Personally we use a term we coined ourselves called critship because for some reason the term proship has turned from “hey I don’t care what you ship” to “I’m actively going to ship depraved disgusting things (lighthearted) with no media literacy”

Critship basically just means you might talk about that stuff, you might not, but you understand it can exist you just have to consume it critically (I actually could give less of a shit but our system does so)

Call yourself whatever makes you comfortable, proship, comship, anti-anti, critship, fuck it you can be an anti if you want just have fun with it

sorry if this is not a request but what is the difference between criticshipping and pro/comshipping??? Like, I've read your description and all, but it seems just proship with less step (you haven't specified if "criticshipping" is being anti-harassment too, like proshipping).

If you're going to point out (like many antis did before) that "proshipping means that you believe fiction doesn't effect reality", I'm sorry to inform you that this is a oversemplification we use (now we are trying to be more specific, saying that we do not believe fiction affects reality directly in the way antis or crazy people believe to).

This is not an accuse/attack or anything like that, I'm just trying to understand where this label comes from and what it means /gen

- Critshipping is a term me and a few friends made, Critical Shipping, or even Criticized Shipping. We are against any sort of harassment to start, and do not support any sort of actions from our art in real life. Critshippers, are aware of how fiction affects reality, and with that knowledge they make their content. Fiction can affect reality, and we Criticize real actions.

- Directly pulled from the internet, here’s what pro shipping means from one of the first websites, “ProShip basically mean pro-shipping or pro fiction, it's a term for people who enjoy and support ships that involve pedophilia, incest, abusive relationships and other things like that.” At least, proshippers get pushed into the same group as people who support the art we create irl. This definitely was made by antis, but it still gives proshippers bad reputation.

- Last thing, Proshippers are a lot of the time like Critshippers, but they get grouped with bad people. We made the word to distance ourselves. Hope this helps.

- Updated: my opinion has more so changed. Critship is just a term under Proship. Support Proship.
