Life Painting I - copy a master portrait. We had to look for a master portrait similar or that of a Rembrandt, and I fell in love with “Old Woman, Reading” by Rembrandt himself. I had mentioned to my instructor I chose this to focus on the face and less on the clothing or background details. I wanted to understand how to paint wrinkles and age lines. This piece took 3 1/2 hours to finish but I feel I could continue on my own behalf. Regardless I am proud of this. .. Acrylic on canvas.. what journals would you recommend for bullet journals? i've been looking for some affordable ones yet everyone seems to use moleskine :( have a lovely day!!

i use a generic black a5 journal that was like $5 ahahaha. i think that i’ve seen a few black journals in places like walmart but idk the price or the quality since i haven’t bought them.

WIP Model anatomy Dead colors Study; understanding the use of glaze. I personally had a hard time wondering if I should even post it because I was super unhappy with it. The colors were all wrong and I just felt like I emphasized the wrong parts from the muscles and face. I started to get super critical and had to walk away.
