Ma'am I've asked for one thing only, the one thing that will heal my broken pinky toe. Some Körangi fluff, that my teeth will rot, and I need to go a dentist for. I wish for it too be a new AU, perhaps a dragon au I dunno.
Signed Comdr. Anon
Here ya go Commander! Apologies for it being a bit shorter, I don't write fluff often but I had the discord help me with it :)
König just couldn't help himself when it came to Horangi. He knew he was large. Maybe not overtly buff, but he was 6'10' with shoulders to match. While Horangi was not small by any means, he was average height and build which translated to small when next to König.
None of this stopped him from trying to sit in Horangi's lap to kiss his face or, when shifted, like right now, curl around his human shifted boyfriend. König was huge. Small house sized with his average sized boyfriend. It was not König's fault that Horangi fit perfectly in his hands like this. His wings were wrapped around both of them, gently squishing Horangi to his body while he tried to wiggle away.
"I'm glad you've moved past sitting on me, but come on." Horangi growled at him, but there was no bite to it. His clingy boyfriend was predictable and he had just got back from a mission. There was no escape.
König purred loud enough to drown out Horangi's protests. "Missed you so much while I was gone." He rubbed his cheek against his body, enjoying the heat that came off of Horangi.
Horangi shifted and tried to fly out of his arms, but now König could lay on him without fear of breaking him so he did. Body pressing both of them down. He accepted his fate because König was perfectly weighted to be a blanket.
"You're ridiculous. You don't need to harass me every time you leave, ya know."
König whined and nuzzled him. "I do! I do need to! I missed you."
Horangi grumbled. "You're like a great dane who thinks he's a lapdog. You're too big to be shoving me around!"
König shifted to a human, still laying on Horangi. "Here. Now I'm not too big." He laid all over him, basking in Horangi's presence.
Maybe a lizard in the sun is a better analogy than great dane.
Regardless, Horangi was luckily in the mood to let his clingy boyfriend cuddle him. He didn't actually have anywhere to be.
"Fine. How about I shift back and we can kiss?"
"Yes."
Horangi laughed at how quickly he answered and shifted back. He laid back and let König smother him in affection. The kisses started on his lips and then went to his jaw, over his eyelids. Small, chaste but very sweet.
Horangi pulled him back for another kiss. "You're just... so cute."
König smiled at him and nuzzled him. "Was waiting for you to catch on."
"Oh? You got jokes now? Can't take a compliment?" Horangi twisted them suddenly so he was on top, kissing König all over. "My yeobo."
"Love it when you call me names I don't understand." König said it so deadpan, Horangi almost forgot he had in fact told him what that name meant and that he was being teased. He bit him so König would know he was on to him but he just laughed. His big hands landed on Horangi's hips, holding him close.
"I love you, yeobo."
"I love you, engel."

Like most people, I have an EPIC multi-story fanfic in my frontal lobe that'll probably never see the light of day considering the speed I can write a single chapter at. However I wanted to share a moment from it that I just had to write somewhere.
During the events of Mass Effect 3, Lt. Comdr Paul Luckner finds himself hastily assigned to the SSV Normandy on its mission to Rannoch. His misgivings come from his unease at the assignment. He's to be part of the delegation under Commander Shepard trying to convince the Quarians to call off their attack to retake Rannoch. Admiral Hacket himself ordered him to assist Shepard giving his knowledge of Quarian culture. Of course he and Shepard aren't on the best of terms after the events of ME2 and 'The Arrival'. They had served together prior to ME1 but her apparent siding with Cerberus had complicated things between them.
"Sir, I'm not an expert on Quarians. I wrote a few articles in the Alliance War Journal on the Migrant Fleet, but that's a drop in the bucket compared to most academics. Surely someone more qualified-"
Hacket holds up a hand, even through vid link, the gesture instantly paused the words on his tongue. From across light-years his grizzled voice carries through the speakers.
"The few experts we have are either dead or missing. We don't have the luxury of being picky Commander. You're the most knowledgeable officer we have besides Shepard herself on the Quarians, and it is imperative that we convince the Migrant Fleet to join us. Supply lines are thinning everyday and those ships would really tip the scales back into our favor. Shepard's mission cannot fail under any circumstances."
He clears his throat, trying his best to arrange his next words respectfully.
"Myself and Commander Shepard don't have the best history Admiral. I'm worried that it might be a detriment to the mission if we can't work together."
"You're an officer Lieutenant Commander Luckner. I expect you to make do. I've asked more of others in this war thus far. You can certainly manage to follow someone you may not get along with for the good of the mission." It's said in the finality of an senior officer. Up for no debate. Paul closes his eyes for a millisecond and nods.
"Yes sir. I understand" he lies.
Luckner and Shepard last met under poor circumstances, and he derided her warnings about the Reapers as a side effect of her resurrection by Cerberus. Serving with Alliance Corsairs he last saw her from behind the barrel of a M-3 Predator pistol, reading her the riot act as he attempted and failed to take her into Alliance custody for treason during her time with Cerberus in ME2
But he's a good Spacer and follows his orders. He carries his seabag aboard Normandy without fan fair and starts setting up a dossier on everything he has on the Quarians (mostly tactical analysis and some brief cultural study). He hand delivers this to Shepard's cabin stone faced well asking to speak with her.
With the Reaper War in full swing Shepard isn't holding grudges and explains that she's let it go. Holding back emotions bottled up since the first day of the war, he apologizes. For doubting her loyalty, her warnings. For turning his back on an old shipmate.
Three months into the war and the toll has been getting to him. His first command, a new frigate, SSV Chapultepec was destroyed in the opening month of the war. He lost a lot of good spacers under his command, he's worried about his sole living parent, his birth mother living on Beekstein after the Cerberus attack of the Citadel makes clear that nowhere is completely safe and despite all that the one thing he can't get out of his head? A stupid book he hadn't started, left in his cabin that was destroyed with his frigate's Home port on day one of the war.
"What book" Shepard asks, arms crossed over her chest. He slumps onto her couch, staring at his ship boots.
"'Eternal Patrol'. The author interviewed me for it last year. It's a history of Alliance Frigates lost in action. She wanted to know about my time on Salamis."
SSV Salamis was his first posting out of Archurus Academy. He had skinned his teeth aboard her and gained his first real experience in command as junior navigator. A pirate ambush in the 'Traverse' however killed several including the captain, and forced the survivors into a desperate battle. The pain never did leave him but he had learned to live alongside it.
Shepard nodded slightly, he knew it was how she conveyed listening, before turning on her heels and grabbing something off her end table by the bed and handing it the him
"You can borrow my copy Paul."
He had to close his mouth, wide with surprise, as he stared at the cover image, an assortment of each class of frigate in service with the System's Alliance since the First Contact War. He flipped to the table of contents, finding Salamis midway into the text, glossy pictures of her and her crew with testimonials from the survivors, including himself. At the end of the section a list of those lost, dedicated to the end.
He felt the sting of tears but clenched then away as he noticed something strange, a bit ahead was a bulge. A page folded over to mark a place. Flipping to it he was met with the Normandy, SR-1
He looked up at Shepard, smiling but with a small glint in her eyes.
"I lost a ship too Paul." It was all she needed to say. He stood, running a hand down his fatigues to straighten them out, and nodded. "Thank you Commander" and left before he could make a fool of himself in front of an old friend.
An old friend.
It was only on the elevator ride back down that he let the tears finally run down his cheeks.
"You can come out now" Shepard said. The bathroom door slide open as a Turians stepped out, running a hand over his neck.
"I still don't trust him, Shepard." Garrus said, a slightly whine in his sub vocals. Shepard turned to meet his gaze and closed the distance between them.
"He'll follow orders Garrus. For now that's enough for me."
"For you maybe." He narrowed his eyes in the Turians approximation of a human scowling. "He pointed a gun at you last time. I'm not so quick to forgive."
Shepard didn't speak. Instead she wrapped her hand in his, interlacing her fingers between his talons. His breathing hitched and his sub vocals twinged as she smiled up at him. The argument certainly wasn't over. But for the moment, this wonderful moment that HE had interrupted, it was on hold. That was enough for both parties.
For now.
Not really sure how to tag this but you guys might.

In the best traditions of the German automotive industry, it is precision-engineered to outclass the competition. Yet at 62 tons and 32ft long, the Leopard tank perhaps lacks the understated grace of an Audi or BMW.Not so, according to the soldiers of Ukraine’s 21st Separate Mechanised Infantry Brigade, who used one on a night-time ambush near Kupiansk in Kharkiv Oblast last month. In their noisy, rattly old-Soviet-era tanks, the enemy would have heard them coming from quite literally a mile away. But with the Leopard’s engine not much louder than a diesel van, they were able to creep up almost unnoticed.[embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GN1_trx0Nl0[/embed]“We were able to get about 200 metres from the Russian lines before we attacked,” said Commander Vitali, of the Brigade’s Third Tank Squad, who has been using the Leopard since the summer.“You couldn’t do that with our older tanks, because you can hear them from two or three kilometres away – they make a lot of noise.”‘Generally a much better tank’The Leopard’s gentle purr is just one of many advantages of the tank, 70 of which have been donated by Nato to Ukraine for use in its ongoing counter-offensive. Britain has also supplied 14 Challenger tanks, but the Leopard is in use in greater quantities as Ukraine’s European allies have far more to spare.Comdr Vitali and his comrades received their Leopards after attending a Nato training course in Europe, where a programme that would normally take 18 months was condensed into just nine weeks.“I have driven tanks before, but my comrades haven’t – I think the tutors were quite impressed that we mastered how to use it in that time,” he said. The Leopard has a top speed of around 42mph and comes with a 120mm gun, capable of punching through two feet of steel armour at a mile and a half. While the models supplied to Ukraine date back the 1990s, it is considered more than a match for the Soviet-built tanks that make up the bulk of the Russian arsenal, with a more accurate gun.“It’s generally a much better tank – easier to drive and handle, and much better protected inside,” Comdr Vitali added. “We haven’t been hit by anything yet, but if we do, we stand a much better chance of surviving.”Still, the Leopard’s presence in Ukraine has not been quite the showpiece gesture of support that the West intended it to be.First, Germany was reluctant to allow them to be used at all, for fear it would heighten tensions with Moscow, and only changed its mind after pressure from Ukraine’s other backers.Hopes that they would be an instant game-changer were also dashed during the counter-offensive’s opening weeks, when several Leopards hit landmines in the so-called “Surovikin Line”, the 80-mile network of Russian defences south of Zaporizhzhia. There have also been questions over their reliability: some have spent years sitting in storage in Europe, and have developed technical faults after time in combat. However, their fundamental toughness has been proved. Thanks to their enhanced armour, crews whose Leopards have been hit by landmines or Russian drones have generally also survived.“Given the choice, I would always prefer to use a Leopard now rather than the older tanks we had before,” said Comdr Vitali.Military analysts believe the Leopard has not yet had the chance to fully show its claws on the battlefield. It will come into its own, they predict, if and when Ukraine’s forces breach the Surovikin Line and push into the open ground beyond, which is much more suited to tank warfare.Combat, though, is also about the art of making do, and many Ukrainian units continue to fight in tanks dating back to the Brezhnev era or before. Commander Oleksandr, with Ukraine’s 93rd Brigade near Bakhmut, uses a Soviet-era T64.It might seem like a Trabant compared to Comdr Vitali’s Porsche. But it has had updates over the years, is simpler to use – and, crucially, is the tank he is used to fighting in.“The Russians use these older tanks too, so we’re not at a disadvantage,” he said.
“And anyway, a tank is just a machine. What’s important is your skill in using it, not how modern it is.”Broaden your horizons with award-winning British journalism. Try The Telegraph free for 1 month, then enjoy 1 year for just $9 with our US-exclusive offer.

"Youth Rally This Evening," Montreal Star. May 7, 1943. Page 3. ---- Victory Loan Display Will Be Held at Forum ---- Smartly impressive in their uniforms that duplicate closely those of the active fighting services with which they are associated, Montreal's sea, army, and air forces Cadets will take a leading part in "Canadian Youth on Parade," the novel Victory Loan rally being presented at the Forum this evening.
Each Cadet group has its own display to offer. Royal Canadian Army Cadets, Plateau Academy Corps, under Major A. Duguay, are presenting company drill. Cadet Lieut. Comdr. Arthur Hammond will supervise Sea Cadets in a signalling demonstration. The Army Cadets, of St. Stanislas Academy Corps., will give a physical training exhibition, while Air Cadets of No. 39 Montreal Kiwanis Squadron, will show what they can do in precision drill.
At the opening of the rally the Cadets will march past the review- ing stand where Air Vice-Marshal R. L. Marix, C.B., D.S.O., air officer commanding No. 45 (Atlantic Transport) Group, R.A.F., will take the salute.
Organized under the auspices of the National War Finance Committee, the youth rally promises to be a lively affair from start to finish, with plenty of swift action and color.
The patriotic spirit of the occasion will find appropriate expression in the renditions of two numbers by massed school choirs, 2,000 voices strong. They are, "Canada Calls," a wartime march composed by Irvin Cooper, supervisor of music for the Protestant Board of School Commissioners of Montreal, and "Rule Britannia."
Interesting displays of Boy Scout work and the presentations of games by Girl Guide units are also billed. Teams under instructors of the Catholic School Commission will be seen in gymnastic displays. The Burlington High School Band is also taking part in the rally.

//Here, have some very awkward Blyla : )
//Aayla is a tiny bit too comfortable with Bly in the presence of other Jedi, and they notice! Whoops!
Aayla rubbed between her eyes, trying to absorb everything Master Kenobi was saying. He and Anakin had arrived about an hour earlier, and she could swear he had been talking ever since. Across the holotable, Ki Adi Mundi listened via hologram, ready with his men three systems away should they need it. The war room aboard the Intrepid was warm and dim, and Aayla’s eyelids drooped. Kenobi’s voice threatened to lull her to sleep…
No, no. She had to pay attention. The plan he was detailing involved her men. He wanted to use a squadron of single-pilot fighters to help a medical frigate bypass the Separatist blockade between them and the planet Coyerti.
A strategy she had already tried twice. A strategy that had already failed twice.
She and the 327th had been in this stand-off for a full four days now. They had already lost an entire cruiser. Only half of the crew had been successfully evacuated before the ship had split in half. Six of her own men had taken fighters out with the first medical frigate. None had returned. They hadn’t gotten a single craft past the Separatist fleet, let alone any supplies to the ground. On the surface, Aayla’s conviction never wavered; but, inwardly, she mourned all the lost soldiers, she felt anxious for her men and the people of Coyerti, and she was absolutely exhausted. She couldn’t remember the last time she had slept – beyond dozing off in a chair on the bridge – and she was struggling to stop her head from bobbing. It didn’t help that next to her fatigue rolled off of Bly in waves.
Aayla reopened her eyes as Kenobi finished explaining. It was a decent enough idea. She had sent both medical frigates out alongside the fighters; Kenobi planned to deploy Anakin and a squadron of A-wings as a distraction, only sending the medical frigate after they’d drawn the droids away. It wasn’t a terribly complex plan. Aayla found herself wondering how Kenobi had managed to talk about it for so long.
“Have you been able to contact the locals?” Commander Cody’s question shook her from her daze. He and Captain Rex flanked their Jedi, both with their helmets under their arms. Aayla straightened, remembering herself, and nodded.
“The Coyerti have all been corralled into Separatist camps,” she said, grabbing a holodisc off the table. “Those who have avoided capture have been forced into hiding. We’ve been corresponding with one such individual on an encrypted frequency, and he sent this two days ago.”
“Has he figured out where the Separatists’ headquarters are yet?” Anakin asked, placing both fists on the table.
“No,” Aayla shook her head, and thought the room moved a little too slowly in front of her eyes. She rubbed her temple and took a breath. “But he did send the coordinates of an underground base with a landing platform large enough for several of our ships.”
Bly stood directly in front of the port for the holodisc. Aayla reached in front of him to access it, placing a hand absently on the small of his back and leaning her weight on his shoulder. One of her lekku curled almost involuntarily around his arm. Bly tensed. Aayla froze.
Her fatigue had so distracted her that she’d forgotten restraint. She felt her cheeks flush as she pulled her hand off her commander. Her fingers spasmed and the holodisc slipped from her grasp, nearly clattering to the floor before she stopped its fall with the Force and snatched it back up. Hurriedly, she inserted it into the holotable, but no one looked at the schematic when it flickered into form.
Aayla kept her eyes glued to the map, but she could feel Kenobi and Anakin staring at her. Her face burned. Bly was still frozen. She pressed holotable controls with shaky fingers to zoom in on the coordinates and opened her mouth to speak, but her words died in her throat when she finally looked up.
Cody stared deliberately at the floor. Kenobi had a hand on his beard and observed her from under raised eyebrows. Anakin was smirking, his gaze darting between Aayla and Bly, and Rex’s eyes were wide and bearing through Bly’s helmet. Thank Force he’s wearing his helmet… Aayla could feel Bly’s discomfort as poignantly as her own, and she knew his cheeks were crimson. When Bly blushed, it was… not subtle.
Ki Adi Mundi, blessedly, was blissfully ignorant. He pointed at the holo and broke the silence. “Is that the landing platform? How are we supposed to navigate a frigate down through all those trees?”
Aayla straightened as best she could. “Our contact has assured us that it won’t be a problem,” she said, resting both fists behind her back, trying to appear rigid. “Worst case, we knock a few over. The Coyerti need these supplies more than their forest needs a couple of trees.”
Mundi looked dissatisfied, but nodded and leaned back. Aayla zoomed the schematic out, trying to ignore the men in the room with her, until several red triangles appeared. She pointed to each one as she spoke.
“The Separatist camps are all just out of visual range from the base, as long as we come in from this angle,” she swiped her hand over the holo and a dotted trajectory line appeared. “So if Master Kenobi’s plan works,” Aayla chanced a look at him, and was relieved to find the amusement gone from his eyes. “This is the path the frigate will need to take.”
Kenobi observed the map a moment longer, and then dropped the hand from his face. “Well, let’s get going.” He turned to address Anakin, Cody, and Rex, and a moment later they were all walking towards the door. Ki Adi Mundi nodded, and his hologram faded out. Aayla stood stone still, forcing herself to examine the schematic on the table, when she felt an elbow in her ribs. She looked up to see Anakin wink at her, and then run out after Obi-Wan. She couldn’t help the ghost of a smile that turned her lips, but quickly suppressed it.
And then it was just her and Bly. Aayla crossed her arms and curled her fingers against her side. She didn’t know what to say to him.
“Aayla, I––”
Aayla put a hand up. She didn’t think she wanted him to say anything, either. He fell silent.
Aayla took a deep breath, and then rested her fingers on his arm. He reached his opposite hand to grab them, but she let go just as quickly.
“We have to get to the bridge to help the fighters,” she said, and walked out of the war room. Sleep – and whatever ever else needed to be said – would have to wait.
