Tumblr media
Marcus is a self-proclaimed "lover not a fighter". He's known to be very friendly and approachable, with a significant portion of the Formula 2 grid mentioning that he was the driver they got on with best in the paddock during his time there. His results in F2 were mixed, moving teams in 3 successive years, as he sometimes had difficulty getting to grips with the F2 car and tyres, however it’s generally agreed that his midfield championship positions during his F2 tenure aren’t an accurate reflection of his genuine ability and talent. Multiple Ganassi team members (including the boss) have commented on how impressed they are by his raw speed, work ethic, and attitude since his arrival in IndyCar. Marcus himself has already talked about how much more enjoyable the Indy car is to drive and how much fun he’s having now after several years of struggling with the notoriously difficult F2 car. He also appears to be getting on well with his CGR teammates and in particular has talked about how much he likes Marcus Ericsson.
He moved to London in early 2022 after spending several years living near Ferrari’s HQ in Maranello, Italy, and is known to enjoy city nightlife, being a big fan of wine. He’s a major foodie who likes taking photos of good food almost as much as he enjoys complaining about bad food. He is known to be determined to the point of stubbornness, causing himself permanent damage to his knee during a half-marathon due to refusing to stop when he was in pain. He had a low attendance record at school due to focusing on his racing career and moving to Europe at the age of 14, and as such, although he’s not unintelligent he’s known to be somewhat lacking in general knowledge (such as thinking Shakespeare’s first name was Michael). However, he has the characteristically Kiwi dry, sarcastic sense of humor and very much enjoys mutual teasing and banter with his close friends, something that’s often on display in the Screaming Meals podcasts.
Tumblr media
Fanfic Lore
Usually paired with Callum Ilott, or F2 driver Clement Novalak due to their extremely close and physically affectionate friendship - was Clem’s teammate during their karting days, and has said that they talk every day while he’s in the US Likes to tease Callum and wind him up to his face, but often calls him his best mate and praises him when he’s not around. However Callum rarely (if ever) reciprocates the latter, probably due to his intense Britishness Good friends with multiple drivers from various series, including Juan Manuel Correa, Jüri Vips, Guanyu Zhou, Nick Cassidy, Max Fewtrell and Felipe Drugovich Also has a tendency to “adopt” younger drivers and refer to them as “little bro”, including Jak Crawford and Dino Beganovic Has said on several occasions that he doesn’t wear underwear, and also shaves his legs (and possibly elsewhere, having claimed that he is “hairless from the eyebrows down”) Claims he can’t tell the difference between someone being nice to him and someone flirting with him

The unusual way comedian EJ Mann came out to her family

The unusual way comedian EJ Mann came out to her family
Tumblr media
EJ Mann shares how venturing into stand-up comedy led to unexpectedly coming out.
There is nothing like the laughter of 100 people in a packed-out comedy club. Your first time on stage feels a bit like watching your first drag show – overstimulating, loud, but one hell of a thrill.
This gig was about to force me out of the closet I’d been cowering in for most of my adult life.  Comedy wasn’t even my choice; my very secret girlfriend enrolled me in a stand-up course for a laugh in 2022.
As she’d already paid, I reluctantly agreed and performed my first set, complete with a song about my local community Facebook page.
I sung about dog parks discriminating against cats, about the argumentative guy with an ankle monitor at the local pub, and my confidence onstage grew with every laugh. This marked the beginning of a bizarre journey towards building a career in comedy and coming out.

Dad was my biggest supporter, listening to my gig highlights over the phone on the late drives home.
He’d ask when my next gig was and I’d lie and say I hadn’t pencilled in any future shows.
My comedy came from my real-life experiences as a woman in her first lesbian relationship, and as far as Dad knew, I was straight as Brisbane’s Expo 88 Skyneedle. I tackled comedy much like I tackled my first lesbian relationship; with all guns blazing.
My fourth-ever show was the first heat of Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s RAW Competition, where I won a ticket straight to the Queensland semi-finals. Dad called and asked if he’d be invited to the semis. It was time.
Coming out to strangers
This wouldn’t be the first occasion I’d have to come out in the process of performing comedy. First, it was to the strangers in the audience, but they didn’t know me and there were no real consequences. My work colleagues came next.
Perhaps out of hunger, I let slip in the lunchroom that I was trying my hand at stand-up, and my sleuthy coworkers found out where I was performing and booked tickets.
I came out to them before the show and they hugged me, telling me they were excited to know the real me.

Family reaction
Armed with the confidence to finally come out, I cornered my family in the kitchen following a weekend BBQ and told them that I had broken up with my ex-boyfriend. “EJ, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that out,” Dad said.
I told Dad I had been dating a girl for over a year and he repeated that, “It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that out” and asked if I wanted tea or coffee.
Dad never was much of a talker, and we made coffee to drink in front of the TV in comfortable silence.  There’s a lot more to that story, including a big, lesbian wedding, an escort, and countless unpaid comedy gigs in the middle of nowhere, to rural crowds that make you realise homophobia is still alive and kicking. I’m about to tell the story in the form of my debut show MAGPIE, to Kiwi crowds in Christchurch this October – and planning to bring the show back to Australia by early 2025. Watch this space.

Earthbound (2/?)
Alan and John make it to Christchurch and Alan is frequently insensitive because he’s young and still learning. John’s not really making it any easier for him either.
Read Previous: [1]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It had been easier than Alan had expected, convincing John that the best thing he could do was catch a plane to Christchurch. He’d seemed almost pathetically relieved at the suggestion, moving to pack with a sudden and familiar determination that made Alan certain of his decision. He didn’t ask questions about their destination but turned up an hour later with a suitcase and backpack ready to go. Virgil volunteered to drop them in Christchurch and so Alan settled next to him in the co-pilot seat of Tracy Two ready for the three hour flight south.
“Does he know where you’re going yet?” Virgil asked softly, glancing over his shoulder at John who was staring out the window.
“I haven’t told him,” admitted Alan. He shifted in his seat. “Do you think he’ll be okay?”
“John?” asked Virgil. “He’ll be fine. You’ll keep him safe, and for what it’s worth, I think you’re right, he needed to get off the island.”
“Has he talked to you about what happened?”
Virgil grimaced. “He tried. I don’t think he has the words yet.”
“It’s weird, isn’t it?” said Alan, glancing back at him. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen him this unsettled.”
“Grief does strange things to a person,” said Virgil.
“How can he be grieving?” asked Alan, looking young and confused. “It’s not like anyone died.”
“Grief’s not just something that happens when people die, Alan,” said Virgil quietly. “Any extreme loss can require a grieving process. A relationship, an injury, a dream. It’s hard to move on from those sorts of things.”
“Oh,” said Alan, suddenly feeling panic bubbling up within him. “Virgil, I don’t know if I should be the one to take him. I don’t know how to help him or anything. I don’t think I know how to talk to him anymore. I didn’t even know that about grief, what good am I gonna do?”
“Hey, hey,” said Virgil, reaching out a hand to clasp his shoulder. “You’ve got this. You know John just as much as the rest of us, maybe even better. You’re the one who could see he needed help, you’re the one who figured out what to do about it, and you’re the one he’s listening to right now. We trust you, and more importantly, so does John. Just give him a chance.”
“Maybe,” said Alan, still feeling uncertain. “I just wish he felt more like John right now.”
Virgil gave him a tired smile. “Let me know if you need any advice. Or just to talk if it gets too much. You gotta look after yourself as well kiddo.”
He jerked his head back towards the cabin where John was still staring absently out the window. “Go check on him now, I’ve got to start landing procedures.”
Alan nodded, leaving the cockpit and carefully sliding the door shut behind him. He sat opposite John and cleared his throat.
John smiled faintly at him.
“So how’s it going?” Alan asked, instantly cursing himself for not having better words.
“Fine,” said John. He shifted in his seat slightly to get a better look at his brother. “Where are we going?”
“Mackenzie Country,” said Alan. He swallowed nervously as he eyed John, knowing he would recognise the significance of those words.
“The dark sky reserve?” John asked neutrally.
Alan nodded. There was an angry flash in his brother’s eyes.
“Did Scott put you up to this?” he asked, his voice suddenly low and hard.
“No, no,” said Alan quickly. “No, I chose it, I asked to take you.”
“Oh,” said John, slumping back in his seat, the fire dying away immediately.
“We can go somewhere else.”
“No,” said John. “It’s fine.”
Alan gave him a weak smile. He’d wondered if he was pushing his luck to book a private cabin on the shores of Lake Tekapo, the trip being one they’d planned together when he was still a child and John still in love with his stars.
There were memories tied to this place they’d never visited, memories he could see springing back to the forefront of his brother’s mind.
“Seatbelts on, guys,” called Virgil’s voice through the comms.
John reached out and laid a hand on Alan’s wrist. “I’m sorry.”
Alan looked at his brother, feeling tongue tied and awkward in a way he never had before, and said nothing.
---
“This is it?” asked John in disbelief, staring at the garish rental van Alan had picked.
“Isn’t it perfect?” gushed Alan, twirling the keys excitedly as he spoke.
“This can’t be it,” said John, staring at the bright orange van. “You’re not serious.”
“It’s your favourite colour,” exclaimed Alan happily. “And look.”
John looked and paled as he saw the word printed on the side of the van.
“Spaceships?” he said in a strangled voice. “Really?”
“Don’t worry, I’ll drive,” said Alan. He shot John a cheeky grin. “I know it’s been a while since you’ve piloted a real rocket after all.”
John’s lips twitched and Alan felt his spirits lift with the knowledge that he still knew how to make his brother laugh.
“Okay, fine,” said John, shaking his head. “This is the most ridiculous van I’ve ever seen, but as long as it runs.”
“And it’s not like we’ll lose it,” joked Alan, as he threw their bags in the back.
“There’s an actual stove in there,” said John in confusion.
“Did I not tell you we were freedom camping?”
“We’re not,” said John. “I’ll call Virgil back, I’m not sleeping in a van.”
“You’ve slept outside before, what’s the difference?”
“I have dignity.”
Alan turned the key and grinned as the van hummed, the engine springing to life.
“She looks older than she is,” he assured John. “Come on, it’ll be fun!”
“If you say so,” muttered John, shaking his head as he climbed into the seat next to Alan.
Alan deflated at the statement. He knew John didn’t mean to sound dismissive but his attitude made Alan worry that he had misjudged his brother’s ability to go through with the trip, despite his earlier insistence that he would just fine.
They drove towards the exit, making a few extra loops along the way before pulling out into the busy roundabout.
“We’re not actually camping, don’t worry,” he told John, still feeling awkward. It was hard to tell if John had worked out he had been joking.
John grunted and Alan looked around him desperately, trying to find some way of making conversation.
“Antarctic Centre?” He wondered out loud as they passed the brown sign. “We’re not that far south.”
“Christchurch is where a lot of the international expeditions to the Antarctic depart from,” said John absently. Alan relaxed at the sound, knowing his brother had moved on from his earlier mood.
“Did you want to go?” John asked, looking at Alan curiously.
“Maybe on the way back,” said Alan. “It’s a three hour drive and Bran’s told me a place to stop for lunch.”
“Three hours?” said John, with a slight smile. “That’s nothing.”
“Yeah, after all those cruises in space?” said Alan, grinning at his brother. “It’s just a Sunday drive.”
It was an old joke, one they often shared with a nudge and an eyeroll whenever Scott complained about Tracy Two being so much slower than Thunderbird One.
“Try a road trip to the Sun next time.” John knew his part well, his mouth opening automatically in response. Alan could see the exact moment where he registered the words, the way he physically reeled back as if that would help him escape his thoughts.
It was as though a shutter had been pulled across his mind, one that left John frozen. Alan leaned over and roughly shook his brother. He didn’t dare look over at John for too long, conscious that he was both driving and terrified to see the unresponsive expression on John’s face. He’d seen his brother in many lights; elated, apprehensive, challenged, competitive, anxious. Not once had he seen his brother scared for his life.
“John?” he called, sharply. “John, you with me?”
There was no reply. Alan swore and jerked the steering wheel to the left, quickly pulling over and ignoring the annoyed beeping from the cars that swerved around him.
“Damn it, John, I do not want to go crawling back to Scott on day one, get it together.”
He was getting angry at the lack of response, furious at this stranger who had come and taken his brother’s place. He’d always known where he stood with John, he was a steady undercurrent in their family’s ocean and it wasn’t fair that their relationship had been torn away from him.
“What’s wrong with you?” he demanded. “Are you even trying to get back up there? Or are you just wasting everyone’s time?”
John sagged in his seat and Alan was vindictively satisfied at the way he had jolted him from his memories, knowing it was more than anyone else had ever managed.
His shoulders and hands were shaking. Alan faltered as the sound of sharp, wet inhalations filled the van.
“You don’t know a thing,” John whispered hoarsely. “I thought you might understand but I should have known.”
He could see the tears now, tears that streamed down John’s cheeks. He made no move to wipe them away, his face contorted more by rage than despair.
Alan realised he had put his foot in it, the impact of his rash words settling around him and leaving stains of guilt in their wake.
“Let’s get this over with,” spat his brother. “Just go.”

It is a roll over and go back to sleep kind of Sunday at my place in Christchurch NZ. It is dismal and cold the temperature has rocketed up to 4ºC in the last hour. Breakfast by the fire is definitely happening this morning with a super sized coffee.

Day 15. February 13, 2020. Franz Josef to Rangiora via Arthur's Pass. 420km.
Woke up a little foggy. Oh yeah, the weather was too. The open mike singers at Snakebite brewery had one or two excellent voices I really enjoyed and I may have had too much beer... 🍻 But at least the motel was just around the corner and morning came too quickly. One item I am not sure I have mentioned regards the usage of the maps.me app. This app allows for an easy way to use your phone GPS anywhere. The phone always known where it is, but if in an area where there is no cell signal/data or if I am not using my cellular data due to cost/choice the phone is unable to draw/show maps on Waze, Google, etc. Maps.me allows you to download countries or regions so that you can always navigate and see where you are. I utilize the red pin drop and save features to create a track of the places I have ridden on longer journeys such as these. It is helpful to have this data to assist in retracing steps (combined with the metadata embedded in the iPhone pictures). Since I'm waxing technically, how about the freaky similarity in the land area of both Georgia and NZ's South Island. The state of Georgia exceeds the size of the South Island by about 1,000 sq. miles at over 59,000 but basically they're the same size. I couldn't really have imagined spending 3 weeks + exploring Georgia but the terrain here is almost nauseatingly scenic. Most of South and central GA isn't that exciting to ride. North Georgia would certainly provide a visitor interesting riding for a week or maybe a bit longer. Enough stuff unrelated to this day. The forecast had used the word dreary and there was a low shroud of clouds hugging the mountain ridges. A few stray drops dotted the visor as I aimed again northward toward Arthur's Pass. Shaking out the cobwebs I commented to Ted via our Sena Bluetooth communicators that even in the low shroud hiding most of the dramatic peaks, the riding has been pretty much nonstop scenic. Fern forests and sheer rocks where the road has been cut that are covered in ferns. Growing in everything crack and crevice. In fact, saw one of those mowers attached to a tractor on a hydraulic arm that was trimming the ferns today. When the scenery then changed as you wind in between scenic preserves (all named) the transition to farmland is met with seeded flowers creating a welcome mat to the berm of the road most places. Kind of like how North Carolina and zone places in Georgia plant areas of wildflowers in the median strips but this is done on both sides of the road creating a natural orange beauty line highlighting the roads. Came upon a Yamaha and a new Triumph Rocket 3 R at a construction stop light where we crammed our way to the front of the line. We followed them for a while as we wound up some tight turns. That R3 looks great! He had a nice looking Triumph bag strapped on the pillion. We actually passed them after a while. 🤷‍♂️ After meandering for a bit we opted to pull in to Ross (gold mining town) for some needed sustenance. A cappuccino and French toast garnished with grilled banana and bacon hit the spot. We were about 2' too late as a crowd of Aussie bikers from outside Brisbane was just loading in ahead of us. No spring chickens they, yet they were largely off road and headed on the fantastic network of NZ biking and hiking trails all the way to Greymouth. (Which was 66 km on the road so more for them). Good on you, bikers! 🇦🇺
Next we headed inland to cross the Southern Alps again as we had done yesterday this time back to the east via Arthur's Pass. First a 40km detour north to Greymouth since the GPS showed no fuel ahead on the pass. We headed up the pass and as is usual the windiness and elevation both increase significantly. This isn't a terribly high pass at just over 3,000 feet but snow fields and lots of runoff debris fields are revealed as we ascend. We see an unusual hotel and pull into "New Zealand's most interesting hotel", the Otira hotel. You can zoom in on the pic and see some of the depths the proprietors have gone to in order to make this place unique. There are so many curios and antiques strewn about the rooms, it oozes history. See Gollum dangling his "precious" perched on the roof's edge? Fed a couple leftover chips to the pig penned up down by Gandolph's garage. 🐖 Had the "famous" whitebait fish sandwich. Some sort of pressed pan fried whitefish on toasted bread. Pretty good! The Kiwi train rolls all along the pass somehow disappearing under the peak in a feat of underground tunneling. It came by configured for freight and stopped by the hotel for a while. Ted was supposed to ride the passenger version on the same line a year ago however the western highway we had just ridden was washed out so they couldn't make it. Imagine that! 🌧 🌧 After lunch we passed by an Italian style viaduct, open on the side away from the hill immediately followed by a waterfall which had been diverted to flow over the road on the concrete roof constructed as a water slide to launch the flow harmlessly away from the road. One last very long bridge brings you to a corner just shy of the peak which is scarily named Deaths Corner but offers a road up to a dramatic lookout. Seen there was a blacked out Road Glide with those angled mini apes that looks good. The guy is in full leathers, I think some sort of group (OK maybe gang) and he asked about my Klim gear. If I had brought it from home? He said it was good stuff and I agree! We came down the pass and there were plenty of sharp turns. 35 and 25kph suggested limits for hairpins and came by a number of ski resorts. Being on the Christchurch side of the pass these are more accessible to the population center of the South Island. As the descent continues we turn on the scenic inland route not far from where we started on our ride out of CHC two weeks ago. In fact our resting place this evening is really a suburb of CHC. We pass the now familiar trimmed hedge walls, checkered farmland and sheep. We zig zagged a couple of times thinking the GPS had it wrong but soon we pull into the well kept Riverstone Motel. First place the whole trip that had A/C (air con here) and oh my I sure enjoyed that. Mike the proprietor was helpful and off we went to town about 2.5 clicks away after a shower and change. Most of the restaurants were closed for some unknown reason. We opted for a Chinese place that was good and notable in that fried rice was ordered because no rice came with the dishes ordered, but the fried rice was so loaded with meat and chicken that there wasn't much rice! Back to the bar adjacent to the motel for a nightcap and then a much needed rest. Trip is going off without a hitch really, good fortune has smiled on us to date. 😴

The great thing about Tumblr is that nobody gives a shit about what I do here so I can say this
I want to let go and move on after hearing about the terrorist attack in Christchurch, New Zealand, but I can't. I keep reading the news and it makes my body shiver with fury.
Are we not humans to you, Western world?
Do we not deserve FUCKING BASIC RIGHTS TO PRACTICE OUR RELIGION IN PEACE????
A WHITE MALE WORRYING ABOUT THE FUTURE OF WHITE CHILDREN. SERIOUSLY??? YOUR CHILDREN WILL BE FINE. WE'RE NOT THE INVADERS. YOU ARE.
YOU ARE.
YOU WANNA TALK ABOUT SLAVERY?? MY FOREFATHERS WERE TREATED LIKE SAVAGES, DENIED BASIC NECESSITIES, MADE INTO LOWER-CLASS CITIZENS, FORCED TO WORK WITHOUT FOOD AND WATER FOR DAYS ON END IN THEIR OWN GODDAMN MOTHERLAND. BY THE FUCKING DUTCH.
YOU AND YOUR WHITE CHILDREN WILL BE FINE BECAUSE WHITE PEOPLE ALREADY HAVE ENOUGH PRIVILEGE TO LAST FOR CENTURIES. SO MUCH, THAT YOU FUCKERS CAN'T SEEM TO GET YOUR FUCKING HEADS OUT OF YOUR ASSHOLES.
AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON "WHITE GENOCIDE". IF YOU'RE SO AFRAID OF GETTING EXTINCT, THEN FUCKING PROCREATE. IT'S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE.
I DON'T GET WHY WHITE PEOPLE LIKE THESE PIECES OF SHIT WANT TO BE THE VICTIM SO MUCH. BE GRATEFUL FOR ONCE YOU INSUFFERABLE MORONS.
PEOPLE ONLY GIVE A SHIT ABOUT MUSLIMS WHEN THEY'RE DEAD. THE DAY THE WESTERN WORLD SUPPORTS LIVING AND BREATHING MUSLIMS IS THE DAY THEY LOWER ME TO MY GRAVE TO MEET MUNKAR AND NAKIR.
TO THOSE SAYING THAT WE DESERVED THIS BECAUSE MUSLIMS KILLED A BUNCH OF PEOPLE BEFORE: WE. ARE. NOT. TERRORISTS. TERRORISM KNOWS NO RELIGION. I'M SICK OF YOU ALL ACTING LIKE YOU KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT ISLAM. YOU'RE A SHITHEAD IF YOU THINK ALL MUSLIMS ARE TERRORISTS.
I'm going to stop here before I offend more people but tbh it's worth it.

No matter where I travel on Earth, a New Yorker is usually one of the first people I bump into. Antarctica was no exception. The 109th Airlift Wing (109 AW) is a unit of the New York Air National Guard, stationed at Stratton Air National Guard Base, Schenectady, New York. The primary mission of the wing is to provide airlift support for the scientific community in Antarctica (and the Arctic) by transporting cargo and personnel from McMurdo Station to field stations and camps, including the South Pole Station. They operate the Lockheed LC-130, a ski-equipped USAF variant of the C-130 Hercules. The 109th Airlift Wing is the only unit in the world to fly these aircraft, and they currently have 10 of them in service. The aircraft are equipped with retractable skis that allow the aircraft to land on snow and ice as well as on conventional runways. The aircraft have provisions for using jet-assisted-takeoff (JATO) rockets, four on each side of the aircraft, that are installed and used when the LC-130 operates from rough, unprepared snow surfaces, sticky snow or when shorter takeoff runs are needed. On October 15th, 1999, despite the risks inherent to flying in such cold weather, the 109th AW aided in the daring winter-time rescue of Dr. Jerri Nielsen, a doctor with breast cancer symptoms and based at isolated Amundsen–Scott South Pole Station in Antarctica. The 109th maintains an operating location at Christchurch and at Williams Field, on the Ross Ice Shelf, Antarctica. Williams Field, pictured here, consists of two hard-packed snow runways located on approximately 25 ft of compacted snow, lying on top of 262 ft of ice, floating over 1,800 ft of water. As someone who went to the University at Buffalo, NY, seeing these guardsmen and women from Western NY wearing their Buffalo Bills gear in the McMurdo galley was a small reminder of home and very comforting during my deployment. Wallabies 47-26 All Blacks, Rugby Championship – as it happened
Injuries have restricted both players from accruing much playing get older at every one of this year, but they are the adjoining two most experienced props together along as accurately as Tu'ungafasi, Moody and Laulala, which might be a valued Wallabies vs All Blacks asset in a squad that is likely to feature frightful quantity of put it on faces in the motion in hand pack.
Tumblr media
Tu'inukuafe made his compensation from an ankle assertion-calling for the Blues in Christchurch concerning the topic of Saturday, even though Ta'avao told Stuff last month that he was aiming to guide along bearing in mind from a nasty leg outrage for the Chiefs this weekend closely the Highlanders.
How both players fare upon top of the coming weeks will be keenly followed by Foster, who will put-on flames occurring to save live the hole left by Moli's revulsion-enforced absence and Owen Franks' defection to Northampton Saints.
It's relatively more handy in the center of the front disagreement, where Codie Taylor and Dane Coles continue to reign sealed in New Zealand's hooker stocks.
It will be the third-peculiar rake that provides the most intrigue, even even even even even even while.
Highlanders veteran Liam Coltman was chosen to understand possession of that role at the World Cup, but his wayward lineout throwing has become an ever-carrying out adjust the subject of for Aaron Mauger's side, costing him his place in the starting lineup.
Blues dwindling rower Dalton Papalii has come on in leaps and bounds this season to surpass the insult-prone Luke Jacobson in the pecking order, as has Akira Ioane, who has to be highly praised for amending the deficiencies that kept him out of national teams in the toting up.
The All Blacks halfbacks pick themselves, once Aaron Smith proficiently certain of the chasing pack that is headed by TJ Perenara.
Despite the Chiefs' downward spiral in the domestic competition, Brad Weber is at sudden odds to be beached on his place as the third-unconventional No. 9, although the likes of Bryn Hall, Mitchell Drummond and Sam Nock aren't likely to go the length of without a scuffle.
Factor in the dead-set inclusions of Jack Goodhue and Anton Lienert-Brown, along taking into consideration the tantalising Braydon Ennor, and it could be a second year of bad luck for Ngani Laumape, whose one-dimensional relationships to the game could cost him a national recall.Still, though, the former NRL wing's attainment to bowl in the estrange and expansive-off along than defenders and bust through defensive lines as was seen in rival to the Highlanders upon Sunday can't be overlooked, and could even deed as a mitigation of difference adjoining to the association contenders.
Even backing Ioane's liven happening into the midfield, the make-going on of the outside backs will probably be the most far-off afield ahead area of the squad to narrow investigative of, when for that defense many options at Foster's disposal.
The scenario effectively boils down to dropping two of the associated to players: George Bridge, Sevu Reece, Jordie Barrett, Damian McKenzie, Will Jordan, David Havili, Caleb Clarke and Mark Telea.
All eight have played starring roles for their respective sides this year, but it's likely no following anew six players will be picked in this approach.
Therefore, two of those names have to go, and then it visceral every probable Barrett, McKenzie, Reece and Bridge will arrangement their places in the All Blacks squad, it leaves Jordan, Havili, Clarke and Telea to duke it out for two or maybe even one spot.
Based upon form alone, it would be shock of outrageous proportions to see Jordan excluded pure how influential he has been for the Crusaders.
That could spell the accretion less of Havili's selection chances immovable idea the presence of fouradditional players the Barrett brothers, McKenzie and Jordan who can lid fullback.
Given that he has led the attainment in a defensive mindset shift that has rocketed the Blues from cellar-dwellers to true title https://wallabiesvsallblackslive.co.nz threats, it's fair to assertion, gone, that loosehead prop Hodgman could be a dark horse contender for a place in the All Blacks set-going in symbol to.
With last year's World Cup attendee Atu Moli out for the season after undergoing hip surgery, an put into outfit could arise for Hodgman to attachment passable All Blacks Tu'ungafasi, Joe Moody and Nepo Laulala in the New Zealand squad.
