THEY FLIPPED in the finale! And there was a barrier between them!

No matter how I feel about the pacing of this show,

It was visually serving me exactly what I want!

Hitting every note along the way (you get it?!)

Seheon is the lightest in the group.

But in the end, he combines his and Tae Yi's colors (grey), and so does Tae Yi.

Which is a nice callback to the first night they spent together with Seheon in black and white stripes, and Tae Yi in black and white solids.

Which extended into the morning

Watched "Into the Unknown" again for no particular reason whatsoever, and besides being the highlight of a movie that was meddled into absolute disappointment, I was struck by the genius of this shot as I watched Elsa run toward the edge of the cliff and remembered, "Oh, right, she stops at the edge and reaches out."

But no.

The movie is BETTER THAN THAT and has her make an extension out of ice, showing that Elsa's capable of pushing herself farther than the boundaries nature set for her, and that she's willing to go the extra distance to solve this mystery (which apparently the writers themselves didn't even have solved at the time).

It's just Good Animation. No one else is gonna do that. Every other character is going to stop where the cliff says "stop", but Elsa has MAGIC and she USES IT.

saw inside out 2, which did make me cry (a lot lmao), but was very cathartic. the exploration of anxiety and what it does to your sense of identity was really poignant stuff, even for an adult

I suppose I couldn't avoid her forever... it was wrong of me to even try. Neoma wanted to talk about that day, worried about how I felt after she rejected me... And I may have up and left with Moe for a long time, unannounced so... I guess she had the right to be concerned.

She hoped this didn't mean we couldn't be friends, still. It made me realize how... bad I treated her afterwards. Just because she didn't return my feelings I rejected even just spending time together...

Star Trek Discovery's finale was objectively very good - probably one of the best Trek finales - but thing is… it's a very finite finale, which makes me kind :/ because I prefer ambigous/open endings in Star Trek, and even if it was finely done, Discovery's finale feels very constricted as an end
