The #AdventureBible Book of Daring Deeds and Epic Creations will be a big help when planning #summer activities with my #youthgroup. It's like #scout projects/things to do. Super simple. Easy to use. And most of it is inexpensive if not free to do. I love it! I did receive a complimentary copy from #booklookbloggers; however, my post on Instagram was of my own choosing because I really have enjoyed this book. I found it extremely helpful. This would be perfect for #bored kids that need #somethingtodo. Or parents that need #amomentspeace for 5 minutes PLEASE!!! Lol #zonderkidz #zonderkidzbooks

Midnight at the Tuscany Hotel by James Markert
Midnight at the Tuscany Hotel by James Markert #BookReview #MidnightAtTheTuscanyHotel #BookLookBloggers @JamesMarkert @BookLookBlogger @TNZFiction
I read another book written by James Markert and enjoyed it, so when I saw Midnight at the Tuscany Hotel available through Booklook Bloggers, I jumped at the opportunity and definitely was not disappointed!
At the Tuscany Hotel, the water is said to have healing properties. The hotel itself is owned and operated by Robert and Magdalena Gandy and they host guests of a certain caliber — folks like…

I truly  love reviewing bibles, all sorts of bibles so when I saw this one I snagged it. I will say this Ancient-Modern Bible is definitely diffrent. Yes it is a NKJV, but what makes it so diffrent would be the fact it’s  truly a Catholic  Bible. Written the same as NKJV just with added goodies. Like in the back of this bible there are full colored photographs. I like this bible because it’s  diffrent from others I’ve  reviewed. In the back there are full colored maps as well and the only thing I don’t  really care for is the size of the font. Please enjoy the images of this bible, and would I purchase this bible probably not because I like bigger font, and  I enjoy study vertions  better. But if you like what you see please feel free to purchase this bible. You can find it on Amazon and a few Christian  book stores.
I have received this book free in exchage for my honest opinion of this material from booklookblogger.

Book Review: It’s not what you think - Jefferson Bethke
It’s been a few years since the viral “Jesus > Religion” video hit YouTube and was shared across social media platforms by believers and non-believers around. Attached to the popularity of Spoken Word and young artists wanting to be heard and not confined to a certain style of poetry, this video became a platform for Jefferson Bethke to share his testimony and faith in Christ to millions of viewers worldwide. It also paved the way for him to write his first book, Jesus > Religion, which is on my book shelf but is still on my reading list (Sorry, I’m assaulted by so much books from every aspect of this season right now, but I will get to it). My first plan was to read the first book and provide a blog discussion of it, albeit it being a few years late. I’m obviously no band-wagoner, or maybe I’m just a sloth. It’s been busy with the holidays and such, so I am finally getting to my review of Bethke’s second book, “It’s not what you think”.
From the get go and obviously with the book cover and title, Bethke is definitely provocative - as he attempts to pose questions to several “traditions” or practices Christians have assimilated into their lives which in turn influences our assumptions of Christ. One of the strengths of the book is its way of starting from the beginning of the biblical narrative and building the central thoughts and arguments with scripture. In a time where the authority of scripture is challenged and the creation story in Genesis contested in every academic discipline, Bethke writes with a passion for the gospel in line with the sufficiency in Scripture in every aspect of our human lives. Another strength is the tagline “It’s not what YOU think” as reiterated in every chapter title in the book. Living in a era where self-intellect and worldly wisdom is greatly valued over God’s perfect wisdom, it is a frequent reminder of the errancy of our own ways and the purity of God’s ways.
In any good book, a reader would have favorite chapters. In this one, I loved the chapters on sabbath and worship and think the Bethke provided great questions and biblical foundations on both practices that are evident in the Bible. One thing I did notice was that Behtke is a storyteller and becomes circular in his pattern of writing, which is very poetic and conversational in his manner. It is part of his artistic expression as a writer, but I wanted to write that in here for those who may be used to a very cut and dry style of writing.
There are suggested readings in the back of the book so check them out! He also provides social media platforms as a way of starting a conversation with him, so readers can check those out. Good, light read!
I received a free copy from BookLookBloggers and Thomas Nelson , in exchange for a review. I was not asked to write a positive review in exchange for a copy, but choose to write a review that is constructive, honest and helpful to other consumers.

The Comeback
The Comeback https://bigiufan29.wordpress.com/2016/02/05/the-comeback/

We all need a comeback. In his latest book,Louie Giglio shares several stories, from scripture, from others’ experiences and even his own life, to underline the fact that at some level, everyone needs a comeback. It could be a huge comeback, where huge obstacles are overcome with God’s help. Or, as he states in an early chapter, “it may be a deeper sort of comeback, where Jesus redeems the worst…

Bittersweet - Book Review
Bittersweet – Book Review
The title of the book is a fitting one because that pretty much sums up the life of the author and many of us in general.  I believe we all have bittersweet moments in life. It’s a good thing to not allow the bitter to override the sweet because as the author rightly states “troubles help to mold us” I like George’s attitude towards life; we could all learn a thing or two from the way he handles…

Review: Grateful American by Gary Sinise
Review: Grateful American by Gary Sinise @GarySinise @BookLookBlogger @ThomasNelson #blogger #reviewer #booklookbloggers #memoirs #gratefulamerican #garysinise #covertocovercafereads
My Thoughts Years ago, I watched Forest Gump. Not for Tom Hanks and the amazing character he played, but for Lt. Dan. As a teenager, I had a major crush on Lieutenant Dan and all he his role entailed. Of course, that probably had a lot to do with the amazing actor behind him, Gary Sinise. Ever since then, I have followed Sinise’s happenings in the news and all his acting roles. So, when this book…

Scary Close
Scary Close https://bigiufan29.wordpress.com/2015/02/07/scary-close/
Scary Close is an apt title for this book because in it, Donald Miller allows his readers to get scary close.  In his latest offering Miller pulls back the curtain of his life and heart and permits us to see the good and the bad, the successes and the struggles.
This is my first time to read a Donald Miller book.  I’ve heard of him as an author and have even had a paperback copy of Blue Like Jazz
