seeing more & more ppl saying that they're starting to lose trust in the s.ims team BECAUSE guess what? they're dropping ANOTHER update and still not a word about how the for rent ep literally corrupts saves, and how the seasons pack is completely broken because weather now occurs indoors. (with many ppl having to disable the $40 pack in general)

and liiiike. i actually recorded a vid about it this morning -- talking about the team and how they're not exempt from criticism and how ppl coddle them when they've been caught lying, making excuses, or other questionable stuff -- basically many things i already went through on this blog in a reply post. but obvs my vid would reach a wider audience. i debated dropping it 'cos i didn't know i i wanted to post something "controversial" in the community or not... but now i'm thinking i oughta.

but really players should know or learn that uh... you shouldn't trust people that work for a major corp that is shrouded in infamy and controversy. and yes, i know these ppl helped work on a game that is beloved by many, and that the gurus put on this "positive" attitude or whateves. but ... none of these players know the devs personally. like YOU or ME or MOST PLAYERS don't know these people!! we only know them from the social medias that is, as i've said, intended to be a professional account -- not a personal one. i'm sorry but ... you really are setting yourself up for heartbreak if you think these are people you can trust or are your friends when it's not that deep.

the sooner players accept this, the sooner s4 may improve as a game. (at the very least, ea will know we won't let them get away with everything 'cos "they're just tryin their heckin hardest!!!")

The fun sport of boycotting american products (from large corporations especially) has become more popular than I thought it would here in Denmark.
