I could say SO much about this game and how truly wonderful it is, but for the sake of my sanity, I will not try to articulate my feelings because I am Bad At Words. What I will do is ramble a teeny bit about Wonder Power!! (Very very minor spoilers ahead)
So, unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a clear cut explanation of what Wonder Power is (which isn’t surprising for a Mario game jbdcjbsd). All that can be said for certain is that Wonder Flowers release the power and Wonder Seeds absorb it. I suppose that makes Wonder Power somewhat cyclical? In the sense that a Flower will release the power, but it also releases a Seed to absorb it, which will then grow into a Flower and release the power again and produce a Seed, thus feeding a cycle of some kind.
Royal Seeds can be used to contain a large amount of Wonder Power. Maybe these ones don’t grow into Wonder Flowers? Or maybe the Royal Seed will grow and release an extremely large amount of Wonder Power before turning back into a Royal Seed to contain it? Not sure how those work.
(Minor Spoilers Here) A very common Wonder effect leads to producing a large amount of Super Stars and/or making certain enemies invincible. This, plus the Flower itself looking very similar to a Star, makes me wonder (lol) if Wonder Power is actually a subset of Star Magic. Though one thing about it is that it is very unpredictable and uncontrollable, which doesn’t match most depictions of Star Magic, which has very clear cut and mostly controlled effects.
There’s quite a few ideas I can spawn from this… Perhaps Wonder Power is the result of Star Magic somehow mixing with Dream Magic when the Dream World first connected to the real world? Or maybe something about the Flower Kingdom’s location made Star Magic react in a really weird way when it seeped into the soil. Maybe it has to do with the plants there? I’d like to think Wonder Power might be one of the oldest forms of Star Magic able to be used by mortals… Maybe even the Flower Kingdom was the first place where plants became sapient? Maybe the Poplins (or their ancestors I guess) were the first sapient plant creatures on the planet??
It’s too early for me to say for sure where this will fit in the grand scheme of my Mario lore, but it is really exciting to think about and consider!

a bit of a mild milgram fan (i adore the music and music videos but i still havent checked out a lot of the dramas but i still vote because i like being involved LOL) and i feel like giving my unsolicited opinions on season 2 so far. even though it makes perfect sense based off what i see from the fanbase that Futa was voted innocent BUT as someone who was largely neutral but uninterested (aside from his awesome song) in his character in season 1, season 2 made me actually really REALLY like him but in particular way where i want to see that little twerp squirm so im SO sad no one else voted him guilty q-q i WANTED to see him suffer for the NARRATIVE
also I think Mu should be voted innocent because she slays

i've been thinking about the write up i want to do about how whilst i get it and don't think it's problematic, i'm not a fan of inherently cringing at and making fun of old writing from when i was younger for being so "bad" compared to what i write now (even if i can recognise that the writing is very goofy and juvenile and find that entertaining in hindsight) and one thing i just realised about it is that like. my excitement about writing is the same as it was back then. like when i was 11 i was soo excited and passionate about my little story about a desert princess who was a cat hedgehog hybrid and best friends with shadow the hedgehog. and at 23 i am sooo excited about my adult literary fiction novel that explores grief and survivors guilt and sexuality amongst the AIDS crisis. and for me i definitely think it's an autism thing but i don't think it's limited to me or autism i just don't think people often think to see it that way because so often we're expected to laugh at cringe at any earnest thing our younger/newer writer self created. like yeah that sonic the hedgehog fanfic i wrote was goofy, but i was earnest about it?? and i have the same earnest joy about what i write now so what exactly did 11 year me do to deserve being made fun of for their "bad" writing besides trying something new and being excited about it?? the fact that even though i've grown exponentially in the last 12 years i have that thread of joy for creating characters and storytelling that i can trace through my entire teenage years (which were a very traumatic and unstable time for me!) is soooo cool so why would i only see a vital part of that thread for all the things "wrong" and "cringe" about it?
