Ok, one of my biggest secrets is that I am continuously working on at least three goals at the same time. Sounds crazy?! Well, that might be, and of course, I am not literally working at the same time on each goal, but they are present on my weekly and monthly to-do list. - The only reason why I am not going crazy is that I am keeping track of the small achievements. It brings me joy to see the progress no matter how slow or fast it is because at the end of the day the one thing that counts is that you are moving forward. - And if I get stressed, I take a moment for myself and remind myself that I have still at least 70 years ahead of me. That's plenty of time to reach all my life goals. The number one stressor is the feeling of not having enough time and living in a crazy world like ours can easily make you feel that way. Unpopular Opinion: It's not always about the mindset. Granted, yes, your "I can do it, I can achieve it" mindset is VERY needed in order to propel you forward to take action. But sometimes, it really IS about the strategy + not the mindset. --> When your business isn't making consistent income, you don't yet have a proven marketing + sales strategy. So it *could* be your mindset, but if you're doing all the work around your mindset + you're not focusing on the strategy too... The scales are tipped + there's a gap. Consistent income + growing your business is a balance between 3 things: - Strategy - Mindset - Action If you're only focusing on Strategy, you won't have the can-do attitude or action to back it up. Leaving your genius unseen by the people you're trying to reach. If you're only focusing on the Mindset, you won't have the implementation or the process to back it up. Leaving you sitting around, waiting for it to fall into your lap. If you're only focusing on the action, you won't have the positive attitude to continue going when you hit a roadblock or the clarity of what to do, where to go, or the focus on a process that works. Leaving you feeling kicked around like a pinball in a pinball machine. And you can see how having only 2 of these 3 balanced creates a gap in the other as well. I've seen so much awareness on mindset + action. I remember when I first tried dark chocolate. 🍫 Hated it! But I tried it again recently. Even after knowing how bitter it is. Because Google said “it helps with cramps”. But Google also tells me I might die when I have a slight headache so I was skeptical. I was desperate so I tried it anyway & yeah it does works. (Take Note Ladies 📝) Hated every bite I took. But it worked and I got used to it. Getting used to the taste of bitterness is exactly what you go through while getting used to making videos. Especially something like Reels, that’s supposed to be short, impactful & challenging: Yes Reels are challenging. Some hate it because dance reels or reels where the person is literally standing & looking at the camera goes viral easy. While other hate it because its so short! Like how do you convey so much in a short time as a business or a coach. A whole other category of people who hate it are people like me. Well the old version of me. I used to hate it because “Gawd I have to be on camera & say things!”🙈 Look I get all the reasons. They’re valid from your perspective. It’s something that’s new. Beyond your comfort zone. Maybe it’s not for you. But as a business owner you know this is working. You know this here to stay. You somewhere know short videos are taking over social media. And if you don’t adapt you lose out. That’s the bitter truth. You gotta slowly come out of your comfort zone. You can do one of 3: 1. Hire someone to Coach you to create them. 2. Hire someone to Create them for you. 3. Hire someone who can do both a.k.a ME! 🦋@thedreamylass Third option is the best BTW! Just saying. Now of course some of you will be like I’ll learn on my own.
