnet" and they think I'm talking about some demon king

I love this scene so much. Stede still barely knows Ed, so essentially Blackbeard just pulled a gun. The Blackbeard. The one Jackie (and basically everyone else) is afraid of. The one depicted with nine guns. The one who was talking about having literally eaten a man earlier the same night.  

And Stede doesn’t care. At all. He just sees a soft little guy going through it. He just sees the hurt in Ed’s eyes. He just sees Edward.

But what gets me the most is the face Ed makes after Stede is so firm with him.
