What kind of phones do they usually use???
Phones (modern day)
Peppino: Probably has one of those phones you'd get in a box that comes with the prepaid plan. He's too broke to be picky.
Gustavo: Probably has an android of some sort. He's not a brand snob. If it makes phone calls and plays a few games, he's happy.
Mr. Stick: Now HE'S a brand snob. iPhone or nothing. He always has the newest one. He's definitely a phone addict, too.
Pepperman: iPhone. He likes expensive things and popular brands. He also has an iPad he uses for art.
The Vigilante: He probably has a cheap Motorola or something. He's not too keen on technology. He always needs help finding the weather app.
The Noise: Samsung kind of guy. Has the newest and most popular one. He'd get an iPhone, but every time he gets one, he drops it, and it shatters. He's too clumsy.
Noisette: iPhone. Has a cute case for it plus a screen protector. She probably even has a cute popsocket for it.
Fake Peppino: Has an iPad. No one knows how or where he got it. He doesn't use it for much other than playing games and watching videos.
Pizzahead: Another Samsung guy. He likes that he can play around with developer options and tinker with all the settings.
Pillar John: He has a Samsung, but definitely one of the Plus phones since they're bigger. He has big ass hands and needs a big ass phone.
Gerome: He probably has a Motorola. It makes calls and plays games. That's all that matter to him. (He's one of those people that's on level 1000 in Candy Crush).

I have never used titkok in my life but I do love sticking it to the man
Tumblr media
Text reads:
Paccussebb:
I have figured it out.
Download a VPN and set it to Sweden or France. I recommend Surfshark because it works well with TikTok, is cheap, and is fast. Here's the link: https://surfshark.com/tiktok-vpn.
Install a mock location app and enable it in Android developer mode.
Clear all data for the TikTok app, or download the APK from a trusted site on Google. Set your location to a country where TikTok isn’t banned, like France or Canada
And don't forget it was Trump who called for banning it in the first place lmao. Dems and GOP both suck on this issue, don't let Trump swoop in to 'save' tiktok and act like a big damn hero

Modded Balatro on Android is possible! (and not easy to do, but here's a tutorial to help you do it).
Part of the fun of PC gaming is being able to mod games, and devices that run Steam games can still use mods BUT android ports cannot. This is due to the fundamental differences between Windows, IOS, and Android.
So modded Balatro on Android was out of the question.
Or so it appeared.
Turns out early on people realized that Balatro uses an engine called Love which is very easy to dissemble and dissect. So before the official Mobile port came out, players were able to extra the Balatro files from Balatro, turn those files into a zip, and then run the game as a zip file through the Android app Love2d.
Eventually this process became automated and if you have an android device in developer mode you can allow the app on a PC to install Balatro and transfer to save files along with it.
Well, as it turns out, this process can also allow you to install a modded version of Balatro, but it's uh, not transparent how it exactly works or what can go wrong.
But I figured it out! And I can show you how.
NOTE:
I will not provide a copy of my modded Balatro. You need to buy Balatro and install it on Steam. Buy a cheap key before you try to outright steal. That's my opinion.
Yes, you will need a PC. The mod files run through Lovely Injector. Lovely Injector supplements the mod data into the Love Engine, so when Balatro runs, Lovely Injector dumps the Mod game data into the game's loading process.
Guess what doesn't exist on Android? Lovely Injector.
Now pathing could change that but god help you if you want to change where lovely Injector pulls mod data.
So you can change that information at will so that it can pull the mod information from the pathing that Android uses. I tried to figure that out but could not do it. But that is a thing you can do.
Now with that out of the way, let's talk about how I figured out how to add modded Balatro.
Okay, so the first step is to download the tools you need. You have balatro of course, so now you require Balatro Mobile Maker and a couple Batch scripts. Also 7-zip
Here's a link to download 7-zip
And here's a link to download Balatro Mobile Maker, a list of compatible Mods, and the Batch files you will also need.
NOW, if you want to edit the textures and music on Balatro follow these steps.
Step 1: Go on nexus or any other website that hosts Balatro mods and download texture and music focused mods.
Step 2: Open Balatro.exe (easily found by right-clicking Balatro from your library and selecting “browse local files”) using 7-zip and extract the resources' folder, you can extract the whole thing if you want to, but it's not necessary.
Step 3: Fire up your art program of choice (it has to have built in transparency, so NO MS Paint.) Open both the default sprites you want to change and the mod sprites you want to use in the change, and just start copying and pasting. Keep in mind that there is a 1x and a 2x of most sprites, but you only require the 1x of a given sprite because once you're done editing you can just can resize that image to the resolution of the 2x and nothing is out of place. Also. If you are editing hologram Joker, make the sprite translucent. I saw several artists screw that up. You just need to make the sprite translucent, and it will work like the original hologram Joker does.
Step 4: Take that edited Sprite sheet and re-open the Balatro.exe file as an archive again. Overwrite the default sprites with your edited ones in the archive and close it. Now, Balatro will run with those edited sprites as the default ones.
Music has the same steps, only difference is that you'll need to change the file type to .OGG and you'll want to rename the music file to whatever track you want to replace. (Note that editing music files this way will result in the soundtrack being slowed down for whatever reason. You can compensate for that by presumably speeding the track up in Audacity)
Step 5: You will power up Balatro Mobile Maker and run it. The program should fetch all the tools it needs to run correctly. It will ask permission for various actions several times, just say yes to the most logical choices, fps 30 can be left blank. You can run the executable wherever for the most part (at least for this process it doesn't matter) and it will find your legal copy of Balatro, unpack, format it into an APK compliant format, and then repack the file to be played as an APK. Now you have a version of Balatro that plays with modified textures and music files.
That's pretty good, but what if you want to enjoy all the fun and interesting modded jokers?
Well, first off, you'll need to temper your expectations. Some of the best Balatro mods also completely overhaul how Balatro works, and the Mobile Maker cannot cope with maintaining that functionality with Android. I provided a folder of all the mods I know won't break the game at boot. Whatever happens after that is out of my hands.
Step 1: Delete whatever mods you have already in your Mod folder (excluding Lovely and Steammodded). Go into the lovely folder and delete the files in the dump folder as well.
Step 2: Drop the mods I provided into the mod folder and run Balatro. Assuming you didn't have any issues with the game finding Lovely or Steammodded you should have booted into the main menu with the Mod tab accessible. Play a new game and do a couple hands. Don't worry about winning the round, just play a couple hands so that instance of your game is saved.
Step 3: Run Balatro Mobile Maker. Run it as normal, but when it gets to the part where it asks if you want to transfer save files, leave it alone and Run Balatrofoldersetup.bat. That will copy and move around a bunch of files needed for the Mod Transfer process. Once you clicked that Bat once, go ahead and tell the Mobile Maker to transfer your save file. When it's done, click on Balatrofoldercleanup.bat to turn things back to normal. If you forget to do that, Balatro on your PC won't run. Don't worry. If you forget to do that, clicking on it at anytime will still work as intended.
Step 4: This is the hardest step. Doing Step 1-4 over again because X thing happens.
If your pc is hooked up to your android device and mobile maker is supposed to be installing it on your Android device (and has the permissions to do so) but doesn't install it. Try again. If the App just plain crashes, move the app to a different folder and try again. I hear it works best in folders where the Balatro.exe file actually is, but I alternated between download folder, Balatro Mod folder, and the actual folder that contains the Balatro game files and there was no real difference.
If the save transfer finishes in a couple seconds, it didn't work. You can confirm it by opening the Balatro game and seeing that it's just default Balatro without the Mod tab. If the save transfer process takes several seconds to actually transfer the data, then it's actually legitimately working. If you boot up and see evidence of your previous game progress and the mod tab, you're in! Enjoy it friend!
Addendum:
Yes, I know that people have gotten Jen's Almanac, Pokermon, and especially Cryptid working on Android, I don't like using the Jen and Cryptid mods because they're just insane and exist for the spectacle.
The Vanilla Joker mods dilute the collection of Jokers making the really powerful cards less likely to show up and making really odd niche cards more likely to get in the way, this adds a bit of challenge. Jen and Cryptid having many face roll jokers eliminates that, however.
Also, a lot of overhaul mods require modifying the shader files to get the game working on Android, and I just don't know where to begin fixing that. I tried the patches and they didn't work.
If you know the solution to "error validating vertex shader code: Line 125 error '/': wrong operand types: no operation '' exists that takes a left-hand operand of type ' global highp float' and a right operand of type ' const int (or there is no acceptable conversion)"
Post it on this web zone, I'm not the only one wanting a solution for that, and no one on the Balatro Mobile Maker GitHub had a solution (that worked).
There are other mods I skipped that probably worked but didn't personally want in my pack, so go to Mirahaze and download whatever mod you like and go through the steps I tried. If you boot up the Android app, and it crashes, specifying that some abbreviated file linked to a specific mod was not found or had trouble installing, get rid of the mod. You could fix it, but if you could do that, you probably didn't need my help to begin with.

EVM Compatible Blockchain 2025: The Backbone of Web3 Scalability & Innovation
Tumblr media
As the Web3 ecosystem matures, 2025 is shaping up to be a transformative year, especially for EVM-compatible blockchains. These Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible networks are no longer just Ethereum alternatives; they are becoming the foundation for a more connected, scalable, and user-friendly decentralized internet.
If you’re a developer, investor, or blockchain enthusiast, understanding the rise of EVM-compatible blockchains in 2025 could be the edge you need to stay ahead.
What is an EVM-compatible blockchain?
An EVM compatible blockchain is a blockchain that can run smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps) originally built for Ethereum. These networks use the same codebase (Solidity or Vyper), making it easier to port or replicate Ethereum-based applications across different chains.
Think of it as the “Android of blockchain” — a flexible operating system that lets developers deploy applications without needing to rebuild from scratch
Why 2025 is the Breakout Year for EVM Compatible Blockchain?
1. Scalability & Speed Are No Longer Optional
In 2025, network congestion and high gas fees are still major pain points on Ethereum. EVM compatible blockchains like Polygon, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Lycan, and the emerging Wave Blockchain are providing faster throughput and significantly lower transaction costs. This allows dApps to scale without compromising performance or user experience.
2. Interoperability Becomes a Standard
Web3 is no longer about isolated blockchains. In 2025, cross-chain bridges and multichain apps are the norm. EVM compatible blockchains are leading this interoperability movement, enabling seamless asset transfers and data sharing between chains — without sacrificing security or decentralization.
3. DeFi, NFTs, and Gaming Demand EVM Compatibility
Whether it’s a DeFi protocol like Uniswap, an NFT marketplace, or a Web3 game, developers want platforms that support quick deployment, lower fees, and a large user base. EVM compatible blockchains offer all three. That’s why platforms like OneWave, a next-gen multichain ecosystem, are being natively built on EVM-compatible infrastructure to unlock full utility across DeFi, NFTs, GameFi, and beyond.
Key Benefits of Using an EVM Compatible Blockchain in 2025
Lower Development Costs: Developers can reuse Ethereum-based code, tools, and libraries.
Wider Audience Reach: Most wallets like MetaMask, and protocols support EVM chains out of the box.
Cross-Platform Utility: Launch on one chain, expand to others seamlessly.
Greater Liquidity & Ecosystem Integration: Easier to tap into existing DeFi liquidity pools and NFT communities.
The Future Outlook: What Comes Next?
As of 2025, the trend is clear: dApps will prefer chains that are fast, cheap, and EVM compatible. Ethereum’s dominance is no longer enough to guarantee loyalty. Instead, flexibility and performance are king.
With the rise of modular architectures, Layer 2s, and zkEVM rollups, the EVM ecosystem is expanding at an unprecedented pace. EVM compatibility isn’t just a feature anymore — it’s a requirement.

last weekend with the birthday money i have, i have bought myself a nokia 2780 flip in navy blue.
i bought the last one on sale at target, for $79.99. i think still, it was a little too pricey, but it is factory unlocked, so ill give it that.
its small, cute, and a little flimsy.
cheap and cheerful like some people like to say.
i so excited that i unboxed it and put my verizon sim card in, on the ride home. it worked perfectly fine, and im really happy about that. ive been looking for a dumbphone for my digital minimalism needs, but i wasnt really too sure network compatibility wise.
Tumblr media
van gogh...
along side the nokia 2780, ive been using my old smartphone, a samsung galaxy a51 as a pseudo mp3 player.
what i did to this poor smartphone is kinda cool
install olauncher (light mode!)
universal adb debloater
remove apps i dont need anymore: contacts, phone, messages, etc
enable monochromacy screen settings
always on power saving mode
"sensors off" in developer settings
put a whole bunch of mp3s on it ... yo ho ho.. .arggh.. ahoy..
disable screen lock
wifi and bluetooth off, all the time.
koreader on f-droid (bless this app)
retro music on f-droid
and thats all!
simple little mp3 player that can read books too..
though, ive been wanting a real mp3 player or android dap, i think ill save up for that next, but for now, this will work fine.
lets see how long i keep this up... its quite fun for now.
thinking about it, i kinda want to live like hidamari sketch.. that lifestyle era of technology is just lovely.
see you next post! take care everyone - aoi, c. 2.11.25

If anyone is looking for a rythm training app on android, "complete rhythm trainer" is really good and quite cheap (you can even e-mail the developers if you can't afford it). It starts from a very beginner to a very advanced level and you've got both writing and listening/practice exercises.
They also have 2 other music apps that I haven't tried yet.

You might have gotten this one before but what art program do you use? I have a cheap one that doesn't work so good so I was wondering if you had any recommendations
I really like your art and I hope to make something that looks as cool as yours someday! Keep up the great work!
Hello! Thank you for the ask! I actually haven’t had anyone ask this question yet, so no worries.
I’m not sure if you’re using an art tablet or computer, because I have somewhat of an idea that those use different art programs better suited for them. I use an iPad to make my drawings, and my main art program is Procreate. However, Procreate is notably a very solid painting-based application, so depending on your art style as well, the wide set of tools provided by this program may or may not be easier to use. I lack the skills to paint, so the art you see on my page are created using the sketch and pencil tools. Some people might say Procreate is only for the professionals and “real” “serious” artists, but never let anyone put the idea that only the best can pick up a paintbrush. Additionally, there are also a lot of videos on YouTube that could give more professional advice on how to adapt to the art program. The primary drawback is that it costs…money, and is limited to the iOS bloodline.
An art program I would actually recommend is Ibis Paint X, which should run fine both on android and iOS devices. Ibis was my secondary art program [or more accurately, the second art program I started using after MediBang], and it has more options for individuals who prefer line-based “anime” creations, although I have definitely seen more than nutty creations that go beyond the expectations of normality from the app. It’s so convenient to use that people without a digital drawing pen can still draw undisturbed with their fingers alone. The main drawback, if I’m not mistaken, is that most tools require you to watch an advertisement before being able to use it, since it is a free application. It also has a wide variety of filters and not just layer effects you could apply to your works. ^^
Well, all these recommendations may be null since at the end of the day I’m not sure if they are compatible with your current device, so I apologise if what I essentially said was all a nothing burger. You should also go with whatever application you’re most comfortable using with regardless of your experience with art <- important
Thank you for the kind words as well 🙏 Keep drawing and you’ll soon develop your own beloved unique works and style!

How Startups and Enterprises Can Find the Best App Development Companies in India
Introduction
Looking to create the next big mobile app? Whether you're a startup founder or a corporate IT lead, finding one of the best app development companies is the first big step. With so many agencies out there, the process can feel overwhelming. But don’t worry — this guide will help you narrow it down with clear, simple advice.
What Makes a Great App Development Company?
Not every firm is the same, and not all of them will suit your goals. Here’s what to look for:
1. Strong Technical Skills
Your app needs to work across devices, screen sizes, and platforms. The company should be skilled in technologies like:
React Native and Flutter for cross-platform apps
Kotlin or Java for Android
Swift for iOS
Also, they should know how to integrate APIs, use cloud services, and build scalable architectures.
2. Relevant Industry Experience
You want someone who understands your business space. For example:
A custom app developer with experience in retail apps knows how to implement payment gateways.
Someone familiar with health apps understands data security compliance.
Ask: “Have you built apps similar to ours before?”
How Do They Handle Project Management?
Working with a team that communicates well is just as important as coding. Look for:
Clear development timelines
Tools like Jira, Trello, or Slack for updates
Weekly review meetings
A well-organized app development agency will walk you through each phase — from idea to launch.
Onshore vs. Offshore Development: Which is Better?
Let’s explore what suits Indian businesses better:
Onshore (India-based companies):
No time zone difference
Easier collaboration and language alignment
Better understanding of Indian user behavior
Offshore (e.g., US, UK companies):
May offer broader global insights
Often more expensive
Time zone lag may slow communication
If you're based in India, partnering with one of the best app development companies within the country often gives you the perfect balance of quality and affordability.
Key Questions to Ask Before You Hire
What is your experience with apps like mine?
Can I speak to previous clients?
Do you offer end-to-end development — from planning to post-launch support?
What happens if we need future updates or fixes?
Getting clear answers builds trust and prevents surprises later.
Startup Story: Making the Right Choice
A Pune-based EdTech startup was confused between a large agency and a boutique firm. The larger company was more expensive but had lots of projects. The smaller team offered personalized support, quick feedback loops, and deep involvement in ideation. They chose the smaller one — and launched in 3 months with 50K downloads in the first quarter.
The takeaway? It's not always about size — it's about compatibility.
Red Flags to Watch Out For
When exploring app partners, don’t ignore these signs:
No NDA or confidentiality agreement
Too cheap pricing (you get what you pay for)
No clear deliverables or contract terms
Unclear ownership of the app’s source code
These are signs that the company may not be reliable long-term.
Conclusion
When it comes to choosing the best app development companies, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer. It’s about finding a team that understands your goals, communicates clearly, and brings technical excellence to the table.
Do your homework, compare options, and always trust your instincts.

CURRENT GAME LIST: CROSSROADS, VINYLMATION, WHERE'S MY WATER, PRINCESS PALACE PETS, PALCE PETS IN WHISKER HAVEN
INSTRUCTIONS BELOW
Disney Crossroads (Files sourced from APKPure; Developed by Hipster Whale) :
This game was actually developed by the same studio who made the original crossroads! Some figures are locked behind real-world QR codes. I've not looked very far into this, but I think QR codes are a one-time use kind of deal. But again, I've done almost no research into it, so feel free to do your own research. Some buttons in the settings just do not work. This is either an issue with old Google Play Services libraries or a server issue. When this game was still being supported, there was some form of account backups, but those obviously don't work anymore. Don't delete your app if you're attached to your data. Works with Android 14 .
Vinylmation; Create Your Own! (Files sourced from APKPure; unknown developer) :
Developed for Android 4.1 but still functional on 7.1.1, Vinylmation is frankly the weirdest game on this blog. I could find basically no information on this game, which, honestly, made it very hard to find when I was looking for it. This is a tie-in game for the disney collaboration with Vinylmation.
Where's my Mickey? (Files sourced from APKPure; Developed by Creative Feep) :
Developed for Android 5, runs as high as 7.1.1. About a third of the game is locked behind a paywall.
Princess Palace Pets (Files sourced from APKPure; Developed by 24 Bit Games) :
This game is in XAPK format. It's a flash game ported to mobile, by 24 Bit Games, I don't know if they were the original developer of flash game, they are just credited as the porter.
Palace Pets in Whisker Haven (Files sourced from APKPure; Developed by Sarbakan) :
This game is in the XAPK format. This game is a cheap combination of a ton of different characteristics of more popular games. Most notably, EAH Baby Dragons. It even uses the Budge Studios "Type These Numbers to Prove You're an Adult!" Security, which is honestly the worst thing to steal ever. Works on Android 8.

How to Choose a Cheap Application Development Company Without Sacrificing Quality
In today’s fast-paced digital world, having a mobile or web app is no longer a luxury—it's a necessity. But for startups, small businesses, and entrepreneurs, budget constraints often make it challenging to hire top-tier development agencies. That’s where a cheap application development company comes into play.
However, “cheap” shouldn’t mean poor quality. The key is to find a company that delivers solid results at a fair price. Here's how to do just that:
✅ 1. Define Your Requirements Clearly
Before approaching any developer, have a clear understanding of:
Your app’s core features
The platform (iOS, Android, Web)
Design preferences
Deadline and budget
When you know exactly what you want, it’s easier to avoid unnecessary costs and keep things on track.
✅ 2. Look for Companies That Specialize in MVPs
Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) are simplified versions of apps launched to test market response. Many cheap app development companies specialize in building MVPs quickly and affordably.
These teams focus on:
Speed
Essential features
Scalable architecture for future development
✅ 3. Check Their Portfolio and Case Studies
A low price is attractive, but past performance matters more.
Ask yourself:
Have they worked on similar apps?
Do they have industry-specific experience?
Can they provide client testimonials?
A reliable budget application development company will proudly showcase previous work, even if it’s for smaller projects.
✅ 4. Verify Their Technical Stack and Tools
Cheap doesn’t mean outdated. The best affordable developers use:
Cross-platform frameworks like Flutter or React Native
Open-source libraries to save time and cost
Agile methodology for faster iterations
Make sure they can deliver efficiency without cutting corners.
✅ 5. Ask About Post-Launch Support
Even budget-friendly companies should offer:
Bug fixing
App store deployment
Minor updates
If the company ghosts you after delivery, you could end up spending more in the long run.
✅ 6. Avoid Companies That Promise Too Much for Too Little
If a proposal seems too good to be true, it probably is. Watch out for:
Unrealistically low estimates
No clear project timeline
Vague communication
Instead, go for transparent pricing and milestone-based payments.
✅ 7. Compare Quotes—but Don’t Just Pick the Lowest
Request detailed proposals from at least 3 different companies. Evaluate:
Cost breakdown
Timeline
Technologies used
Communication methods
The cheapest quote isn’t always the best—look for overall value.
💡 Pro Tip: Consider Offshore Development
Many high-quality development firms in regions like India, Eastern Europe, and Southeast Asia offer top-tier services at affordable rates due to lower operating costs.
🚀 Final Thoughts
Choosing a cheap application development company doesn’t mean settling for less. With smart research, clear goals, and the right questions, you can find a partner that delivers great results on a lean budget.

Creating and developing your own app can be an extensive project. You need an accurate cost estimate to keep your budget on track. Mobile apps can range from simple one-screen apps to complex apps that integrate with smartphone cameras. Once you have an accurate cost estimate, you can decide if you will be able to add more features (or if you should eliminate them). The good news is there are helpful app build calculators that can assist with your estimates. Here are seven steps that go into your app build costs. But, let's start with app development considerations. Factors To Consider with Your App Development Your app development costs can range from about $10,000 to $500,000 for apps developed by U.S. based agencies. Standalone apps (offline) might run $10,000 while enterprise apps can run $500,000. However, developing an app with an offshore team might cost $5,000 for a standalone offline app and run up to $60,000 for enterprise mobile apps. Calculating app development costs have several competing factors that you need to consider before getting started. These will all affect the complexity and overall cost of the project which include: Researching User Behaviors and Demographics: Why will users want to use your app? What purpose does it have? Wireframes or Sketches: How will the app be used? What problems will users have with it? The Prototype: What does it look like on each screen? Design: What type of user experience (UX) will it offer users? Development: How will it function? Testing Stage: Is the app compatible on iOS and Android? What security does it use? Deployment: How soon can users purchase and download it? Marketing and PR: How will you optimize it and promote it? Security and Maintenance: How will you handle updates, bugs and app crashes? 1. What Platforms Will Your App Use? You might want your app on iOS, Android or both. Web applications (through Chrome or Safari) are cheap while a native app (iOS, Android) is more expensive. Other options include hybrids (cross-platform) and their costs vary. Selecting application architecture that has a local cache and includes syncing features for cross-devices can run $8,000 to $12,000. 2. What are the Requirements for Your App’s Design? Your app's design can take up 10 to 15 percent of your budget. The more complex the app, the more it will cost to develop. Your design requirements will include icons, copyrights and your brand’s messaging. You also have to consider the visual look of your app’s design and the UX.  3. How Detailed and Complex is Your App? A basic app might have a single or small number of pages. It may or may not store data and with simple functions, it’s easier to create and less expensive. Complex apps, on the other hand, have numerous features. Examples include data syncing, sign-in/out options and user registrations. These will take longer to develop. If third-parties are involved, that can increase your costs. User profiles can run about $2,400 while social media integrations can add on $500 per network. 4. What Features Will Your App Include? If you want your app to include integrations with social media or a geo-location service, this will cost more in development time. You might also want to include features like a user rating, in-app purchase or user profiles. Factors that can affect cost include features like portrait or landscape. Adding technical support for landscape mode can increase your budget by as much as 30 percent.  5. What Type of Security and Maintenance Will You Include? With maintenance, how will you solve crashes, bugs and tech support problems? How will you handle your software updates? It’s one of the reasons some app creators work with development agencies who can help them with future maintenance for their apps. Set aside about 10 percent of your budget for app maintenance. 6. Will You Select a Design or Development Agency or Outsource? When you start pitching your app idea to agencies, talk to several.
The early estimates you receive might not be the final costs you pay. You’ll likely make several changes and add or remove features. Design and development agencies will have packages they offer but don’t be afraid to ask for custom services if it will help to lower your costs. Consider the agencies that let you start with a prototype first before development (you’ll save more money). Lastly, look for agencies that help after deployment. You need to allocate money for marketing as well as updates.  7. Who Will Handle Your Project Management? Your project management costs will run about 10 to 15 percent of your total costs. Your project manager handles UX, account management and clients. They're responsible for concept and design, business analysis and quality assurance. Interview several project managers and select the most reputable. Bottom Line The type of app you’re creating and its functionality can affect your budget and app build estimate. Talk to different design and development agencies. And, don’t be afraid to outsource if it means you’ll get the features you want (but only with reputable agencies and confirm their references). Your app scope might change several times but that’s part of the development process. However, ensure you have all estimates and key performance indicators (KPIs) in writing so there are no hidden charges and everyone does their part.

How to Pick the Perfect Mobile App Development Company
Hey Tumblr fam, let’s talk about something real: turning your app idea into a living, breathing digital masterpiece. Maybe you’ve got a killer concept—something that could rival TikTok or make budgeting less of a snooze-fest. But here’s the catch: you need the right mobile app development company to bring it to life. Picking the wrong one? That’s a fast track to wasted time, drained savings, and a half-baked app that nobody downloads.
I’ve been there—dreaming big, scrolling endlessly, and wondering, “How do I even start choosing the best app development services?” Spoiler: it’s less about tech jargon and more about finding a team that gets you. So, grab your coffee (or tea, no judgment), and let’s break this down, human-to-human. Here’s your guide to hiring mobile app developers who won’t leave you ghosted—or broke.
Step 1: Know What You Want (Even If It’s Vague)
Before you Google “top mobile app development companies near me,” pause. What’s your app about? Is it a game-changer for small businesses? A fitness tracker with sass? Or just something to make your friends laugh? You don’t need a 50-page plan, but a rough idea helps. Think:
Purpose: What problem does it solve?
Audience: Who’s downloading this? Teens? Busy moms? Tech geeks?
Budget: Ballpark it—$5K? $50K?
Pro tip: Jot this down. It’s your North Star when app developers start throwing buzzwords like “Flutter” or “React Native” at you. A clear vision keeps you grounded.
Step 2: Hunt for App Developers Who Speak Your Language
Not every mobile app development firm is a match. Some are corporate robots; others are chill startups. You want a vibe check. Here’s how to find your people:
Portfolio Peek: Check their past work. Built an e-commerce app? A social platform? If they’ve nailed something close to your idea, they’re in the running.
Reviews & Real Talk: Dig into client testimonials—Google, Clutch, or even Reddit threads. Did they deliver on time? Were they cool to work with?
Communication Style: Email them a quick “hey, I’ve got an idea—can we chat?” If they reply like humans (not auto-bots) and ask smart questions, that’s a green flag.
Semantic tip: Look for “reliable app development services” or “trusted mobile app developers” in reviews—it’s a sign they’re not just coding cowboys.
Step 3: Tech Skills Matter (But Don’t Obsess)
Okay, let’s get a little nerdy. The best app development companies know their stuff—iOS, Android, cross-platform, you name it. But unless you’re a coder, don’t sweat the details. Focus on:
Experience: Have they built apps for your industry (e.g., healthcare, gaming)?
Tools: Do they use modern frameworks like Swift, Kotlin, or something scalable?
Future-Proofing: Can they update your app when iOS 19 or Android 15 drops?
Long-tail bonus: Search “hire mobile app developers with cross-platform expertise” to find versatile teams. You want pros who can flex, not flop.
Step 4: Budget Without Breaking the Bank
Money talks, right? Mobile app development costs vary wildly—$10K for a simple app, $100K+ for the next big thing. Here’s the trick:
Get Quotes: Ask 3-5 companies for estimates. Compare apples to apples (features, timeline, support).
Value Over Cheap: The lowest bid might mean buggy code or zero support. Look for “affordable app development services” that don’t skimp on quality.
Payment Plans: Some firms offer milestones (pay as they build). It’s less scary than dropping a lump sum.
Real story: My friend went with a dirt-cheap developer. Six months later? App crashed, dev vanished. Pay for peace of mind.
Step 5: Test Their Team Spirit
A great app isn’t just code—it’s collaboration. The best mobile app development companies treat you like a partner, not a paycheck. Ask:
Who’s on Deck?: Designers, coders, testers—do they have a full squad?
Updates: Will they keep you in the loop with demos or progress chats?
Support: Post-launch, will they fix bugs or help with updates?
Semantic vibe: “choosing a mobile app development firm with strong teamwork” is a hidden gem. Solo freelancers might flake; a solid crew sticks around.
Step 6: Gut Check + Contract
Found a contender? Trust your instincts. If they feel shady—pushy sales, vague answers—run. Then:
Sign Smart: Get a contract. Scope, timeline, costs—lock it in.
Ask Dumb Questions: “What if I hate it?” or “What’s the refund vibe?” Good devs won’t blink.
Tumblr truth: Your gut’s smarter than you think. Pair it with a paper trail, and you’re golden.
Why This Matters
Your app’s your baby. Handing it to the wrong mobile app development company is like trusting a stranger with your diary. Pick a team that’s skilled, real, and ready to roll with your quirks. The world’s waiting—don’t let a bad choice hold you back.
So, where you at with your app idea? Drop it in the replies—I’m all ears! And if you’ve got dev horror stories (or wins), spill the tea. Let’s vibe about this.

LG’s new Gram laptops include Arrow Lake, new AI features
LG has rolled out its Gram laptop lineup in advance of CES 2025, confirming Intel’s debut of the Arrow Lake platform in laptops and offering a mix of AI software that can run either locally or in the cloud.
LG disclosed two versions of the LG Gram Pro (the 17Z90TR and 16Z90TS), as well as the LG gram Pro 2-in-1. LG is adding a new entry to its lineup as well: the Gram Book, an entry-level lightweight PC with a 1080p display and a cheaper price tag to boot. However, LG isn’t saying what that price tag will be, or when these new devices will ship.
LG’s two new Gram Pros offer the choice of either integrated or discrete graphics. In a press release, LG said that the 17Z90TR will offer an Nvidia RTX 4050 alongside Intel’s Arrow Lake mobile processor. After launching on the desktop with mixed reviews, Arrow Lake should debut in laptops from LG and others at CES 2025. Since Arrow Lake (like Lunar Lake before it) emphasized lower power, it may find a more welcoming home within laptops as the latest Core Ultra chip.
So far, however, LG hasn’t announced plans for Nvidia’s Blackwell chip, the GeForce 5000 GPU that is expected to debut in desktops and perhaps notebooks as well.
Not all of LG’s laptops include Arrow Lake, however, though the company’s skimpy specification don’t indicate which ones. The remainder will use Intel’s older “Lunar Lake” chips instead, with their more powerful AI TOPS specification. (None of the new laptops use processors from AMD or Qualcomm.)
Lunar Lake’s AI horsepower will enable two versions of what LG calls “LG Gram AI,” specifically “LG Gram chat.” LG Gram chat On-Device runs locally on the PC without a network connection to preserve the privacy of the user, using a small language model that LG developed as an offshoot of its own EXAONE LLM. (LG didn’t release details of the LG gram chat’s parameters.) “Notable features include Time Travel, allowing users to quickly and easily revisit web pages, documents, videos and audio files,” LG said.
LG chat Cloud does require an Internet connection. LG’s cloud model is built upon GPT-4o, one of the latest GPT models, but will require an undisclosed subscription payment to use. (The first year is free.) The service will provide “detailed and comprehensive responses” to a user’s questions, with the advantage that they will connect with the user’s calendar and email services, too. It sounds like you’ll have to give LG permission to integrate your Outlook or Gmail email, however.
LG’s new gram laptops: specs and features
Otherwise, LG’s new Grams don’t appear to offer too much differentiation from other notebooks at CES. In fact, they’re a bit on the heavy side, with only the simpler Pro model weighing less than 2.73 pounds. The cheap new Book offering, though with a 15.6-inch 1080p LCD display, weighs a rather chunky 3.74 pounds with only a 51Wh battery.
Fortunately, the other gram models include premium displays, up to 2560×1600 on both Gram Pro models, with an 1800p OLED option offered on the Pro 2-in-1. Memory and storage options are offered up to 32GB on the three Pro offerings, with up to 2TB of storage.
All of the laptops support an upgraded version of “Gram Link,” which sounds like a branded version of Intel’s Unison app for sharing content across Android phones and laptops.

The Benefits of Hiring Ionic Developers for Your App
Tumblr media
In the changing digital space, businesses have to keep up with these new technologies emerging at their ends to sustain themselves. One such emerging technology is Ionic, a highly powerful framework to build scalable and high-performance mobile applications. Versatile apps with Ionic developers would cater to the needs of many platforms, allowing for a smooth user experience. This. This blog post looks at the advantages of hiring Ionic developers and how they can be aptly added to your business's success.
The Power of Ionic Framework
It is an open-source framework which lets one build rich mobile applications with the use of standard web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It offers one access to a huge library of pre-built components, tools, and resources that make it pretty easy to build strong and scalable apps. Wikipedia says it has drawn wide acceptance due to its flexibility and robustness so for businesses who wish to create a cross-platform application, it comes out on top.
Benefits of Hiring Ionic Developers
Cheap Development: It is said that development using the Ionic developers is cheap development. Ionic developers write the same code and develop an application on the multiplicity of platforms, which means to develop an application, groups for both iOS and Android need to be separately developed, thus in that manner, the process gets overall smoothing.
Time to Market: With the availability of the pre-built UI components and tools using Ionic, development time will be reduced as much as possible. This implies that businesses will have the opportunity to release their applications much sooner, thus not letting competitors ahead and satisfying the demands of the market in the most prompt way.
Scalability and Performance: Scalable applications developed by developers that work on many devices and platforms with the highest stability. Its architectural design gives optimal performance while meeting the increase in user traffic of your application.
Consistent User Experience: This is the retention and attraction of users. Unified code in Ionic makes sure that your application looks and works similarly on all platforms, hence giving the users an uncomplicated experience.
Access to Native Features: An Ionic developer can have access to the native device features like camera, GPS, and push notifications that can be included in your application to enhance the overall functionality and user experience of your application.
Why Hire Ionic Developers?
Experience, expertise, and reliability should top the priority list for hiring Ionic developers. Below are a few takeaways:
Technical Skills: The Ionic developer should have awareness about web technologies in terms of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with Angular or React will be helpful, to the extent that these are more widely used with Ionic.
Portfolio and Experience: A developer's portfolio speaks for a developer's skills and what has been accomplished in the work done. Look for developers having experience on scalable and performance-intensive applications using the Ionic framework.
Client Testimonials: Testimonials from clients and reviews regarding the developer can provide valuable feedback on a developer's work ethic and reliability. Positive testimonies prove that a developer delivered quality work.
Communication Skills: Communication is the key to successful collaboration. Ensure that the developer can understand your requirements very well and that he provides regular updates during the development process.
With Expert ionic App Developers, problem-solving skills are developed in an unorthodox way. Great problem-solving skills are expected from developers when handling complexities and coming up with innovative solutions that actually satisfy your business goals.
