Terrahawks - A Christmas Miracle

I'm currently watching the Terrahawks Christmas episode 'A Christmas Miracle'. I do enjoy Ninestein, Mary and Kate in their luxuriously silky dressing gowns, but all we have to do is wait for the part where they actually celebrate. While we're waiting, I would just like to tell you that Christmas will never be the same again when you watch it with Gerry Anderson…or in Gerry Anderson style.

The Gerry Anderson 'Merry Christmas Everyone' video just consists of word-spliced clips of Gerry Anderson shows set to the tune of the Shakin' Stevens song 'Merry Christmas Everyone', with a few added clips of the characters from each show having fun. I've fast forwarded it to the Christmas party, where everyone is boogieing on down and having fun…but sadly, there's no sign of Sram, Yuri or Lord Tempo invited. I wish they were good enough to be invited…and even get lots of presents. Yuri of course would get lots of soft toys because he's a teddy bear.

Do you think Ninestein got drunk and acted the same way as Uncle Stripe in the Bluey special 'The Sign'? Because with all strict scientists, you always need somewhere where they can get drunk. And drinking is prohibited! As is overdosing. Do you think Zeroids get drunk? Not Sargent Major Zero.

34 Perfect Days of Kent Parson - Day 10: Silver

What better place to win a Stanley Cup than in Las Vegas against the Aces?

Jack and the Falconers went from club to club to club to celebrate. Jack mostly sat with the Cup, not dancing, and taking pictures with fans and celebrities who had somehow ended up at the same club. He just knew that tomorrow, once the adrenaline left his body, he'd be hurting.

But, that was a problem for Future Jack.

Present Jack was busy walking out of club number 3, carrying the Cup with him. He looked up and was greeted by a giant billboard of Kent Parson advertising something. It looked like maybe it was a watch.

Jack had to admit that Kent looked good. But it could've been the adrenaline and maybe a little alcohol in his system. And the fact that the picture was huge and no matter where he looked there was always something Kent in his view. Or a spade. Which wasn't specifically Kent, but in the context of the day, maybe it was specific to him.

Jack couldn't help but wonder if the smile on the billboard was genuine. Kent really was good at faking a smile.

And he then wondered what, and who, was making Kent happy now.

He wanted Kent to be happy, even if it was difficult to feel that way after losing game 7 in the Stanley Cup Finals.

He looked back when he felt a hand on his back. "Yes?"

"Holding up the line, Zimmboni," Snowy said.

"Sorry," Jack said.

"You sure you don't want to hand off the Cup?" his goalie asked. "You can let someone else hold it."

Jack shook his head. He'll hand it off later. For, right now, he wanted to keep it close. He headed to the back of the bus and set the Cup down next to him. He kept a hand on it as he looked out the window as they drove to the next stop.

More spades. More Kent. More the city of Las Vegas thanking the Aces for an amazing run.

He turned the Cup and looked at the winner from two years ago.

KENT PARSON-CAPT.

It was the third time his name had been engraved on the Cup.

Jack was only one behind him now. He was determined to get at least one more. 

He ran his finger back and forth over Kent's name as he looked out the window. More Kent. More Aces. More of the place that Kent has called home for over a decade.

Jack spun the Cup to look at the first time Kent's name was stamped into silver all those years ago. He remembered feeling so jealous of Kent.

But that jealousy felt so far away now. Because he was tired. But happy. And he really hoped that Kent was happy too, even if it wasn't for Jack. He hoped that Kent wasn't alone.

And his tired brain focused on that. He wanted someone to be there to take care of Kent. A family member. Or teammate. Or best friend. Or maybe even a boyfriend.

He hoped that there was someone out there that loved him because even though Jack hadn't been with Bitty for over a year, he remembered how nice it was to be loved. And he wanted that for Kent.

So I went to see Captain America.

Spoilers beware.

I'll be the first to say that it is NOT as good as the other 3 films. It's probably ranked 4th behind Winter Soldier, Civil War, and The First Avenger. However, I'm not saying it's a bad film. If you enjoyed Falcon and Winter Soldier on Disney + (and its probably very few people outside our tumblr bubble given the political undertones and focus on the black struggle ) but IF you gave the series a chance, you may enjoy this film. It's kind of a continuation of the political climate you saw on that show but a bit farther down the timeline given Bucky's lack of involvement in the fighting. I'm not all the way caught up on the Marvel series due to working all the time but I did watch Falcon and Winter Soldier ages ago. It helps to have that background knowledge.

To be honest, Sam did a great job in his role but I feel like the movie had just as much expo on the Red Hulk. It, at times, felt like a Red Hulk focused movie as opposed to Sam taking the lead. They're both hand in hand and probably had the same amount of screen time but the Red Hulk focus nearly stole the show for me.

I also think that those of us who grew up on the MCU are having difficulty grasping life after the original cast of Avengers. There were a lot of things I thought the Disney series set up for us to see but didn't deliver. Just teased. This felt like a bridge film. Again, solid 7 out of 10, but don't go into it expecting Winter Soldier. It's more like the politics of Civil War before they give you a decent pay off.

Anyway I think that if this movie and the next two MCU films aren't well received, the next Avengers movie is not going to do well. And it's because nostalgia haunts these new MCU films big time. These last few have mostly been good but people constantly comparing them to what we had are going to continue to be disappointed. And people forget the Marvel comics have always been laced with politics, which is what drives this film for a bulk of it.

Just my two cents...and Sam's my Capt now. And that's that.

On the F-ZERO TV stage, Black Shadow makes an announcement in front of the viewers, his rivals, his henchmen, and his fans.

Black Shadow: And now, feast your eyes on the most amazing display you'll see all evening. Hit it, Zoda.

Zoda pulled up the rope opened the curtains and reviled a ship.

Black Shadow: Ta-da!

All the pilots stared at the ship. Mr. Zero walks up to Black Shadow.

Mr. Zero: Black Shadow, what does have to do with tonight's event?

Black Shadow: French Ship! It's a French Ship. Can't you read? While all of you are busy dancing and showing sissy flowers. I was building the real thing here! An exact replica of a 1914 French Warship. Yeah! And it comes with usable cannons. Show 'em, Deck Hand! *Blows whistle*

Blood Falcon: Qui, Qui, Capitaine!

Blood Falcon shoots the cannon balls and one of them landed straight to Capt. Falcon, Dr. Stewart, Pico, and Samurai Goroh damaged their seat in half.

Mr. Zero: Uh, Black Shadow it's not "French Ship" it's "Friendship".

Black Shadow: *Rubbing the back of his head * "Friend"? "Friend". "friend". Oh, "Friend"! Right, of course! Use it in a sentence.

Mr. Zero: Black Shadow, this is rather awkward but. *touches Black Shadow's shoulder* Do you know what "friend" is?

Black Shadow: *Smacks Mr. Zero's hand* Don't be silly! "Friend". As in a big medieval monster that devours villages?

Then one of the pilots calls out on Black Shadow's dumb views.

Dr. Stewart: *Laughs* That's a "fiend"!

The pilots and the fans started laughing at him.

Jody: We tell you. But that's what dictionaries are for. *continues to laugh*

Pico: It's so ridiculous.

Black Shadow is embarrassed.

It's been a long while since I designed a fan made F-Zero pilot! Her name is Bolge! :D

There aren't any female villains in F-Zero, and most of the characters are slender/curvy… so I went in the opposite direction for her!

Lorewise, since Blood Falcon is too "immature" (being four years old and more focused on being edgy), I feel like it would make sense that Deathborn would hire a proper bounty hunter to rival Capt Falcon…

Especially since Blood Falcon and Black Shadow are prone to failure.

CAPTAIN MELANIE "MACH" KLUESNER

Captain Melanie Kluesner is the Commander, F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team, 388th Fighter Wing, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The mission of the F-35A Lightning II Demonstration team is to showcase the unique aerial capabilities of the Air Force’s most advanced 5th generation multi-role stealth fighter, the F-35A Lightning II, as well as highlight the history of the Air Force’s service through heritage formation flights. Additionally, she provides operational oversight and direction for the 13-personnel team, to include maintenance, aircrew flight equipment, and public affairs Airmen.

Capt Kluesner entered the Air Force in 2015 after receiving her Distinguished Graduate commission from the U.S. Air Force Reserve Officer Training Program at the University of Southern California. She is an experienced fighter pilot with more than 800 flying hours in the F-16C Fighting Falcon, F-35B, and F-35A Lightning II. Her flying assignments include Undergraduate Pilot Training at Sheppard AFB, Texas, and fighter training in the F-16C at Luke AFB, Va., in the F-35A at Eglin AFB, Fl., and in the F-35B at MCAS Beaufort, SC. Operational assignments include Kunsan AFB, South Korea, a USMC exchange at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan, Luke AFB, Arizona, and Hill Air Force Base, Utah. In 2020, she became the first USAF pilot to deploy in the F-35B.

Nintendo is a bunch of pussies and deserved to be dragged for the fact they won't bring back the F-Zero franchise. Like, they say 'oh its hard to restore the brand when so many people like Mario Kart' but bro...I can think of so many ways to revive this shit from small to large. Here's a EASY way to garner attention to F-Zero. Listen closely--

PORT F-ZERO GX TO THE SWITCH

Bro, so many people are learning of old games like Banjo Kazooie just through virtual console. HELL THEY PORTED PIKMIN 1 AND 2 FOR THE PIKMIN 4 GAME!!!! There's no reason to do Capt. Falcon dirty like this.

There's a ton of people that just have shelves of racing games and it's not all just fucking Mario Kart (my boyfriend has so many of them I can't even count bro) so reviving F-Zerio wouldn't be so hard ESPECIALLY since it plays SO MUCH DIFFERENT from Mario Kart. Instead of relying solely on stats and luck with items and some skill, F-zero will force you to learn the track, carefully select a character and have them adapt to a cup or have a certain character for whatever cup you choose and you gotta rely on your wit and split second choices because if your ass don't know the lay out????? Youre flying the fuck off and DYING you will see your character crash and BURN violently and that goes hard as fuck. Speed is THE game here; your memory of the track gotta be second nature to guide you as you speed through that mfer.

And to add on the aesthetics of being far future with comic book esque heroes, villians, weirdos, aliens, assassians, AND LITERAL CAR SATAN is metal as FUCK. If you don't think that goes hard pls exit and head over to Weenie Hut Jrs.

But since it was developed by old Sega and Activision before they lost their competitive nerve we will probably never get anything like it again...(Or another good Monkey Ball, Space Channel 5, Jet Set Radio, etc etc...)

TD;LR: Nintendo is cowards bring back F-Zero I'm sorry Mario Kart is a classic but NOTHING makes your blood pump like a clutch ass race in F-Zero GX.

Marco would play as Wario (to annoy Rachel, Jake, and sometimes Tobias and Ax).

Rachel would go for Female Robin, Corrin, and Byleth.

Both Rachel and Tobias would play as Zelda and Link respectively.

David would unfairly spam Smash attacks to win. And taunt constantly.
