I have genuenly NO idea how youre able to do color theory so dang well and also make characters that full of personality. Haunt of Fear #14 Cover Silverprint Proof (EC, 1952). A classic "Ghastly" Graham Ingels cover was the subject of this original 1952 Silverprint proof, hand-colored by Marie Severin for use as a printer's guide. It's interesting to note this proof's color scheme was slightly altered for the actual printed version, but this first take still packs a punch.

🌹🎨 Colour Scheme Notes Because Why Not🌹🎨

I had some free time today and felt like playing with colours inspired by my favourite Webtoons and animes!. Plus I wanted to finalize Jade's design a little bit, especially on the braids.

Jade's braids had been a big trouble of mine as it's not good ~(>_<。) It's very hard to draw and difficult to get right for some angles, It takes too much time/wastes so much time to draw, and it's overbearing - too much line art happening on the head while the rest of the face/body is just simple which creates an imbalance.

So yep I simplified the way I draw her hair! Much tidier now isn't it? ( •̀ .̫ •́ )✧

Anyway, this is just a note post for me, and could be a colour guide/palette for my future projects! (❁´◡`❁)

i mostly just fudged it based on his model palette so it's not super accurate but it's enough for me

Just a mini color picker shading guide I did real quick for someone, maybe it'll help others. It's all just IME/suggestions from my own workflow. I know the multiply tool/burn tool/etc. exist but this helps me keep track of my palette. I mainly use this for pixel art (hence the blockies), so your results may vary c:
