this piece was one of my most time consuming! the painting took a long time on its own. it's too bad some of the underglazes turned out a different colour than expected. the lighter coloured horses are a little off. one in particular looks a bit green.

my mom was the one who wheel threw this piece, and I handbuilt the ...yellow thingies. the decorative thingies around the rim.

I should do more carousel animals. I made a carousel bison design ages ago and never used it

I picked up this little guy at a yard sale for 15$. I think clean him then I'll paint over some of the areas where it's cracking, chipped, or mispainted then apply something to make it glossy.

I want to repaint him as close to the original as possible because this he is an older item (1993).
