My photography journey
Hey everyone! 🙋♂️ I've been an iPhone aficionado since the days of the iPhone 3GS. 📱 From the sleek design to the ever-evolving technology, I've owned every model along the way. But there's one feature that's always stood out to me: the camera. 📷
Back in college, you could always find me with my trusty Canon EOS 1100D. 🎓 I was that guy who carried his DSLR everywhere, capturing moments and perfecting my craft. 📸 But over time, things changed. The convenience of my iPhone started to take over. 😅
Don't get me wrong – iPhone cameras are absolutely fantastic.
🌟 They have evolved to a point where they're rivalling some of the best dedicated cameras out there.
For everyday photography, most people won't notice the difference between a shot taken with an iPhone 14 Pro Max and a high-end camera like the Canon XA60 - Professional 4K Video Camcorder. 🤯
Just to be clear, I don't own a Canon XA60. 🛑 I'm just making a point about the evolution of smartphone cameras. 📈 For my vlogs on my "TMarsh-Connors" YouTube account, the difference between shooting with my iPhone or a professional camcorder isn't as noticeable as you'd think. 🎥
The iPhone has made photography more accessible to everyone. 🌍 You don't need to be a pro with a bag full of gear to take stunning photos or videos. Just whip out your phone, and you're good to go! 📲
However, I do sometimes miss the days of lugging around my Canon, tweaking settings, and composing the perfect shot. 🥲 There's a certain satisfaction that comes with using a dedicated camera and knowing the intricacies of photography. 📷
While my iPhone has made me a bit lazier and more complacent, it's also given me the freedom to capture life's moments without the hassle. ✨ Whether you're using a smartphone or a DSLR, the most important thing is to keep capturing and sharing your unique perspective with the world. 🌍
Stay creative and keep snapping! 📸✨
Feel free to check out my vlogs on YouTube at "TMarsh-Connors" and let me know what you think! 💬
Happy shooting! 📷📱

Samsung Galaxy A71 vs. Samsung Galaxy A71 5G: An In-Depth Comparison
Introduction
In the ever-evolving world of smartphones, Samsung continues to be a dominant player, offering a wide range of devices catering to different needs and budgets. The Samsung Galaxy A71 and the Galaxy A71 5G are two such models that have garnered significant attention. Although they share a name and several features, there are critical differences that set them apart. This blog will delve into a detailed comparison of these two models to help you make an informed decision.
Design and Build
Samsung Galaxy A71:
The Samsung Galaxy A71 boasts a sleek and modern design with a glossy plastic back that mimics glass, providing a premium look without the fragility. It features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The phone's dimensions are 163.6 x 76.0 x 7.7 mm, and it weighs 179 grams, making it relatively light and easy to handle.
Samsung Galaxy A71 5G:
The Galaxy A71 5G shares a similar design language with its 4G counterpart, including the same display size and resolution. However, due to the additional 5G hardware, it is slightly thicker and heavier, with dimensions of 162.5 x 75.5 x 8.1 mm and a weight of 185 grams. The difference in thickness and weight is minimal, but it might be noticeable to some users.
Display
Both models feature the same 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, which offers vibrant colors, deep blacks, and excellent viewing angles. The resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels ensures sharp and clear visuals, making both phones ideal for media consumption, gaming, and general use.
Performance and Hardware
Samsung Galaxy A71:
The Galaxy A71 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor, paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, depending on the variant. The Snapdragon 730 is a capable mid-range processor that handles everyday tasks, multitasking, and gaming with ease. The phone comes with 128GB of internal storage, which is expandable via a microSD card up to 1TB.
Samsung Galaxy A71 5G:
The Galaxy A71 5G, on the other hand, is equipped with the Exynos 980 processor, which includes an integrated 5G modem. This chipset is designed to offer enhanced performance and efficiency, particularly with 5G connectivity. The A71 5G also comes with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1TB with a microSD card. The Exynos 980 provides a slight edge in performance over the Snapdragon 730, especially in 5G-enabled areas.
Camera Capabilities
Rear Cameras:
Both the Galaxy A71 and A71 5G feature a quad-camera setup on the back. The primary sensor is a 64 MP shooter with an f/1.8 aperture, capable of capturing detailed and vibrant photos. The other three sensors include a 12 MP ultrawide camera, a 5 MP macro camera, and a 5 MP depth sensor. This versatile camera setup allows for a wide range of photography options, from expansive landscapes to close-up macro shots.
Front Camera:
For selfies, both models are equipped with a 32 MP front-facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture. This high-resolution sensor ensures clear and detailed selfies, even in less-than-ideal lighting conditions.
Battery Life
Samsung Galaxy A71:
The Galaxy A71 houses a 4500 mAh battery, which is more than adequate for a full day of use under typical conditions. It supports 25W fast charging, allowing you to quickly recharge the battery and get back to using your phone.
Samsung Galaxy A71 5G:
The Galaxy A71 5G also comes with a 4500 mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. However, due to the 5G capabilities, the battery life might be slightly shorter compared to the 4G variant, especially if you're in an area with extensive 5G coverage and are frequently using the high-speed network.
Software
Both the Galaxy A71 and A71 5G run on Samsung's One UI, which is based on Android 10 out of the box. Samsung's One UI is known for its user-friendly interface, with features like Dark Mode, Digital Wellbeing, and a host of customization options. Both devices are eligible for updates to newer versions of Android, ensuring you get the latest features and security patches.
Network Connectivity
Samsung Galaxy A71:
The Galaxy A71 supports 4G LTE networks, which are still widely available and provide sufficient speed for most users. It includes standard connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
Samsung Galaxy A71 5G:
The standout feature of the Galaxy A71 5G is its support for 5G networks. This next-generation connectivity offers significantly faster download and upload speeds, lower latency, and a more reliable connection in densely populated areas. Aside from 5G, it also supports the same connectivity options as the 4G variant, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and USB Type-C.
Price and Value
Samsung Galaxy A71:
The Galaxy A71 is priced more affordably compared to its 5G counterpart. It offers excellent value for money, especially for users who do not have immediate access to 5G networks or do not require the extra speed.
Samsung Galaxy A71 5G:
The Galaxy A71 5G is slightly more expensive due to the added cost of 5G hardware. However, if you live in an area with good 5G coverage or want to future-proof your device, the additional investment might be worthwhile.
Conclusion
In summary, the Samsung Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A71 5G are both impressive mid-range smartphones that offer excellent performance, versatile camera setups, and long battery life. The primary difference lies in the network connectivity and the processor. If you are looking for a more affordable option and do not need 5G connectivity, the Galaxy A71 is an excellent choice. However, if you want to take advantage of the latest 5G technology and slightly better performance, the Galaxy A71 5G is the way to go.
Final Thoughts
Choosing between the Samsung Galaxy A71 and the Galaxy A71 5G ultimately depends on your specific needs and budget. Both devices offer great features and performance, making them solid choices in the mid-range smartphone market. Consider your priorities, such as network connectivity, performance, and price, to make the best decision for your next smartphone purchase.

The sub-Rs 10,000 segment in India's smartphone market is witnessing fierce competition with the arrival of two exciting new contenders: the Lava Yuva 5G and the Realme NARZO N65 5G. Both devices boast 5G connectivity at an attractive price point, leaving potential buyers with a dilemma – which phone reigns supreme? Fear not, budget-conscious 5G enthusiasts! This comprehensive comparison will dissect the key features of the Lava Yuva 5G and Realme NARZO N65 5G, empowering you to make an informed decision and select the ideal phone for your needs. Lava Yuva 5G vs Realme NARZO N65 5G Design and Display: Size Matters (But So Does Refresh Rate) Both the Yuva 5G and NARZO N65 5G flaunt eye-catching aesthetics, featuring a trendy circular camera module on the rear panel. For those prioritizing a slimmer profile, the NARZO N65 5G emerges as the clear winner at a mere 7.89mm in thickness. However, the Yuva 5G might not be as pocket-friendly, measuring 9.1mm and weighing slightly more at 209 grams. While both phones offer a variety of vibrant color options, the display narratives differ. The NARZO N65 5G boasts a larger display with a higher refresh rate compared to the Yuva 5G. This translates to smoother visuals and a more responsive user experience, especially when scrolling or gaming. Additionally, the NARZO N65 5G's display comes with TUV Rheinland certification, ensuring reduced eye strain during extended usage. This model even throws in "Rainwater Smart Touch" functionality, allowing for seamless touchscreen operation even in wet conditions. In a nutshell: Slimness: Realme NARZO N65 5G (7.89mm) Display Size: Realme NARZO N65 5G (Larger) Refresh Rate: Realme NARZO N65 5G (Higher) Eye Strain Care: Realme NARZO N65 5G (TUV Rheinland certified) Wet Touch Operation: Realme NARZO N65 5G (Rainwater Smart Touch) Performance and Battery Life: Balancing Power and Endurance Under the hood, the Lava Yuva 5G employs the Unisoc T750 5G SoC, while the NARZO N65 5G harnesses the power of the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip. Benchmarks suggest the Dimensity 6300 might offer a slight edge in raw performance, scoring upwards of 400,000 on the AnTuTu platform. However, both phones come equipped with Dynamic RAM technology, allowing them to borrow a portion of storage space and utilize it as virtual RAM for multitasking. Here, the NARZO N65 5G takes the lead, offering up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM compared to the Yuva 5G's 4GB limit. On the software front, the Yuva 5G ships with Android 13, but is only guaranteed two years of security updates and an upgrade to Android 14. The NARZO N65 5G, on the other hand, runs the latest Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 out of the box. While Realme hasn't explicitly confirmed future software updates for the NARZO N65 5G, the newer Android version might be a future advantage. When it comes to battery life, both devices pack a respectable 5,000mAh battery, promising a full day's usage on a single charge for moderate users. However, the Yuva 5G boasts slightly faster 18W charging compared to the NARZO N65 5G's 15W charging. Here's a quick breakdown: Processor: Realme NARZO N65 5G (Potentially more powerful based on benchmarks) RAM: Realme NARZO N65 5G (Up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM) Software: Realme NARZO N65 5G (Android 14 out of the box) Battery Capacity: Tie (Both have 5,000mAh batteries) Charging Speed: Lava Yuva 5G (18W) FAQs Q: Which phone is faster, the Lava Yuva 5G or the Realme NARZO N65 5G? A: Benchmarks suggest the Realme NARZO N65 5G might have a slight edge in raw processing power due to its MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip. Q: Does the display quality differ between the two phones? A: Yes, the Realme NARZO N65 5G boasts a larger display with a higher refresh rate, potentially offering a smoother user experience. Q: Which phone has a better camera? A: While both phones have similar camera setups on paper, the Realme NARZO N65 5G might have a slight advantage with its Samsung JN1 primary sensor. In-depth reviews comparing camera samples will provide a clearer picture. Q: Is the software experience different on these phones? A: Yes, the Lava Yuva 5G runs Android 13 (with limited guaranteed updates), while the Realme NARZO N65 5G comes with the latest Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 out of the box.

The Indian smartphone market is a battleground for budget-friendly powerhouses. With the recent launch of the Infinix GT 20 Pro, three compelling options have emerged in the sub-₹25,000 segment. But which phone reigns supreme? Let's dive into a detailed comparison of the Infinix GT 20 Pro, Poco X6 Pro 5G, and OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G to help you choose the perfect device for your needs. Infinix GT 20 Pro vs Poco X6 Pro vs OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G Design and Build: A Tale of Three Styles While affordability dictates plastic construction across all three phones, each offers a distinct aesthetic approach. Infinix GT 20 Pro: This phone embraces a gamer-centric design with a customizable RGB lighting strip on the back panel. It's a bold choice for those who love to flaunt their gaming prowess. Poco X6 Pro 5G: The Poco offers a more subtle design with the option of a traditional plastic back or a premium-feeling vegan leather finish. OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G: If you prefer a clean and minimalist look, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G is the clear winner. All three phones boast an IP54 rating for basic dust and water resistance and feature flat displays with rounded edges for a comfortable grip. Display Showdown: Pixels, Refresh Rates, and Content Consumption The Poco X6 Pro 5G steals the show in the display department: Poco X6 Pro 5G: It boasts a 1.5K resolution panel with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support, making it ideal for watching movies and shows. Additionally, it boasts the brightest display among the three with a peak brightness of 950 nits. Infinix GT 20 Pro: While the GT 20 Pro offers a 144Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gaming, the difference between 120Hz and 144Hz is often negligible in everyday use. OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G: The OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G features a Fluid AMOLED display with HDR10+ support, striking a good balance between refresh rate and content consumption. For gamers, the Infinix GT 20 Pro's high refresh rate might seem appealing, but the Poco X6 Pro's superior resolution and HDR might be more immersive for watching videos. Performance Punch: Powering Through Your Day When it comes to raw processing power, the battle lines are drawn: Poco X6 Pro 5G: The Poco takes the crown with the most powerful chipset: the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra. This translates to top-notch performance for demanding tasks and games. Infinix GT 20 Pro: Not far behind is the Infinix GT 20 Pro, thanks to its MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chipset and a VC cooling system to prevent overheating during intense gaming sessions. Additionally, it boasts a Pixelworks X5 Turbo Gaming Display chip to enhance frame rates in games. OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G: The OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G employs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, prioritizing efficiency over raw power. This translates to longer battery life but might not be ideal for heavy multitasking or demanding games. While the Poco X6 Pro boasts the most powerful processor, the Infinix GT 20 Pro's gaming-centric features might make it a more compelling choice for serious mobile gamers. Camera Comparison: Capturing Memories The camera setups tell a different story: OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G & Poco X6 Pro 5G: These phones share a similar dual-camera setup with a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. The OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G edges out the Poco X6 Pro in overall camera performance, capturing sharper and more detailed images. Infinix GT 20 Pro: This phone takes a different approach, offering a single, high-resolution 64MP main sensor. While it might sound impressive on paper, the lack of additional lenses like ultrawide or telephoto limits its versatility. However, the Infinix GT 20 Pro redeems itself with a higher-resolution 16MP front camera compared to the 8MP or 16MP options on the other two phones. It also allows for 1440p video recording on the front camera, a step above the 1080p competition. Software Savvy: The Android 14 Experience All three phones run the latest Android 14 operating system, but with their custom skins layered on top: OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G: Previously known for its clean and bloatware-free interface, OxygenOS has undergone some changes. While it's still a decent option, the competition is catching up. Poco X6 Pro 5G: Poco's revamped MIUI skin, now called HyperOS, offers a more refined experience than its predecessor. Infinix GT 20 Pro: The Infinix GT 20 Pro runs a clean and bloatware-free version of XOS 14. Since user experience with custom skins can be subjective, it's difficult to declare a definitive winner here. HyperOS is gaining a reputation for being a user-friendly skin, while OxygenOS remains a trusted option. Ultimately, trying out the interfaces on these phones in a store might be the best way to decide which feels most intuitive to you. Battery Brawl: Powering Through Your Day Battery life is a crucial factor for any smartphone user: OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G: This phone boasts the largest battery capacity at 5500mAh, coupled with the most power-efficient Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. This combination translates to the longest battery life among the three. Infinix GT 20 Pro & Poco X6 Pro 5G: Both phones offer 5000mAh batteries, which is still respectable. However, the power-hungry processors in these phones might lead to a slightly faster battery drain compared to the Nord CE 4 5G. All three phones support fast charging, but OnePlus takes the lead once again: OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G: It boasts 100W fast charging, allowing you to charge your phone from 0 to 100% in a very short time. Infinix GT 20 Pro: Offers 65W fast charging, which is still reasonably quick. Poco X6 Pro 5G: Settles for 67W fast charging, falling slightly behind the competition. For users who prioritize all-day battery life on a single charge, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G is the clear winner. However, if fast charging is more important to you, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G again takes the crown. Infinix GT 20 Pro vs Poco X6 Pro vs OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G: The Verdict Choosing the right phone depends on your priorities: Gamers: The Infinix GT 20 Pro, with its high refresh rate display, gaming-centric features, and VC cooling system, is the best option for serious mobile gamers. Power Users: The Poco X6 Pro 5G boasts the most powerful processor, making it ideal for demanding tasks and multitasking. Additionally, its display offers the best viewing experience for movies and shows.
