I'm so used to being on my own that compromises feel suffocating. I'm not sure if OA lang ako or what but I while I miss my girlfriend, I also miss being alone.
I miss eating out without having to order white rice. I miss splurging on fancy restaurants, eating overpriced pasta paired with an overpriced cup of coffee in Makati CBD, the extra greasy Pizza in Poblacion that my friends and I eat on the streets after downing 3k on cocktails and a mix of booze. I miss getting wasted that I tripped on my 3 inch heels and sprained my ankle for a week.
I'm so tired of spending 1k on Filipino food. (No hate but my dad cooks Filipino food everyday. I want to spend money on something I don't get to try everyday.)
I miss watching movies in the cinemas. Granted, I have 5 active streaming subscriptions (Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, HBO Go, and JuanFlix) but there's still something special with the old SM Cinema's busted seats, and Ayala Cinema's busted speakers. I miss the crowd's gasps in between scenes. I miss seeing couples on a date, holding each other tight in the dark, those two senior citizens who finally had their schedules match after decades and decided to watch Poor Things. I miss catching glimpses of celebrities when the lights turn on after the credits roll, like how I fangirl over Erik Matti after catching the screening of Buybust. I miss the big screen, seeing Cillian Murphy's piercing eyes on IMAX.
There's something special about the cinema experience that home streaming just can't suffice. I love cuddling with my girl but I'm so tired of it being over a Filipino mainstream film. I want our popcorn filled hands to hold over shitty seats that won't recline over a European black comedy.
I miss having my nails longer, painted in gray or tan or even red at times.
I miss wearing lipstick.
I miss having my hair side shaved.
I miss listening to weird underground music, or heartbreaking songs without it being translated as me being unhappy but simply because I just liked the song.
I miss talking to other people, without being doubted.
I miss going to events, even though I'll be there alone and I'll mostly lurk in the background. I just love being immersed somewhere, anywhere.
I miss not having to defend myself over the smallest things, as if I'm always on trial.
I miss the time when I didn't feel like I have to lose a part of myself just to be loved. I miss not having to compromise the things that I want to fit someone's definition of love.
I miss the time when this is just a post of my own personal thoughts. Because now, when she sees this, she would translate this as me being unhappy with our relationship.
I just miss breathing, and it feels like I haven't been doing that for a while now.
I just miss being treated like the princess for once. I miss being told to dress up. I miss the fancy meals, the flowers, the movies.
Am I asking for too much?
But I am in love so I could never ask for any of this.
So I'll wait for her to be home. We'll order another rice meal, watch Netflix and chill.
And hope that eventually I stop asking myself for the life I used to have.

I have to apologize to anyone that bought this film off my recommendation. Not that I think people give a fuck about my opinion, but I have been hyping this movie up for months.
Well it came out yesterday. I’m watching it as I type this. I think it’s the worst film of the year. Simple as that. This film is fucking TERRIBLE. And not “cheesy martial arts film” terrible. This is bad filmmaking.
Sorry for getting so excited about this sack of shite. I hope no one preordered it.

BUYBUST Film Review. Soooobrang lupit!! Soooobrang tindi!!! Hindi ‘to promotion or anything ha? Starting from Anne Curtis, to Brandon Veyra at iba pa nilang co-stars na sobrang gagaling din. Kudos sa team behind it! How I wish pwede i-pause yung film dahil gusto ko talaga umihi that time. Wahahahah!!! Pero grabe talaga Para akong sinasakal nung pelikula, ang bigat nung bawat eksena na parang nararamdaman ko yung pressure sa kanila nung parang me against the world na ang ganap! Ang tindi!! I love how they ended it. I love how they stitched all the plots at may revenge sa lahat ng nangyari. Yung fight scenes grabe! Sobrang seamless at well choreographed. Viva Artists Agency VIVA Films #BuyBustPremiere

MOVIE REVIEW-REVIEWHAN
Sobrang nakakapanindig nung buybust. Nagandahan ako at the same time natakot. Napakagulo. Magulo.

BuyBust 2018
One word for this movie…. INTENSE!!!!
I am one of those people who doesn’t enjoy watching bloody movies (like zombie movies and others). I did not expect that this movie was one of it. I was thinking that this was an action movie only but not this intense!
I’m glad it’s on netflix and I found it there, for someone like me who have been unemployed I’m thankful I’m able to watch it because I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!
As I sit on my bedroom chair and watch it from my laptop, I end up raising my feet on my chair. I was embracing my legs from time to time when my mind is guessing what the next scene will be… But funny as it sound, the entire duration of the movie I was grasping on my toes. My hands would hold on to my toes so hard as my heart jump and feel how scary it was to be in such location and situation.
I can’t help but remember the guy I dated from PDEA, I recalled his story that he lost a good friend from an operation and it traumatized him. He was sent for a vacation to recover and was temporarily transfered to a different section in the military.
Truly or military men would sacrfice their lives for their job and in reality there are also military men who are behind those drug lords or criminals in wanted list. Yes that statement hurts, but it is happening.
I want to commend Direk Erik Matti and the entire cast for the success of this movie. I can imagine the hardships including the trainings that the cast went through in giving their best for this movie.
i’m giving this movie a 5 out of 5 rating bec of the realities that it showed, the creativity, great performance esp by @annecurtissmith and her crew with Victor Neri.
***applause!***
